781  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: usb graphics card mining on: February 23, 2015, 10:56:16 PM
no one is talking about scrypt or ASIC's. I already have a pci-e enclosure with GPU's and am once again tinkering

Not talking to you, talking to the OP:

Any chance of mining on a usb graphics card?
Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-USB-3-0-to-VGA-Video-Graphic-Card-Multi-Display-Cable-Adapter-/310723313040?pt=UK_Computing_Sound_Vision_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item48588d7d90
Any other way that I can mine scrypt via usb?

I have only a laptop so true graphics card mining (i.e. a pci-e graphics card) is not an option at the moment. I know USB ASIC miners exist, but only for SHA-256, and most SHA-256 coins are difficult to make a profit from due to all the ASIC miners out there.
Any usb miners for Scrypt?
Thanks

In case you didn't notice, that OP was posted in Oct 2013...
782  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain Wallet transfer fee on: February 23, 2015, 10:40:20 PM
If you really want to use faucets (I don't suggest) but don't want to pay a high transaction fee, you could use your deposit address on an exchange or off-chain gambling site to collect the tiny amount of bitcoin. You can later withdraw the balance to your personal wallet when you feel it is large enough and you just need to pay a normal withdrawal fee once.

It is a ponzi. You should know from the very beginning that it will go down sooner or later.

admin,
i deposit but not showing on my investments.
please check.
TX ID : f19acb67e671b96be5e774bb2a51bbeff1251be66425c3c44f0fd6e712ab5e83

In case you didn't notice, the list of "investment" is completely fake.
If you check the first address listed (ie 1BxMntRgXBwoJmj6rPifrsGq8TWfdneqqi), it has made no transaction.
For the others, the time and confirmation don't match with the blockchain at all.

Lastly, this ponzi claims to have 18976 investments when it is less than a day old lol.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: February 22, 2015, 10:33:31 PM
I have wagered roughly 50 btc in total in several different sites. I lost just a small amount, but if bonus, giveaway, tips are included, I made some profits from gambling. Smiley
787  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: CryptoCoinX2.com- 100% PROFIT in 100 HRS - 10% INSTANT REF PAY on: February 22, 2015, 10:27:59 PM
Just paid 0.27 BTC, thank you. But I will not play again  Grin
Just hit and run.. nice trick mate,, becarefull for web like this, he will run away with your bitcoin

our website cryptocoinx2.com  pays   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Though it seems to be paying for now, you will need more and more deposits to support the ponzi and in the end it will collapse for sure.
788  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDice.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Low 0.5% Edge ★ Referral ★ Fast Cashout ★ Fair on: February 22, 2015, 10:04:33 PM
even though with profit i didn't felt house edge is 50% of PD.
Also initially there were wins but suddenly behavior got changed which i din't like, it should be stable.

House edge affects your chance to win a bet, but the result is still random.
It is like in tossing a coin, even if the chance is 50-50, you don't expect to see "HTHTHTHTHTHTHTHTHTHTHT".

With a 1% edge on PD, you will have 49.5% chance to win a x2 bet.
With a 0.5% edge on SafeDice, you will have 49.75% chance to win a x2 bet.
But, you may or may not win more in SafeDice. It still depends on your luck.

Edge varies up to 4%?

Nope, 4% isn't the limit. It will be higher when your "profit on win" increases.

For example, if you bet 0.1 btc for 50%, the edge is 0.5%.
If you bet 1 btc for 50%, the edge is ~1.54%.
If you bet 10 btc for 50%, the edge is ~12%.
If you bet 100 btc for 50%, the edge is ~38%.

Stunna noticed the problem and is working on it already. There is no ETA given though.

Is there any news for current offline?

Working on this now, for those that are on the website it seems to be working fine but I'm aware that most people cannot load the site at this moment. This should be a really simple fix and things should be going smoothly again after that point.
793  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Are people winning big coin from Weekly Ponzi? on: February 20, 2015, 12:18:04 AM
Nobody seems to know what I'm talking about.

This Weekly Ponzi game isn't hiding the fact that some people will lose, he's pitching it as a gambling site, he's saying that the last people in are the people that lose...like musical chairs, you don't know when the music will stop but if you're the last person to sit down you'll be without a chair.

Still, nobody has used Weekly Ponzi and won?

I don't play in ponzi, but from what I heard, there are some bugs in weekly ponzi. Multiple persons have reported that the payment orders doesn't follow the transaction time correctly.
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's the best dice site?? on: February 20, 2015, 12:05:30 AM
Want to try something new besides primedice any ideas?

Other than PD, you may try Safedice if you are a small player or PRC if you like investing or playing huge bets.

Looking at the first few replies, it seems the site has worked for at most 2 hours only. Wink

Glad your site got shut down.
The site is down already, when your announcement thread was made just 4 hours ago lol?
Your site is down and no one want to invest in those scam ponzi

799  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Bot Challenge on: February 17, 2015, 01:02:48 PM
I would say yes. Once there is a winner, the strategy can be turned into a betting bot.

Bot for dice site?

The bot users should bear in mind that the winning strategy works great on that particular client and server seed only, but it may fail miserably with another seed pair.

nice to come to pd today and check my refer. not bad for 1 day
oh wow how much did he have to gamble to earn so much for you?

Well he receive 10% commission and PD has a house edge of 1%, so those 131 players have wagered a total of 178.9 btc. Smiley
