1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currencies Privacy on: October 08, 2022, 12:18:49 PM

We have not seen a user yet in the forum who personally has crypto frozen in his wallet. If for instance, this happens, we can be assured freezing his tokens is specifically aimed at this user.

Probably, for now, we can only say keeping privacy is just us being too paranoid but if the government actually controls one big major exchange and can dig your data from the exchange, they probably can target each one. Yup too paranoid I guess.  Grin

Most of this kind of paranoid guy usually involves on shady transaction that makes them scared on being audit for there finances. I agree your sentiment about this kind of people being paranoid for there crypto since there is no way for your wallet to determine ownership by others unless you are posting it voluntarily in the public so that everyone knows. The government will not do background check on our account if don’t do something wrong against the law.

This paranoid guys make crypto worst since they are making crypto privacy complicated that always results for the law to become stricter and more regulated.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 07, 2022, 02:53:32 PM
You are right, but maybe with a different concept than now.
The crypto market will continue to experience different hype every year. And there are ways for scammers who intend to follow the hype. maybe now the shitcoin is starting to fade but if the market turns bullish again there will be people who invest in the shitcoin.
That is why it is difficult to predict the crypto market because every year is different,
scammers always have a way and indeed for shitcoins of course when it is bullish it becomes a good time to invest,
we know that shitcoin is very risky and with bear market conditions I think it would be reckless if someone invests in shitcoin
We must also be smart as time passed by in determining scam projects. There were so many altcoins now and even before that seems to be just a copy of another project, some didn’t have any real use and value. In time only those top altcoins and uses in the market even in physical life will have it’s value. We must already learn from ICO, IEO or Defi that gets too much hype that many projects arrive and become scam. We must study well  where we invest our hard earned money.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 07, 2022, 12:40:02 PM
Actually there is no specific strategy that can always get a profit for us, especially like the current market situation, of course we have to be careful every time we make an investment, profit and loss are common we feel and predict a coin can not guarantee that we can always guarantee that we can always feel, and the best way at the moment is to invest in the long term and choose potential coins so that later we can feel big profits in the future  come.
It’s hard to wait long term in all our investments. If we have other job or business it can help us during this bear season but if we full rely on trading then better do short trading and take some profit whenever there is chance. I only accumulate more BTC now. But do trading with other altcoins even in small profit to have some amount to use for daily spending.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 04, 2022, 03:32:04 PM
the possibility is very small. Moreover, new projects that enter the bear market rely solely on public sale funds, they can only return investors' money or run away if they plan from the start. in several projects I have encountered they prefer to avoid bear markets to launch their projects.
Most investors prefers to invest in projects that already been proven in the market that even there is bear market it will be able to recover and pump again. It’s unlikely to investors to invest in new projects unless it is promoted or get some hype by known personalities. Many already learned their lesson from ICO projects that just run away when bear season happen. At times like this I prefer to buy BTC than to invest in new coins.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2022, 01:46:13 PM
We are in the month of DOTA 2 TI. Until then , we just entered into the week with last chance to qualify for TI and I must say that Secret is doing massive training for this games and I heard that Puppey is simply not accepting the fact that there is a chance for Secret to miss TI + the fact that they have a really massive fan base in Singapore and Asia so I do hope this is true and they are training like no other training session.

Yes, Puppey and Team Secret are one of the most popular players and teams here in the SEA. But every team is also training heavily as well. I don't think they will qualify for TI. They can get wins and probably enters the upper bracket but they will fall once again and come out short. Puppey ain't in TI for the first time if they failed to qualify right? This must be the ending of the era of Puppey and Kuroky.

I'm rooting for Virtus.pro to get a slot. The other slot is up for grabs by those 2 Chinese teams, T1 and Team Secret.

