701  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ MEMs LIST of GAMBLING SITES ★★★ on: April 06, 2015, 10:56:32 AM
Will the list be updated again soon?
Can you update me on the list's actuality?

mem hasn't come back since last September.
It is unlikely he will suddenly come back to update this thread in the near future.

702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: April 06, 2015, 09:32:53 AM
An interesting, safer, yet slower strategy is to play:

- 2X Payout

- Double your Wager on WIN - Up to 3 Times (Ex. 0.01; 0.02; 0.04)

- After 3rd Win Reset to Base (0.01 in above example)

- Reset to base after any loss.

Try it. Wink

CD

It is called anti-martingale or reverse martingale, which doesn't work as well.

Let's call it a round when you reset your bet size to the base value. There are 4 different scenarios for each round.

WWW: Chance = 49.5%^3, profit = 0.01+0.02+0.04 = 0.07
WWL: Chance = 49.5%*49.5%*50.5%, profit = 0.01+0.02-0.04 = -0.01
WL: Chance = 49.5%*50.5%, profit = 0.01-0.02= -0.01
L: Chance = 50.5%, profit = -0.01

So, you have 12.13% to win 0.07 and 87.87% to lose 0.01, still resulting to a negative EV.

Good news :

My strategy that introduced in above really works .

Someone wrote the lua script in dicebot and used it and makes so profit till now .

Proof :

-snip-

Start by 18K doges , made profit x5 in 50K bets ( almost 20 hours ) .

Don't be lazy wrote the script and make inifite Money and pull down all dice casinos .

Having a profit in a purely luck game doesn't indicate your strategy is working. It simply indicates the gambler was having some good luck.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: April 06, 2015, 09:19:52 AM
Dosent exist strategy to win since there is a minimum and maximum limit bet.
Martingale will work without those limits!

Even if the house doesn't care about its bankroll management, there will still always be a max limit for you, ie. min(your bankroll, house bankroll).

And even with a very low min limit (when you bet with a cheap altcoin) and a very high max limit (when both you and that site have a huge bankroll), martingale is still not going to help you beat the house in the long term when the game is -EV.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto-Games.net - Provably Fair DICE & SLOT (1% House edge)| up to 14.5k Faucet on: April 06, 2015, 08:56:43 AM
We decided to offer ONLY 0.8% House edge for DICE game.

That's lower than most bitcoin/altcoins dice websites!
Are you sure it's the lowest house edge? safedice has 0.5% house edge. anyway it's really good that you lowered the house edge. Grin
I didn't said the lowest, I said lower than most  Wink

Another point to note is that safedice only supports bitcoin, while you can play with a few other altcoins here with a 0.8% edge.
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Raffle + Free Point Raffle on: April 06, 2015, 08:48:07 AM
To collect the free points do I need to buy some ticket ? Please give little more detail as there on site I didn't see any information on main page . What I saw were just few tickets to purchase and that's all .

The info is listed as the second Q&As in https://www.cointoast.com/raffle/4

2. How to get more POINT ?
You can collect free POINTS every hour in account reward section.
Leave meaningful comment, post or suggestion on reddit/twitter.

So it doesn't seem you have to pay anything to try the site.
706  Other / Meta / Re: I'VE BEEN HACKED!!! on: April 04, 2015, 02:32:06 AM
To recover your account, you need to send theymos a PM to prove that you owned the address. It can be done by signing a message with your bitcoin address or PGP key.

For details, please read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0.
707  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any new dice websites? on: April 03, 2015, 03:16:56 PM
Anyone know of good Bitcoin dice sites, preferably new so i can invest?

While new sites usually have a smaller bankroll and so your investment will share a larger % of the house profit, they usually have less players especially high-rollers. In the end, what really matters is their turnover rate and their trustworthiness.

If your posts and threads are not deleted, your activity should never go down unless you've exceeded the cap for the interval being calculated correct?

Correct. Your activity level won't go down unless your posts are deleted.
I am not too sure what you mean by "exceeded the cap for the interval being calculated" though.

What are the odds of losing a 49.5% dice game, 10 times in a row?
Website: bitdice.me

If you just play a total of 10 bets, the odds would be 49.5%^10 = 0.0883%.
But if you play hundreds and thousands of bets, it would be not uncommon to see such a loss streak.

713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Secure hot wallet? on: March 30, 2015, 05:45:39 PM
Blockchain wallet is better than Coinbase wallet ? Please help me for that question !

IMHO yes. For coinbase, you don't have your private keys, and so if it goes down, you will lose control on your bitcoin.
For blockchain.info, you can make a backup of your wallet and can import it in another wallet client/service at any moment.

Blockchain is always sync ? Can we transfer BTC to a exchange any time ?

Blockchain.info do have some occasional downtime.
714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online wallet for my spending money on: March 30, 2015, 05:08:34 PM
Internet-based wallets store your private keys online. These wallets are unusually controlled by a third party via the Internet. Some of these online wallets can be connected to mobile and desktop wallets, duplicating addresses on various devices. One of the greatest advantages of online wallets remains its accessibility — you can access your funds anywhere where there is access to the Internet. The greatest disadvantage of such wallets lies in the involvement of a third party — someone else controls your funds bringing the users back to centralisation. Most reputable online Bitcoin wallets are Coinbase, Circle, Blockchain, and Xapo.

Whatever Bitcoin wallet you choose, it is important to protect it from hacking. By encrypting your passwords, backing up your wallet, and possibly using multi-signature you can ensure safety and security of your Bitcoins.

For blockchain.info, your wallet file is first encrypted on the client side before uploading to their server, so they don't and can't control your bitcoin indeed.
There are also multisig online wallets like greenaddress.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.10.0 has been released on: March 30, 2015, 04:58:08 PM
i don't know why but since 3 days ago my Bitcoin Core 0.10.0 wallet is not connecting to more than 8 nodes while i was having more than 30 connections before. i didn't change anything in my modem/router config.

Could you go to the "Join the network" section on https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/ and check if you are accepting incoming connections?

is anyone else having the same problem?

Not for me.

I also want ot earn Bitcoin but I don't know how to create a faucet and I wonder how to earn from it.

It is fairly easy to create a faucet nowadays. There are sites like faucetbox that offers you a script, and there are some step by step tutorials like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=886132.0.

You can sell your ad banners to earn some bitcoin if you have a good traffic.

But i heard the 20000000 winner didn't claim the prize in the chatting room and here. I guess he was sleeping while his computer was rolling the NO.20000000 roll.  Shocked Shocked

So does he get 0.5btc prize?  Shocked

According to the original rule (before the consolation prizes were added), the prize will be given to the person rolling bet 20,000,001.

-   In the event of a player not claiming their prize within 30 minutes in the chat section, the person who rolled #20,000,001 will win the prize, with the same rules applying.

We are currently waiting for the our guys who were on night shift to get back online. #20,000,001 was also not claimed, I think the next one claimed was #20,000,003 and #20,000,004, so they will get the prizes.

I see. The persons rolling bet 20,000,000 and 20,000,001 will be upset as hell when they realize they have forfeited their prizes lol. Grin
