261  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 03, 2024, 08:21:57 PM
Like what it is being said, "teach them young" to save. And that principle will start from there and they'll have the idea on how money works coming from savings, to investing, to inflation, to economy and so on. While no one becomes rich by saving because you have to let your money work for you and the term saving for tomorrow is wrong. It should be "save for the rainy days", this is all about having the emergency money that you can pull out. But this narrative has changed overtime when there are a lot of assets that are liquid and you can always pull out when you are short and are in need of cash. As we're here, someone who's interested in investing in Bitcoin will also see himself that he's learning about investing in general because he has to learn about the market, news, charts, halving, some jargons and technicalities that are basically needed for one to know being invested to Bitcoin. And with this, an investor will bring this to any other investment that they're going to be interested with.
262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Latest news in crypto? on: March 03, 2024, 06:16:44 PM
Hello, since bitcoin is on the bullish side again, I permit myself to read and research again about crypto (quite busy nowadays because of work and post-graduate study hence time is precious).  So far, bounty campaigns and air drops are lively again and I hear my friends getting big rewards recently.

I just want to ask what is the "new" or "hype" thing this time?  Last time was the introduction of NFT, what about this time?  Or are there any specific reason why Bitcoin is in the bull run right now? Is it because of the halving or the ETF?

Thanks in advance.
If you're asking about if it's the halving as the new thing or hype this time, it's a no because every cycle there's always been the halving that we used to experience. But this time, it's true that it's with the Bitcoin Spot ETF. And as we move on, they're also counting about the potential approval of the same thing with Ethereum for which I don't think it will happen because it's unlikely gonna get an approval.

I don't understand what Bitcoin have to do with NFT and why a hype from would affect its price.
I think he's talking about the last bull run wherein there have been bunch of NFT projects that became hyped.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tournament gave 25 bitcoins as prize to last places on: March 02, 2024, 10:08:35 PM
After a year, I don't think that there's a need for me to create a new thread encouraging people.
Absolutely people need to understand the value of the coin. This thread is the perfect example and motivation for the people to buy the coins and hold it. Bitcoins have really done great in the past few years and have given a lot of returns in return. So people need to understand that Bitcoins are limited in numbers and very rare. So just buy and hold to earn maximum profit.
During the times before, we've seen that it's just like a consolation of the last placers but then no one knows that it would be a great value in the future. And just as what everyone is seeing it right now, we may not be able to predict how high it can go but if you are holder and you believe that there will be of a greater value soon, you'll hold. The limit that it has got, the total number of bitcoins that are lost forever, they'll never get replaced. That's why the longer the time passes by, the rarer that these Bitcoins that we're holding will be and the institutions are craving to have it soon because they want us to sell these to them but not for now and the time will come when the price is higher.  Grin
264  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gate.io blocked my funds and the problem has not been resolved for more a month on: March 02, 2024, 07:51:36 PM
I saw one of the comments on your Reddit post, the guy waiting for 5 months is completely ridiculous. let's hope yours doesn't take that long.
I have never used this exchange but that kind of customer service is terrible and making a customer wait for 5 months just to solve an issue is unacceptable. OP has been waiting for a month and if this is how they're solving problems of their customer, he's got 4 more months but I hope that it won't take that any longer. And with that OP, no one is able to help you when they've answered the same thing from your ticket and from your reddit post and even here, it won't do that much anymore. As these tickets have got logs written on your report and it's up to their team, department or supports or whatever they call that as they're not forced to solve it asap.
265  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 02, 2024, 11:10:52 AM
All of you guys are right. It is not bc.game that has blocked my country. May be it's the ISPs or the country itself that has decided to restrict access to bc.game.
But I wonder why they have restricted only bc.game and not other gambling sites.
Fortunately, I was able to access the mirror links that you have provided. Thanks for that. I never knew about it until today.
It's possible that IP from bc.game upon you visited it was put into your ISPs blocklist. For what reason? We don't know, maybe someone demanded for that or your government is too strict with online gambling. There are countries that are too strict with online gambling but I doubt that your country banned online casino/gambling.