Team Secret will never qualify on this year TI because there pos1 crystallis don’t  upgrade to daedalus.  Cheesy

I still believe on Team Secret that they can best the odds here. Chinese team is a choker on crucial tournament same with T1. Virtuos Pro is there greatest enemy on this tournament because VP is very hungry to get the TI spot after missing the spotlight for a long time. They have a good roster this year so my money will goes them since they are consistent to there matches compared to other teams on other region.
1566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: Watchout for 30% decline in Bitcoin price, according to this indi on: October 04, 2022, 12:48:26 PM
Quote
Analysts at crypto intelligence firm IntoTheCryptoverse evaluated the Bitcoin price trend

Lol really?

This guy that's quoted there as "an analyst from a crypto intelligence firm" Benjamin Cowen is a youtuber who started making videos about bitcoin somewhere in 2019. The guy hasn't even been through a single bitcoin bear market and they're making articles about his bearish predictions, comparing him to people like Kiyosaki. Not saying that Kiyosaki has to be right and Cowen wrong, just that any idiot can make a bearish prediction in a bear market and it's especially easy when you're a youtuber who gets money regardless of whether he's right or not.

No offense but you don't need to experience the actual bear market just to make technical analysis for prediction since all the previous data is already available in the price chart. In fact it's much easier to predict the future price using a lot of data from the rather than based on the actual condition of the market.

I honestly don't have any idea who the guy is nor I support him. I just want to comment on how people that start late in crypto can still give a valid prediction if they are really good on TA based on there trading portfolio.

I was gonna deposit but I noticed that you have a rules that user can check the availability of the slot first. What if the slot is not available in my country? Can I choose different slot or I should wait for other promotion that featured other slot games? Does this promotion was included to no wagering requirements category?

The addition of sportsbook makes winz so interesting! Congrats
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen in the crypto war? on: October 03, 2022, 03:00:12 PM
Just store your assets on non custodial wallets so that you will be safe no matter what will be the stand of your government on crypto since you are holding your own keys. As @Jawhead stated, Government decision is unpredictable depends on what they can gain. You can use your crypto assets once your government doesn't ban while just holds it in case they prohibit it. Just stay away on centralized services and you are good to go. Bitcoin is operating under the radar of government for long time before. I’m sure crypto will survive on this was since most of the project is decentralized.

We can always do a P2P exchange just like the old times if the government controls CEX.  Cheesy
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crash Incoming? on: October 03, 2022, 02:24:34 PM
The current weather is not in favor of crypto that's for sure. Inflation is not stopping which means the interest rates will keep rising. The money gets more expensive to borrow which means less money will go to risky assets like crypto. You don't have to be super smart to tell what's happening and what is likely to happen in the future. It all depends on the FED's actions and they won't be slowing down any time soon.
When interest rates rise, the investment will fall. And in this situation, nothing can be done. Moreover, various US organizations say that the world economy is heading towards a recession. Considering this topic, it is clear that the crypto can move to a lower position. At least we'll have to wait until early next year to figure it out.

The recession has just begun and the worse things are about to happen. The inflation crisis is unstoppable so there's a huge possibility that its effect on the crypto market is negative so we can expect a huge pump for now. The market will always be affected by the negative criss that could happen around us and if the recession period would get better, that's the time that the market can recover as well.

I think you mean dump. Yeah, Economic crisis due to inflation is getting worst. The current price of Bitcoin is below 20K level which below the strong support while the Feds news will be released next which probably create FUD to crypto market and might bring down more the price to new lows.

I’m very tempted to short the market but the price swing is very scary too which can liquidate my position once the Feds result is good next week.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 03, 2022, 01:18:11 PM
It’s impressive that it has become a pattern with results that are divisible by nine. a pattern with results that are divisible by nine. It’s probably really rare, but maybe it’s just really what shows in the results. If they were to rig it or something, that would’ve been a scam by a group of people, making them a lot of money out of nowhere.

if it even was rigged, they should be punished.

This was already explained on the news recently by the PCSO gen manager. The winning number combination is only appear once and most of the winners that being interviewed was betting this combination for a long time and the winning bets has pattern so it’s really possible that many players will if they are thinking on same logic.

