1821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Every 4 Year on: April 27, 2022, 12:57:46 PM
For those who are familiar with old bitcoin, of course, justify the fact that every 4 years the price of bitcoin skyrocketed and then dropped to make many investors panic, and I already felt when buying bitcoin at a price of around $ 1000 in 2017 then the price skyrocketed to more than $ 19k but unfortunately I can't wait and sell when the price is around $ 12k.

How many times bitcoin goes like this? And if you gonna miss the next halving for sure you lose the opportunity to gain from its 4 year cycle events. Data proves that there are pump will happen after that so most provably what we see before might happen also in future so I guess while bitcoin is at bad shape its time for everyone to accumulate.
1822  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: April 27, 2022, 11:39:35 AM
parang madaming mag quiquit sa origin kapag hindi worth it ang rewards, sa pvp kasi masyadong time consuming parang umaabot na sa 10th round.

Kaya nga, isipin mo na lang..

Longer play time = frustration lalo na kapag laging talo
Frustration is bad for our health.
Reward = less and less

Stressful sya before kase we all want to make more money pero ngayon, medyo chill nalang talaga ang no pressure na kase hinde naman ganoon kalake ang kikitain mo sa isang araw kaya no need na magseryoso unlike before.

1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: April 27, 2022, 10:23:21 AM
This is in order right? I wonder why USA isn't really there when in fact they are the known hotspot for gambling in the world. Macau wasn't on the list as well even though they are the known hotspot for gamblers here in Asia, I'll agree if this survey was done during the lockdown and not when it was permitted already personally to attend every casino.

USA has tight regulation towards gambling so maybe this is the reason why the number of gamblers decrease and not surprise for them not to be on the list knowing many casino ban US citizens to play on their casino.

I'm surprised for the other listed especially Italy and Finland since I didn't expect that they will be listed on top 10 but guess gambling is rampant there since statistics will not lie.

1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys think about this project? (Oz Finance) on: April 26, 2022, 09:37:54 PM
Here is their website: https://oz.finance/
Just hoping for opinions, speculations, possibilities & predictions.

Maybe the least thing you can do if you have interest on something especially on investment you should check the legitimacy of the team members if they are using the right profile of the team since this one will give you an idea if they are not hiding something, also try to reach their community where their supporters or possible investors discuss about the project and get an idea on how the flow of discussion and ideas goes there. Lastly don't invest immediately on that project to many scams are been created already so best do more personal research about the project to be more educated about them.
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: Im ready to adond all banks and my friends also dont need banks anymore on: April 26, 2022, 12:23:38 PM
I don't think that as an institution, banking system will be simply ignored by us. For sure we all love crypto no doubt about it and maybe some of us are not using any banks at all. But personally, I can't, I have to pay my house mortgages with check so obviously, I need banks to process it for me. And with that, it will be very difficult if not impossible to bypass every huge transaction without banks and fiat.
The banking system will be forced to transform into a different form. In the form that it is, it will be forced to change to the needs of users like OP. But at the moment, there are very few such users. What percentage of BTC users compared to users of the traditional banking system? I'm guessing it's negligible. And I think that people will refuse banking services reluctantly and slowly. All the same, despite the shortcomings, there is convenience in this.

Of course, I would like to see more people like OP and more people switch to bitcoin, but it seems to me that the time for this phenomenon to be widespread has not yet come.
What happens is that once a system is put in place then changing it is very difficult, most people do not see the reason to abandon their fiat currencies, they know there is something wrong as they can feel the high inflation all over the world but they do not see an alternative so they keep using their fiat, however once things get bad enough then that is when people will begin to look for answers to their problems, and that is when we could see a massive adoption of bitcoin and we could reach a critical mass which eventually allow us to use bitcoin in almost every single business that we may like.

Maybe in some reason they fantasize things and think about they don't need fiat anymore. But in reality once they  been hit on reality that the fiat still dominant for sure they will think about exchanging their crypto to fiat and use bank for safe keeping. Many people think about banks will die when crypto adoptions spread on many countries, but what provably the scenario will happen there is bank will stay and they adopt the new changes in technology and might they also accept bitcoin deposits/withdrawals or any transactions in future.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 26, 2022, 11:08:43 AM
No, because campaign managers is just handling the bounty campaigns and how does the casino reputation be included on that? Casino is the only one can work with their reputation and campaign managers cannot do with it if they do good and provide outstanding service to their costumers then by that they can earn good reputation. Maybe on marketing perspective it can contribute a little bit since many can assure to receive what they are expecting for hiring a reputable campaign managers.
1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — 1st licensed crypto casino 🥇 Change the way you play 🚀 on: April 26, 2022, 08:57:13 AM
After yesterday Bitcoin had raised the price to $42K. Today the price returned to $40K and maybe this was due to a weekly correction that Bitcoin experienced. So it seems we still need to be patient longer. But I still believe that Bitcoin will break the price of $50k- $60k later.
This was expected to be honest since BTC has been following this particular pattern(Fluctuating between $39K and $44K) for quite sometime recently. This is why my prediction is close to the $40.5K mark.