WTF moment at bc.game

Played on crash and targeted 1.4x but crashed at 1.39x. This is very annoying because the difference is only 0.01 points. This is the second time I've had a WTF moment on a bc.game crash game. Do you also often play game crash? Are there any special tricks you have?

Btw, the RIO contest is almost over, have you got a lot of RIO guys?
That sucks but that really happens. I don't even go that far when in my first few attempts were failed crashes. I don't have special tricks when I play crash but I just get out of it quickly and be happy with how much I get from that point.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: March 02, 2024, 09:05:21 AM
As I bumped the old thread I've made for encouraging people to continue holding. This thread was made on October 2022 and I posted about the throwback of $64k. In just 1 year and 5 months we're almost back to $64k and close to the ATH too. Just this day, Bitcoin hit $63k and on the past days I've read in some posts outside forum that Bitcoin was able to hit $64k, I haven't verified that but we're too close again. If people that are still bearish and doubtful about Bitcoin, you will never see an asset like this that have been very resilient. Take note that we're not yet on the halving and that's suppose to happen next month, the impact of it will be much greater and we might able not going to need a year until we see a new ATH. So, those that have been calm and holding until now, I'd like to congratulate each and everyone of us for being patient over all these years and not just that, more years to come to all of us.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tournament gave 25 bitcoins as prize to last places on: March 02, 2024, 07:31:18 AM
After a year, I don't think that there's a need for me to create a new thread encouraging people. I just want to use this thread as a motivation that situations like this will keep us holding and in accumulation. It's the logical thinking that in the past, we can accumulate Bitcoins in many quantity but as time passes by, the more it grows, the higher value it gets then the lesser Bitcoin in quantity we get as we purchase. That's the reason why we have to keep on holding but some taking profits are necessary during the bull run. If there are folks that have been discouraged that they've never bought at the dip, it's never too late. Situations like this were already part of the history so as these days that we have and we will have are gonna be part of it too in the future.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: The rate of value between financial Utilizations and Diversifications of income on: March 01, 2024, 11:37:07 PM
So, if a diversified investor is not efficient enough to utilize the incomes, then his incomes is said to be void in as much as you don't keep a reliable bankroll and you don't stress on achieving great things.
If this diversified investor is not efficient, honestly he won't be able to utilize anything and he won't be called "diversified" if he's not that good. But in fact that he's able to diversify his assets, he's already efficient with that in the first place. And being an investor, incomes are not stable. Just like in businesses, sometimes they're good and sometimes they're not. So for an investor that receives dividends, they'll receive no matter what happen based on the scheduled date of distribution but it's not going to be stable like the last quarter was good and quite high but on the next quarter, you'll still have it but the amount might be lesser because of low sales, etc. IMHO, don't belittle investors and don't be too quick to judge that they're inefficient, they will be in void and they are not stressing themselves to achieve great things. Because in fact that they've stepped in as an investor, there's already the risk and from there, not everyone can take such risks as what the investors does.
269  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.UnitedCoin.ae on: March 01, 2024, 10:27:26 PM
I hope that there are some arab members or residents from UAE that can share if this is a legitimate service or not. Because they can tell if they have stumbled this since it's based from that country. But my honest take here, their color grading and design is like the old Paypal logo. That's giving me the vibe of it and they should have made a better logo with that because they're making it like they're copycats of it. I've checked the testimonials and logfiles is right that they're likely templates of testimonials. They also have their address on contact us, are you still in Dubai? Check their office if they're legitimate or if you have a friend that's in there, have it checked. But I wouldn't put much confidence on them.
270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me out starting out my bitcoin and musical journey on: March 01, 2024, 09:14:20 PM
By the way, there has to be some field of connecting artists and cryptocurrency economy and development other than NFT, is it somewhere underground or am I just a new weirdo?
You're not some kind of a weirdo. It's actually a space where have been on the trend on 2021 bull run but now? Not anymore but we don't know since we're heading to a bull run again. If you have seen that field suits you, it's not gonna hurt you to try, right? So, you just have to try and check if you're going to click there. Maybe check projects like Viberate, I've seen some ad of theirs that they're offering something for music professionals and as well as artists so, if you can have some opportunity with them. Get it but I think that it won't be easy for you but at least you've got some leads already.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Funds are SAFU": Here we go again, but with Coinbase! on: March 01, 2024, 07:57:33 PM
I had no problem with Coinbase or any exchange having such issues with these on important days. Because I don't keep my funds there but it's alarming that this keeps on happening. Selling through those integrated exchanges on wallets are way too high for the conversion because they get % for each sale and that's also regretting upon calculation of that amount. The customers can't do anything with this when another skyrocket happens and they show bugs because they don't want people pulling out their funds after selling it on them. That means that money flowing out of them also losing them money. That's why some technical maintenances are like their slowdown to their customers and to calm the fluctuation of visits on them. But that's unethical when it happens mostly on these bull runs that we're having. SEC or any agency of the government that are monitoring them should step in and force them to stop from doing it.
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: excited to join this forum on: March 01, 2024, 04:27:00 PM
Hello Alec, welcome to the forum.
You're passionate with technology and that's going to make you easily understand some terms that some newbies may not be able to understand. But even with that, my tip to you is to be patient with learning the forum, Bitcoin and blockchain. It takes time for everything and this patience that you'd be applying to everything is also going to be beneficial to you once you start investing in Bitcoin. All of the people that are making money from Bitcoin, it doesn't come out too quickly. All of them took time to learn, study and became patient and planned everything well until they're able to understand how it goes.
273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Upbit-trx.com scam on: March 01, 2024, 02:30:09 AM
I was able to access the website and based on the design of it, I wouldn't even try to use them. This is the reason why the existing services are the recommended one especially if you're into exchanges and wanting to use and convert your crypto. It's not gonna hurt you if you have researched first before depositing sums of money. I am terribly sorry about your loss but this isn't the first time that we see people being scammed by these websites. Their contact us don't even have their contacts and the same goes with their about us, too many lies are on there. Sorry OP but no one from the forum can do you a favor but you did us a favor by reporting and sharing your story here so that the others won't be the next victim of these scammers that operate that website.
274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING: SOLANA MIXER solanamix.com is a scam on: February 29, 2024, 08:52:22 PM
Goal is achieved, this post is already ranking page #1 on google when you search for their page.
I've used some keywords and surprisingly they are shown at the top either first or second result. I know that this website may not be as reliable as the others but scamadviser tells some good factors about this website for being risky;

