1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen If Bitcoin got stabled ? on: September 27, 2022, 01:16:58 PM
If Bitcoin got stable there will be no huge inflection. This will stable almost all coins. And there will be no huge up and down. All the top coins will not depend on Bitcoin.
Whenever Bitcoin got stabled, All the market will be stable in a result of that.
Question is that how Bitcoin can be stable?  If it got stabled that will happen?

Then it will be turn the almost same as USDT/USD where people look at it as maybe there safe heaven in battle with market volatility. But as other said this is not design to bitcoin also this will never happen to bitcoin since I'm sure many people don't want that to happen as they could lose a lot of profit coming from it from trading this coin. But lets still see on what will happen if full adoption will happen on it since this will be another story to the Bitcoin.

Aside from that award-related issues regarding guest teams, there are speculations that PBA intentionally modified the schedule of the Bay Area Dragons to face first those teams that are not on the top tier. In that way, top-tier teams like SMB, Ginebra, or TNT can scout first the skills and talents of this guest team to fully prepare once they will now faced-off against the Dragons.

What's your take on that speculation guys? It does make sense or not? Smiley

-   It's possible that that speculation is true, because we know they will have a hard time beating the Bay area Dragons even if we say it's SMB, TNT or Ginebra. And I think they should prepare well for the Bay area dragons, because let's face it, the height and defense of the dragons is also very strong, so it can be said that it is not a joke that SMB and Ginebra collide.

So for me it is only right that they scout first to study the moves of each player of the Bay area dragons, so that they know the next step they will take when they face the Bay dragons again.

PBA really making a huge noise a lot of drama to gather attentions maybe they are trying anything to gain those interests from the viewers. They are following the saying that even negative publicity is still a publicity, hahaha Grin Roll Eyes kidding aside, My personal take on that note is very possible, PBA is controlled by SMC and MVP they can simply request for that schedule to see how the visiting team play and scout them to make sure that they are well prepared before they met.

If this issue will be proven, surely the interest of those possible additional visiting teams will be lesser. They might not take that effort to join with the league that fully manipulated.

But unfortunately they got all bashing from their supposed to be fans and people are losing interest to watch every game. We can feel it actually by their attendees also they are not gaining any sympathy towards the action they do because we all know that what's happening there is pure politics and only those big companies are benefiting while the independent ones are suffering. If they cannot change their system maybe for sure we can see the full collapsed of PBA and fans is starting to move on since there is MPBL which is I think the fans favorite at the moment since it represent the city not the company as what I read in the comments in social media.

Yeah, im pretty aware of that where even those bounty seekers specially on airdrops do really comply with KYC just to get those free coins which is totally insane and mind boggling on why the hell do end up with those considerations.I agree on what we are seeing on social media where most people do give out update on what they've been doing everyday but well its their choice on having that way but they
should really be at least concern in terms of privacy which might compromise their security if they are doing that on beyond borders.

It is not so mind boggling for me. A lot of people think that airdrops are really interesting and will give serious money and don't think twice when they need to submit their KYC. When I was new, I also needed to learn a lot of stuff but I never submitted KYC for a bounty or airdrop.
Yes some people think airdrop is worth to submit their information for kyc because of the possibility to earn from it, but majority of them are not aware of the risk for doing so. Moreover airdrop is not even a profitable way to earn a decent because it's free, often it's a waste of time since majority are just scam. Anyway, as much as possible it's best to protect your privacy and dont comply to kyc if the platform is not trusted, or even it's trusted always think twice if it is really necessary.

People do realize the risk when they already encounter an issue regarding on stolen identity but for now those people who doing so will just ignore about it since the one they think is they can earn on those airdrop nothing else more. And they are been hype by people who claim to be earning good profits on airdrop so most provably newbies will ignore the warnings about this issues.

