1541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading profitable? on: October 13, 2022, 04:57:48 PM
I never tried copy trading but I've heard that it's profitable but depends on who you want to follow, and they said if you want to enter in it must rely which has more followers because it's legitimate and surely you will become profitable afterwards. . It very common last year tbh, and alot of newbies searching and sharing some good experience about it, i don't if still the same until now..
It became popular as it was advertised and promoted to earn profit like how the profiles of those trades can be copied. Being able to do trade without enough knowledge is too risky. I didn't tried it yet but I don't think it is profitable if keep doing maybe there are instances that we can win through this method but if we don’t know anything about that coon it may lead more into loses. It’s already hard to trust signalsthat were given by paid so called professionals what more if we will just copy their trade without studying. I guess it will depend on who we will follow and if we trust him that much to risk our money without studying.
1542  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: October 13, 2022, 03:37:54 PM
Starting a business has its own risks too, because you are investing into something that has still uncertain future. That is why it takes a knowledgeable and business minded individual to build and start a business as he has the potentials to grow and prosper what he has started. If you are seeing your business is not developing, then make some more innovations and change your market strategies that will work on the customers. And if you’re seeing it’s already growing, just continue your marketing techniques and even improve it for more positive achievements.
There should be a continuous plan for improvement as well knowing what the market trends. It's not always the same there will be time you will sell alot and days with low sale , so identify how will you manahe the expenses with these 2 scenarios. Keep track of all the expenses, sales as well things you do for business to identify whether your right track or need a change plan.
1543  Economy / Gambling / Re: Endorphina the best Slot Provider for Online Casinos on: October 11, 2022, 03:58:03 PM
Tried to contact Live chat, but they are not available. I just wanted to ask are there any rewards for new users?, such as a first deposit bonus. Because it really attracts the attention of potential new users, like me for example.
Endorphina is just a slot provider and deposit bonus is responsibility of the casino since casino is just using there software in there website and the bonuses such as deposit bonuses that you are asking is the casino responsibility. You can ask them question about there slots such as bug, functionality or your experience and not things that related on the casino feature.

I’m surprised that endorphina starts there ANN thread which makes forum member life easier in case they have problem on there slot games. Dealing provider issue is very before since players can’t communicate directly to provider which always result to a very long process of waiting.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How USDT (stablecoins) work? on: October 11, 2022, 03:30:45 PM
I am trying to understand how USDT (or any other stablecoins) work. Is it true that USDT is just a contract on Ethereum? If it is true, then do we know its address? And another question is, how Teather emit new USDT whereas the contract can't be changed?

Don’t make it too complex, Tether(USDT) is a centralized token. Token is not being mine but through minting. The developer has the power to mint, freeze or burn any token because it was designed that way since it was backed by fiat as collateral which means it’s supply will varies depends on the value of USD in there treasury.

USDT doesn’t work like Bitcoin, Ethereum or other token that is decentralized. Tether devs can print billions of USDT out of thin air that’s why it always subject for being a scammy stablecoin.
1545  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: October 11, 2022, 02:45:26 PM
Including it on curriculum will just make young minds exposed on high risk investment. This should be teach only on advance course but not cryptocurrency but rather the use of blockchain because that is what important technology that needs to learn and not cryptocurrency in general since it will more focus on price discussion rather than technicalities.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto withdrwals in USA on: October 11, 2022, 01:02:46 PM
I think the bank will notify the authorities or the tax bureau there about your withdrawal, I think that they will probably ask to take part in your money, I mean they're the US government, they don't like you making money out of selling drugs, they don't like you because they're not getting their cut(taxes).

Nope, That's not how taxation works on US. You need to voluntarily pay your tax in IRS sand you will need to file a complete report of expenses or else you will be charge a tax evation crime. IRS on US is very strict on matter like this and you will not gonna like what they will gonna do once they caught you paying less or not paying at all.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: October 11, 2022, 11:48:42 AM
You made some interesting topics in beginners & help recently, all talking about almost the same thing.
My experience tells me that everything involves around crypto project, Is about risk, except for the president of them all ( Bitcoin ), The vice ( Ethereum ) and the child ( Binance ). Investing in any of these 3 gives risk free system.
I don’t see how Binance is an investment or a child of Bitcoin and Ethereum, did you mean BNB? With time you will centralized exchanges (Binance and the likes) are not best for hodling your crypto long term because of the risks involved with third party management, using a centralized exchange service means you’re not in total charge of your coins because you do not own the keys. Binance was attacked recently and a lot of money was lost. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/binance-hack-100-million-cryptocurrency-blockchain/

He is just simply using the word child as metaphor as hierarchical order and not in relationship aspect since he classified them base on the time they established and there achievement.

And also BNB tokens can be hold on hardware wallet or software wallet and not on CEX alone. You can hold this token without experiencing risk of holding it on CEX.
1548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: October 10, 2022, 05:16:03 PM
For me it’s prime thing because that’s what executes my order without any further wait. In crypto space it is really important because the market is too volatile and you never know which coin might turn out to be disaster with no more volume to trade.

