2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before 2019 ends, crypto addicts should check these! on: January 01, 2020, 06:47:14 AM
For Airdrops it is really luck based.

But, it is not bad to hoard a number of different tokens just so maybe there is a chance of a jackpot.
Before this was really the thing and it made some crypto enthusiast here in bitcointalk to earn a lot with just a freebie.
Now, we don't see that much. Out of 1000 joined you might get 1 or worse none.
I wasn't able to join any airdrop last year, there is a much needed review and research before doing so. Or better trade than waste time in finding airdrop that will not really give a freebie. Work than wait for nothing this 2020.
2282  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Bounty Regulations on: December 31, 2019, 03:43:50 PM
2283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: December 31, 2019, 02:24:49 PM
They got scam because they are trusting those people that they do not even know so easily. Also, because of their greediness about the money that they might get, they just accept the offers of others without even thinking what will be probably the effect of it to them if they are going to accept it. Decide carefully because scammers is everywhere.
There will be no bitcoin users victim if they will not let it happen to them, we are capable of understanding every info and to decide on our own, based on our understanding and our analysis. We should set parameters in identifying the projects ass well do diligently research to not waste our investment and time in scam projects.
2284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing ROI of Bitcoin's to altcoins on: December 31, 2019, 06:56:39 AM
It's pretty obvious that bitcoin will take the first place as the coin with the highest return on investment. Bitcoin has always been the preferred asset to invest into in this industry and that's why it's ROI is so high. Many crypto enthusiast invest into itmore than they invest into any altcoin. If you  also look critically at coinmarket cap coins like SEELE and DIVI are performing very well.
We really see how BTC arises in time, it's increase is too fast that no other altcoins might be able to do it too. Even combines of altcoins can't perform what BTC did in the past years especially 2017 ATH. Those who invested earlier that time are still experiencing the ROI of Bitcoin even we are in bear market as they bought btc in too low price.
2285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: December 31, 2019, 05:42:00 AM
As per several news and analysts ,
Bitcoin will touch 10k in the month of January.

I'm tired of these analysts.Yes, the price should go up, but it will not be in January, but most likely throughout the year.I have high hopes for 2020.
I can't remember if there were price that seems close in all my speculated price this year. I was able to predict whether it will rise or not but not to extent to be close enough in a price it will increase before it will goes down again. Let's just be it whatever price it may, as long as it will pump even a bit before halving.
2286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Much WOW?!?! on: December 31, 2019, 12:58:22 AM
I think it's not a problem of inflation, but the Hardfork that will happen will bring ETH to be better, I think the scalability of ETH will be one of the developments that will be completed in Hardfork this time,
If all ETH problems can be resolved, I believe the price can exceed the highest price in 2020.
ETH been a good alt to hold for long, even it face some problem many project still adopts it's platform as it's easy to use and have better features than other platforms. This hard fork and some said ETH 2.0 version if executed well can help bring back investors who already lose their hope in ETH.

2288  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: December 30, 2019, 07:41:01 AM
In my own opinion, it is possible for you to get rich ,even you get married, pay taxes, use banks. As long, you are determined and motivated to work hard for you to reach your goals and dreams, you can really get rich. Getting married, paying taxes, and using banks are not hindrances for to get rich, it depends on you how will you really get rich.
Everything mentioned by OP is all possible to have and still be rich, it's just a matter of doing things accordingly and well planned. Family can be the inspiration to strive more while others are needed for legal progress of business. Many rich people now have all of the above and still managed to be rich simply by having strategy and being smart using their skills and assets.
2289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Who Needs the Internet Anyway: Taking Bitcoin Transactions Offline*" on: December 30, 2019, 06:00:02 AM
Taking bitcoin transactions offline is really a tough job. We all know that all other transactions are also internet dependent. Nonetheless, its quite helpful though as it may save us from internet fees. But, as I've mentioned how about those other transactions that we pay or exchange with bitcoin? It think this is really a tough job or project to so as it may also affect the security and some financial regulations that we need to consider in certain countries.
While it is good to imagine that Bitcoin can be available and use offline, it's seem far from happening as it needs to be recorded in the demand of BTC used to know the price it can achieve. As the price changes every now and then and used by many individuals.
2290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading bots are you using to manage your portfolio? on: December 30, 2019, 03:35:00 AM
I don't use trading bit nowadays as it all seems fake, I have tried telegram bots but their not showing accurate result. It feels like a waste of time so better read the charts, be updated in crypto news or simply watch the coinmarketcap charts if trading with different alts, as for me now I prefer to watch on trading few alts, to focus and have better analysis.
2291  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Exit Scamming Exchange? on: December 30, 2019, 12:45:26 AM
They have been under a massive attack and have been ask for a ransom.

https://twitter.com/graviex_net/status/1211356470576631808

You can follow everything from their official twitter page.

So we need to wait for further announcement if it's an exit scam or not.