On the other hand, it looks like Tolentino going to the NorthPort is really a good move because he and Bollick are the top scorers of team right now. If he will continue, Tolentino will be the one who help Bollick offensively and after a few years, SMC and MVP will try to get him "again". Ooops!! Tongue.

I think this team is not a farm team but they cannot just match the offer of big teams.

Well, they need to play harder, they have a good line up now, good import, and a good coach that has a play that would allow everyone to play. Tolentino is just a talented player, but since he is now with the Northport, he now has more opportunities to help his team win.

Unfortunately they are since they just wait for the player to ripe before they can harvest those young stars. Also I will not get surprised if Bollick will be out on North Porth and go to either on SMC or MVP group because this is what mostly happen to their stars recently. If PBA management will change their current structure maybe they can get back the interest of their fans since if they continue to make this actions and will not care the fans sentiment then provably the interest might shift to other league and for sure this will be the start of their fall down.

Bitcoin is dead.
bitcoin is not dead , bitcoin is so much alive and kicking .

Quote
If you buy Bitcoin in 40-60k and ethereum on 4k  than you are in bad place.
it is a normal pace mate, it is an investment and a volatile market so if you don't wanna deal with it then better never invest on it.

Quote
It can take 4 years only to achieve the same high of last bull run.
well it is a word against word, you called it dead but you gave it hope? yeah 4 years is the cycle indeed.

Its either he just want to see how people react on what he write about bitcoin is dead or he just want to troll people because he want to see people got pissed off towards what statement he says. So its better not to explain anything about bitcoin to those close minded people because whatever explanation you said still invalid to them since for sure they will not count your comments as valid points since they think he is right and you are wrong.

So let them sink what information they got because he surely not accept valid explanations.

Sa parehong article, sabi dito na may 120 businesses na ang tumatanggap ng Bitcoin as a form of payment sa Isla.

Sa pagkakaintindi ko sa article, mukhang hindi pa ata sila tumatanggap for now — nagsign up palang daw sila so probably pending palang.

Taking a look at screenshots of their app, mukhang wala silang buy/sell function. Not sure if ung mga businesses e gusto nilang i-hold ung BTC na matatanggap nila.

At tsaka medyo mahirap din to mangyari since for sure kunti lang may alam nito sa boracay.
1408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #LiveTheDream on: September 23, 2022, 01:42:06 PM
Agreed. Am not expecting BTC to get anywhere close to the $25K mark unless something big which favors cryptocurrencies happens soon.
The problem is there needs to be huge investment in bitcoin market to make some changes in the prices as the total market cap is near trillion dollars so you can just imagine how hard it is for prices to pump but a major news outbreak can shift the momentum and we can easily see 8-9% price pumps but having an eye on market that doesn't seems possible now so for me $25k is hard within 5 days.

5 days timeframe is actually hard for bitcoin to go over om $25k since that timeline is so fast to come and yet we don't have outstanding news to flip up the current condition to turn the phase to bullish condition. Maybe $22k is quietly possible figure in that timeline since this is more realistic sight to see on this existing market condition on bitcoin and this is not possible to reach at the moment.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone interested in trading for Pi? on: September 23, 2022, 10:41:15 AM
I’ve got around 1600 pi and am looking to trade for Litecoin or other coins. If interested send me a PM

Do you think there are people here will trade your worthless pi to litecoin? If you are been hype on what you see in social media where they post about getting wealthy if you participate on task or trading with pi then you cannot do it on coins with actual value. And those people who just hype you about pi is just taking advantage on newbie people so I strongly believe that no one will trade that coin to any top coins here.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 23, 2022, 08:00:00 AM
He is Liu Chuanxing, 7 foot 5 inches in height and he is there to make the life of June Mar miserable. Cheesy

I do not think June Mar can totally stop this guy alone if he decides to impose his dominance in the paint. June mar will need help from his teammates to be able to stop this guy. Luckily, basketball is a team sport so June Mar will not have to do it alone.

