1101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest fear about Bitcoin Halving. on: February 02, 2023, 11:47:48 AM
Bitcoin halving is characterised by price boom and this is a general believe of some bitcoiners and members of this forum.
My greatest fear is; what if 2024 halving comes and go without any kind of bull run? Don't you think that there will be a serious problem and panic in the industry?
This is because 2024 halving is the greatest available hype that can move the market. Besides that, I don't see any possible wave that can move Bitcoin to a new ATH. Unless US government will have to make BTC a legal tender.

Bitcoin halving from the past didn't get any decline and always it follows with a bull run so we can expect that this will also happen since many other people will think about it also. The beliefs of the people will converted to demand that's why we see the price keep pumping so don't expect anything bad about it since for sure we can see great price pumps when halving happens. Nobody want to left behind about it and some people are now accumulating and maybe this is the reason why the price is slowly pumping at the moment.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 02, 2023, 10:03:35 AM
Yeah, he's should get 30 for the remaining games and he'll definitely there and we all will witness history  being mae. I've seen a trivia about his stats for the recent game that he's the first at his age to do a triple-double.

What's more interesting is that as he's approaching to hit those numbers. How much the price for the ticket will be for every close possible game that he'll make it.

Lebron James is so much invested in getting that record, Stephen Curry has gotten the most 3 points in the NBA and likely giving it extra mile in the years to come, I think if Lebron James would landed on that number he will surely still be willing to still play to further add to that numbers so the next one to likely want to break that record will have a hardtime, passing it,

I don't really know the price for the tickets but surely most fans want to watch history as Lebron James is about to break a record,
I think that his stay won't be anymore about record breaking. If he's able to break a record, that would suffice him as he's already made a history and with his stay.

I think the main reason is for him to play together with his kids and that's all. Whether 1 or both of them gets into NBA with the same team, the joy that he's got is there and at the same time the record is still there too.

Its all about record breaking since he could seal up his legacy and leave a good track once he retire. He is almost the end point of his career so for sure all he care right now is to break those records because it can bring all the glory to his name then maybe he can convince the other who doubt that he is the goat. Maybe its only a second priority to play with his kid since this is not big achievement but he maybe want to leave a mark to his kid about their experience playing with their father together.
1103  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: February 01, 2023, 12:51:16 PM
Well, I have to clarify that personally I have never had any loan or debt in my life so this thread has nothing to do with my experience but intends to find out how people in loan/debt deal with the problem. Let's say you take loans from a bank and sometimes for whatever reason, you can not pay the debt on time, then you borrow money from other channels. Sure this works for a certain period but later bad things may happen, you have to postpone the payment and struggle with finances again. Isn't this a vicious circle ? How would you deal with the problem ? I am all ears.

Yes it is especially if you don't have anywhere to go like no other income streams to fill those loan up for sure you will go to that option because you think it can save your ass from your existing loans. But this is really a bad behavior considering that you might get more bigger debt because the percentage of loan became more higher.

If your seeking for solution to end this cycle then negotiate to the person who lend you some money and state the percentage you can only afford to them and don't take any loan from other for sure you or your friend can get over with this.
1104  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: February 01, 2023, 11:32:27 AM

1105  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBet Tips on: February 01, 2023, 10:03:07 AM
Forget the haters and keep up the good work mate! Do you have a telegram channel or discord where you post the picks?

If the haters are reputable forum users most provably there is a problem with the gambling site he promotes, you can't ignore it especially when it comes to legitimate users since it could save your money if you still playing at that site. Much better listen to the feedback given since they will not drop those commentaries if they don't have basis on what they are saying. If the casino is good for sure they rarely receive a bad feedback so think about that.
1106  Economy / Speculation / Re: does the increasing number of altcoins have a negative impact on the price btc on: January 31, 2023, 11:33:12 PM
I'm still a beginner in crypto, as we know from time to time the number of altcoins is increasing, but I want to ask,
will the increasing number of altcoins affect the price of bitcoin,?

but in my opinion it will not affect the price of bitcoin, even though the number of altcoins is increasing.

If many scam alt token creators will come then to many people invest with them maybe they can give a short term effect to the market since those scammers can actually dump millions of dollars in volume so provably it can move the market for a while. But that's temporary and there's nothing to afraid of since bitcoin could recover in anything happens to it since support is so strong with this coin.
1107  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: January 31, 2023, 11:30:27 AM
is it possible to make withdrawals to an e-wallet? I want to deposit via crypto and withdraw via e wallet because I see withdrawals are only available for bank transfers, or is there another way?
What exactly do you mean by e-wallets? Do you mean you want to withdraw to the exchange wallets directly?
E-wallet is like OVO, GOPAY, DANA (Indonesia), Venmo (US), WeChat Pay (China), and the like.
People now use these apps more and more, and youngsters even don't have a bank account, lol.

