181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Becareful with telegram wallet! on: April 04, 2024, 08:16:12 PM
That sucks, I know that Telegram is trying to innovate and having some wallets on it is part of their plan. But knowing that they've been swarmed by scammers, and the customer service that they have is quite hard to reach. It's best to just use them as is being a messaging app. We've seen casinos building their platform on its own platform and it's not really appealling at all. Now, with vast projects that have been using them as a medium of communication to their users, I think this is the first time that I've seen someone who used them as a wallet and then the user's number got blocked by itself. Keep on appealling and contacting Telegram because if they're the one who blocked him, they are the only one who can unblock him as well.

More money means more cash flow to the economy of a country. And not just that, the stability that it is getting from its citizen through several factors like the industries that are being generated by the entire nation. That's why citizens are really playing an important role to economic growth but because of certain policies and politics, it seems that they're being neglected and the people from the government are not giving them the importance that they should have.
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed phrase backup against natural disaster areas on: April 04, 2024, 11:13:26 AM
It is important to backup your seed phrase but some people said the backup is not good online but which is true because we have seen how hackers was able to see some people seed phrase online and steal their coins.
It's never been ideal to store your seed phrases online whether it's on a cloud storage, email or spreadsheets or whatever that's online even on personal messages on social media platforms.

But I have been thinking recently that how can people in countries with natural disaster be able to backup their seed phrase offline? An example is the flooding that occured in Pakistan like 2 or 3 years ago that submerged 1/3 of the country under water. Even if you backup your seed phrase offline in many locations, it is possible that kind of flood can lead to permanent loss of your offline seed phrase.
Aside from engraving it with steel, those that are still into written forms through paper can use plastic envelopes or anything that are water proof for the covering of the plate or card where you've written your seeds. I know that it's not 100% fool proof but each ways have its own cons and it will depend on the situation of the owner on how to keep their seeds safe and the storages they use.

185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need some ideas on: April 04, 2024, 05:32:21 AM
Hey LM, isn't it that crypto is ban in your country? My concern is just what if one of the spy gets in to your group and try to have a screenshot of all of your members including the admins, moderators and everyone that's in there and will report you guys? Or the government lied low with the ruling of crypto in your country? I salute you for having this kind of initiative and spreading the knowledge that you have and gives back to your community. Now for the idea, I am sure that many of yours have already their wallet. What if you try to load a wallet with a $5 worth of any crypto and then you'd just drop it to your group and whoever gets it first it will be theirs. The lesson there is not to leave your private keys/seeds on the web. Also, try to let them research some trivias about the history of the entire crypto community that hasn't been known by you or by the majority.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I invest to BTC? on: April 03, 2024, 11:51:57 PM
When I asked some of my friends about wallets they gave me some p2p wallets. Don't know how secure and reliable they are.
I guess they mean about the P2P exchange where you actually have a wallet there but it's mostly used for trading there. It's not a good option to keep your bought Bitcoins there.

Want to know from the experts how secure and trustworthy is Trust Wallet and Metamask Wallet?
Trust wallet is known and owned by Binance but as for Metamask wallet, you cannot store Bitcoin there. Unless you're going to buy Bitcoin that's done through several chains like Bitcoin on BEP20, Wrapped BTC and other chains where it has been done so, cross it out with your choice if you only want to buy Bitcoin. Because metamask is mostly for altcoins mainly in Ethereum chain but it also supports other chains nowadays.

Which one would be best to use if secure and reliable? And if none of these two are trusted then name some trusted wallet!
You can start with Electrum.

I can't understand, 5 months ago you've posted and then you're saying that you've been into Bitcoin for 5 years? And with all the words, you keep on saying about "addicted". You probably are a heavy gambler and you're now transitioning into Bitcoin investing which is better on your situation. Well, I commend you if you've gained from investing in Bitcoin because not many gets into it and they try to look only at it as short term. If you're trying to trade Bitcoin, be careful because it's better to accumulate and hold than to trade.
the same is the advice I give people who is new into cryptocurrency and who is also new into bitcoin trading and the Bitcoin investment instead of you to join trading that you don't know the rudiment of it it is better for the person to accumulate it Bitcoin because holding a bitcoin for long time will it be better for you as a beginner than for you to join a trading that you don't know the procedures of trading, holding of a coin especially bitcoin for long time you will be more advantageous than trading because there's every possibility that on the process of holding your BTC the price might increase due to the current demand and you make profit towards that time that is why it is good for someone to accumulate Bitcoin hold it for long time.
What I have noticed with most beginners nowadays, they're too adventurous. We are advising them the chill method of getting into Bitcoin and that's through buying and holding. But because of the various traders and investors success being shared on social medias, they want to be on the same success as them and that's why they're going on with a lot of memecoins instead of going traditional and safe method of investing with the approach that we're suggesting to them.

