961  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am i bad to this friend if i refuse to loan him some money in bad economy on: March 08, 2024, 09:42:40 PM
Now I am profiting from my Bitcoin investments then and one of my colleagues is now in dear need of financial help, he needs some help, not life-threatening but money, and now I am not ready to loan him any money as long as it affects my overall Bitcoin holdings.
You know the answer bud. You have to say NO because these friends of ours are just using us as an option even if they have another greater option. You have admitted that you're not ready to loan him and you have taken your want away instead of taking them close to you with that money of yours. You've sacrificed for how long and then there's this guy will approach you out of nowhere trying to loan you some money. Just say politely that you're not going to lend him some money or if you can give him a little portion of your spare money that you're okay in not getting paid with it so you just can get rid of him trying to ask you once in a while. I've been there and done that, they're quick to ask money but when you ask them to pay money, they're turning into dust and gone in the wind.  Tongue
agree with you, if the OP doesn't actually want to lend the money. it's better to say firmly that you can't give him a loan. You could say your money is being invested, so you can't give it away quickly and it will take a long time to withdraw it.
If I were him, I wouldn't disclose that my money is invested because that borrower will anticipate that you've got the money to lend and you even attain to invest and that's why there is a tendency that borrower will force you or will tease you to lend him because you've been well with finances as you're able to invest unlike him.

but if you still have a sense of humanity, you can just buy their goods. That way they are still helped financially, you can still have what they bought before. or just give away a small portion of your profits. It's time to share your good fortune with those who need it more.
This is what I am saying, as long as the amount is affordable and it's not a huge amount for you and won't considered as a loss, it's better for you to just give that help and tell him that's the best you can do and next time, it might be a no can do for him already because you've got a lot of responsibilities to cater.
962  Economy / Economics / Re: Our decision making is responsible for the outcomes in our ways on: March 08, 2024, 08:25:31 PM
There are people that don't want to get noticed with how reckless they are with their spending habits. Instead of giving thanks to you for reminding them to be wiser with how they spend money, they're going to tell you to stop doing that and mind your own business. Well, the concern is there and if you're a true friend, you'd definitely be happy that someone is looking after you. Because if not, no one's gonna be there to correct you out with these mistakes that you do. Other than that, you know that all actions that we do have an equal reaction to our lives. So, if you do good then you know that something good is going to comeback to you.
963  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 08, 2024, 11:33:48 AM
Macbook or any laptop for productivity isn't a luxury but it's an investment to be considered because you'd use that for your job and tasks which will earn you money. Luxury are things that you don't really need but you are able to purchase it extravagantly like you have tons of spare money and you have nothing to use for that. I'd go for the high quality things that I'll need for my productivity but I'll avoid spending money on luxurious things that I may just be disappointed later on because it has the same purpose as my other thing. Things like a macbook, despite being expensive but it's proven to be worth the purchase because you can use that for several years before you upgrade again.

Have you bought something that people feel is rather too expensive and that you could have purchased a lower version of it? What was your inexperience like after that?
I think a car and also with devices as you've exampled it with computers and laptops. Those folks that are living in a country where commute is toxic, they'd rather purchase an expensive car and treat it as an investment because it is giving them convenience while they travel. We know that cars do depreciate over time but the value and convenience that it provides you is worth the buck. There's a lot to justify that but many of the members here live in a country where they have a better public transport and they don't see having cars as something productive but just rather an expensive stuff and luxury.
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC power on: March 07, 2024, 11:40:15 PM
Hello all BTC
can we talk about the source behind BTC price
Demand.

yes there is only 21m btc but iI think that it is not enough
It's more than enough and that whole supply isn't mined yet. For us to see the entire supply of 21M get mined will take a century and more.

it make anyone reach just by bying and hodling it
we normally get rich by working, studying or something else but not hodling
You don't say that to the early adopters that have bought Bitcoin a lot with just a few spare of their money. That only proved that holding can make someone rich. You don't get rich by studying but the byproduct of it if you ever learned a skill or two.

there is that guy who keep all his time studying and working and get paid just to pay rent, food and his family (life should be like that)
there is that guy who never studied or work just get some btc and hodl it  Huh

thank's
I don't understand you really. What you have to understand is we've got all means of timelines and how we can get well in life and you're just in the forum where everyone will say that holding bitcoin is one of the best idea and investing techniques that we ever did.

