1641  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a global economic recession affect Bitcoin's price? on: June 27, 2022, 10:00:07 PM
There have been talks among experts of a global economic recession taking place soon. The COVID-19 pandemic, the persisting Russia-Ukraine crisis, and several other factors will lead us there faster than you could imagine. Considering that the US Dollar is the world's reserve currency, anything that affects its value (inflation) will have a chain effect over other countries' economies as well. Now this could have profound effects over Bitcoin's price within the short term, as the crypto market "mimics" equity/stocks market's behavior. It's most probably Bitcoin will decline well below $10k, as the global economy comes to a halt. Or things could head in the other direction, leading Bitcoin towards new All-time-highs. The pioneer cryptocurrency has often been hailed as a "safe haven", so it should be able to serve as an alternative to Fiat during times of crisis.

What are your thoughts? Huh

On the contrary, bitcoin should flourish during a global recession. It doesn't matter whether bitcoin will be considered as a safe heaven or not, but the falling value of fiat currencies may drive up the price if the demand stays strong. But a recession is unpredictable so anything can happen in reality. But if I have to speculate, I will bet on positive outcome for crypto during a global recession.

If all people in the world are open up on crypto and they see this as more quality currency to accumulate in times of recession then most provably we can see positive things on it in terms of crisis. But if people are still afraid because of its high volatility also people doesn't trust it maybe we can see this one fail and dump the same with some other fiat currency.

If we talk about safe haven maybe it will take a long time for bitcoin to reached at this point.

1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 11:15:20 AM
I saw the news from the GSW management that they'll do everything just to keep Poole and Wiggins. This is a nice step because we've seen how these two added great contribution to the team.

As said, it is what they're prioritizing right now so these two can count on the management and they'll be kept for their upcoming contracts. This is a huge contract for the two and I've forgot the other one which if we will combine the three of them, GSW will cost them $500M+.

Yes, they have built another championship caliber, they are called the "death squad' now, with the core + Wiggins and Poole. However, they will be over, and with the huge spending, so not sure how they can keep up with that.

Scottie Pippen Proud Of Son Scotty Pippen Jr. After Signing Two-Way Contract With Lakers.

So second generation of Pippen coming into the Lakers next season. So we will see how good the kid is compare to his father.

We cannot expect much about it because he's not drafted on NBA so meaning he need to improve more so that he became something big in NBA. But knowing lakers and Lebron want's fast process maybe he still cannot get decent minutes on lakers knowing that this team still have good players.

But let see how they improve their skills because somehow people keep looking for their performance to provide on their respective team.

1646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Cold Hard Facts Prove Bitcoin Rejoin Is A Scam! on: June 24, 2022, 09:30:11 PM
The keyword ‘Bitcoin Rejoin’ has risen recently as a new way to trade crypto passively.

When searching on the Internet, you may come across its different versions.

One may claim its advantage of using AI Algorithm to trade BTC, which can grow from 250 USD to 1 million USD in a short amount of time.

Others may introduce its automated trading system that will join CFD system in the future.

They would look different in domain name (URL), logo, and site appearance, but they all ask for the same exact initial deposit of 250 USD. Why is that? Why Bitcoin Rejoin is a Scam?

Read our article: What is Bitcoin Rejoin? 3 Cold Hard Facts

People need to understand that trading bots is there to automate your trading task and its not created to give you guaranteed profit and if someone offer a passive profit especially a huge amount offer in return of your investment is a pure scam. This is common methods use by scammer and that Bitcoin Rejoin is another classic scamming scheme which is again used by fraud ms to scam newbie investors.
1647  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 24, 2022, 02:55:26 PM
If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?

This will always matter on how reputable they, reputation is much important since if they off bonuses without KYC requirements but their reputation is bit off due to some running accusation on them then I will go to a casino which have KYC without any extra rewards.

