1  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: December 28, 2023, 04:32:03 PM
As a small business owmer, I stand by my own choice and I think it's far more superior to being an employee
I've tried both and even though my company is just a bit over a year old it has made me far better results.

Both paths have ups and downs, for an example being an employee is much safer and comfortable to an average person. You only worry about how you perform and does the check come in on time. There is opportunity for progress and growth but it is very limited considering the possibilities when being a business owner.

If you have a solid business plan and experience in a field, you could make a far larger amount of money and have more freedom with your time and working ethics. It does come with more stress and headache and sometimes far more than 8h daily work but financial stability is a must.

Still available! Almost any budget possible
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 30, 2023, 09:26:58 AM
Well, if you have a separate budget for every purchase/investment forms then you shouldn't have a problem with buying yourself something on a great discount - that's how I organize my finances. If you don't, then you have to be at least disciplined not to go overboard with spending money you could've used to invest (of course, spending Bitcoin directly is not wanted at all).
It all depends on how organized are you personally, it will reflect on the investments you make.

As for Black Friday, I've seen some good deals and I have made some purchases but only on stuff I already intended buying and I knew the price before so I made sure it's really a discount and not a marketing trick.
You can genuinely find some good discounts but there are also many fake discounts you should watch out for. My strategy is following the price of my wishlist items so I know if a discount is real.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, what's the best Bitcoin wallet for PC these days? on: November 29, 2023, 02:40:41 PM
I would vouch for Electrum on this as well.

A very light wallet, memory wise and also fast and easy to use. I think it's quite popular and well-known so you wouldn't make a mistake choosing Electrum
Of course you have many good alternatives but my expereience with Electrum was good and I think it has everything you need.

Still available, and flexible!

Just PM me and we can make a deal
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin transaction time reduce in future? on: November 27, 2023, 10:05:41 PM
It really depends on the fee you pay, I've recently moved some Bitcoins and the transaction got confirmed in a few minutes and I didn't even put a high fee- it was pretty cheap. The transaction time has had much worse days so I don't think it's much of a problem right now.
If you really want it instant now that's a different story, you could try some already mentioned services but I really don't think you need to complicate what could be solved by just waiting a few minutes, I doubt regular users need that speed right now.

Anyways, the transaction time has been like this for a long time, I don't think that it will change soon.
7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SELLING] Steam giftcards/games/wallet funds on: November 27, 2023, 09:55:28 PM
Hello Sir, at what price you will provide me steam GC , I need cards in range from 10$-50$ on weekly basis.

Can you ping me on my telegram for smooth conversation. https://t.me/theleakedlord
I've messaged by PM.

Budget in OP is still available!
8  Economy / Digital goods / [SELLING] Steam giftcards/games/wallet funds on: November 20, 2023, 09:38:16 PM
(ANY)Steam credits/games/DLCs for sale

Current budget: 40eur
The current budget is the amount I have in my Steam wallet right now which is available at this moment for buying you gift cards or games.

How does this work?
- You send me a message on what you need from the Steam store and if I accept the order, I will send the price (Actual price of the product) in Bitcoin via PM. When the transaction gets confirmations I buy the product(s) and send them to you via the Steam Trade function (or if it is a Steam key, via PM on this forum).
If all goes well, I will leave a positive trust on your profile.
Escrow?
- If you need an escrow for safety reasons, that is accepted if the escrow fee is paid by the customer. Only high ranked escrows and I buy once they confirm the funds so I do not potentially waste my funds.
Higher budget?
- As I am using this service for buying Bitcoin from customers, I will deposit more funds if necessary. Feel free to message me about products that exceed the current budget.

Altcoins?
- If you have altcoins (Ethereum XRP or similar), please mention it in message so I can see if it is possible to exchange.

You can order by PM or in the thread!
Cheers!
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: October 04, 2023, 06:25:26 PM
The only business that small scale would be some kind of digital services, dropshipping products and stuff like that. To me, that seems very unstable and not very profitable since everyone is running to that option, influenced by fake millionaires and social media figures. You can make a profit but you have to add some originality or some spice to it, so you get in front of everyone else.

If you want a real small scale business (physical, registered), you must have capital. If you aren't lucky enough to ask family members for a loan/investment, you have to go to a bank and take a big fat loan, it's just how it works.
Hopefully you have some hobby/interest in some topic and even better, experience at a job (in the branch you do business in), to easily pick a business branch in which you have experience and knowledge.
10  Other / Meta / Re: Can one plagarise unintentionally? on: October 04, 2023, 06:16:34 PM
Even though the rules are pretty strict about plagiarism, I think the moderators can easily spot what is actually done intentionally and what isn't. Accidental plagiarism is a thing though, you might unintentionally forward information or text that someone else has already wrote about.

I think it could be compared to music - a lot of times some pieces that are already written come to mind to another musician (happened to me to write a very similar part of a song even though it wasn't in my mind the slightest). So, sometimes it would be logical to write something, unknowingly plagiarizing the original contributor.

Even though we must be alert about this, misunderstandings can happen.
11  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: August 24, 2023, 08:55:28 AM
How can that be enforced though, I don't know much about stuff regarding merit farms but there are a lot of MS that have threads that they open to share your posts that you think is worth the merit and it just so happens that there are some people that's active on posting on those threads so no one can really blame them if they get chosen to get those merits.
Those threads are legit, you get merit if the OP of the threads thinks you should and that's okay. But there are threads which are just for farming, literally everyone merits everyone without worrying about the quality of the post or the actual thread/topic.

Maybe only thing that would help is more forum staff, but I don't know if that's possible.
12  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: August 24, 2023, 08:42:23 AM
I think merit farming should be more moderated, so it's better to report individuals who do that and let moderators check and issue a warning/punishment rather than disabling merits in a whole thread. There are many good and informational posts there so I think they shouldn't be discredited because of others.