Negative highlights

  • The website's owner is hiding his identity on WHOIS using a paid service
  • This website does not have many visitors
  • Several spammers and scammers use the same registrar
  • Several, mainly negative reviews were found for this site
  • We could not analyze the content of the site

To support your claim OP, it's also best to provide evidences about your deposit didn't came back to you.
275  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin withdrawal blocked, support no service on: February 29, 2024, 06:58:54 PM
Sadly, if you have already sent them numerous times of follow up email for your concern, there is nothing we can do about it. You have to wait for an unknown period of time and there is no need for you to post that ticket number. The last post from their ann thread and representative was from October 2023. They are probably doing some investigation about your withdrawal and account but if you have already provided everything that they've been asking from you, they should give you a feedback on how it goes.
276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Support on: February 29, 2024, 01:00:46 PM
We have not even reached $100,000, as there will be a lot of demand. These companies must have plans for increased demand and strategies to deal with that, otherwise they will lose part of the customer base, or the service servers may be attacked for further price manipulation.
That's for sure and I agree that they should have themselves prepared for this coming surge or at least have some contingencies if ever the same thing ever happen again. They're expected to perform at their best every time that we're in a bull run cycle or make it as their standard that they're at their best shape regardless of the season. And that's true that those customers that have experienced this might think not to use them anymore because it's traumatic even it's just a bug.

