201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people think technical knowlege is required to invest in or adopt bitcoin. on: January 18, 2019, 09:20:56 PM
As most of the people on this thread, I partially agree. A Bitcoin user needs minimal technical knowledge, buying/earning and spending Bitcoin isn't really something that requires much technical knowledge. But the part where I dissagree are more complex parts of the cryptocurrency world, like mining, working or learning about the blockchain.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 18, 2019, 06:33:30 PM
I think it is a waste of both money and time, most of people who gamble regularly never get profit. I also don't endorse gambling as a hobby, because it is a very expensive and meaningless hobby, you could choose something a bit more entertaining. I only gamble with faucets because faucets give enough for me to have fun or just waste time for 15-20 minutes. Gambling as a hobby is just an excuse.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 15, 2019, 07:29:03 PM
That's exactly what happens to 90% of people. The smart ones stop as soon as they win, they try only once and if they win they just stop and get away for the money. Unfortunately, most of the people want more and more money and they lose it all. That's why I don't try going on for the big win, I just sometimes do it for fun.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: January 15, 2019, 06:46:02 PM
There is no particular skill in poker, there is only tactics. You can get better by learning how to play in some situations, learn tactics. But there is no real skill involved because it is a luck game, you only need to know when to fold or call. Sometimes, people happen to get in lucky streaks and get off the table when the streak ends. But that's coincidence or simply luck but the streak will end at some point.
You can get advantage if you know to track cards and read players, but those are rare and really hard to gain skills.

207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 30, 2018, 08:11:14 PM
You pretty much destroyed yourself, wouldn't you consider a price of 10.000$ to be a pretty high price for Bitcoin? You should have waited for a decrease in price, that's not really some science, it's just common sense. It's not Bitcoin who has no future, it's you, you just paid penalty for not knowing how to invest in Bitcoin.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: November 30, 2018, 07:57:03 PM
There are all kinds of people on the planet, some adopt stuff on their own or by the recommendation of someone intelligent and who has any influence. But sadly, there are more people who would adopt something which is a trend or recommended by some celebrity. Luckily, the same people are too dumb to adopt cryptocurrencies.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ads on: November 30, 2018, 07:35:48 PM
Earning or mining Bitcoin isn't even that hard nowadays, you can get an already set-up mining rig, join a mining pool and you're off! You just have to pay for electricity and you are making money. It would be pretty good if someone that has some knowledge and will to promote Bitcoin made an ad that would actually mean something. But an individual can't make profit on such ads unless it promotes his company or something, so the best hope would be a cheap small ad.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only one detail in BTC that makes me thinking is a scam on: November 26, 2018, 10:29:19 PM
-snip-
Ahahaha you just put concrete to my statement, difficulty is another argument how easy was in first 2-3 years to mine 10mil bitcoins by small groups of people, when nobody knew about mining, only in 2012 people waked up and starting to mine. By that time, half of bitcoins where already mined, imagine what will happen if they decide today to sell 3mil bitcoin, where the price will go? And still they have another 7-8 milions of bitcoin mined for free almost.
Bitcoin wasn't mined by a few individuals as you think, many people mined them and they have spent them eventually, so those 3 million were spreaded upon a lot of users. Nobody could have known that Bitcoin would get anywhere, and if it were a scam, the holders of those millions would have sold everything long ago.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only one detail in BTC that makes me thinking is a scam on: November 26, 2018, 10:05:28 PM
Even tough anything could be possible and we could all be a part of a big scam, but I doubt that and your statements aren't very accurate.
First of all, the difficulty of mining the early Bitcoin was very low and since Bitcoin had pretty much no value for some time, mining was rewarded with bigger rewards and that's when the most of the Bitcoins were mined. Nobody could have knew that they would make huge money if they holded their mined Bitcoins, so most of those Bitcoins aren't in their miners wallets for a long time now.
212  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC is not the best way to save money, What you think is the best ? on: November 26, 2018, 09:47:24 PM
Maybe it would be a nice to save Bitcoins and pass it to your kids, it would be a nice way for them to inherit the passion for Bitcoin but it might not be the best way, because who knows how much will that be worth. Bitcoin is mainly the best for investing but saving it isn't very safe.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: most of miners are shutting down their gigs? on: November 26, 2018, 09:21:36 PM
It's not most of the miners, you have maybe heard of miners in China. I don't know why did they react like that, but they are selling their miners for 10% of the original price. At least it is a good opportunity for others, you can buy several of miners for the price of one and make a good profit when the market stabilizes a bit.
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would Bitcoin become irrelevant or remain the King? on: November 26, 2018, 02:41:56 PM
Not one currency has ever come even close to taking Bitcoins place and you think that Bitcoin will become irrelevant? Try tracking the price of the whole market, you will see that when Bitcoins price falls, every other cryptocutrency will fall in price. Also, the fall in price is irrelevant because the whole cryptoccurency market recently fell in price.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2018, 07:43:43 PM
It's just a temporary setdown. Just because it's going down doesn't mean it's a disaster. The price of the whole market is going down and it is quite frustrating for investors who put a lot of money into cryptocurrency and now they feel betrayed. But Bitcoin went from nothing to the sky and now its in the middle, so it doesn't mean its dead and it is in fact recovering.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we wait for a big drop in BTC? on: November 16, 2018, 09:10:42 PM
There might be a decline, but I don't fear it. It could be a really good chance for a huge profit. Only few people get it, but these declines are actually good, you just have to be calm and aknowledge that Bitcoin can't just die like the popular belief says, it always comes back stronger than before.

218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we have a good Bitcoin Black Friday this year? on: November 12, 2018, 01:13:00 PM
I don't really plan anything to do, I'll just be saving up Bitcoins as I do everyday. I don't make a big deal out of Black Friday. I might spend some if I find some really good deals on stuff I need, I'll only be careful with spending as I have a very small amount of Bitcoin and I want to save up as much as I can.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 04, 2018, 08:43:11 PM
I voted Not Sure because I couldn't decide which would be better. Volatile market is kind of what we are used to, and for investors, it is great for making loads of profit. And a stable market wouldn't be bad because Bitcoin would probably be accepted on more sites, normal shops and it would be more a currency rather an investment. I really don't know which would be better.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2018, 08:20:14 PM
Of course not only the rich people can make profit. Poor or less financialy stable people can make money trough Bitcoin. For an example I have made some decent amount of money from pretty much nothing because I didn't have the money to buy and trade Bitcoins. But it is also true that rich people make a very larger profit because they have more money to invest. Only the intelligent and smart can make more profit than them.