I think it's his friend that's addicted to gambling and they've both started in bitcoin at the same time, I think that's what I'm getting at in this post. If OP was able to make a decent profit out of the 100 USD that he has started off of, I think that OP is already careful about his investment, that kind of profit doesn't really scream recklessness so carelessness is definitely out of OP's mind and to you OP, I hope you're going to get more profit in the near future, no big losses may come to you and hopefully you'll enjoy your trading journey with even more profits.
Yeah, any amount of gain is a sound investment for him and he just need to be consistent. We all want everybody to profit on investing in Bitcoin but we're also giving advises on how careful they should be and just like me, I am not a good English speaker and that's not my first language and a storyteller but sometimes, some confusing words that are in the story really gets me. Anyway, as we all understand everything that's been said, it's all about the same strategies that we do for Bitcoin.
188  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Two Kucoin Founders accused of violating anti-laundering laws etc. on: April 03, 2024, 09:32:18 PM
Every exchange handles their issues differently but it looks like kucoin will easily get away with this. But if we're going to analyze these issues being thrown to exchanges, it's likely that most of them have their dark secrets.

I believe government agencies are selective in filing cases. They're not doing their jobs with integrity. Hell, they could even be used by rich and powerful companies like BlackRock to weed out competition. But what can we do? KuCoin failed to register with FinCEN. It failed to register with CFTC. It failed to comply with AML policies. This goes on. They will have to answer for all these failures.
I agree and if we're going to take a look at the timing they're doing it, it's been done before the bull run or when the market has already been up. So, that little thing that we can connect through it could really be in favor of these agencies that are pushing the sues to exchanges like kucoin and they might not be the last one.

What's with the hate of that man when he did nothing to you? He's not wrong when he said people should enjoy their lives and live it to the fullest because we only have one life to live. I think he's hit your ego and he can live lavishly and boast his riches through the microphone. So what if your instincts tells you what's your opinion about him and coming from you, you're not even sure. Just let people do what they wanna do with their money but some privileges from the ones who have a better status in life can do anything they want. Whether they have inherited the riches or worked hard for it, what is it for us? We have our own journey and if you think that someone like him is annoying while both of you sits on the same place then get out and let him pass through is own time of having fun and have fun when he's done, it's simple as that. But you're also right with the example that there are people that could be like him but in real life they're broke but again, what is it for us for their status in life?
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let the countdown begin❗️ on: April 02, 2024, 11:06:45 PM
For all crypto enthusiasts out there, how are you planning and preparing for potential market opportunities during this crucial period? Share your strategies, guys.
Stacking more. While the others have been looking for their treasures and golden opportunities with meme coins, they're forgetting that the market starter has always been Bitcoin. The same excuse every cycle that we'll get to see and they'd always whine about how expensive it is already but from there, they're going to see how it is to grow further when the halving is done and the cycle comes back with the bear market and will continue to show more adoption that we'll have globally. And when the bear's in, they'd tell the same thing that it's on an all time low which is still another high price for them that disables them to buy. Come on, it's always been the same excuse while many of the newbies have been stacking bitcoin and complains nothing at all with the hopes that with their DCA strategy it is going to reach them significant about of Bitcoin and will say that they've never regretted accumulating and holding it effortlessly.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unbacked stable coins are a big danger on: April 02, 2024, 09:50:30 PM
The definition of stablecoin is, that USD or any other fiat backs it.

This is free market, everyone can launch their own project whether it'd value depends on its demand and supply or like USDT, its value is pegged to USD but we never know the creator actually has reserves for the printed tokens or if they just do it out of thin air that's why it's not suitable for holding and people mainly uses it for trading.
And that issue is never dying for Tether. I have no updates if it's already done or they're able to prove their claim that they're 100% backed and has that reserve on their vaults. But for the likes of other stable coins that are made by centralized platforms and exchanges, they've got the eyes of the regulators hot on them and that's why they have to comply. I am not saying to choose them but each of them can have their own issue if it's about backing their own reserve so, choose wisely if you're going to keep your money in stablecoins during this bull run or with any season of the market.