This the reason that I don't left investment in any exchanges now especially if I plan not to trade for long. Hopefully not many uses these exchanges or didn't have many investment left on it as I didn't use this exchange even once.
2292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worsening Lebanese Crisis May Spark Bitcoin Adoption on: December 29, 2019, 03:10:39 PM
I heard this too that they are suffering from transferring money and the rate of dollar to their money is very expensive, so it is possible that they could also adopt cryptocurrency in their system for them to be able to transfer money with their loved ones just like what Venezuela did as an alternative way for their crisis.
Bitcoin is good alternative for countries that having economic crisis as it can help them at times like this, let's just hope that they will not banned crypto and allows bitcoin to be used in their country so they have option while their figuring it out the solution to their problem. Many countries already using it due to superinflation that they wanted to keep off.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vending machines that use Bitcoin on: December 29, 2019, 01:47:27 PM
If the speed of the transaction would allow you to get the vending machine item at a time of a 1 second, where the network would somehow not become laggy.
Yeah it would be awesome for it to exist.

But as everything, network has problems when the network gets messy, laggy, routes damaged.
Therefore when the traffic get's throttled away it will be hard for the vending machine to keep up the item release.

Or it will have to tell the user to wait for a confirmation Roll Eyes
It’s really possible for the area that have high speed internet connection or provide free internet connection for both the vending machine and the app will be use to scan the account. Everything is possible to do in btc as payment as long as there is applicable apps and internet connection. It will be nice to try it once we have it in our country, but we need first a stable internet connection, which is a problem in my country till now.
2294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post Your 2019 Success Stories Here on: December 29, 2019, 12:09:43 PM
I want to use this opportunity to tell everyone that ranking up is not as hard as you think. All you need to do is help one another by contributing some good things for the community and to your fellow countrymen. Some of my works got me promoted and earned some huge experience from reading and making some topics regarding Cryptocurrencies. If you see my BPIP status, everything was accomplished only this year.
Nice motivation, I almost left crypto this year as no good bounties coming and my holding were all falling. But then I realize not many knew crypto trading and have knowledge that bounties or signature campaigns exist, that it's still good to take advantage of this time and tries to earn more and learn until I:ll be able to trade well.
2295  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Pangkalahatang-Ideya sa mga Browser. Alin ang dapat na gamitin? on: December 29, 2019, 04:57:51 AM
I uses Chrome madalas, Safari kapag gamit ang Ipad and Brave minsan kapag naalala ko yung rewards pero mostly is Chrome talaga ang gamit ko. Haven't tried other listed by OP pero noong panahong mahilig ako magtry ng mga applications same with UI tricks for Internet Opera Mini and UC browsers are used before it's just I don't open crypto related apps kahit sa Brave Browser. Ingat lang lagi sa pag bisita ng ng mga website.
2296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest battle for Bitcoin's life is coming on: December 29, 2019, 02:43:26 AM
I left the bitcoin market. I'm preparing myself for re-entry. I will do more research and choose better projects. I am strengthening my psychology against harsh movements. I have been in this market for years and now my feet are on the ground more firmly.
This all we need, we will experience loss in crypto but it doesn't mean that we can't return, we just need to learn from experience. Improve our skills and analyse whether that coin is worth holding or simply good to trade. Bitcoin is too volatile but once it reach it's limit and been adopted by many users and organisations it's value will rise again. Don't believes in some FUD better research it beforehand.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still a people's currency? on: December 28, 2019, 05:06:10 AM
It is true, there are a lot of hate about Bitcoin especially on the internet.

I did post a statement on Facebook one time and the hate about Bitcoin is oozing saying things like it is a scam, snap out of it and other negative responses. It is the future of currency and trnasactions, I also think that Blockchain would be used widely and currencies will be based on Bitcoin while fiats taking the sideline slowly as time passes by.
Blockchain have more chance that will be more popular and adopted than in bitcoin, but those who are willing to risks and already see the potential and what bitcoin can be as an investment in the long run can try it especially if their aware of the risk and potential gains. Bitcoin is not to weak investors as they can easily be pursued and believe in FUD they can hear or read, those who also know how to trade can take advantage of it as an investment. It just depend on how risky we are in investing as many are already close minded in this idea.
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 24, 2019, 10:23:31 AM
i think two of the choices fits me,it is a Routine whenever i am stressful that i seek from playing gamble.

second is having Fun and Enjoyment because i really don't focus in winning because i am a man that hates failure so it is better not to expect so fail wont take place.
I also only play when I'm stress or to kill time especially when I'm on the road that I need to wait for traffic. If Im done with bounty and trading. Or the road is too bumpy and trading and bounty is not applicable. I play online card gambling to not be irritated in traffic and to replace my focus in gambling playing which also offers fun and entertainment to me.
2299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do Women Want? More Educational Materials Before Investing in Bitcoin on: December 18, 2019, 03:00:43 PM
Does gender even matters in bitcoin? Let's say that right now that mostly men are investing in bitcoin but I can see that if more women discovered bitcoin, they will be more good at investing and handling their btc than men. Women can also be interested in bitcoin, we just need more adoption so they can be aware of bitcoin.
Women needs a lot of guaranteed info to risk into some investments. I know Women who are good in handling or budgeting money but are too hard to convince in investing especially in crypto as they see it too risky. But there are some who are interested only once they see some proofs but people they know that are able to earn thru crypto or experience the 2017 bull run.
