How about this...you hear my idea for a website I want, if you can finish it within the time you believe you owe me, we call it good.  Otherwise we can forget this conversation happened for now.
Sure.

DebitMe: Inasmuch as you think I have your 10.68 BTC, I do not. I consider my owed obligations to you 0 BTC, while you consider it 10.68 BTC. I'm offering you a compromise at the halfway point.

Hey TF, you owe me ~3.384 BTC. Any suggestions?

Same offer, 1.692 BTC of development work.

Well done on GCI! Hopefully none of your changes get hacked Cheesy

Thanks Cheesy
223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 08, 2015, 11:50:07 PM
Wow it's been a busy week! I've been communicating with sources internal to GAW and the outlook is grim. There is apparently a LOT of tension within the company as basically all staff currently want to see Josh gone just as bad as we do. There is even talk of a takeover from within trying to remove Josh from his position. The entire contents of this post have been learned from verified sources within the company.

According to internal sources, GAW is running out of money! Apparently they are having to sell BTC and XPY on a daily basis just to afford to make payroll! That's a bit scary, not to mention, surely not healthy for the XPY market. Doesn't that drive the value down when the creator is selling it off just to keep a sinking ship afloat?

Even more pressing than their money situation is the fact that their primary corporate bank has terminated their accounts. They were issued a 30 day notice last month stating that the bank had decided to terminate the relationship and insisted that they vacate the accounts as soon as possible. To make matters worse, apparently a C-Level employee of the company had their own personal accounts shut down only days later and told that he was now on the anti-money laundering watch list.... Things are starting to unravel folks.

I've also learned that GAW's primary Bitcoin holder, BitGo, has terminated their relationship with the company but I wasn't told why. They were given much less than 30 days to vacate all bitcoin holdings from BitGo. I think it's safe to assume it's for the same reasons as the USD bank, but who's to say? Kudos BitGo.

Lastly, I've been shown significant evidence that Garza went so far as having an affair with one of his employees last year and firing her once it ended. I even learned she may have been pregnant at the time he fired her! I usually would've disregarded this as not relevant, but I do think it fits in with the bigger picture of a deceitful, dishonest crook that needs to pay for what he's done. Once I am given more solid proof on the details of the affair, I will report it.

Some proof please Smiley

I don't have much sympathy for the guy, other than ouch.

How many hours of programming would the 10.68 btc you owe me get me?
If you want hourly billing, I bill at US$100 / hr. I'll happily exchange 10.68 BTC of CoinLenders debt for 5.34 BTC of services credit.

> "Shill or moron. Probably not a good idea to trust either way. Negative feedback left."

This isn't what negative feedback is for.
227  Other / Meta / Re: REMOVE NUBBINS FROM THE DEFAULT TRUST LIST FOR REPEATED TRUST ABUSE on: January 26, 2015, 05:14:46 AM
Giving someone negative trust for disagreeing with you sets a dangerous precedent and degrades the value of the trust system overall (especially if you are part of DefaultTrust)

The situation with WC has been unique to say the least, threads cluttered with alt accounts and shills. To say that Nubbins is tarnishing the reputation of honest users is a bit much. There has been some deceit from WC and Nubbins has tried to caution new/old customers to look closer at what they are actually purchasing. He has certainly been aggressive in his methods.

I think Nubbins should be educated on how his trust ratings are affecting users not confirmed to be scammers before being removed

Exactly. Negative feedback is if you think someone is a scammer, or that they are likely to scam. Negative feedback is not for "Use caution when trusting this user's judgement".

nubbins english isnt native language for some people, that neutral trust isnt really necessary i guess
+1. Left him a negative rating for leaving inaccurate negative ratings.