Extra rewards is just a bonus and the more important thing there is we enjoy what we play without worrying about things that might put us in harm situation since there are so many scam casino exist everywhere.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 24, 2022, 01:35:57 PM

Right now NBA Draft Paolo Banchero was the number 1 pick by the Orlando Magic, while Jabari Smith was the 3rd pick by the Houston Rockets, and right now I feel sad because our full-blown Filipino player Kai Sotto was undrafted, but still, I think he can surely train harder and aim for it next season,

Well, he is not on the top list of players that would be drafted so I'm not surprised. Though we are hopeful that he will get drafted, but we have to accept the reality, yes, there's always a next season, all he has to do is to improved himself and try to be a dominant center, he is still young so there's still plenty of opportunity for him.

Yes Indeed, and I really wish this will not going to be an upset for him but could be a Rekindled fire that will ignite to put the effort to be 1st on the list, right now Bronny James is struggling aswell, there is always a next time for both kids, making a big leap in their rankings because I would like to see a full Blown Filipino Playing in the NBA and the Tandem on Lebron and Bronny well kind of curious what can happen but yeah Kai Sotto still has a ceiling he can fill, I think he needs to increase in speed and gained more muscle for the next draft,

I think there are NBA players who are undrafted but made their way to the NBA, and they even get popular.

Some of the players I know are Luka Doncic and Jeremy Lin, they made their name and now actively Luka already has superstar status.
Therefore Kai Sotto should not loss his hope, the time will come for him as long as he continue to pursue his dreams.
This is so true he has a lot of talent no doubt, maybe the NBA scouts still thinks that he is raw and need more development or maybe he will go undrafted after all. It make a big fuss in the Philippines because he was supposed to be the first full blooded Filipino to join. And there are also other Asians if I'm not mistaken, out is South Korean (if my memory serves me right). Nevertheless, he can still pursue his dreams to become an NBA player.

His performance shown on 36ers is not enough to lift up his portfolio, also his private workouts didn't went well so its kinda expected that Kai will became undrafted this season. But actually GSW can draft him for marketing purposes Kai is so hype to the audience and for sure it convert to more sales as well in other type of promotion which can bring $ to their organization. They don't need to rebuild anymore since they are a strong team already and the only thing they need to do is to develop him. But everything is done so better luck next time for this young guy so hopefully he bounce back after this failure.
1649  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE TESLA Coin ICO on: June 24, 2022, 11:44:40 AM
I try to look at in: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tesla/, fortunately, fake Tesla coins are not listed on any trading exchange, this is a real warning, for crypto investors or users, be careful with new coins what else in the name of Tesla, Elon and so on.
Actually there is a list on coinmarketcap but that one is for a legit stock share I guess since its Elon whom related to crypto due to dogecoin. I wonder why coinmarketcap listed it there probably another hype on crypto peeps for them to get more marketing. Especially Cz owns cmc which is likely a close friend of Elon Musk. Pretty easy to mistakenly input that there out of friendship.

They don't have proper scanning on which is scam and which is not so I think Coinmarketcap really need to fix this because scammers are using their platform to make their project legitimate then scam innocent investors. Also Elon Musk is a famous guys so obviously every investor could verify easily about this scam tesla ICO since for sure if this is owned legitimately by Elon Musk they can see it promoted on his legitimate social media handles.
1650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 10:19:18 AM
After reading this article, I thought about starting to use an Ethereum Casinos. What do you think about this?
https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/btc-eth-casinos
P.S. There is no casino advertising in the article.

If you like ETH based casino then be it that's your personal choice and everyone have different likes and dislikes but since almost everyone here start with BTC casino for sure many still use BTC as mode of payment upon depositing. Also as we can see we are dominated by BTC based casino and ETH is been alternative given to their users since not everyone can handle the transaction fees when network is so congested on bitcoin network.
1651  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: June 23, 2022, 11:56:03 PM

Yes, SLP is the problem here since P2E ito and kung ganyan den kaliit ang kikitain, most probably hinde na bumalik yung ibang players. Though if AXS and ibigay nila for the reward siguro maging ok pa ito kase at least limited supply diba pero considering the number of players before, baka maubos lang agad ang supply at baka lalo magkaproblema.