In a bull market, most services succeed in fulfilling their obligations due to the increase in the price of Bitcoin, but it is better not to bet that your money is safe if a problem occurs with the beginning of the price crashes.
It is what we've been telling people that they shouldn't keep their funds on exchanges because something like this might disappoint them. And not just that, they have to remember that the hackers are also too active during the bull run and could target these big exchanges. They could simply just keep it on their wallets and transfer it on exchanges when they're about to sell. Because if they have no intention of selling, there's no point of keeping it there.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prospects on: February 29, 2024, 10:31:10 AM
What are the limits of Bitcoin’s rise... and is it a strong and consistent rise...
Always think of it that sky is the limit. That's why every cycle is different although not to break our anticipation, it's always best to think that it's going to be near the past ATH that it did. Consistency of it for every cycle is there, if you'll go ahead and study the 4-year cycle, you'd say and see that there's a consistent rise for the past years that has passed and that's what we're also expecting that's about to come.

and what are the most prominent implications of this rise and its most prominent results?
Implications? well, the price itself might be the discouragement of many that have missed it.
The prominent result? those that have listened about buying when it's low are going to enjoy it.
But these rises aren't going to last forever as there's always the cycle in the market. What we have to feel is that every time the cycle is in, we should also be in and won't miss that momentum.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see BTC at ATH before the year ends? on: February 29, 2024, 07:03:04 AM
I am still into this belief that ATH will be hit next year. But if the move is like this and we've just hit $60k and $61k, then everything is possible. Today, Bitcoin showed on how superior it is on the market and how volatile it can move positively. But at the same time, this also shows that it can dump as soon as possible. This is the skyrocket that we're all waiting for, no halving yet then we're so close to the past ATH that we've been. This gives the idea that we're truly going to surpass the past ATH that we've met soon. Prepare your emotions and don't forget to take profits at the peak or else you'll have to be patient again waiting for that moment for you to start enjoying those holdings that you've planned all along.

Your right we should also prepare for a sudden crash in price cause you know bitcoin can be very volatile but I rather call it a correction and I am not expecting the correction to take the price up to 10% low in price like up to 50k, just a little consolidation around.

Yes it's good we cash out at the peak but let's not forget that there are times that bitcoin price never return after a new ATH and sets stage for a new price range of bitcoin, we should expect either possibilities so let's not sell too much or all or holdings and get stranded trying to buy at a higher price or you end up using your holding's money.
Honestly, I don't think that we're on the peak yet. When that would be? I don't know but I am counting on it for next year as I still consider the cycle and patterns that it has had for the past years of these cycles. But if someone is happy to take some profits, who are we to stop them with their money and enjoyment? What we have to prepare is whatever happens for the next several months to come, this will be the accordance of every contributors of this bull run and there are many of it. $50k for the correction is possible but as said, it can also be like $40k but this is already a bull run. We may not see that kind of low but as typical on this market, expect some pull backs like that and recovery will even be quicker as everyone is just waiting for some of it and they'll never hesitate to buy it before it takes off again.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Chart Update - Previous Cycle on: February 29, 2024, 05:18:52 AM
That is what I am hearing from some good analysts that there's a likely that we may see a pull back after all of these pumps that we've seen and that's prior to halving. Maybe actually before or after it but that's one thing that's for sure that whenever Bitcoin goes up, anticipate that there's a followed action of it to correct.

A decline of 35-40% can be seen in the coming days/week.
Is this from the current price? This is likely around a slash of $21k - $25k. That's huge but I wouldn't be surprise if any type of correction comes for it to be balance and if we've seen that, that's another signal for everyone giving another accumulation period after it has reached $62k.
280  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: February 28, 2024, 11:51:21 PM
Otherwise: Who would ever say "No!" to another competition? Wink
No one will never say no to a free competition with a generous prize.  Grin

You are completely right about that. And free competitions attract a lot more people than the ones where people need to risk some money. Anyway, it's nice to see another competition from BC, I hope it lasts a long time. Good luck to everyone!
There are existing competitions that are currently being held and with some additions like this, this will really attract more users and feel that they're always in with what BC.game's activeness in giving back to the community through these giveaways that are for free. We just have to wait until the final decision and mechanics are out and while waiting for that, don't forget to join the existing ones that are being posted and managed by peanutswar on the games and rounds.