The draw is being done televised, there’s no way it will be rigged since all balls is being weigh before it place on the cage.
1571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: October 03, 2022, 12:10:30 PM
Yeah this was obvious exploit in monetary system. Under heavy inflation its best to borrow lot of money to buy precious things like cars, houses, gold where you can get direct advantage. Bitcoin is now another option. If you have wage, its best to borrow money, buy Bitcoin in bottom, cover your borrowed money with your wage, and take profits from Bitcoin. Its easiest get rich quick method I can see yet, its very risky. Never lose your job unless you become millionaire!

Feds is increasing interest rates on loans and other commodities. I doubt that this is still a food idea since the plan is use Bitcoin as collateral but what if the interest rate of the loan increased while Bitcoin price decrease since its the direction of the market. The Op might end up lose all of his BTC holdings while still pays the interest of the loan since the value of the property is half the amount of Bitcoin while he didn’t consider paying the interest of his loan to his plan.
1572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 03, 2022, 08:51:46 AM
Less volatile means more adoptation. The volatility of Bitcoin is what makes the government very strict on legalizing Bitcoin but it will be a different story if the price became stable.

Personally, I don't want Bitcoin to become stable and there is no way to do it since it has a limited supply. The price will surely goes up if scarcity kicks in. I’m investing in crypto because of its volatility. I will just use the regular fiat if Bitcoin become stable because I don't see any difference asides from there total supply.
1573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Gambling Site has a Short Signature Campaign on: October 02, 2022, 03:58:07 PM
Fairspin is known for doing short campaign period due to limited budget and I believe its same with the Bluechip and other casino that has a short term campaign. The bear market is not the reason to blame for this since there's still a lot of signature campaign that still running in long term regardless the market condition.

I'm certain that this scenario is due to limited funds of the casino that allocated on there campaign here since the payment is huge for a startup casino to maintain the campaign running for long term while getting only minimal result due to tough competition.
1574  Other / Archival / Re: Selling Fully Verified 1xBet Account on: October 02, 2022, 03:35:48 PM
Aside from what yahoo mentioned, The account is fully verified which means the user who submit the KYC can easily recover this account by just contacting the support and providing the same KYC documents to verify again the account prove the ownership. Selling a verified account even with trusted casino is prohibited and risky at the same time since it can be recovered by the real owner anytime by just claiming that it was hacked.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 02, 2022, 03:15:53 PM
Yesterday, many people were surprised on the result of our lottery. The number that came out were are all divisible by nine. There are many speculations now that the lottery is rigged and the result was already fixed. It's just hard to believe that since they always do live draw to show transparency about the result. What do you think? Is this really possible in lottery?

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0xogg6pv17aDJe94MQCYAaNiUdDpxnQFczyrY4Gaaf91BMhmarBtnx8p8iXWMZd4sl&id=100069066345193 (I just cropped the image to focus on the 6/55 draw)

Honestly, I've been shock that in my entire life I had never encounter a 400+ winners for a certain mega jackpot, I can't say that it is statistically impossible there will be a possibility of course but it is quite unusual to get a huge number for that lottery. I am not a statistics person, I am not trained to analyze the possibilities of this but I always have a doubt, does this 400+ people are real? we will see that if they will go to the office and claim the money. I am sure many eyes are drawn to the winners. they will monitor if there's an unusual number of people going to the office.

There's no such thing as statistically impossible especially that this scenario only happened once. And also as many already point out about the patterns of winning jackpot then its possible that this winners are doing the same pattern thing on there bets which result to this too many winners.