I don't see BTC breaching $50K or $60K anytime soon unless something big happens which positively influences the crypto market on the whole.
But sadly, now the price of BTC has dropped even deeper to $38k and hopefully, this doesn't make many people panic to sell their BTC quickly.

I think it will take more time for BTC to rise beyond $45k or even $50k because with all the news going on around us, it seems like BTC is still holding the price down. It looks like BTC still provides an opportunity for us to buy more.

Normal scenario when seeing the price go down at that level and those people who have weak hands will surely drop off what they have because they afraid to lose money when bitcoin market is not in good shape. Also fuds will spread so I guess this is one of contributing factor on people decision to dump immediately. But since we know how strong bitcoin is for sure we can see a market reversal after the dump and for sure those people who dump their bitcoin at bad market days will buy it again.
1829  Economy / Economics / Re: Bill passed requiring drunk drivers to pay child support if they kill parents on: April 25, 2022, 10:47:16 PM
The bill should be applied to all countries and will have a deterrent effect on all drivers so that all drivers do not drive their cars when drunk, as it is dangerous for the driver and others.
There is no excuse for a rich or poor driver if he makes a mistake while drunk, he should be punished and responsible for raising his child until he grows up because he made his son lose his father who should be his responsibility.
In the country where I live, a lot of accidents happen because of drunk driving and it's just a criminal law which I don't think is a severe punishment without thinking about the victim's family.

Yeah that's best if all country apply this law since it will give security to the victims children if something bad happen to their provider due to this unfortunate incident made by drunkards. But a law on certain country may not apply on other since some politician have different outlook unto this situation and might we see them denied since maybe they will get affected to the law since their part of family do this.
1830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 25, 2022, 02:56:20 PM
I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

I dont think we're gonna see anymore gains like people of the 2010s and 13s experienced. and even 2017...|

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?

I kick myself so hard every night going to sleep that I didn't get in earlier. Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T

Why thinking about late while anytime you join is consider a good decision made. Maybe you are just thinking about how cheap the price of bitcoin before compare to now. But if you see how bitcoins adoption goes well we can say that we are not into full adoption yet. And might in future we can see more so don't feel anything bad on it and focus to learn on things what can make you earn.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 25, 2022, 12:44:10 PM

On my side, I'm disappointed because his last resort to reduce his weight is not reasonable at all. They cannot have an excuse that they forgot because they are busy on getting Casimero's weight fixed, nah! That doesn't work like that, his weight is always a problem and will be a problem again if he doesn't move out on this division. Yes, his dreams to fight against Donaire or Inoue is far from reality for now as he needs to start again.

Sorry, I got mixed up on the thread's title. Forgot that the thread of Casimero or Sultan has been locked already.

He's out of the picture now. It's for Donaire and Inoue now that we will wait to take place, and moving back to the topic.

I would like to see if how Donaire will prepare for this fight, in terms of power punches or combos. Donaire still has that killing instinct

if Inoue will be careless, the chance of him being KO is still be possible. We saw that from Donaire's last fight he carefully analyzes

his movement and take the finishing attacks when he notices what the lapses from his opponent.

Casimero's big controversy what make him out of the picture, also for sure Inoue will find nonsense as he get nothing if he fight Casimero so for now we can really say that their fight will not gonna happen. Casimero has belt has been taken out so most provably Inoue will think about nothing if he push to fight him. I think Donaire is his last fight and go more higher if he successfully win this match.
1832  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: April 24, 2022, 11:46:57 PM
If you're constantly up on the news, I'm sure you're aware of the scientists stage worldwide climate change protests.

Over 1,000 scientists from 25 countries took part in the Scientist Rebellion's demonstrations over a week ago.

How does this affect on the market? Or doesn't at all? On the prices of bitcoin?

To be honest I actually didn't bother to look up for a news like this as I focus on other things but for seeing those scientist protesting about possible huge danger that may come if we keep ignoring the environment I do some little acts like now. And people should put more bigger weights about what they are fighting for right now because if people will keep ignoring on what they are fighting for for sure in future we will face the consequences on what we do and worse same like dinosaur human race will extinct to.