Pero since working pa sila for more upgrades siguro makakahanap at makakahanap din yan ng paraan since well funded naman ang mavis team.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 23, 2022, 02:04:09 PM
I think governments encouraging online casinos is definitely good thing. As we all know (and even hate) they can tax the shit out of it and its very easy money - no gambler ever would care a lot. But I do not think it can be efficient. Private businesses always will take care of their property far better, and workers would be more efficient. I think minor government regulation is enough, governments should not own casinos.

Good in terms on business side because they can get revenue out of it and this is somehow important since there are crisis happening and this is temporarily good option for them to get money from running healthy businesses.

But goverment need to take action towards addiction because if they didn't do anything about this most provably we can see more life will be destroyed because of this risky form of entertainment.
1653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another 5000 Miner BTC Sent To Binance- another dip? on: June 23, 2022, 12:08:55 PM
This is not the first time that bitcoin miners have been shifting their holdings to exchanges and selling them off when the market has been dumping. According to the CrytoQuant chart, 5000 BTC was recently sent to Binance. Could it be the expensive production costs? I am aware that prices for taxes and electricity have recently increased dramatically. But there could be other reasons right?

The market appears to be controlled by a small group of people, which is the opposite of what bitcoin was about. However, this is the most perilous and terrifying bearish market I've seen since I invested in cryptocurrencies. Whales never cease selling their assets on exchanges. Everywhere sells panic.

Since it was first created, Bitcoin has repeatedly died a thousand times, but it has continued to exist. Will there be another round of "Bitcoin is dead" propaganda from the government and gold holders?

If we just only based on this kind of scenario where some of the miners sell then provably we will see a dumped because people might get Fud on the actions made by them, but this really doesn't give much effect and I believe miners do this frequently so if there's something bearish season gonna happen I think this is made up by some manipulation attempts and not with the miners selling some of their stash.
1654  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake accusations/feedback by yahoo62278 on: June 23, 2022, 10:39:53 AM
Hello, I am offering a service where I am hiring people and first of all people are calling me out for being a scammer with absolutely no evidence or idea of what I am even offering as I am providing the details of the task to only people interested in doing the task/assignment. They have no idea what the service even entails or what I am even offering, but they somehow seem to have come to the conclusion that I’m a scammer and scamming people. These are completely fake accusations with no basis for the claims.

There is a trusted user, yahoo62278, who has left me negative feedback with these fake accusations on my profile and that will affect my business I do on this forum in the future. His judgement, analyzation, and review of scammers is way off and incorrect as I am not scamming anyone and I am sure his judgements and accusations have been way off for other people as well. His feedback will affect the business I do on this forum, especially because he is a trusted member and it shows up very clear on my profile. There is absolutely zero evidence and they are baseless and incorrect claims.

Here is the thread on the assignment I am hiring people to do - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5403151.msg60399496#msg60399496

Your ask tasked is so shady so expect that yahoo or other forum member will question about your intention and also you refused to used escrow so what can you expect about that? Your actions is a big red flag so maybe if you are damn serious about hiring people and make some assignments then do what people ask you to do and most importantly grab a trusted escrow to hold the funds so that it will create assurance and fairness to the people who will take that job if there is.
1655  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 22, 2022, 10:23:24 PM
I understand that everyone wants to play with the least amount of data possible, it is logical that many do not want to give their KYC, because they think that in some way this data may be vulnerable to attacks on the casino and may be lost, but it should be noted that Robbet It has great security, in addition Hhampuz gives them exclusive financial advice according to their experience (which is quite a lot) and this gives security and confidence to anyone, in addition there are some licenses that require that after a certain level it is required to request KYC, this not only to know the data or to annoy the player, but also to protect the player himself, these are the things that we must see.
That is not really a shocking thing to learn about people. "Oh they do not prefer to give their KYC, what a shocking result!" is not really a thing roobet said, they knew this. So, roobet did this even while knowing that people would dislike it and that is fine, they knew they would lose "some" customers because of this, but that didn't change the fact that people would love it as much as they possibly could, and that is the reason we have this situation.

