Reasons you will remain broke as an adult:

Well maybe buying stocks before a 1929 style bear market...
Short but precise. Not only when it comes to handling investments, but also in how we handle our own life. If we never accept changes and adopt it, then we will always be left behind and would gain nothing but mistakes and losses. Always be open minded, and always chase opportunities that will make your life profitable. Sooner or later, you will have a better life because you never stop doing the right thing.

Simple reason why people still broke its because people don't want to leave on their comfort zone because they are afraid to leave what currently they have that benefiting them. They are afraid to try things because they don't know know if they can make it without trying them, if many of us will just have proper education about trying all things that we can especially on opportunity hunting for sure many people can enhance their current life style.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 05, 2022, 12:19:55 PM
^

The first thing to understand is that earning in gambling on a permanent basis few people get. Of course you may be lucky and you will win a large sum, but the probability of such an event is negligible. It is necessary to perceive a loss as a payment for the game and then gambling will bring pleasure. You pay for a ticket to an amusement park, a movie or a ride on public transport, the same rules apply to the casino - pay money.
yes sometimes luck will not always be on our side every time, always be a person who is not greedy too, all return to their respective goals in gambling, I think to use free money looking for fun in gambling is something safer than losing money if experience defeat, so enjoying it is just for fun nothing more

the thing about luck is that we should be grateful when it comes but we shouldn't have to rely on it to succeed
always better to have a plan that doesn't need to count on luck

you are right about not being greedy too
managing emotions is a must

Expecting to much on something not usual to come is sometimes bad since this will create to much expectation which could also lead to disastrous incident on a day. That's why we should never try to extend our game time chasing for luck to come since we will experience a truly bad day in gambling if we lose a huge amount of money and this is truly stressful especially for the beginners. Not being greedy is totally fine and must think about by the people so that they could enjoy the game and have fun with it.
1383  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 05, 2022, 10:40:11 AM
Running a business during the bear market is as difficult as it gets. I am not saying that it will be something that will be profitable, or it has to be a loss, it could be either based on how you manage it. But, the best thing to do would be making sure that even if you are not making a profit, you have enough saved aside to go on and wait until the bull run comes again.

That means you could make insane returns during the bull run, and if you save that aside, then you could maybe wait for a year or two until you make that type of profit again. Their campaigns here are amazing, or were amazing at least, and I am sure it will come back with time.
I don't think there's huge difference for running a casino in bear market or bull market because they're get profit based on coins equivalent, not USD equivalent. Unlike lending or staking sites where you lock your coins and get interest after leave for few months, bear market will affect their performance since they need to find a way to pay the interest.

I'd say bear market will make them get benefit since gamblers will try to gamble more in order to get profit from bear market and the fees is much lower due to the network aren't busy.

The only difference is the value of their reserve crypto balances but any other than that there's no difference since the payouts or profit in crypto form still 1:1 ratio so there's nothing to worry about with that since successful casino like Roobet still gaining profit whatever market situation we are on. And for sure if bull run came they will get more profit since for sure the volume of bets will increase and that is good for them if they accumulate more coming from their bettors.
1384  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 04, 2022, 11:26:00 PM

Analysts at crypto intelligence firm IntoTheCryptoverse evaluated the Bitcoin price trend

Lol really?

This guy that's quoted there as "an analyst from a crypto intelligence firm" Benjamin Cowen is a youtuber who started making videos about bitcoin somewhere in 2019. The guy hasn't even been through a single bitcoin bear market and they're making articles about his bearish predictions, comparing him to people like Kiyosaki. Not saying that Kiyosaki has to be right and Cowen wrong, just that any idiot can make a bearish prediction in a bear market and it's especially easy when you're a youtuber who gets money regardless of whether he's right or not.

People easily believe on what famous people claims without doing any background checking maybe they became famous because they creating videos about it but it doesn't mean that they are expert and they are 100% accurate on their claims. Maybe they are good at forex if they are used to trade in thus area but crypto and forex is totally different so the analysis given by them is different, so we shouldn't get hype or fud on any statement since as other user stated anyone can give their own predictions either its bullish or bearish.
1386  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: October 04, 2022, 09:42:30 AM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑

How can you earn from crypto if you have no skills?