966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going to touch all time highs on: March 07, 2024, 09:05:05 PM
It is reasonable that it's going to touch $70k anytime soon, we've seen that it's so close from there and will also surpass that price. But for now, we have to wait until what will happen next. It was followed up by a huge dump that had shook the weaklings and those that have weak hearts. With that, for sure that the whales have taken huge profits as well while many retailers have been scared to death when they've seen that it had pumped to $69k and then within a few moments of their lives, it had plunged to $61k. It is no brainer that we'll back there soon and this is why many are counting on that this is the cycle wherein we'll see Bitcoin touching $100k anytime soon but most likely, next year.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best way to go about making a crypto casino. on: March 07, 2024, 12:24:15 PM
Look for the real ones that have worked for a casino with this matter. They can serve as your consultant as well and can work with you with other things as you try to establish what you are trying to build up. Go with the ones that have experiences already into building a casino because this is the hardest part of whom you're going to choose to work with you until you get up there. At the same time, I know that believing in oneself is a big thing on this end but don't be too confident so that you just don't break your expectations and don't get frustrated when you're not able to deliver what you're expecting and thought of doing so.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive withdrawal of Bitcoin on: March 07, 2024, 10:56:10 AM
Anytime the price of Bitcoin skyrockets, there would be massive selling of Bitcoin and this practice(s) have always lead to the price of Bitcoin falling back afterwards. During the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs, it was observed that the massive selling of Bitcoin when the price got to $48,000 made the price to fall to $38,000, it was after the corrections that the price began to soar higher again till now that it has set a new ATH of about $69,210 and immediately, massive selling and withdrawal of Bitcoin was also noticed.

Wouldn't this continues practice of withdrawing and selling off whenever the price skyrockets going to slow the volatility of Bitcoin to continue skyrocketing? Since the price automatically starts experiencing a dip after every massive withdrawal.
It's normal to have these withdrawals to come whether we're in a bull run or not. It's for everyone to decide whether they want to sell or not and that can't be stopped when people wanting to sell what they are up to by that time. Just expect that at any price range of Bitcoin, there's always people that will massively sell their bitcoins and expect even the dormant accounts that has hundreds to thousands of bitcoins that have been held for a long time might also get into withdrawals and will eventually get sold. What you're worrying about is with these withdrawals and sell offs in the market when it's normal on any market to have these actions. You, as an individual of this market will also have to sell whenever it is necessary for you to do so and yet, other people aren't worried about you and us trying to sell when we need to do it.
969  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WAZIRX is a fraud indian platform dont trust it they stolen my 1000 USD on: March 06, 2024, 11:12:35 PM
I've heard them before that they're legit and operational in India. In fact, just like any other exchanges they also have their own token which is named after the exchange and listed on Binance: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wazirx/
But with all the details of how they've scammed you should be told and tell us more about it. I don't mean just because I've heard them long before and they have a token means that they're outright genuine. Though some problems do exists in every exchange for their customers when they're not satisfied with the service or when something goes wrong with their accounts and trading activities.

971  Economy / Speculation / Re: A whale took profits for the first time since 2010 sold 1000 Bitcoins on: March 06, 2024, 08:34:56 PM
I doubt it that person it's all that he's got. Yes, 1000 Bitcoins sure are a lot of holdings but if he's been there since the early days of Bitcoin, it's possible that he's got more on his stash and he's kept a lot of it ready to be sold in the market and preparing for his retirement. I think that if there are dormant accounts and bitcoins that have been sold in the market, whoever holds it deserve the money that he's gonna have. But the thig is, these medias are making it look like it is a scary thing when an old account starts moving those bitcoins into exchanges as if it's not a normal thing to hold for a long time and send them to the exchange for that person to profit. And if that person can afford to sell 1k bitcoins, I am pretty sure that he's gonna wait for some more to release the other bitcoins that he's stacked for a very long time.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just a friendly Bitcoin friend reminder - High price = more scams on: March 06, 2024, 07:15:45 PM
If you can dispose that email where you've been receiving constantly scam and phishing attempts that's much better. Because it is not going to stop once your email has been on the hands and database of these scammers. They'll keep sending you attempts everyday until they get tired and not just that, if they pass on your email or their database to another scammer, they'll just rinse and repeat the process and that's why we've been receiving spam emails from these unknown people. Once your email has been exposed and recorded by these people, you'll always see them on your inbox. That's why it's best to separate your personal email, your crypto email and other stuff that you with such registrations.
973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 06, 2024, 11:33:50 AM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
That's the normal thing in the market. You buy when you're able to buy and decide until how long you're going to hold it. And the same goes for selling, you sell at the rate that you're satisfied and no matter what happens next will be out of your control. You have no control over the market so if you sell and then suddenly it pumps, what's the matter with that? You'll regret because you've sold too early? That's normal because not everyone that sells are selling at the top and no one knows if it's the top already. That's why plan all of your activities whether you'll buy or sell, as long as you're able to plan that, no regrets afterwards for any decision that you do.
974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't understand you people... on: March 05, 2024, 11:31:04 PM
When I see that the price is flying down steeply, I sell everything and let it fall down. When it stops, then I buy cheap and I have earned...
Actually, this is good on your end because you know what to do and you just have to rinse and repeat this strategy of yours and you'll never know how rich you'll be ending up from doing it so on this market.

BTC is going down now, so let it go and buy when it stops. We can all make money from it and then we will again get it up together!
And while us the holders, just do nothing but to watch everyone get liquidated and do their hustle and bustle in action.

Unfortunately, there are always a few "geniuses" who go against the flow and they are buying when they should be selling, and that destroying everyone's earnings...
We can't blame them for that. We are geniuses in our own paths and ways. If that's what they've done and this is the first time they encounter this bull run, that's understadable. But if you've been sitting here for years and you still do that mistake, it's your mistake to correct and that's still not a shameful thing because no one can easily win against this market but base on your experience and decision making.

