2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 25, 2021, 03:30:38 PM
The more we trade the more commissions and useless trading decisions will happen from my experience. I allocated around 30 percent of life savings in crypto portfolio, the more market goes down I add more depending on the predictions. Markets can stay in bear trend long term, so better to invest with caution.
This happens to me whenever I only want to allocate what is left to my salary. The tendency is I gave more in trading than budgeting in our daily needs. We must know when to sell to have some findings in some investment or project that seems to be more working fine than in what we hold. Decision-making is needed.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is launched on: November 05, 2020, 09:07:30 PM
it is still too early to talk about any successful launch of Ethereum 2.0.
there is still a lot to do to be successful
so far, I follow the bitcoin price more than the news with Ethereum
I doubt they will be able to do anything before the end of the year
It's been long time that ETH keep announcing details about ETH 2.0 but never been known when will be the exact date, it is nice that it's already doing some improvements and Started to do step in making it possible but now is for BTC again since the price keeps increasing due to adoption PayPal brought and once it done and have shown bigger price increase, with these ETH 2.0 news, altcoins may about to follow the trend, hopefully the released will happen faster as it's very needed by eth now better transaction service.
2103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0 on: November 05, 2020, 12:15:44 PM
I don't know ethereum price will go up after new technology update. I just take opportunity buy cheap price and sold after higher price so i don't fell it. Maybe 2.0 will update next year so we need waiting for announced.
There were no news yet about Ethereum. 2.0  final released or update. It's been too long waiting since there's a need for an update now as ETH platform indeed need an update to make more transactions faster. Due to bulk transactions happening in ETH the transactions delay as well too high fees usually happens, if 2m0 will released fast and solve the issues expect a big increase in price of ETH.
2104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 05, 2020, 11:35:03 AM
As of now, votes in 41 states out of 50 states has be counted, and Biden is still leading. Out of 270 points needed to win, Biden at 224 while Trump at 213. The election has seemed unpredicted right from the start, and who to win is not yet known. But, with the look of things, likely Biden could win but still unknown for now.
Sincerely, nothing is 'likely' here becasue Biden is almost there to be declare winner in the ongoing US election. The high stake from England just remind me that, addiction is real for some gamblers, how could you stake such high odds for just a President that doesn't care or care-less for his citizens, what about black lives matters?. The staker of this bet should have known better.
The votes were too close but gamblers should accept the result as what voters  will need to do, There are many factors that affect the voting and Bidwen closed be announced as the new president , the bet price risked were too high but think of it ever reciprocal happens, we really experience lose in gambling especially in betiing.
2105  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Adoption: A Breakthrough? on: November 04, 2020, 10:15:36 PM
Thing here is, if we force bitcoin adoption, it will ultimately whittle down the coins price because of the endless cash-in and cash-out that the people will do once the coin becomes adopted by the public. This means bad news for the people who are here to invest on bitcoin, especially those who have already spent thousands of dollars and are expecting a gain from it.
Bitcoin is not really made for investment purposes its for decentralisation of transaction payments and to have a advance way of transferring money form one to another. But since it's still on it's early stage, early adootors will have the benefit of to be able to make it as a investment that can bemake gains whenever adoption happens.
2106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 04, 2020, 09:42:12 PM
Some did buy BTC at higher price that causes them losses, BTC price is volatile and been affected by many FUDS sin the past. Not all who  hold or trade bought BTC at low some where just due to hype it brings that makes them buy BTC that causes them to lose. Without knowledge how to trade properly and to choose other crypto to trade with it will be hard to recover losses by just waiting so there is a need to really know how to trade not just to hold so when the price seems not moving or too volatile we can decide whether to buy other alt or keep selling or buying.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 04, 2020, 08:58:05 PM
Not a heavy gamer but just like you OP I also in a losing side, sometimes I got lucky but more on greediness side, I lose it back after some day or worse some hours after withdrawing the funds.

Thinking that luck still at my side I play back and that's it, realizing things after everything got busted sometimes only those winnings but there also time that I will lose everything together with my bankroll all busted.
This what makes us more lose when we keep playing even the luck is not on our side. There were times we keep trying to bet thinking that we know what we actually doing since we know the team and the game but sometimes it's still not enough, so whenever I bet now especially this Pandemic I make sure I know the game and I am a fan so if I don't win it's just a simply support to the team, which I still hope to win offcourse.