Anyway, I believe this feature will be implemented because of the demand, fingers crossed.

That's a huge work to be done but since if demand will rise up towards this withdrawal options ask by their costumers then maybe they agree to implement this in future. But I don't think it will happen as fast as we think since if we look at those other big casino they don't have this options and always stick on crypto because this is more convenient rather than implementing other options. But let see what will happen to this request if this will be implemented here or even to other casinos.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: January 31, 2023, 09:56:11 AM
The key for success is don't spend which excess on your income but that doesn't mean that you can spend 80% of your income and save the 20% since that still bad since it can slow down your progress maybe try to find some ways to find another income stream like selling some other goods which is needed on your area since even if your are in low income area for sure you can still earn by those people around you by buying their needs to you. Also try to seek opportunity online since on current era digital space is more convenient for human being to find work so its good for us to seek for good hustle to earn some another extra cash.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 30, 2023, 12:43:04 PM
And what others have thought:

https://twitter.com/OfficialNBARefs/status/1619815874583752704

The referees themselves admitted that they have make a big blunder on that last play, a drive by Lebron which they didn't call any foul. On the other hand, they call a foul + 1 on the other side prior to the call to make the score tie. And James is really mad after that but he can't do anything but to continue to play but eventually they have lost the game. And this game is closed to rigging and cheating by the referees, in my opinion.
There's the ref on that side of view on that image and I don't believe what they say. In those crucial moments, they have to review if it's a foul or not, right?
But they didn't call it out since it's their home team that's in danger of just losing the game with just 1 free throw to get in made by James. There should really be a call out on that incident and more sanctions and punishments for those referees that neglected their duty.

Yes, I certainly agree! They said it themselves, "Like everyone else, referees make mistakes". But the question is, are they getting some penalties or some sort of punishment because of the move they did? I guess not and for that, they should evolve for a much better referee so that every game is somehow fair and just.

By the looks of it, it sure looks like the refs made a bet on the Celtics side and the reason why they cheated or rigged the game. Just a thought.

We all know that, we are all human and bound to make mistakes. But as referees, they should at least minimized it or used replay as others  have said. It's really unfair for the team losing in this way, it's not on their hand but with the referees miscalls.

I didn't say specially that there could be referees betting on this game, but the good thing is that I"m not the only one with that mindset.

And so they really have to investigate who officiated this game and see if they have a bet on the other side because that's how it looks like to me at least.

That's important win for lakers since they will go to number 6 in the seed but damn things happen, that's why I understand why Lebron act like that because this is really a huge upset decision made by the officials in the court.

Nba should do an investigation about this and suspend those officials since this is crucial game which need to take their full attention but they neglect and cost huge for a team.
1110  Economy / Economics / Re: Track every rich person take on: January 30, 2023, 11:10:09 AM
Some people are rich, because they inherited their wealth or their previous generation opened doors for them to be successful. I know of several examples where people with money, used their money to get their children into top educational institutions.

So, it turn out that it is all about what you have and who you are linked to... and not simply what you achieved. A perfect example is a son of one of my friends.... he was the top achiever in his school... he then applied to study for a doctor .... and he was denied.. but one of his friends with a doctor as a father, with average achievements.. were accepted.  Roll Eyes Angry

This is why it's completely useless to mimic what the rich are doing. You also have to have a certain amount of luck in order to be successful. You might be doing what the rich guys are doing, and you're mimicking them a 100%, but without the opportunities and connections that the rich have, you will only work harder and achieve above-average results with little to no change in terms of progress in your career or business.

Following their ways may help one way or another in enriching some aspects of your life. But making you rich? That's highly improbable if you don't have luck.

People just expect to much if they just follow what those rich people say thru their words of wisdom they could follow their success, but they forget about the struggle what those people encounter also for sure they can't mimic those rich people counter action about those challenges since not everyone have the same level of patience and courage to continue.

Following their ways is really helpful its just they need consistency on what they are doing since if they are good at start and leave everything because they find it difficult then all of it is useless.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 30, 2023, 09:25:44 AM
.....
But I am still required by law to publish my personal information in public records as the CEO of the company. Why should an online casino be any different?
All types of companies are already required to submit their personal information to regulators are they not? Those records are not readily available to the public and they have to make some request before they can get it from what I know. The difference in what the OP is trying to do is that they're planning to release info that's probably beyond what's required by law.
And only the regulators will know the personal information of each of these companies. We as the public, will not know about it and the casino itself will not issue any news to the public about it either. And we don't need to worry about it. We just keep playing and hope to win. Whether the identity of the casino owner and his team are published or will remain anonymous will not be a problem for gamblers because if his identity is revealed to the public but the casino cannot provide good performance for its users, it will mean nothing.