This is why I believe that we should not be really doing anything special for the time being towards roobet and force them to change it, they know what they are doing and people who accept it should stay, and people who do not want to, should leave and we can move on.

Actually what makes this useful is they are making their casino away from frauds like money laundering because they make their casino free from money laundering because for sure those bad guys will not try to use this platform while it ask for their personal identity. And we see that they comply on things as well they are reputable so for people still doubting maybe they can consider to see some positive sides brought by KYC ask to them by Roobet.
1656  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: June 22, 2022, 02:19:22 PM
Of course, there are many strategies when it's bearish like today, and when it's a bear market what I do is buy a lot of coins because I'm sure the market will run a bull run soon, don't panic by selling all assets because it makes us regret.

Depends on the coin since not all of them doing good but if you spot some coins that fasterly recovers once the market is doing  its best shape. But its good to try especially you are not putting your money in one basket so there's a high chance for recovery something bad happen in some coins you bought.
1657  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: June 22, 2022, 12:36:00 PM
So it seems to me that people will not like gambling from Telegram Group very much. There will be many scammers here and they will be stigmatized.People will play betting from the original betting site. Telegram Group People don't think perfect for gambling. If you have a strong desire to run a betting site then you will launch your own betting site by creating a very beautiful betting site and gaining popularity there. But of course you have to gain popularity with honesty.
It is possible to create telegram group with the useful information, but there is a huge quantity of the same groups and the most part of them are scammers. They are about pump/dump groups, where always there is one winner - the group admin. It is possible to get some useful information there, but it is dangerous to follow their advises.
I don't think any telegram group is needed to gamble or get any kind of direction.  Where there is a forum like Bitcointalk. There is a lot of gambling in this forum.  And there are a lot of topics open here that are going to take direction on gambling.  And if you want, you can create a topic here.  That's what you want to know.  So why  need to create a shit telegram group?

Bitcointalk is already enough for us gamblers to discuss things about what we are doing and get some updates towards the casino we are playing to and its more safer for newbies to go with because they can get more valid information from legitimate users who share their tactics and experiences upon their game time.

Telegram group is just used by some people thinking that they can earn more money to their members.

1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 21, 2022, 09:56:07 PM
So what really happen with Calvin Abueva?

The words JAPAN! JAPAN! JAPAN! and BYE PBA! that's big, is here serious with that, and will soon leave the PBA for JAPAN?

He was really frustrated because he thought there should be no call, but the words coming from his mouth, it simply tells that he is not 100% happy playing with the PBA.

That was just a burst of emotion after he was called for his second technical foul which led to him being ejected from the game.

There is a news article now saying that Calvin Abueva is suspended by one game and fined 10k Php for that outrage hehe, does he deserve that suspension?

Maybe playing in Japan will earn him more money but it is just different when you are playing at home and near to your family which I think some of the players are thinking is why some of them did not pursue their Japan journey.
.

If Calvin wants to join in Japan B-league then one thing I can say that's a good choice joining that league for sure you gain more advantages first the salary which is if you have a practical mindset you will choose the high-value amount of salary, second is that joining this kind of league will make you more veteran cause you've encountered many veteran players which you must be smarter and better than them to prove that you will be a star. But besides that advantages, there's a disadvantage as well and that's the reason why some players choose PBA over another league, for now let's wait for the final announcement by the PBA and also from calvin.

He say before when he get suspended on PBA that he want to comeback because he need money for his family so if there's an offer for him on B-League for sure Calvin would accept that offer. The salary on japan is so huge compare on PBA and he's not young anymore so getting more money while his still can play is the best choice for him.