It's normal to doubt lottery since they are not transparent on revealing the winners due to privacy protection. They might cheating too the result but this result is also possible. It's up to us on how we will trust the PCSO credibility or not.
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: October 02, 2022, 01:12:55 PM
OP is kinda right there needs to be fun in the game. Besides that people should focus on the fun part rather than the earning.
Also, it might be that at some point the game will itself become boring and in order for that not to happen the developer should keep bringing flavor to that game.
People will only keep playing as long as it is fun playing the game.
Many aims to earn now so they will seem not to waste their time. People only try those earn to play games since they know they can earn. Gamers now are into earning that others use this also to do live gaming or do videos to upload in their social media account or youtube to get viewers and earn on it. If only there will be a better offer in blockchain game to earn that will attract investors and gamers to still use it with much entertaining graphics, rules and a profitable coin that have a strong foundation or use then it can still be patronize by many, but if not many will just intend to play gambling or do content for them to get profit or enjoy.
1577  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: October 02, 2022, 11:27:38 AM
from where I come from, even if I won $1M from an online casino and let say i managed to withdraw and passed the KYC, the state wouldn't even be able to know that I won that much let alone tax it  Grin
So again, what was the point of me passing the KYC again? From the state's side, nothing!
From the casino's side, maybe there's a reason... multi accounting, playing from restricted jurisdictions etc.
That the KYC function is only for gambling platform internal factors and even though we have more gambling accounts on different platforms, each account is required to complete KYC verification. So the KYC function is not even related to different platforms let alone countries, if for example the platform deducts tax fees from jackpot winnings but maybe there is no tax report to that country, so they just deduct the jackpot winnings for tax reasons.

It is believed that KYC is needed in order to prevent fraud. After all, a person who has passed KYC will not cheat. On the other hand, KYC can also be fraudulent if a person wants to specifically and professionally cheat a casino or an exchange.

Yeah, This is dangerous for those user that selling there verified gambling account in the market. I saw many users before that selling this kind of accounts and most probably it was hacked account. Worst scenario was your KYC account got hacked and used to cheat in the casino while you have the ID for the casino to trace and sue you for the violations that scammer did. This is what I’m avoiding too on submitting my KYC on casino.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: October 01, 2022, 05:04:48 PM
Buying something in the game is like supporting the devs for their hardwork and this will encourage them to improve the game, so I don't really see it as a bad thing as long as self control is there.
This is what I think whenever I buy in-game or additional features in apps, we can’t always enjoy free downloads the Devs also need to get some profit to keep their business going. And it will g more features like special access that gives some player sense of importance.  Though they can earn thru ads but if we think that feature is worth having then supporting their buy-in ideas will not be a problem as long it offers more attraction. It's enough that they give as access for their apps or games to play for free there are platforms like in Nintendo or even in c or alike that we need to buy games just to start playing them.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bottom? on: October 01, 2022, 04:23:18 PM
Waiting for bitcoin bottom to invest is unprofessional while we have DCA strategy.
What's the connection of being professional and unprofessional just because someone is waiting for it to dip? I don't see any reason to call somebody as unprofessional just because he's waiting for the dip? Yes, there's DCA and other strategies but you can't just call someone unprofessional because he's waiting for the bottom. Everyone is waiting for the bottom and that's the time that we're waiting for and we like to invest at the bottom because that's the most ideal time and price to buy.
The lower the price the better to accumulate more BTC before it starts to recover its price and pump again, though we don't know what price is the bottom but many is aiming to buy as much as possible in the least possible price so I try to buy Bitcoin whenever the price decline and hope it will pump after. It's not wrong to wish for the bottom price as we can get more profits if we will be able to buy it at lowest and sell it at high.
1580  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: October 01, 2022, 03:47:57 PM
I don't know about other businesses, but I know OLX well. It's very much operational in Ukraine, and it's, like, probably the most popular marketplace we have. Maybe it failed in Nigeria, but it wasn't a Nigerian business. I googled, and Wikipedia says it's actually still operational in 30 countries. Since it's one of the most known websites that tons of people use in my country, I also wouldn't call it a small business or a startup.
As for reasons of businesses failing, I think reasons that are unrelated to the entrepreneurs should be added. A country can have a sudden political and/or economic destabilization, a global event  (like the pandemic) can heavily affect some businesses, and some countries have terrible legislation and business climate that just makes it very hard to create and operate a business there.
It will depend on countries, OLX is no longer popular in my country but it used to be before Shopee and Lazada came. There is a need for a business to expand or develop when its competitors are.Sometimes they need to do more advancement in their features and not just stick on what they know like how Nokia lose its popularity over other cellphone companies now.