It does not necessarily means that for casinos to be patronized, the CEO would or the casino would make public the identities of the board of directors or otherwise. I just believe since casinos are licensed by the government, they have the right to operate and government are in possession of their identity profiles so that should not call for alarm. Just as you have said, gamblers and bettors only aim and goals are just to play and win their games and as we all know not every time it is so. Sometimes you win and sometimes you loss that is the nature of the casino business so any one going in for it should be prepared mentality, psychologically, emotionally and otherwise so as not to get unexpected reaction from an event on result of game play. As to the identities of casinos ownership, it does not really matter to gamers as long as the casino git a government license to operate. I myself am okay by that. Every one has his or her own opinion about that.

Talking about crypto casino there are only few of them got license because some of the country maybe doesn't accept this or they have strict requirements before they can get some, only curacao is easy country to get that but it doesn't mean anything since scam casino can also get that in that country. So what most valid point to see right now is how long those casino operates and their performance on that time span of operation siince this will tell everything about pointing out if they are good or not. KYC of their owner is just a bonus point to see but actually not so important.
1112  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ang LELE GOLD ay official ng shutdown on: January 29, 2023, 10:31:48 PM
KeppoFarm yung name tapos another pyramiding scheme din na most likely mag pe-fail in the long run.

Kailangan talaga magspread knowledge about crypto or sa mismong scheme na to para umunlad tayo.

1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big money bad for bitcoin in the long run on: January 27, 2023, 11:44:09 AM
As bitcoin continues on its current bullish path, all kinds of people are trying to ride this wave by buying any cheap coins they can get their hands on as they anticipate the next High to come. But the scary part about this is that Big money is also flowing into the crypto economy that will push price to easily register new highs, but this comes at a price, when these whales decide to take out their money.. markets bleed red which is why Big money is not good if volatility is to be controlled. In the long run Bitcoin is better off without the Big money, otherwise this becomes like a pyramid scheme always leaving the last man standing with empty pockets as the first guy to make a move gets all the accumulated $$$$.

What's the community's take on this?

Unfortunately for now dumping is normally happen but I don't really think the scenario where all of whales will dump at the same time together. For sure other whales will catch those dumps and earn on next high if other will dump it. We shouldn't worry about those situation since to many times bitcoin prove a good run. The only thing need to be taken care or worth to give some attention is Bitcoin reaching its all time high and it dumps which also go to long bearish situation since this could avoid us from losses and can possibly give us profits.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 27, 2023, 09:57:57 AM
~
What do you think about this claim? Is he right or wrong?

Online gambling isn't that popular until the pandemic happened.
Gamblers can't go to casinos because of lockdowns. They don't want to be idle and they always want to gamble thus, they tried to gamble online and that's the start of popularity of online gambling.

Pandemic somehow contribute the outrageous growth of online casino and we can add up the rising number of social media influencers promoting it then telling that they can easily earn money here that's why many people got curious to try then trap until they didn't realize that they are been addicted with the games.

If people will look at this form of entertainment then its fine but unfortunately many other mislead unto this and they have been told to easily get rich if they continuously play on casinos.
1115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 26, 2023, 02:08:03 PM
Its just an emotion and they only think they got revenge because coincidentally they win after they lose on their last trade. But actually this one doesn't seem exist since its just your lucky at that time you secured your profit after your trade became successful.

Although there's nothing wrong about thinking like this since somehow if this one helps since it could challenge them maybe this could give them more determination to possibly win each trade or positions they do.
1116  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CRYPTOK – Sulit ba ito? on: January 26, 2023, 12:42:38 PM
Since nilabas na nila yung list ng dapat pag-usapan sa event, why bother attending the conference? Unless gusto mo mapalawak yung connection mo for business purposes, then go.

But if ang habol mo lang is the introduction about crypto in general; i-search mo na lang isa-isa yung topic sa net, hindi ka pa pagod sa pag commute. Baka nga ma out of place ka pa don sa event kapag wala kang kakilala na kasama Grin.
Tama! If connection yung hanap mo maybe it's worth it pero di din nila dinisclose kahit yung mga aattend dun sa workshop. Mostly ng sasali dun is we can expect na wala pa masyadong alam sa crypto but of course may mga sasali dun na may mga business at gusto nila mag adapt sa crypto. I think na konti lang yung sasali sa workshop nila because of the ticket, yes it's the ticket. Pero isa din sa iniisip nila kaya ganun is gusto lang nila maging part ng workshop nila is yung pursigido at ready mag risk given almost all things in crypto has risks.