Unlike everyone has different opinions here I’m sure it’s personal taste for everyone whether to have more volume or no volume at all.
It is needed to determine whether that coin gets investors interest and we will know how active that coin is. Some maybe doing the dump and pump thing that’s why we will not just depend on it but also search about that coin itself, the team and maybe the reason why there is such volume in that coin. Volume is needed but we need still to analyze it since some projects are doing schemes to pump their projects and we will need to know if its volume is really woth having depending on that coin purpose use or event.
1549  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maybe Yet to be seen? on: October 10, 2022, 04:34:58 PM
I don't see the point of using NFT in gambling.

NFT is art) Why don't casinos reward players with paintings by Picasso, Malevich, Dali? Did that question make you smile? But these artists made art. Well if casinos are using NFT to reward players it would only make me smile.

NFT is not all about art since its a token wrapped. It just being used to store an art during its initial release but it's use already diversify in different category and one of them is on casino industry. Some casino like Rollbit introduced there Rollbet NFT to give additional benefits to there players by just holding it. The benefits varies on the rarity of the casino which makes casino players crazy to hunt a rare NFT ro have a better casino benefits.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take bitcoin as the virtual currency, that perform better than physical currency on: October 10, 2022, 04:11:49 PM
The problem is Bitcoin price keeps growing overtime due to its deflationary supply feature. Bitcoin can be categorized in different type based on user perspective. It's very hard to use a currency that has an unstable value to replacedthe current currency we are using right now. For me Bitcoin is best to categorized as an asset and not pure currency since its value is increasing like Gold over time but Bitcoin has an advantage since its supply is limited while Gold, Fiat and other precious metal has an unlimited supply.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: October 10, 2022, 03:42:11 PM
Get a withdrawal stuck followed by KYC request.

I feel that's something that can drive us all crazy, and is something that is becoming more common day by day. We can read on this forum section a lot of complains from users for this actions. KYC should be only for large amounts, but we have seen users getting their money stuck for low amounts like 2LTC.

This is the current norm on crypto casino nowadays. Younare lucky if you will still receive your funds and recover your account  but most of the time it ends up on losing the funds and banning the account for the reason of connecfing you on other players if you manage to use an exchange address for your withdrawal.

The other current annoying trend on casino are bet limitation or account banned if you win too often on your bets. This is very unfair since they are allowing players to lose big time without a break but limiting them when they are winning. Using the casino itself is already a gamble. Cheesy
1552  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 10, 2022, 02:16:49 PM
Hey guys. Apart from winning let's talk about loosing  Wink
We all have bad days...
So the question is...if you loose many times in a row, what would you like at most - a cashback from what you've just lost or a bonus to go on?

Technically speaking, Cashback is a bonus too that based on what you earned points in exchange for money. I don't know what kind of bonuses you are pertaining but rakeback is the best for me since its the percentage of the total profit the casino that being distributed to all players. Relying on cashback percentag of your loses is nonsense since you need to lose in able to claim while other bonus can be claimed regardless if you win or lose.
1553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with a business mindset on: October 09, 2022, 05:19:16 PM
The biggest problem I face when trading crypto is over-expectation And because of this over-expectation I have to close many profitable trades at a loss. Controlling greed is a very difficult task in crypto trading, because many times even experienced traders cannot control their emotions, greed which leads to huge losses. Trading should be thought of as a business and the target of booking profit should be taken as soon as the trade is taken.
The problem here is controlling your emotion, I also experienced this when I’m afraid to sell at a good profit because of hoping that the price can still go higher but in the end, I was forced to sell at a loss because of being too greedy not to sell at peak. Having a good mindset is very important, and it can work better if you do your own analysis always because in trading, we should not rely to anyone aside from ourselves.

You will never have a problem with your emotions if you have guidelines set on your trading that you will follow all the time in different situation. Professional have this kind of guide on there trades so that they will open or close there position based on the price conditions and not base on what they feel. Technical play an important role for having a good trade without emotion. You can use it to determine a good price level for selling and buying. Doing this will give you peace of mind that you are doing the right thing rather than rely on your emotion for your decision.
1554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading activity is 13x larger than any other exchange on: October 09, 2022, 04:51:06 PM
No doubt more than 80% of the people will say their favourite exchange is Binance.
It’s all due to the way Binance has respected his traders.
Binance had also made trading easy and all thanks to it’s cool yet easy interface.
Now they are present in the market for more than many years, so definitely when a newbie wants to join any trading platform, they will go for Binance.
This is also for the reason for which binance has the highest trading activity then any other exchange.

They are the first exhange too that offers there own utility token to lower trading fees that gives a huge benefit to there user and also they are the one who introduced a bunch of giveaways and tournaments with huge rewards to encourage there users to trade since they are returning part of there profit to there user. They are the first exchange who cares a lot to there customers so they deserve the popularity they have right now. Other shit exchange like Binance has zero tolerance and consideration to reward there user which is the reason why they left behind by Binance despite they are the first exchange who got the spotlight.
1555  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack experience so far so good but I have a few questions on: October 09, 2022, 02:43:19 PM
you should ask in the casino you're playing if they will do refund so you will have a peace of mind.

