2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the prospect of BAT in 2020? on: January 05, 2020, 01:09:41 PM
The primary drawback for BAT is that, to redeem BAT reward, one requires KYC. Currently, the only exchange where it can be done is Uphold. I have heard more exchanges like Coinbase etc. will be on board soon. But, KYC requirement will be there.
It will be hard to join for others now in BAT or brave program as they will require KYC. But as time goes by there are many requiring KYC, due to may regulation put in exchanges and many projects in crypto market now. As I still use Brave now but might reconsider when I will redeem my BAT.
2262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I lost 1.4 bitcoin in a wallet so startign again on: January 05, 2020, 12:38:09 PM
That's unfortunate situation, it reminds me of Big Bang Theory episode about bitcoin. Search that. They lost it without knowing it was in the flash drive. See how much investment they have without holding or seeing it by that time. Well that's how life goes and we simply need to move on,try trading than mining now. Mining is almost non profitable now.
2263  Economy / Speculation / Re: New year and forecasts on: January 05, 2020, 11:59:58 AM
yes we should not believe too much in predictions or such because it will not really happen.
so just respond appropriately, and also this year there will be lots of new news about crypto, hopefully that gives good news.
hope no more big crash in this year  Cry
I stop looking at predictions, will not do it again this year. Will just watch how the candlesticks in graphs will react and perform or better will just focus in trading that waiting too much in terms in altcoins.
2264  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: January 04, 2020, 02:56:21 PM
I think we should focus on accumulating potential coins, there are many potential coins that have been crashed and for me there are opportunities that we can get from it. Yes it is risky but the potential rewards is really great for me. If we want to earn huge amount of profit then we should be used to take high risks investment and decisions.
Some coins that already became too low is already hard to recover, I mean if it just keep on decreasing in price even BTC sometimes arises then there's no mean that the project is surviving even the project is potential but no team is able to update or improve it at times of bear season it will still be unnoticed. Better focus on those alt or projects that have active team that keeps evolving their project.

2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Would Be Your 2020 Stand Out Crypto Investment ? on: January 03, 2020, 02:33:34 PM

An upcoming ICO or IEO?

Have you seen something you are contemplating investing in? Let us share ideas and thoughts in this thread  Grin

No to ICO anymore, even if I like they won't succeed because people have found a safer platform, ICO is too risky and IEO is quite safer since it's done in exchange and less chance to get scam as long as we are participating in reputable exchange like Binance.

Definitely No to ICO, and be responsible investing in IEO. I will prefer to  invest maybe once the project already succeed and perform well in the market. I might start trading with new alts for short term but will still hold BTC, ETH. LINK, EOS, Waves even it will took a long time to pump again.
2269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 03, 2020, 01:18:57 PM
We don't have such lotteries in my place. Even if we had I am not a lottery fan so I wouldn't be playing either way.
We have a bingo that is drawn one a week. If I remember, I buy a few tickets for my parents and grandma. They like the show. I am more of a sports gambler type of guy.
Bingo, lottery we're some of legal gambling games in my are, roullettes and some color game we're put in banned but still applicable to play when there is some feast. I prefer only to play physically when it happened I bump into such place and still have time, but I prefer to play mostly in online gambling and sports betting once in awhile when there is only game from my favorite athletes.

2271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Big invest in bitcoin on: January 03, 2020, 12:05:56 PM
Don't rely too much in others opinion, do your diligent research, as others already set their goals to hold bitcoin till it arise and adoption happens, but there are some who no longer believes in it. If you trust your guts and your research then go on. Just know when to buy and sell depending on the changes happening as bitcoin is too volatile.
2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: January 03, 2020, 09:45:17 AM
In some countries maybe, but in the rest of the world i think its not even close to reality, only the key cities has the capability to accept cryptocurrency as payments, still fiat is the most accessible the dominant currency where ever you are, but in fairness to cryptocurrency, i think its slowly moving forward and continue to find more innovative ways to spend cryptocurrency in real time without hassle. for me cryptocurrency still needs a lot of time to break the barrier and spend cryptocurrency in the form of simplicity just like the traditional fiat money and i hope that day will come sooner that we expected.
Some are still not knowledgeable that crypto exists. There were times I tried to send money from to other countries and I really intend to explain and send my money thru crypto other than bank and remittances, sometime they just need to be teach as there are really available now almost everywhere.
2273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 02, 2020, 01:41:19 PM
A new year and new hope of adopting blockchain and cryptos around the world. Millions of traders or investors are on this Digital Asset Market already.

A good number of people are coming on this market everyday. What are the challenges, regular issues or problems for the traders or investors during investing? Security, High Risk, Scammers, Hackers etc. can be the problems. What do you think?

The main problem nowdays is investors are afraid to invest for a long time in a project which is really needed for a project to develop, so i think the investment system for a project should be renew that make investors are not able to take their money back after certain time

While some projects are really needed something like this, there might be a downside for investors side as the project may do exit scam without us knowing or seeing any signs as they hold or freezes our account in certain time. This is good if their is other entity involved like escrow or government officials that can secured the security or legalities of the project being able to do their promise product well.
2274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still bigger in 2019 from all other Commodities on: January 02, 2020, 01:02:39 PM
Nice,  we can't deny how bitcoin perform this year after the huge dump in 2018,we see how bitcoin tries to sustain it's price. There were time that the prices stays in that range in a month trying not to be break any resistance unlike in 2018 that it falls too law in every minute. Adoption and use of bitcoin is still improving despite of all the dump it experience since it really came from a too high price last 2017.

2276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stats to kickoff 2020 on: January 02, 2020, 10:50:00 AM
Nice stats, some info that I don't read yet were included. I can't remember the last article which says bitcoin is dead. It seems long that I read it and reach that number now. Let's hope that btc will perform better now than last year as halving will happen this year.
2277  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mobile Banking vs. Traditional Banking - Which do you prefer? on: January 02, 2020, 09:05:49 AM
Banking has changed with the times, and now there are a variety of options available. Here’s your guide to mobile banking versus traditional banking.
https://selfkey.org/mobile-banking-vs-traditional-banking/

Which do you prefer?
Mobile banking is much easier to do and accomplished, unlike in traditional where long wait in line is needed. Less hassle and convenient in mobile banking as long as we know how to safeguard our accounts and not be tricked by phishing sites and scamming product offered.
2279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: January 01, 2020, 01:53:33 PM
Giving a comprehensive list of good ICO project will be damn difficult as it stands now. The whole cryptocurrency
are all facing a big downgrade of price due to the market situation. Those projects I have invested on, can't ascertain how good they are now, until the market bounce back to normal
I also keep some of my investments in alts that are not performing better yet I see their project interesting and useful. Some I use personally and some that have a active team members and developers that keeps updating and trying.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the lowest transaction fee bitcoin wallet? on: January 01, 2020, 01:21:47 PM
I prefer the register local wallet in my area, I use blockchain and electrum before but since I ofternconvert into fiat. The price for me is now efficient. If we want a much secured prices we may opt to decide to use the higher fee if it's safer as long as it did it's job accordingly.