I've seen a lot of merit farms in local boards/threads that accumulate even more merits and I haven't seen any action taken. It is probably because it would be hard to moderate every single thread and user manually so the system can't really be accurate and ideal.

There's no rule about farming merit, it's unethical and unfair to the other, but as long as they're not joining a signature campaign or abuse trust list, there's no point about farming merit, isn't?
I'm pretty sure it is forbidden to farm merits? And it is mostly used for what you've said, sig campaigns and probably to seem trustworthy on the forum.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 23, 2023, 10:22:14 AM
That is definitely true and I think it stands for any investment. Since I am from a country which has a poor economy and isn't stable, it's always a thought to pull out/sell my investments to help me out with the situation. Fortunately, I am patient and I've never dipped because of some emergency and I never actually had to. But some people just can't meet ends with their salary so they sell even if they wanted to hold for a profit.

It would be ideal if everyone could invest and hold, but you can't really bet against the economic situation you are in.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 21, 2023, 07:20:00 PM
I think it would be doable but you probably wouldn't have users like others had back in the day. I remember that you could find faucets on every corner on the web, but now I almost even forgot that was a thing until I saw this thread.

You would have to roughly calculate is it even worth building, will it be profitable for your time spent? From making a website to hosting and then advertising it, you are going to spend money and time. You would also have to make a deal with those advertising companies to supply you with offers for participants. Also, you would need to make it so someone could actually earn something, which is a rarity so your website would probably gain traffic but you would profit less.

I think you should find something else to invest in, since you were thinking about this, you could find something similar but more profitable and worth your time.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin negatives on: August 21, 2023, 07:11:47 PM
We were all newbies once, but I sure do wish that we could somehow make it harder for them to post crap like this.

Firstly, the supply system is regulated as you might know, so 93% of mined coins doesn't really make a difference. Toxic waste? Do you know how small that is compared to big companies?
How do you exactly feed or cure people with energy? Hypothetical nonsense isn't really accountable - "You could of do this instead of that".

Other nonsense points aside,

Network fee only goes back to miners this leaves no funding for roads, garbage, schools, medicare or disabled veterans.

1-3 hour transactions

high network fee cost more than the coffee you are buying
Why the hell would the fees go for those causes? Your fiat money will get taxed for this, no need to get Bitcoin into that.
There are some delays sometimes, but most of the time if you give a decent fee, it will be processed rather quick. Your bank also charges provision for your transactions, nothing is free. I doubt there are many people buying coffee with Bitcoin, but even if they do, I doubt that the fee will be bigger than the product/service bought.

As you are a hater, I would suggest going elsewhere to spread nonsense against Bitcoin since you will just be defeated by arguments here. It wont get you anywhere.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian ruble is scam on: August 20, 2023, 11:49:15 AM

"but you should really think about which countries are actually involved and who has interests there"
You somehow hinted that there are real "interested parties" to these events, but did not openly mention Russia. I take it you're referring to someone else? Smiley
Then please - be consistent, name who is "interested", when and how did you implement this plan?

I will answer in advance: after the attack of Russia on Ukraine, in Ukraine, defending Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Ukraine) are fighting, Their goal is the defense of Ukraine, the destruction of the terrorist troops of the Russian Federation, controlled by the international criminal V.V. Putin, who is accused of kidnapping and exporting children of Ukraine to Russia . Which is a copy of the Nazi crimes of World War II.

Fighting against Ukraine are the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Russia), PMC Wagner (Russia).

Also, on both sides there are small groups of volunteers from other countries fighting both for the freedom of Ukraine and for Rashism.

Now will you share your "knowledge" about the situation in Ukraine, a citizen of Ukraine, a direct participant in the events? Smiley
It's actually widely known but since you distribute fake images and facts, why would I even try to convince you about something you don't want to know about even if the facts are right here.
Again, I'm not going to discuss politics as it isn't the topic and I just don't want to. The topic is about Russia and their currency, which is why I was replying to your false facts from illegitimate sources.

Why are you sharing your "knowledge" about Russia if you are in Ukraine? How can your false claims be accepted while I can't say something about Ukraine(even though I am only talking about the war)?
Of course you don't know. You don't see the wider picture and you never will, you're just listening what you are told.

Anyways, hope you are well and have a great day.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 19, 2023, 04:39:54 PM
Literally just no. If you want to start a legal and registered business, you aren't going to see profit for at least a year or two.

Then the business owner will shoot down the business because they will go bankrupt trying to finance a business that has not made a profit for a whole lot of 2 years, that's 730 days. Oh wow   Roll Eyes
Read what I've considered as a profitable business first. You don't go bankrupt or close up, you either work with a small loss or are around zero in the first year at least. Keep in mind you have money invested, loans/debt - you surely aren't going to pay that out that fast considering we are talking about a real registered business, not some freelance type of organization. You have to pour in money right when you start and you also have regular taxes to pay.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 19, 2023, 11:36:17 AM
Literally just no. If you want to start a legal and registered business, you aren't going to see profit for at least a year or two. You will be able to make yourself a salary and probably some extra sometimes but the company definitely isn't going to be profitable and it isn't as long as you don't get more than you invested. Products and services can be profitable per job done but that isn't real profit until you get back what you've invested.
And keep in mind that you are in a minus the moment you start a business (you will have expenses when opening and registering, and you need capital to start) and you need an idea of what you want to do - and that isn't something I would ask some random forum users to suggest.

By reading your fantasy post and incoherent answers, I'm presuming that you are young and I would suggest firstly getting a job or something - then you could maybe get a better feel and view of money.
If you want quick returns then you can only try high risk investments - like trading, but even that wont make you a profit overnight.