This is the best thing to do. OP can ask their customer support about it. If they say that they will pay their users incase of hacking then it should be stated on their ToS to serve as assurance to its users.

I do think that gambling websites have more layers of security than crypto exchanges. So far since I learned about crypto, I haven't heard of them being hacked particularly those who we know that have a good reputation.

Actually there is no need to ask that on customer since its already stated on the ToS of every casino under the liability. Most of the casino has a special provision they don’t give any warranty on any loss of the player including when the business is close. There is a clesr note in the ToS that you are accepting all written aggrement for there services including the liability part since the user has a freedom to use or not the casino.

There is no such thing as insurance in casino because this business is on hih risk. You are definitely already started gambling the moment you deposit your balance in there.
1556  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards recession ? on: October 09, 2022, 01:10:34 PM

How can we make sure to survive the fall ?
- Can cryptocurrencies work in this environment?
-The current ups and downs in cryptocurrencies have certainly made it hard to breathe for the investors
-What can we do to make sure we survive the whole economic recession? ( Certainly don't put all your money in the banks )

If I am not mistaken the last bull run started after the worldwide spread of COVID-19. When the stock and forex market was collapsing crypto market was rising. The Crypto market is not like other markets though it has some impact related to those markets. If the stock, bond, and real estate market is going to shrink, people will have no choice but to buy gold, silver, or bitcoin. Everybody wants to keep their asset's PPP power stable.

IIRC, Crypto dumps hard same as stocks and forex during that time even after the pandemic. The bull run starts same with stocks and forex recovery not what you implying that crypto is the only one pumping. I have both stocks and crypto that time so I’m certain that they are both gaining value at that particular moment. Crypto is just gaining fast that stock market that is why everyone in crypto overlook the event as crypto is only rising and the rest is dumping.

I believe whales use this opportunity to create money on crypto since its too much volatile that time while the price is at the bottom. They will low risk of losing of they invest back then since most of the weak hands sold while they are freely scooping cheap tokens in the market like Microstrategy did last bull run.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 09, 2022, 12:20:25 PM
I'm sure by now you have read about a casino review site where the admins are trusted members of Bitcointalk, which  I believe is good for the community because they have a good roadmap and we all know their capability as gambling reviewers
but what if reputable members here decided to put their own casino will you support them and will this become a conflict of interest if they are already or have promoted casinos in the present or in the past, what's your take on this?
Maybe in the future, we'll have one.

Yes if they have good bonuses and promotion that is better on the existing crypto casino. Trust issue on crypto casino is not a big deal anymore because there are already many casino that proved there honesty for more than many years of operating without any major issue. So even if the casino is owned by trusted user here or not as long as they provide a good service and have a gambling license then I don’t mind playing at all on this casino.

This owner background thing is not a huge factor anymore on choosing casino due to a lot of available reputable casino out there.
1558  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: October 09, 2022, 11:46:20 AM
Hey Bitcointalkers,

What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

There have been a lot of successful yet simple games in online casinos like Heads or Tails, Over/Under, and more. We are looking to see what games you guys love and wonder if we can turn them into an online betting game!
It might be difficult to implement, but a game like Rubik's cube is very fun for players to compete against each other if it's pvp or even against many people at once, to get ranked by sharing the results of the prize.
I don't think it will be easy to turn the Rubik's cube game into a digital game because as far as I know, the game is a game that has a physical form and we have to move the blocks one by one so that they can become a single unit.

Maybe it will require VR technology so we can touch the Rubik's cube and move blocks to other blocks. If this game can be made into a gambling game, we can play PVP or against many people at once in one round. It will be fun for us to play.

Games like this is always at risk on cheating since a hacker can always developed a software to program a bot that will play for them. There is a reason why skill based games is not commonly seen in the casino because it can be cheated since players play virtually and no one can check if the user is playing for themselves or using a bot.

Only games that is purely luck based or combined with skills and luck are possible to apply on gambling because you are not gambling if you are betting on your skills and not by your luck.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If this works out then gaming on the blockchain is going to another level on: October 08, 2022, 05:17:20 PM
They must offer something unique that will make gamers and avid fan of Xbox and Playstation use them. It will be hard to compete with two popular console since many already into it even way before. If they will be able to showcase it properly and can promote appealingly then it can have a chance to be notice in the market. Crypto enthusiasts might try it but gamers or users of playstation and xbox will look for more to switch.
1560  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to BTC & the rest of crypto if the US will default on its debt? on: October 08, 2022, 01:29:20 PM
I know that folks like Warren Buffett / Alan Greenspan told us the US will never default on its debt but just in theory, how much impact the default will have on BTC and crypto? Should we even worry that "printing" will stop?

https://www.yahoo.com/video/warren-buffett-explains-the-simple-reason-why-the-us-will-never-default-on-its-debt-185105213.html

Assuming US will default on loan means there is a serious economic crisis or they are in war. Crypto market will surely plummeted since US controls a significant protion of global economy and its a major disaster that they will defaulted on there loan. I know some of us will think that price will pump if this happened since people will find alternative currency to get out on USD but the actual scenario will be worst and I think people will still choose different currency as first option rather than Bitcoin since the world will surely in panic when that time comes.