I'm just thinking if di nila ma hit yung quota nila sa tickets, Will the event continue?

1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 26, 2023, 10:53:32 AM
Most of us here are rooting for Donaire to win by KO. However, I have to bet against you guys because I think Inoue will not be able to knock out Jason Moloney, and when that will go to the judges scorecards, the decision might not favor Donaire. I know that he will take this opportunity to win to become a champion again, but judging on his last fight, I believe his age really slowed him down and has affected his power.

Donaire being slowed down isn't really a problem after all. He is already slowed when he passes his peak but takes a look, why still winning most of his fights since entering maybe at 35 years of age or the age where we can consider him a veteran?

While Donaire is slowly losing his speed, his game style also adjusted. The goal is to gain more points therefore, he will do it slowly but surely.

It's just that he was overpowered by Inoue previously but still, his current game style is surely effective at other bantamweight boxers.

But even if he slows down, he negate it with his power and timing, we have seen that he can knockout anyone in the 118 lbs. And for me Donaire is not that fast or quick as let's say Manny Pacquiao, he uses his boxing IQ to really time his opponent coming in that's why you think he is fast. Even in the Darchy fight, you can already see his IQ there by just countering him all night with his left hook until he hit him with that huge one causing Darchy to stumble and never get back. And that is his trademark left hook that up to this day, can still knockout anyone even Moloney if he touches him with that power.

Donaire is not at the level of Pacquiao and it didn't give justice if you compare their capabilities. But its undeniable that Donaire is strong even if he is already old but I think he has the advantage with this fight since looking if we look at the last fight of Moloney his bit slow and Donaire's counter punch is a huge advantage for him to defeat Moloney on this match. Provably Donaire will be the top choice of people to bet since they know how this guy play well on the ring.
1118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 25, 2023, 11:10:05 PM
I see how many people are trying to promote bitcoins in their own way, I am moved and decided that this year, I will play my part in the most little way possible even if I am still a new member here and to bitcoins.

It took me some time to be able to think of something that I could do that will not cost me too much money since I do not have so much of that, and also something that will not require me to talk to people directly because I can get shy.

I decided to get stickers that I intend to distribute among transporters to put in their vehicles and tricycles, and also to put them in places that people can easily see.

I will appreciate someone help preview the post so my stickers can be seen.

Maybe change the message about bitcoin can give freedom since this might mislead people and think about this stickers is all about mlm then this discourage people look or even participate on what you want to show to the public. Much better if you put educational message since maybe this could attract some peoples attention to do research about it.
1119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 25, 2023, 11:48:41 AM
This might be the time for Roobet to also sponsor a football club like some of the other big casinos which sponsor several football clubs in the English premier league and also other leagues that exist and are quite popular, football has a larger fan base than any other type of sport this can make roobet knows better but also needs bigger funds to do this sponsorship.
Maybe the reason why Roobet is more focus on MMA and boxing is the Roobet's mascot is a kangaroo which one of powerful animal. But yeah there's nothing wrong to become a sponsor in football club or just the football player, it's really a great achievement if Roobet can reach Messi or Ronaldo become their brand ambassador. Roobet shouldn't waiting to long too because when the football club or the football player already become an another casino's brand ambassador, usually they can't promote the other competitor site (gambling).

Kangaroos are famous for boxing Cheesy Is Roobet a sponsor of any boxing promotions or boxers? Never heard of that. Would be cool of we see Roobets mascot in boxing gloves on boxing banners during pre-post fight conferences or weigh-ins.

Boxing is where money are. I am sure that it will cost millions to become a sponsor or place a banner on the ring. But, we see that Roobet has top athletes among their ambassadors, so I think it is possible to see one day Roobet during major boxing fights.

So far stake is the one who's active participating on boxing scene and we can see their logo on big fights so it will also be good if Roobet will venture on this kind of promotion since this could expand their clients globally. For sure they also consider this but maybe they are settling on how much they could spend with this since running this plan cost a lot of money but I believe its worth to try since the awareness is great especially if your logo is present on big events.
1120  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 25, 2023, 10:33:15 AM
Unfortunately, napakadaming pinoy scammers ang nagkakalat ngayon. Even outside the cryptocurrency sphere, ang daming mga Filipinos who take advantage of the online set-up in order to get a quick buck. Not to mention, with the creation of new blockchain projects, mas lalong lumalala yung stigma especially if gawa ito ng isang Filipino.

Though some might argue din naman na involve din ang foreigners dito, pero mga ganito kase na bagay mas lalong nagiging prominent sa bansa. I remember ang daming blockchain projects that were created tapos nagiging invest-to-play sila. Tapos after a year or even less a year of operations, biglang mag pupull-out na sila.