232  Other / Meta / Re: User MRKLYE is a proven scammer for 25BTC and not red trusted, yet -4 / +3, why? on: January 19, 2015, 12:25:02 PM
What makes no sense to me is that my reputation is worst than Trade Fortresses when the amount of BTC squandered was far less.
I guess people need a villain, if I must be that villain so be it.
Go fuck yourself. You gambled money that people have entrusted to you. Inputs got hacked. Apples to oranges.
233  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask TF thread on: January 12, 2015, 04:46:32 AM
Do you feel any responsibility or remorse for those people that got screwed because of you?  Still feeling the pinch because part of my wedding budget was in coinlenders, as well as, my fiancée's tuition money, and as far as I knew you were going to reimburse people from your own personal stash if anything went wrong (those were the terms I agreed to and was never asked to agree to something different), so I felt like they were pretty safe and obviously wasn't my whole amount.  Do you think its fair to sit on a couple hundred shares of AsicMiner, as well as other securities and bitcoin, and leave those you damaged as if nothing happened?  Certainly if you think that all of that is OK, you will show yourself at some conference or give out your personal details so people can talk with you face to face, because you don't think you did anything wrong, why would others?
I'm sorry for how CL/Inputs ended.

234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: load average, vps suspended on: January 12, 2015, 04:28:42 AM
I attempted to run bitcore to catch up with the blockchain on a shared VPS. It's using too much resource. The load avg spiked to 3 for a few hours and my vps got suspended. Is there a way to lower the priority of bitcore especially when catching up ? I tried the nice command but it rarely helped. Should be an option for bitcoind to consume less resource by running slower ?
crissic?
235  Economy / Services / Re: TravelKings Flights/Hotel Service 50% off Major websites(Expedia/Orbitz)ESCROW!! on: January 12, 2015, 03:03:12 AM
I'm interested, however 50% off sounds too good to be true. I don't think the margin for travel agents / etc is that much.. hopefully not stolen credit cards?
236  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask TF thread on: January 12, 2015, 02:46:42 AM
Inputs had been penetration tested regularly, and on security-critical projects I regularly spend upwards of $5000 on a thorough pentest by professional security forums firms.
made a typo.

This is the sticking point with me. TF was smart enough to know that you can't fully secure anything, and even if you make it so hard it isn't worth it, there's always social engineering. Leaving that much sitting around was foolish, and I don't think he's a fool. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, I don't know.
Yeah, I don't have any explanation other than (i) lazyness (the system wasn't set up to make sending to cold storage easy, and it had to be performed manually), (ii) wanting to keep sufficient amounts on the server so nobody worries/panics, and (iii) about 1500 BTC was deposited within 48 hrs of the hack.

The later systems I've built do make sending to cold storage easier, but for the most recent site it was still an manual process. I intend on doing automatic cold storage transfers (hourly cronjob) for my future projects.
237  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: January 12, 2015, 01:16:12 AM
How is everyone today?

Butt hurt?

I'm looking to take investers to fund the BTC of my ATM when one of my partners takes and ball and leaves, as I'm soon expecting.

Could something like this be used to take in BTC and hold for a time, with tracked returns as the ATM makes money.
Setting the ability for people to cash out?

Thanks Smiley

He claims to have lost over 4k bitcoins, how is that very good coding skill? (we know he stole it, but how can you call him a good coder when he says he lost it?)
I believe he was a decent programmer. Even if this wasn't a inside job, it doesn't make you a bad programmer that you missed something which someone else found out. Peoples brains operate differently, or may be more skilled. It doesn't make him a bad programmer.

Although, for holding such a large amount of coins, he should of invested in some penetration testing. (He might have) But, as far as I'm aware he coded it himself and probably didn't think it would be a problem checking for security issues himself.

It wasn't a programming bug. The exact vulnerability is described in Brain Eha's upcoming book Walking the Silk Road (inputs has its own section!!), but the gist was the attacker managed to reset the password on a chain of my emails, and get into the server control panel. There was no programming bug.

Inputs had been penetration tested regularly, and on security-critical projects I regularly spend upwards of $5000 on a thorough pentest by professional security forums.

You are still unable to provide an example to support your baseless accusation.

Caught you in a lie yet again.  Been proven many times already.   Wink

This is absolutely incorrect. Vod has NEVER been able to 'prove' a 'lie' that TECSHARE has told. It has been in fact established that Vod's accusations is entirely baseless, and all he can do is resort to diverting the topic, claiming supposed proves when such has never existed, ad hominem attacks, and demands for 100 BTC for the proof.

Please read through this thread and you will see that Vod's accusations are entirely baseless, and no proof has ever been proved: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=915823.0;all