Yes, you can invest in bitcoin and wait for the prices to rise but for that, you need to have a lot of capital. Many young people do not have much money to invest in bitcoin and the only way for them to earn from bitcoin is to do some skillful work and get bitcoin or convert the fait into bitcoins. In both cases, you need to have skills in order to earn bitcoins. Without skills, there is no way to earn money as no one will give you free money or free crypto.

This is the easiest way for newbie to do but actually the most stressful to since imagine how bad the market go thru before we can see something bullish. And mainstream media sometimes create fuds so I guess those people who's new and doesn't have any skill will just feel crazy about seeing there money melting like an ice and for sure they will dump it for thinking that they can minimize the damage taken. That's why we really need to have skills on everything so that we can take any action on what things we need to do nor can easily do the task what we supposed to be needed to take action.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think this is gambling? [Collectibles & Gambling] on: October 03, 2022, 09:42:04 PM
Nope that's not gambling but rather a hobby. Maybe there are scene that some of the collector open a pack then hoping to get a rare cards which have huge value but that doesn't mean we can categorize it as a gambling. People who are in this industry is just having fun since this create different vibes to them and for sure those collectors only can feel what they are into because for other people who don't understand what they are doing will just threat this as waste of money time and think about they are gambling.
1388  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa with so much endowed natural resources but remains the poorest. Solutions on: October 03, 2022, 10:42:19 AM
It's not only the West exploiting your natural resources. You also have China setting up debt traps and your politicians wholly accepting it for their own personal gain. The youth needs to stand up against your corrupt politicians and start making moves to remove these guys from the office. Africans are selling Africa to other nations, let's face it. The colonial powers and China are extracting every resource they can from your continent because your leaders allow them to do so. If you want Africa to prosper, stop choosing the same people and putting them in the office then maybe you'll have a head start.

The selling of resources is a fake problem. The real problem is the lack of education. If education would be at high levels then there would be more factories and enterprises that would help selling everything with a significant added value.
There are too few countries that improve their citizens' life for real with money from selling the resources. On the other hand, if a certain level of education is reached, people can earn better and can also elect smarter government.

I do agree with this since some of those politician doesn't want their citizens to be literate because their illegal actions will easily get caught if many of their citizens will be more educated. Maybe the only solution on this is to destroy the existing tradition of bad politician and people insert those deserving leaders which aim true country growth because if people will still believe on flowery words without action there country will remain poor even though they have things that can help their country to get out on poverty line.

Thanks for all the kind comments but i really don’t deserve them. Karl deserves the credit for running these competitions.
I’m not really an ETH guy, so very lucky there. Thanks to Karl for running that as it’s what the community asked for.

There is a lot of luck involved but you have to be entered to win. Can’t win the lottery without buying a ticket.

It will be a miracle if I was to win the next competition Karl runs so just keep entering them & you too could be lucky.

Good luck.

Both of you deserve some good recognition since first you are helping up the community plus your skills upon doing technical analysis is truly amazing so for sure many of us will keep looking up to your upcoming predictions. Since for now you are the meta since winning two times in a row is quite outstanding.

If you win three times in a row then this will be the highlight of the contest again and for sure more people will get challenge and try more harder to enhance their analysis for next round.
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 02, 2022, 10:48:58 PM
Actually, from this decline there are many factors starting from the global recession, inflation, due to the Ukrainian and Russian wars, there are still many others including FUD news that makes them panic so they sell their Bitcoin assets to the market, so keep it up if it has been invested and have high hopes of course there is a higher price ahead, but don't expect it in the near future, it usually takes us 4 years to see the price above $100k (according to many speculations)
Many factors cause the decline in BTC price, but whatever it is we must take advantage of the conditions to make gradual investments for the lowest price, I have repeatedly updated my portfolio every time BTC reaches the lowest price, I have experience several years ago that I have missed several times golden opportunity to collect more investment at the lowest price, so this year I will get it for long term investment.