2108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: November 04, 2020, 02:42:13 PM
Internet. It's dependence on internet might be the biggest disadvantage for bitcoin. We are moving to a much divided world that may lead to more localized and closed economy as well as internet. If the differences keeps on rising, different region would detach themselves from the global internet and create their own WAN. Bitcoin on different WAN won't be compatible.
Internet will depend on our location, in terms of BTC being dependent on Internet to be use is normal as it's the only way to determined its price due to supply and demand as it is not based on our economy but based on the global usage of users. Those who have high speed Internet have the advantage for a much faster transactions. The only disadvantage I see in BTC is the fees since unlike banking transactions that have certain fees fixed in doing transactions bitcoin prices differs every now and then as the price itself is too volatile.
2109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 04, 2020, 01:37:36 PM
currently the market is good for trading, especially ETH, I also take advantage of moments like this to trade ETH on binance futures using 75x and get quick profit reading charts and moment opportunities, but besides that for beginners, don't ever try this because usually it takes a lot of things learned to try to trade like this, it looks like it's good to enter the trade until the end of this year
It's good to trade ETH when we already know how to set points where to trade and if we will be able to monitor it throughly, however setting strategy is way too hard if we don't know yet what strategy works on us well. As we learn from experience trading will be easy and it's better to do it via know top altcoins first like ETH or BTC for safer transactions unlike trading it with new altcoins which is way too risky.
2110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safeguarding funds , your funds on exchanges are safe? on: November 03, 2020, 09:40:08 PM
I have a bad experience with losing funds on the exchange and for that I always transfer the funds I have in my personal wallet because it's safer, I transfer when I want to sell it
If I will not trade in a day or not consecutively trading I make it to a point not to keep them in exchange it's better to be in my wallet than it the exchange. I only keep some in exchange when I have a specific coins that I'm monitoring but if I knew that it will be long again before I trade again I will just keep it in my trezor for safety purposes and much easier access. I also remember in my early days in crypto that I forgot in what exchange I put my coins then when remembered them they have no more value so only keep coins that have potential and if it will take time better sell it if we know we will not be able to monitor it as some alts lose their value easily.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 03, 2020, 09:06:09 PM
Thus, escrowed gives only the assurance that we can surely receive the rewards but not the assurance to getb listed to an exchanges.
Which will still look nonsense even the reward is escrowed but it's still have no value due the project is not listed unless it's from IEO. Sometimes it's better to join in weekly payment bounty campaigns in BTC even it's small a reward but atleast it is a guarantee payment unlike now in bounties that have too much happenings or waiting to be done. We need to set our post properly since the campaigns were limited if we want to be accepted.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right investment for cryptocurrency... on: November 03, 2020, 04:59:22 PM
The right investment for Cryptocurrency is Knowledge. As long as you have the necessary knowledge on how to traverse the in's and out's of the Cryptocurrency Industry, you have the ability to earn from it. Learning is easy but honing your knowledge to turn them into skills is something you have to take risk within this Industry.
Being dedicated and be discipline in crypto is a much needed. Dedicated to learn and to gasp it thru application, there is a need to apply what we learn like learning to do trading and setting what crypto to trade with and be discipline to know when to buy and sell as well discipline by studying all the moves or decision we will be put in crypto may it be in trading or holding. We need to set our mind in what we really wanted as well what is better for that crypto.
2113  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the best reserve asset? on: November 03, 2020, 03:56:09 PM
Using of world 'best' is half wrong when are talking about assets, Depending on yourself and how much risk you can take in your life, bitcoin cab be good choose. But in the other hand, you are looking for a long-term and stable investment, bitcoin can't be good choose for you. Better to not call it best reserve asset for now because bitcoin is still young and have a little market small marketcap comparing to other similar assets. But maybe soon, in just a few years, bitcoin can be the best and life saving reserve asset, All I'm saying is bitcoin is not even is the middle of the road and there is a long way to go for it.
It may not really considered as reserve asset since there is a need for it to be backed as well to be readily available to consider as asset. But its in fact a good investment or used as a substitute in our fiat in terms of using it in doing payment transactions. The best thing about bitcoin is we will have a chance to take advantage of it as investment at it's early stage since there is still a lot of room for it for adoption, those who have it early can take advantage of future benefits it can give.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: November 02, 2020, 04:33:34 PM
Definitely, there could be a huge effect on the team performance if sports icons or other lead players will not be able to join and play because they get infected with the virus, it is a twist and will make it hard to predict the outcome of the match.