I'm seriously upset because a couple of such  " smart "  people just ruined my chance to make up for a 15k loss... I would like to kick them somewhere!
LOL, just be grateful that you're on the right path doing the right thing instead of making significant loss that others are still trying to recover with.
975  Economy / Speculation / Re: Patterns to the halving Changed | New investors fate? on: March 05, 2024, 09:16:22 PM
My question is: what's the fate of late investors?
Does this new price or trend that seems to evade the usual of a bullish trend after the halving affect anything significantly?
It will make them even more exciting because they see the change that instead of there's a need to wait for a year, the change and impact of it happened before the halving. ETFs are the game changer now and they have added more capitalization to Bitcoin and as well as the demand which even helped it out that we've seen these high prices again without the halving yet.

My guess would be to expect a fairly typical timeline - same pattern, just came early thanks to the ETFs. So now I'd expect a bull peak in the next 12 months, and 2025 to be the crash year instead of 2026. But time will tell.
Typically, it goes 3rd-4th quarter but that makes sense if we are this early. It's possible that by next year, we'd see the crash on late 2026. That's possible but you're right, only time will tell and all of these changes that we're seeing are unexpected.
976  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 05, 2024, 07:55:08 PM
Possible that in some parts that a certain website is blocked by the ISP and in where you're located, it's accessible. But as bc.game was able to solve this problem by providing several mirror links that are really helpful for users that deal with this kind of problem.

I use Brave to cross-check whether it's me, my ISP or the service I want to access in general. Brave allows you to start new tabs via a Tor integration, so you can definitely rule out local and ISP problems.
Me either and if that's enough, there are other browsers that I can use as well but it seems that everything is working out for him now through the mirror links.

Yup! I agree this is nation that we call India is so big that ISP are now slow. It is also a possibility that ISPs are now fed up with blocking websites. The government and the party ruling now is not so good with crypto. The next problem that India is facing is money laundering. I think that might be the reason why for some the casino access is banned while I can still visit it.
All have the possibility as long as it involves the ISP and the government. But this is all good now mate, good thing that bc.game has its supported mirror links for troubles like this and everyone can still enjoy to have access if there are accessing problems from the main website.

977  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game account locked?! on: March 05, 2024, 01:46:40 PM
I don't have any answer from them! I just can't login:

https://iili.io/JVBcO0b.png

I sent email 4 days ago and I got no answers...

My USDTC acc is 0x590C8d92750F44E388666F01e2769d670f636F35 in case the bc support op can solve it
If you've sent those asked details by the support 4 days ago, you should ask them some follow up on how's your concern doing right now. The instructions and conditions being asked on that chat by the support representative will help you solve your problem but this time, follow it up and ask some updates about it if you've sent and provided them already all of those information.
978  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Nano Ledger S Plus Firmware and Ledger Live Update? on: March 05, 2024, 11:09:19 AM
At the moment, I do not have access to my seed phrase where I am located.  Thus you never do a firmware update when you don't have access to your seed phrase right?  I mention that I travel so because of that, I don't have access to my seed phrase.  So there would be no issue still using the nano ledger s plus as is right?
You're not required to have your seed phrase if you want to update your firmware. As I haven't updated yet my firmware as well, what if the process will require you to write some of it? I wouldn't even have the guts to update the firmware when my seeds are not around me. My experience long time ago when the firmware update failed, I have to restore it through my seeds. Are you in a hurry? Why not just go home and have your seed phrase and do the firmware if you want to just to be safe?
979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Mistakes?? on: March 05, 2024, 09:36:16 AM
What you need to avoid is the influence of other people with your decision making. Whether you wanna buy or sell, it should be you that must have the last decision. It's okay to gather and survey people what they're up to when you have something in your mind that you aren't sure of. That's a normal thing to canvas people and ask for their opinion about what you are unsure of or with a topic or thing that you haven't understand clearly. But even with that, never ever let someone influence you just because they've said something good or bad with that. Always verify the answers and opinion of people or contemplate before you follow those guides that have been given to you especially on this market that's all about investing and your money.
980  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed and hardware wallets on: March 04, 2024, 09:00:56 PM
It seems to me that being able to review restoration words is very important for a beginner, as you don't always have the right reflexes at first.
If this is a matter of personal eyesight and reflexes of eyesight and coordination with hand, I know what you mean here and not everyone can clearly look at it. But worry not because there is no time or shot clock like a ticking bomb for you to write and save those seeds/recovery words. So, hurry not with that because it is going to take time and you have to check them clearly upon doing so.

The question is: can we check the restoration words on Ledger Live
No, you can't. Unless you want to avail their Ledger Recover which is a big no.

if we've lost them, do we have to send them to another wallet and write down the new words?
Say, that you're still able to access the ledger wallet and you have lost the seeds. You'll have to verify the transaction on the actual device before sending. I think that I understand you here. Yes, send it to another wallet like a desktop wallet, sweep that hardware wallet and generate new recovery phrases and after writing them down and backing it up. Send back the balances on that new wallet that you generated you've sent before.