To many opportunities that we miss but all of it is totally fine because from those events we also learn that bitcoin is not easy to go around and sustainable. Although we find those things as total waste of opportunity because we can provably earn if we take action but still we don't know what will happen so those things are learning experience to us. If we can able to handle the risk these days then can able to hold this might be the good time to do so since market didn't recover yet.
1391  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: October 02, 2022, 02:54:03 PM
Omsim! Dapat talaga ganto mindset natin kung papasok tayo sa kahit anong klaseng investment mapa-crypto o hindi as long as kumita tayo, no need na mag-doubt o mag-isip ng malalim dahil profit is profit unlike sa iba na nalugi especially yung mga late na nakapasok or yung mga sumabay sa hype at naiwan na lang bigla.

Sang-ayon din ako sa ganitong mind set.  As  long as my profit na tayo sa pagbenta ng hawak nating cryptocurrency, dapat maging kuntento na tayo.  In the first place, pinlano naman nating makapagbenta on the said amount.

For sure many will wait for his prediction to be dropped since so far @LFC_bitcoin is legend since he won for 2 streak in a row.
I guess for the next competitions, I will follow @LFC_bitcoin predictions but you should keep quiet and not tell everyone lol Grin

I am just joking, hehe Grin

But I admit that he did pretty good at predicting the price and not many people could predict as good as him. I hope he will open a thread to share his tutorial predicting the price Wink

Hard to win for second time in same contest so meaning skills upon doing technical analysis nor past experience really matter here since it shows how good you are dropping your well observe prediction and guess it really work for @LFC_Bitcoin at this time. So people plan to join on the same contest held by bitcasino should do charting or even follow the news since this could help them better prediction.
1393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My thoughts and now my experience. on: September 30, 2022, 10:03:52 AM
Your last line was amazing and it's the reality in crypto world. If you want to earn without learning properly you may fall into a risk and lose funds. We should have much knowledge about crypto before planning to earn.

I'd even go as far into saying that it will be almost guaranteed to happen. Even if you're already well versed with the cryptocurrency markets, the risk of losing money is still quite high.
Unfortunately, losses will always be inevitable in crypto, regardless of how high your experiences are. Good thing is every losses comes with a great lesson too, so we should still look at it with positivity. However, knowing that crypto is highly risky, then we should exert more effort to DYOR as it’s the best way to lessen the risk  and increase the chance to earn profits.

Realization is big factor for us to learn something from the mistake we do before we lose our money. And even if you are veteran on the industry still you are prone to lose because at the end no one can really actually point out accurately what will happen but for sure for the events goes and we meet it again for sure we can counter those loses and think about good things that can help us to earn or recover.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: September 30, 2022, 07:58:37 AM
When many people panic, that's usually where the market will rise, and vice versa, it's better for you to buy back instead of selling ETH at a loss, because basically ETH has been successful through a merger and maybe in the near future the market will be bullish starting with rise in the price of ETH.

Maybe in some cases after whales accumulate but what mostly happen is dumping state since for sure many people will sell their stuff and only few will buy due to current scary scenario happening. But its undeniable that there's a recovery so best to follow some big social media sites which focus to give crypto news since maybe from there we can get an idea if the whales is starting to hype ETH or maybe even the other alts.

The game between Ginebra and ROS is very surprising, there's no way Ginebra will be able to come back in this game.

ROS now is leading the game with 49-72, and it seemed like Brownlee has been struggling with only 14 points so far.
I'm sure everyone has put their bet on Ginebra, but sorry guys, it's an upset tonight.
This is quiet disappointed, I guess they still need to do more practice and play well with their import it looks like a first game jitters.
Kudos to ROS for playing all out and Ginebra is not an easy team to beat and yet they are able to do so. I can say that this commissioners cup is really exciting with full of surprises. Too early to say but I still believe GInebra will bounce back this conference, let's see if they can adjust on their next game.