Though this is a reality however it only ensures the safety of the other players instead of risking the health of everyone that is involved in the game. On the other hand, it only made some changes on the scores and result but the sport itself will not be affected regardless of whom among these people got infected because the authority could not hold the sports back for a long time since people should start to adopt the new normal and this is part of it.
As long as the team were healthy and they did the protocols needed before the game it's good to continue the game as we really need to face the new normal and we have to deal with it. It's a chance for other players to prove themselves that even the sports icon were unable they can let their team win. They have to adjust as much as possible so they will test whether their protocols will work and will not give more cases of virus. Proper implementation or protocol should be provided to keep them self.
2115  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 01, 2020, 04:44:57 PM
Honestly I didn't expect a second lock down to happen, I thought the government's would try to. Hold off until next year to not further damage the economies. In Europe the corona relief find us still not ratified by the national parliaments. So there is a lot of money already missing where people are counting on it. The second lock down is going to make things worse, probably many of the small countries are not going to survive that.
The government might already plans it and set budget to do the second lockdown now they are able to think and really budget the need supplies that might be needed during these lockdown. The economy will still sure to survive no matter what as there are still businesses that can do online transactions and investors that are taking this advantage in some sectors need during this time. The Earlier they can eliminate the spread and able to lower the risk of many more loses. What is really needed now is people's cooperation.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question on soccer predictions on: October 30, 2020, 04:30:51 PM
What do you guys think from history and experience?

It's always better to check the experience of the team as well their history of performances in betting, there is a money involved so definitely we will check it. I only bet on teams I know or if there is a huge hype between the teams that is said to be a good fight I studied their past games if I'm about to bet, but most of the time I only bet in teams I watched and support them if someone refers me to that game, that's the only time I will study the team and tries to bet.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Crypto Poker Ecosystem on: October 30, 2020, 10:38:01 AM
Better have a dry run or a preview of what you actually wanted, it might be needed by player, investors or as well supporters to really see whether it have potential. There are already casino that do have their coins in their casino but do not have trading value in exchanges. To be able to have a support better find first a platform like if thru ETH, EOS and etc. There is also a need of proof of works before you can have investors a as many fears to get scam now.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 30, 2020, 06:42:31 AM
No news yet that it would accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, but having cashless gaming in a land-based casino is a big step. And the possibility of these casinos to accept Bitcoin or other tokens may not be far from now.
There will be news soon, the fact that they go cashless, they can't skip the popularity of bitcoin and other crypto assets, they know it will increase their revenue as the adoption of crypto are increasing. With proper regulation, I don't doubt they will start adding it one day.
If they will accept bitcoin or crypto it should be implemented with accordance to the law or hence with the proper 3rd party app that is in operation of Payment transactions that accepts crypto as well able to convert fast in fiat value once paying since if it's a government implemented law or rules tendency they will get details or taxes in every cashless transactions. Soon they will sure to adopt and accept crypto since gaming as well egamibg we're too popular during pandemics and they are finding more ways to get players in a much convenient transactions.
2119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 29, 2020, 05:44:07 PM
As long as Bitcoin increases, the volume will increase as a consequence. With the increase in volume, the number of transactions will rise and transactions that are not approved on the network will accumulate. Thus, we will have to pay more fees. This means that if bitcoin is 20k, transaction fees will fly out.
It's normal that the transaction fess will increase like what is happening now since the  transactions of many users who might  buy more or trade it often will increase too, it might be more expensive than it was in 2017 ATH if it will reach 20k dollar as there are new and many traders now,it became also more higher in fees when we started to convert that BTC value even in our mind into our own fiat value that make me just watch the market and don't do any transactions till there be a sign that the price will drop.
2120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constructive Financial Advice Needed on: October 28, 2020, 10:44:36 PM
Op s
Bitcoin investment is good for constructive financial advice but it also has to have other job arrangements as well as work or blogging on various websites that are able to meet daily needs including financial support. Bitcoin investing is capable of making a long term profit. There is no financial basis for the rising price of Bitcoin. That is when money is kept in the shares of a company its business type future plans financial accounts etc. are seen but in the case of Bitcoin there is no such thing so when the demand decreases it's price will fall.
Having real jobs will help too, there are many companies that allows work from home setup so he will have a guaranteed money OP can spend for his expenses and living while other job is for trading purposes, if he'll be able to learn and master trading it's also a good profe8this time of crisis. There is only a need to budget his time properly.
