Doesn't have to be super long or anything just explaining how it came about and whats going on with the current state of ethereum. Will pay a few ETC for the first person interested.. As a CryptoNumismaticist i want both coins to survive. However, i am guessing that the ETH foundation support the attack as i am getting my posts intercepted by mods. All i tryed to post was along the lines of "Think long and hard, the world is watching and so are the crypto press and you are publishing your intentions".
Wow, That is not a good situation. I don't think i want to post there any more now.
Well i am not intending to sell what i am mining so if the price is in for a rough ride, so be it. I can hold out.

Just support the network and start mining. Running at etc.nanopool.org and have been since they made ETC available to mine there Also, running full node on my server 24/7 I don't support anyone attacking anyone but people need to be aware. |

Maybe https://forum.ethereum.org support the 51% attack on Classic and want it to go ahead and are not letting me post. I was just going to point out that it is being reported on by the crypto press already. |

Yes the pools are at war! getting good results at nanopool.org  Time Bomb! where difficulty will rise exponentially, within 4 months? If we don't fix it the coin will die? Anyone? Also, DAG already at 1.6GB. 2GB GPUs will fail before the end of the year because of this. I think VB will go to Serenity early. It would be a move that would wave ETH miners goodbye, and leave only stakeholders influencing ethereum. But would they flock to ETC? Who knows? |

Yes, but there is a time bomb where difficulty will rise exponentially. ETH have a plan. They will switch to PoS in January 2017. ETC will have to think of something before it ends up costing big money to mine. AND Soon! |

Maybe he should broaden his horizons a bit, it pays to have an ear to the ground in every corner. One can become isolated from the grass roots quite quickly. You soon become like the people you have around you. |

I would like to take the time to thank the OP for this fantastic new coin. I mine and collect cryptocoins. I actively mine 7 different coins at the moment and control the keys to around 12 different cryptocoin wallets, inc, ETH and the new original ETC as well as many others.
@OP Thanks bud, I have had a wonderful time mining and collecting your coins. You are good at computing but your game theory sucks! You had the opportunity to finish your degree until Peter Thiel tempted you to drop out of university for a measly sum of $100,000.
I had to drop out of university in the final year of my BSc (Hons) because both the cost of tuition fees and transport costs forced me into Bankruptcy. I would have loved to have had my Honors Degree and Bachelor of Science. I was only 9 months away from passing with First Class Honors.
Well what's done is done. I'm a miner now and my game theory is better than yours. I have had so many sh*ts and giggles over ethereum. The entertainment value has been priceless but boy you are dumb!
But what times do we live in where money has become more important than wisdom, knowledge, education and enlightenment?
You are half Russian and you let capitalism own you! You are young. I am old. But here is a message from this mad old woman... remember this; all the money you make... it will never buy back your soul. Get your ass back to school, you need to work harder on that Game Theory of yours, knowledge is not wisdom.

im still thinking about what this is about. Politics have financial incentive. lets say we got to the conclusion forking because of theft is bad because its not immutable like btc and gold, then there would be x10 profit for the people recognizing it early enough its easy as that because btc wasnt forking because of silkroad or whatever. Eth has been fine, dao made the mess. (like btc/ silkroad or whatever criminal action) We should have forked the dollar after the 2008-9 banking crash to stop the credit default swap people getting rich! The Fed could have issued new dollars and asked folk to burn their classic ones...  |

I mined for 24h now with 4x R9 280x eth-proxy says 83MH/s.
Got this:

Total Paid: 0.58362648
I turn my miner off. This does not pay out for me. Pool is great anyway, lots of shares.
That's not good, that pool is not great regardless of lots of shares. 40Mh/s at eth.nanopool.org is getting me about 2 etc per day. Payout at 1 eth so i get paid twice daily. Happy days |

This means it is really not going away. What will happen to Vitalik if his fork fails? Will he go back to the original chain? I think Vitalik will want to leave ETH soon but seems likely he needs to stay to avoid being sued. What is clear with ETC is that people who love crypto are taking a stand of what we want crypto to stand for.
And that is not a bail out. Funny anecdote when Bitcoin was created the Bitcoin genesis contained the message "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks". Vitalik knows his crypto history so I doubt he supported a bailout HF. My guess would be that he is being used by the people around him.

What use is the Address, i don't think ethereum classic have a working block/address explorer. When i search for my ETC mining address on https://etherscan.io/address it shows as zero balance.... however, my mist browser node/wallet shows a healthy increasing balance. Any news on the upcoming Classic fork to manage the exponential diff curve time bomb? That needs to be sorted as we wont be switching to a PoS in January like the Ethereum team planed. At least i hope we have no plans for PoS. It would be nice to shift to PoC then anyone could use any computer to mine. We need a cilent /lite wallet too. Any news on any of these?
