1801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Beware]New scammer scheme using exchange on: July 15, 2022, 02:56:11 PM
I have also received such kind of scam attempt message on Telegram.
I believe this is how yours happened too and even if it's not others can learn from mine as well.

Note: I didn't fall victim of the scam too

Not exactly like this but there’s a similarity, The guy who contact reasoned out about IRS because he don’t want report his funds in that particular exchange that’s why he will internally transfer the money on the exchange to avoid tax then give me part of the savings in tax. But the end situation of the story is same in both our case. I believe these hackers is operating in group and sending random PM’s with different story.
1802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: P2P transaction cheating techniques. on: July 15, 2022, 12:58:39 PM

For example the picture I posted above, if the the person you want to sell to wants to pay $621 immediately you click on the person the price will change from $621 to around $620, most people don't really notice that.

This is not in control of the seller. The change of price depends on the price of the Bitcoin because most sellers choose floating price type which automatically adjust to the percentage seller set to the current of Bitcoin. There’s 2 option on P2P exchange to set buy price/sell price, It’s either fixed or floating type. The price of Bitcoin or tokens is just changing by the time you create order that’s why it keeps updating whenever you start creating your order.

The only scam on P2P is when you release your funds even the seller didn’t sent you the right amount.
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 15, 2022, 12:35:46 PM
How low would Bitcoin have to fall before it was no longer recoverable?

Price, in my opinion, would not dictate this. It would have to be something that would destroy the foundation and system on which it is built.

what you say?

Bitcoin will need to suffer catastrophic event for Bitcoin to reach that level and no one here can predict how and when. Obviously if Bitcoin can go that low, it means no one will gonna trust it again since the current price is very far from that and all people already established trust to Bitcoin. It’s very hard to break it unless something happened like what I described.
1804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: July 15, 2022, 10:46:55 AM
Lol, Trustpilot is the hotspot for casino exploiters and bonus cheaters to give there negative feedback after they are caught cheating. The number of bad reviews there is almost same ratio in different casino trust score there. That trust feedback website has no way to verify all the reviews so it’s easy for someone to post nonsensical accusation there without a solid proof. The Bitcointalk forum feedback is the most accurate because there’s e before user conclude in every accusation.

Personally I will only search the project's reputation on this forum alone, TrustPilot isn't really known as a reliable source of information.

Although they are trying to remove fake reviews, I believe they have the wrong approach, because it is impossible to determine what is actually fake and what is not. A casino or some other service can easily organize a campaign and pay for a flood of fake positive reviews. In the same way, anyone can organize a coordinated smear campaign and there is no effective way to stop them.

Exactly, Truspilot is moderated and they usually manipulate the vote in favor of there clients. Bitcointalk is perfect as reference to background check the casino because of its decentralized feature and trust system. The flag system too works perfectly on fighting scam casino because the thread will show red flag warning if ever the OP of the casino thread has a flagged for running scam casino.

1806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can all (or most) cryptocurrencies rise and fall at the same time? on: July 14, 2022, 04:19:50 PM

Sorry but, wtf is this??

You already mention BTC as Index but you didn’t knew who works for that?

Binance and other exchange has this kind of bot that automatically adjust the price on the orderbook that market maker set except those setup by individual ofc. These market makers provides most of the liquidity on CEX and it's not all from retail traders that's why you can see that order books price keeps updating every seconds.

This is same with altcoin sentiment, The orderbook adjust based on the current sentiment which creates a fake volume of buying and selling when there's a trend. Just like what you explain, BTC serves as an Index while market maker use that as reference for the movement.
1807  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Celcius Already File Bankcruptcy on: July 14, 2022, 02:35:18 PM
Imagine the pain by all the investors that using Celcius to store there life savings to earn passive income which turns to zero now. This sucks.

To store their life savings in one place and more like Celsius is pretty dumb but unfortunately when there is bankruptcy there are always stories of people claiming to have deposited their life savings there.

I guess many are blinded by the supposed profitability.

There's a lot of people now posting about suicide in there social media in relation with this Celsius collapse as expected. Celsius is licensed company which is the reason why noob investors will risk there life savings in there for a passive profit.