That would be a great matchup and for sure many fans are going too watch that when our very own Junemar Fajardo battles Liu Chuanxing. Offensively, Junemar will most likely struggle against this giant as we all know that he had problems operating inside the paint when his guard is taller than him, we have seen that when he is up against Slaughter but it is very interesting how he will adjust.

This is a huge test for Junemar to show his capabilities on more bigger opponent since if he can dominate that tall guy and his team can able to win then provably they will get all the praise coming from PBA fans. Although this is a tough match up to them but for sure they will be more challenge on this since this will totally give them good experience as a team.
1411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Suppose Bitcoin Price start to rise in 6 week to $30,000 -will you buy or sell ? on: September 22, 2022, 09:15:48 PM
Would anybody even know?

However I am sure that many of those who wanted to buy Bitcoin cheap wouldn't buy even at the current price. When Bitcoin reached $69,000, I am sure that a lot of people thought they came late. Many of them regretted those times when Bitcoin was $20,000 and they failed to buy. But now that the price has fallen all the way to $19,000, many wouldn't still buy because they're afraid it could fall even more. So to your question, it is possible that the buying of those who are fearful would be in the $30,000 to $40,000 range.
Those people which always want to buy at the best possible price are ironically the ones that get the worst price possible, they wait for the bottom to appear but once it does they are afraid of buying as they keep thinking about the possibility of the price of bitcoin going lower, so what do they do? They buy bitcoin once they are sure there is a positive trend, but once you can be sure of such thing most of the positive moment is already gone and you are buying your coins dangerously close to the ATH.

Normally this is how newbie people reacts towards certain actions happened on the market since they don't know nor have an idea if they going to have best position to buy or it will go more deeper. That's why they need to be more observant to each movement since this could being them good help once they want to know something valuable in future if certain the same condition happening again for another try on their trades.

Ayun dito, isang cryptowallet company named "Pouch" ang nagbabalak gawing Bitcoin Island ang Boracay.
Sa parehong article, sabi dito na may 120 businesses na ang tumatanggap ng Bitcoin as a form of payment sa Isla.

I am not from Visayas, so baka naman po may makapagvalidate ng info na to. TIA

1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 22, 2022, 10:29:54 AM
Pretty big.

I think there is a trend whereby more and more gambling ads are going to be banned around the world. In this particular case, the consequence may be that banned streamers may look for other means to continue working, but being online gambling addiction one of the fastest growing addictions and serious problems nowadays, I believe that regulations will tend to prohibit advertising it.
But as most crypto platforms including those specifically mentioned in its post are Curacao-licensed, it is clear that Twitch doesn't give much value to such licenses at least in terms of consumer protection.

Maybe twitch is just eliminating things which they think they don't need or have issues that's why they don't give to much weights on curacao registered based casino since they think that this is the nest of scammers. I think they are doing what they think right in terms of costumer protection since sometimes crypto casino streamers always hype up their viewers and spreading false information towards the casino they are promoting on.
1414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning From Trading Without Any Professional Knowledge on: September 21, 2022, 09:32:30 PM
I do want to know if it's possible for a starter to gainfully earn from Crypto trading without having to go through a professional training.

You don't need professional training to lear how to trade correctly since you can actually self study some strategies   and this is available on internet. There are also videos that can help you up to gather more knowledge about it so best to search them so that you can learn something useful, its just you need to spend more time researching and if you do or done with it for sure all your efforts will be rewarded since you can learn to do critical decision makings towards how the market goes in certain time frames.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 21, 2022, 11:48:47 AM

Wow, LA Clippers have a huge chance to be a champion this season, as long as John Wall will be healthy and he will still perform the way he used to when he was still with the Wizards, I think LA Clippers can make it to the NBA finals. I know we have the Warriors here, but I'm now rooting for a new team that is a great contender.
Hopefully, they stay healthy. I wonder if they will put John Wall into load management like they are doing with Kawhi. Wall is also prone to injury, so if they load manage him, they can prevent some serious injury. They are great team in paper, hopefully they can convert it in the court.