But if people wanted to avoid the downsides of fiat, why would they peg their crypto to fiat? Do they not understand why it is important to get rid of their Fiat in the first place? Huh
1 BTC = 1 BTC.
Well said, money is safe and sound if it's in BTC as it's the actual money.
192  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A helping hand on: April 02, 2024, 08:20:22 PM
Thanks for letting me know but I knew about Roquu from the forum and I thought it was the best I share with him. But apart from being a trader, is Roquu best safe?
Telling if it's the best and safe won't be heard from anyone here. Those that have used them might say that they're the best but I guess that the majority of us here never used and never traded there. As for checking, it's a wallet with integrated exchange as well. Binance as an exchange will be suggested if it's about centralized platform that wanted to be suggested by a friend to his other friend. But if this works for you and you're aware that this is a centralized platform just as Binance that doesn't give you your private keys, then you should be aware of that.
193  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can or should you close and reopen binance account? on: April 02, 2024, 11:13:51 AM
Closing and reopening binance account will prevent him from doing so.
But how? Tell us the magic that you guys have found by doing this? It is not recommended to this trick and all you have to do is to comply with taxation that's being ruled in your country. Here is the scenario, you might have closed your account and requested Binance for it. There goes Binance, granting you with that. And you come back for the second time around as it's already deleted. You have created a new account and you pass onto their KYC process again, isn't that too hassle to do? Now, the problem might get on you when their system notices you that you've been on and off and why is that. I think there will be some additional questions that you'll need to answer on them when they ask you why you're like this which might cause you more trouble to face.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: April 02, 2024, 08:58:11 AM
I guess that the majority of the people in the world has got debt. Even the huge corporations, even countries and even small individuals have got their own debt. I am not into debt and I don't have mortgage nor car payments because I am avoiding them at all cost. I don't feel good when I've got obligation to pay and I have to think of it monthly for so many years. It is sucking my peace and that's why I am avoiding them. Maybe my debt is just a personal one from my loved ones and there's no string attached to it and no pressure at all. Unlike if we do it with the banks, they're going to take your collateral when you're not able to pay on time, you'll get countless reminders. So, if you can't pay the thing you want in cash, much better to save your peace and save money first.
Almost everyone at some points in time will need loans. But the difference is the purpose why the individual needs the loan. While some will need loans to start up business, some could need loan to celebrate finances birthday. No matter how insane this sounds, it happen and I have also witnessed it. Using loan to start up a small scale business is risky because the business could still die during the introduction stage. If there's anyway to save, it will be nice.
And there are riskier take up of loans and they're even crazier than setting up a business that's already risky. I've seen people taking loans just to go to concerts, vacations, celebrating of their birthdays and holidays. I think that's a bad debt and people who have been doing that has to change their way of taking loans and stop doing so. It's not going to give them a better use and they'll be categorized with the people that can't utilize and maximize the usage of loans. Unlike those risk takers and businessmen, they take loans for expansions and buying more stocks and etc for their businesses.

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you considered staking? on: April 01, 2024, 06:44:04 PM
Just out of curiosity,I went to the official website of Ethereum and found that the annual interest rate is only 3.3%.
I have considered staking but typically only for the POS coins like Ethereum. But if it's being offered by the exchange, I don't get to hold the private keys and that's one risk and the twist is that they're going to have more APY. The APY of it changes and that 3.3% could be lesser soon because the more stakers are there, the lesser APY that they're going to provide to everybody. While for the higher APYs and the others are too exaggerated, they're more risk compared to these low APYs.

199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your educated guess on BTC price at the end of 2024 on: April 01, 2024, 02:14:04 PM
What is your educated guess relating to the end of year BTC price?
Somewhere playing in between $70k-$80k. At least that's a very safe prediction for the price of Bitcoin for this year.

My personal assumption is 70K GBP (88K USD / 82K EURO), I may be pessimistic with my assumption but the risk management side of myself sees this as achievable.
That's a pessimistic approach and assumption of yours? I don't think that's even a negative prediction that you have.

In all honesty i'm unsure on the talk surrounding 79K GBP (100K USD / 92K EURO)
For this year, that can be 50/50. But if we'd be basing to the pattern in the past then it's possible, could be this year or by 2025.