ROS did bounce back hard with a big win, I like what they did, they look inspired this season, probably because they have their old coach back again and for sure coach Yeng is very serious in trying to win another championship again, but the question is, can they stay consistent?
Seeing an independent team defeating either a SMC or MVP team makes me happy Smiley.
Well, Ginebra fans might say that "It's their first game and the chemistry around the players isn't there still since they got new players". It might be true so let's see on their next game now that they already had one game to test their "chemistry".

ROS is an independent team, but they have a very good line up. An import who can pass and at the same time take over offensively, bigs who can shoot threes efficiently and they have a good captain in Belga. With a very experienced coach like coach Yeng, I hope that ROS will come back and play in the playoffs like what they are a few years ago. I will watch ROS games now for sure.

As well as a good coaching staff which cannot be controlled by then so seeing how they win to ginebra us really great achievement to have. But its early to celebrate yet since there are many changes that we could see and I will be more happy if I could see an independent team vs smc or mvp team since we might see an unbiased game for that match up.

1397  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pulsuhan niyo naman ito: Boracay, binabalak na gawing Crypto-Island on: September 29, 2022, 08:51:34 AM
Wag lang sana tayo maging ganito:

https://www.newsbtc.com/news/bank-indonesia-team-police-clampdown-bali-bitcoin-transactions/

Maganda yung adoption medyo nakakadoubt lang sa implementation pero hopefully hinde tayo matulad sa nangyari sa Bali, panigurado BSP is already working for the regulations which can protect many businesses and individuals.

1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: September 28, 2022, 01:44:14 PM
But whatever it is, both of them are very lucky because they have a lot of money but let's imagine if they don't have much money, what will happen?
Can't imagine, can only lament the fate of accepting reality.
For this reason it is not advisable to show gambling habits to children, because there will be more tragic things that can lead to them in criminal cases if the parents do not have the money to pay the arrears of their children.
Gambling habits favored by parents should be kept secret from their children, they should not follow the habits of their parents when they were teenagers, because it would make the children's future even more bleak.

Kids are more prone to huge risk because they are one who can easily get fooled by uncertain things they see on internet that's why exposing them on gambling activities at early stage is dangerous to them because they might do the things we can't imagine like stealing someones money or do other un wanted favors just earn money. So its better to hide our activities as long as we can but if we cannot do it as they discover this by their selves then proper guidance is needed so that they will not step on wrong expectations about this things.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Passive income of 15% per annum in USDT and USDC on: September 28, 2022, 12:10:15 PM
There is an idea and opportunity for realization of cryptocurrency bank, which will allow investors to receive 15% per annum in USDT and USDC.
For a deposit of 1 month, the investor will receive 1.25% of the deposit amount (taking into account compound interest, we obtain more than 16% per annum, if you reinvest the profits).
I want to understand how interesting it is? Perhaps there are better suggestions?
I would be grateful for any thoughts, ideas and questions to better evaluate the idea.

Its quite intriguing to see how big there offer to their depositor but anything offer beyond to what we expect is bit shady since somehow there are scammers use this as bait so that they can scam their prospects. So you need to be more careful upon participating on that since I would rather trust binance because they are much trusted compare to any random site who offers the same like and yet they don't have any reputation which we can rely on.

PBA really making a huge noise a lot of drama to gather attentions maybe they are trying anything to gain those interests from the viewers. They are following the saying that even negative publicity is still a publicity, hahaha Grin Roll Eyes kidding aside, My personal take on that note is very possible, PBA is controlled by SMC and MVP they can simply request for that schedule to see how the visiting team play and scout them to make sure that they are well prepared before they met.

If this issue will be proven, surely the interest of those possible additional visiting teams will be lesser. They might not take that effort to join with the league that fully manipulated.

I'm also thinking, what if we will change the commissioner? Will something change to how PBA is right now?

Calling about changing the coach of Gilas didn't work because they still choose Chot Reyes eventhough there's is an overwhelming calling for him to resign but the SBP official didn't listen to what fans chant or request. How much more with the commissioner? Where they are much benefiting on it for sure that guy will stay long on PBA because he always follow the order of big companies on the league. PBA need a total revamp since if they keep doing those unfair trades then for sure they can see huge drop of people's interest to watch their league.