1835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 22, 2022, 09:53:31 PM
I have most of mine on an exchange because I'm getting paid interest. Has there ever been a time when an exchange like Binance for example, steals your funds or gets hacked and people lost money?

Depends on the exchange where you left your balances and if you leave it on binance for staking purposes then  think this is totally fine but take extra precaution upon using your account especially on phising sites since this is how people got compromise if they log their personal account on fake websites.

Also even if Binance is trusted exchange still there are chances that they will be hit by bigger exploits so the risk still there.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Basketball] Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA CHAMPION campaign discussion on: April 22, 2022, 12:56:02 PM
I'm not betting anything on who will become the NBA champion but as always I will always vote for Warriors since this team is always doing good even before. Also their current rooster is doing good now and looks like we are seeing a usual complete Warrior line up which won a championship before.

Hope they win this season since this could hype up the dub nation.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found a new hidden gem called AltSwitch. Do you think it will go 100x? on: April 22, 2022, 10:36:37 AM
Newly created account them post about found hidden gem? Nah stop it mate I suspected that you are part of the altswitch team and you just want to hype up that token. Maybe try to think other way to promote because for doing this we would provably think about that this is scam.

Especially the account you use is new and no other activity here.
1838  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. links North Korean hacker group to $600 million crypto theft on: April 21, 2022, 10:47:04 PM
I can tell you why Sky Mavis didn't want to comment on it Cheesy I mean us government could feel good about it because they are not worried about NK, but just some regular citizen who is CEO of some company could still feel scared against a whole nation. If you get NK against you, you will live in fear, maybe they won't do anything, or maybe they would, who knows? All in all I have to say that NK being behind all of this shocks me a bit.

I didn't know they had this good of hackers, I knew they had "some", but their talent level was unknown to me, considering they do not even have internet for regular people, raising a good hacker must be so hard.
Best hackers?
SK is listed but no NK.
https://bscholarly.com/countries-with-the-best-hackers/

As a company CEO then you would get hesitated on dealing on a particular nation considering that NK isnt someone that you should mess up.
So its not surprising that this issue is been buried gradually.

Maybe Skymavis is already moving up on this issue and they already give an assurance that they can get over with this hacking then continue the developments which is already happening to them right now. I guess many people are not following about this case but I can say North Korean Hackers is really good since they penetrate and accumulate that amount of money. But since they have been unmasked for sure other big digital companies will be more careful about this kind of issues.
1839  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: April 21, 2022, 01:53:29 PM

I completely agree. If the Russian government lifted the 15-year prison-sentence threat for anyone protesting the war, we would at the very least see half the country rise against Putin.  15 years in a Siberian Gulag is a tough pill to swallow for normal people, so therefore I am not going to betitle those who have been scared into silence as cowards.

The blind hatred towards Russians, especially those living in other countries is disgusting. This is how things escalate towards mass xenophobic genocides. Although we are not quite pushing Russians into gas chambers yet, I still don't like seeing innocent people beat up in the streets or having their cars lit on fire because they spoke russian in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Look at what some countries like Croatia are doing: taking away citizenship from Russians. So what, deport them into a warmongering country that they don't want to live in? Great idea, Croatia. Genius idea.
In today's world most of the people are well aware what are the after affects of the war. Russian are not free to protest but need of the time is to stop implementing force on the weak. On the other hand we daily see Israelis torturing Palestinians and there is no opposing. There is a need for equality and there is a need for tolerance. May we all see the dawn of peace Ameen
The consequences of war have been clear from time immemorial and unfortunately, many of us can't do much to see the people who suffer as a result of war. If there is still a desire to become a country feared and recognized as having great power, then the war to conquer a weak country may still occur. Lately, Russia has also denounced the actions that the Israelis have taken against the Palestinians and if they don't stop, Russia has promised to raze them to the ground. Dawn will come and give warmth to people.

The damage made by this war is so huge and there's no clear indication that this will stop soon as both of the country still fighting each other. Feel sorry for the citizens of both countries since they are the one who's been more affected on this and maybe next time they should know on which of those politician running for a set is really have a heart for their people and have strong intellectual power to decision on what's beneficial to his country and which is not.
1840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can newbie become rich with trading on: April 21, 2022, 11:43:26 AM
Trading look like a hard to understand game and for any new person in trading making profits is always hard that is why am here to ask how can a newbie make profit trading coins and what manual can be followed.

Actually no because as being a newbie you don't know what you are doing in the market and how could you became rich if you have zero knowledge upon dealing with volatility for sure the real scenario there is you get broke first or maybe many times before you will come up with that status because every defeat on trading you will learn something that you may apply on your trade so be consistent trader if you want to be rich on trading.