I just saw this article https://cryptobriefing.com/i-am-suicidal-celsius-customers-respond-to-firms-bankruptcy/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss  shared on our group in telegram. This is same when Terra UST collapse before.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 14, 2022, 11:26:33 AM

In Southeast Asia, newcomer Talon Esports surprisingly secured a slot, endangering T1 or even Fnatic. Currently watching Fnatic and T1. Hoping Fnatic will win in order to seal their slot to Arlington.

I bet to T1 with +1.5 but I guess I need to say goodbye early to my bet because they seems experimenting on there game 2 pick. They pick pudge as pos1 for Gabbi which we all know this hero is frequently use on trolling in Sea pub as carry. I don’t know if they can win this but Fnatic Line up is very solid with TA and Puck as there carry.

They need a good black hole to win this which I don’t if they can manage to execute with this line-up. Smh  Roll Eyes
1809  Economy / Gambling / Re: |HexaBet.GG| New Jackpot Gambling Website launching TODAY (1ST JULY) at 5PM UTC! on: July 14, 2022, 09:50:26 AM
While I wanted to Welcome this site here , yet I find it ODD for all of us because OP or anyone in the team is not even updating us here on what is going on and what is the answer to all questions given here.
They are not even interested in going online to  bump this thread so what is the sense of welcoming them or even playing? they might end up scammers that only wanted to lure players with their way of advertising here.

This is a dead casino or failure launch because the casino didn’t have any update since the failed launch. This topic should be lock by the moderator since this already abandoned and will soon be full of more nonsense replies. There’s only one user online in there chatbox while the game is not playable at all. There’s no hope for this casino except for relaunch.
1810  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Celcius Already File Bankcruptcy on: July 14, 2022, 08:50:57 AM
Well, in these cases it is not uncommon to see them deny the obvious until they can no longer hide it.

I think they don't care about investors. Having liabilities higher than assets, the assets will probably be liquidated at a bargain price, and the little that is taken out will be used to pay creditors, but those who had something invested there can take it for granted that they will lose at least a part and most likely lose a large part.

This all start on Terra loss before until the downtrend happened which Celcius can’t stop the bleeding anymore to there balance sheet. Imagine the pain by all the investors that using Celcius to store there life savings to earn passive income which turns to zero now. This sucks.

PS. It's called Celsius, not Celcius.

Thanks for the correction, I’m not aware with the spelling even before until you point it out.  Cheesy
1811  Bitcoin / Legal / Celsius Already File Bankcruptcy on: July 14, 2022, 07:20:53 AM
After many weeks of denying and battling against this allegation, Celsius already admitted there losses and now preparing for filing there Bankruptcy protection paper. This is a disaster for all investors that trapped there money inside this DeFi company.

So this means all there recent move is just an act to fool again there investors? Discuss.

You're right! CPI printed 9.1%, BUT unexpectedly, Bitcoin closed the day with a small green candle near its daily high. I'm starting to have more conviction that we have already reached the bottom of the current bear cycle. Let's wait for end of month announcements for interest rates and the GDP. If rate hike + negative GDP, but Bitcoin reacts strong, it might be TIME to = Buy EVERY DIP! Cool

It’s expected that CPI will go higher there’s currently no solution to inflation. The previous CPI report resulted too on this price action to Bitcoin when the price is at 30K but look at the price now. We are free to assume about our personal bottom of Bitcoin price but make sure you should look on longer time frame and not on daily candles alone.

Anyway, I heard that the upgrade is really close to roll up. I read the conversation between RW and admin about the upgrades. Any thoughts about this?
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 14, 2022, 04:56:58 AM
I was looking for the casino bonus as factor for user to deposit in the casino besides withdrawal feature since online casino nowadays already supports most of the payment methods which user preferred. I don’t know what online casino they have survey but base on what I’m observing here in the forum. Bonuses is what makes user deposit in the casino and not the withdrawal option.
1814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Origins of Bitcoin on: July 13, 2022, 04:14:03 PM
So you mean the origins of Bitcoin are not a welcome topic on this forum? I am not promoting my website, but offered a document that is free to download.