They can manage him for sure as the Clippers is a good team, and even their 2nd unit is very competitive, remember when Paul George was injured? No PG and Kawhi and yet the Clippers still remained competitive. I like the way they play as a team, to be honest, they are really good, and they'll get better once they are fully healthy.
Yes, they remained competitive and even made the playoff. But it's better if the two superstars are healthy so that we will see the full potential of this team. And now they have John Wall to boot, so it will be exciting how far they can get this year. So might see Kawhi on load management, but as long as they are going to winning and be in the top of the West, then it will do good in the long run and it might prevent him from being injured again.

Clippers is exciting to watch this season since they are truly strong with Wall's addition. So if they can make their selves healthy until the end of this season most provably we can see them competing on play offs or even in finals since they are much competitive line up this season. We just see if Kawhi and Wall can last without having an injury since there presence is truly important for their team success including George itself.
1416  Economy / Economics / Re: Going to war means let's ulter the economic progression on: September 21, 2022, 08:26:10 AM
No economic movement on countries affected equals a total economic disturbance to the countries affected this is why government should think more harder because this decision will not really create any huge benefits to them and its just a waste of human lives and resources since for sure on this current state where many countries form an alliance for sure those country initiate a war will be put more on huge economical decline.
1417  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #LiveTheDream on: September 20, 2022, 10:24:12 PM
The market is now moving below it due to the FED fear but I believe that the price will still go at that price level again once the price starts to a have a minor recovery.

So yeah that 20K level seems lime a pegging price point for Bitcoin.
BTC keeps moving sideways as usual thanks to worldwide economic concerns and I expect it to continue trading sideways for some more time until the global economy recovers in a big way.

Events happening to the world always been correlated with bitcoin dominance by many investor so I also expect that bitcoin will continue to drop while this threats still occur. And there's no clear indication yet on when we can see some green light so most provably btc sentiments will be negative for a while due to this events.

Source: https://coinpedia.org/crypto-live-news/cryptocurrency-wallet-provider-pouch-to-turn-philippines-resort-into-bitcoin-island/

When I saw this news for the first time coming from a crypto friend of mine, it was really mind blowing. The adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the Philippines has taken to a whole new level in which a Philippines resort may be turning into a “Bitcoin island” by a crypto wallet provider.

What are your thoughts about this one guys especially Filipinos here on this forum? Would love to hearing some feedback, reactions or opinion from you all here.

Thanks in advance!

For sure there's something huge brought by NFT and it awakes the curiosity of the people to participate then earn in the world of crypto. And for seeing this posted by media for sure this could create more noise to the government so that they will do something good on it terms of regulation.

For now this is good news but for sure BIR is now looking at this statistic and I will not get surprise if they came and ask about taxes on it.
1419  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: September 20, 2022, 11:58:57 AM

1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 19, 2022, 11:49:40 PM
In order to understand the psychology of gamblers, i have decided to come up few questions for discussions, and here is the first one.

Suppose that you are a responsible gambler who have allocated a certain portion of money to gamble each month. Now you came across a poor person/family who is in urgent need of money. Will you quit the gambling for that month and give the allocated money to the poor family or will you prefer to gamble as you can't live without gambling ?

I don't understand what part of that situation will help us understand the psychology of gamblers.

I always lend a hand to those who are in need. No need for me to sacrifice my gambling activity as I can do that at the same time. Close people around me know me well and how I assist them with financial problems. What's more, if it's about charity.

Does stopping for 1-month of gambling will change everything?

"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.”

That's right because we don't have any obligation to anyone since we have freedom what we like to do. And helping anyone is not mandatory. Maybe its good for anyone to stop having this mindset because it will just promote laziness since for sure people who are lazy will just rely on people who give them money. So those gamblers will just extend there helping hand to those people then the result may turn worse.