Nope, He just pertaining that your thread has no valuable content and reader need to browse the link you provide before they can read about your title. You should atleast provide here even the summary of your paper so that user will have a brief knowledge about your research using this thread because it really looks like that you only want to gather view for your website by creating this thread without any content.
1815  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: July 13, 2022, 03:42:00 PM
I doubt that he is in profit if we consider his investment value in fiat because the price of FUN token during the time he bought it approximately June 12 was around 0.0085$ while the current price of the token was 0.0073$ as I’m writing this post. It’s true that he he gain already more BTC than before but he already loss around 14% of his initial investment in fiat.

His goal is long term and he still can recover that fiat loses plus gain once this bear market is already over.
In a year, there will be 100% growth and his investments will increase many times over!

How sure you are for making such comment on this crypto winter? Anyway in long term, I do such comment that he will be on profit once the market already recover but no one is certain if this will happened over just a year of waiting because base on previous crypto cycle, Its always have a 3 to 4 years period of each cycle which means we still have few more years to endure this bear market.
1816  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: July 13, 2022, 02:19:59 PM
Good thread, seeing from the period when you started investment in FUN means that you buy in the 35-37 Satoshi range, this price range is still quite cheap in my opinion and my prediction for a year you can benefit from WoF maybe if the price of FUN goes up, but it's difficult to early investors who bought FUN in the 100 satoshi price range, especially when freebitcoin made some changes so that now it becomes more difficult to get 5K satoshi from 1 WoF. Good luck with your investment and will continue to monitor every update.
He bought his bag at 30 satoshis each token precisely according to the figures in his table (487038 tokens for 0.1461114BTC). That's a very nice price, he's very likely to be able to sell them with profit during the coming months at least, even if he doesn't take premium program benefits into account. So this is a very smart investment, kudos to him.

0.1461114BTC / 487038 = 0.00000030BTC

I doubt that he is in profit if we consider his investment value in fiat because the price of FUN token during the time he bought it approximately June 12 was around 0.0085$ while the current price of the token was 0.0073$ as I’m writing this post. 1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 13, 2022, 12:02:13 PM
Don't invest on TFS token. They have a very low budget for the project development and marketing to boost the token price.

As an Owl holder, The reason why Owl gas steady growth is because they have a lot of source of income such as there software sales and there own casino. There staking too has deposit and withdrawal which will forced the stakers to stake for a long time just to recover the fee and gain profit at the same time.
Haha.

1819  Economy / Gambling / Re: Drake vs Stake part 2 on: July 12, 2022, 04:00:27 PM
They were having so much fun and were so relaxed about it despite such high stakes. I wish I could bet a million, lose it and just be like "let's check that other girl at another table LOL".
Definitely a good stream to watch if you want to have a laugh and forget about the problems of the real world. A good promo for Stake too.

Is just a part of their marketing strategy, they pay millions to Drake for this kind of promotions, it doesn't matter if they lose all their balance if the job is to gamble and they get a payment for that job.

For anyone who thinks that was real i you recommend you to watch this video:

The Puppets of Online Gambling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObDAXqg9O3U

OK... so that's why they were so chill about losing money. I had fun watching them despite all that.

Drake is known for betting huge amount and still cool even before the partnership. But not that level on the video because that absurd amount of bet because his not worth is just around 250M while he is betting almost 1M per bet which is insane considering it’s just a roulette and some table games.

I believe most of his balance at that game is all sponsored including the giveaways because Drake is not a charity to giveaway that huge amount no string attached while losing big time at the same time.  Cheesy
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: G20 to propose worldwide crypto rules in October on: July 12, 2022, 03:00:24 PM
It will give a good and bad effect to crypto in general.

Good:
Those scams project will finally cannot operate anymore freely without any regulators looking at them. Those institutional whales that manipulating the market illegally will be lessen due to stricter regulations. Exchange and DeFi will be the number one sector that will be heavily affected by this.

Bad:
Regulations means KYC. User will be forced to comply to KYC for proper regulating of crypto market. The volume will decrease substantially because wash trading will be lessen.
