181  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to select a good gambling site on: January 27, 2019, 08:44:36 PM
I suggest going with the simple paramaters: community recommendations, popular sites, sites with fairness proof. Gambling sites that come first to your simple Google search can be good and trusted sites. I would also use sites that are recommended by some veteran gamblers.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin matured as a currency? on: January 27, 2019, 08:25:53 PM
Bitcoin is a currency wheter or not is the price volatile, because it is made and designed to be a currency. Of course the volatility does affect people and it isn't really profitable for someone to use it only as a currency. And because Bitcoin is made like this, the price can never be stable, but Bitcoin is already 10 years here and it matured well.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: received 500 free satoshi? on: January 26, 2019, 06:48:01 PM
I've also recieved a few random payments (worth about 10 cents) when I just created my wallet. It's just spam or something, and I don't think it's for a good cause. For instance, my phone wallet could freeze and crash if I get too many small payments on it. But it's okay if you get only a few, then you shouldn't really mind it.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is still the most popular? on: January 26, 2019, 06:41:38 PM
It doesn't matter how low has Bitcoin fallen since it's all time high price, it is still the one with the highest market price and marketcap value. The whole cryptocurrency market goes in the same way, so when Bitcoin drops, the rest drops aswell. So Bitcoin is still the best and most popular currency and it will stay that way since it is the first one.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be a volatile investment tool and payment method at the same time? on: January 26, 2019, 06:33:03 PM
It is spliting between the two right now, many people discuss in which category does Bitcoin fall into. I consider it both, because more than a half of users use it as an investment and the rest use it as a currency for spending. I personally use it as a currency and endorse that side of Bitcoin more because it is made to be a currency.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A quick cancellation can make a profit? on: January 26, 2019, 06:08:01 PM
-snip-

And what do you think, is it good to give up if we have a bad day?
Whether nervousness and greed can lead to losing everything or gambling needs patience. Is there a strategy in that, which can help us not to lose everything?
I personaly don't like playing when I see that it isn't going, I feel like I'm forced to play. I like when I can have fun and when I get a win streak, then I feel motivated to continue and make more money. I always want to minimalize my loses so I quit when the situation isn't good. Maybe it's just me, but it is my strategy to save a bit of my money.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: January 26, 2019, 05:47:01 PM
I spend less than an hour and I gamble only when I have free time(which happens every 2nd or 3rd day). I also don't deposit, I play with whatever I can get for free (implemented faucets, freebies) just for fun, I don't want to lose my money or get addicted. I mostly roll dice games or play poker only because it's fun but it can't be played without money.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A quick cancellation can make a profit? on: January 26, 2019, 05:42:28 PM
I always say that it's the best strategy to get out when you get the profit because casinos will saborage you in some way to lose if you make a too big profit. It is also a good practice to get out when you are having a bad day. I don't try to make profit when it just doesn't work, I know I will lose more if I try.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: January 23, 2019, 09:51:39 PM
I use Bitcoin only ocasionally for purchases necause I tend to hold it and I don't have a very big amount so I can't spend them on daily stuff. As for other cryptocurrencies, I only hold them and use them for trading, since Bitcoin is accepted more I use it for purchases. My purchases are mostly buying from other persons or online game shops and those are on a very low monthly/yearly basis.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption: Rakuten (Amazon of Japan) to likely introduce BTC as a payment option on: January 23, 2019, 09:45:09 PM
That is great news! I love to hear news when Bitcoin is rising in adoption. I hope other companies will follow them and add Bitcoin as a method of payment as well. If many of those smaller or national companies accept Bitcoin, maybe the big ones (like Amazon or AliExpress) will follow them. That would be a great thing for Bitcoin and the whple cryptocurrency world.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: January 23, 2019, 09:39:34 PM
Bitcoin is about digitalizing decentralizing money. It stand out that way, making it like fiat would take out it's uniqueness. As for ATM's, they work like a fast converter from fiat to Bitcoin and vice versa. You need a phone wallet or qr code and you can 'trade' with the machine and you will recieve funds on the wallet, no need for notes.

Sorry for not meeting past weeks requirements, I will make it up this week!
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 20, 2019, 07:51:59 PM
Maybe some people would, maybe I would also take a loan but I do not like to owe money to anyone, even banks or loan givers. If I want to buy the dip, I will do it with my own money if I have enough to buy, if I don't have the money, I jill just skip that opportunity and wait for another one.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: January 20, 2019, 07:45:46 PM
You can't really compare alternative cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin in any way. Bitcoin is many times bigger than all other cryptocurrencies so it is just natural that it becomes less stable. Imagine how unstable would those other cryptos would be if they reached Bitcoins height in price and amount of users.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: January 20, 2019, 07:34:43 PM
Bitcoin ATM's are made for profit, because they have big difference in buy and sell price and big transaction fees. So it isn't really profitable for those companies to put the ATM's in non developed countries because they can put them in big cities where Bitcoin is endorsed and adopted so they can make a lot of money.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: January 20, 2019, 07:19:39 PM
It certainly isn't a good idea for your wallet. I would limit casino games to a hobby (with small bets or faucets on Bitcoin casinos), because you will lose a lot of money on the long run unless you know some system that is guaranteed to get you money. Just be sure to play with an amount you can afford to lose.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: January 20, 2019, 06:57:11 PM
I have tried both, they are similar but trading is better if you want to actually make profit, gambling is mostly loss(unless you know what you're doing). It is a similar system, you give some money for a chance to make a big profit or lose it. The only difference is that in gambling you lose everything you gave, but in trading you lose the differnce between buy and sell value. All in all, I would leave gambling to be a hobby.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where we are now with Gambling on: January 20, 2019, 06:50:52 PM
Gambling, like loads of other things, got hit with technology. Everything is digitalized now, in some aspects that is good because it can make things easier, but it killed socializing and taken away interaction with other people, now its all turned to tapping your phone or hanging on your computer.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: January 20, 2019, 02:13:17 PM
I always say that you can't win in the long run, in any game. Gambling wouldn't exist if people could easily win loads of money, the casinos wouldn't make any profit. That's how gambling works, even if you win once you can't get what you lost earlier, so unless you win first time and get out of the game immediately, you get hooked on the game and just give them more and more money and when you win you get the illusion that you are making money, but you are slowly going deeper down.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people refuse to accept bitcoin? on: January 18, 2019, 10:38:02 PM
People don't want to use Bitcoin for buying stuff because cash is a bit easier to use and Bitcoin has a volatile price so they can lose a lot of money. As for imvesting, some people don't have time or the nerves to do that or are just scared of losing money. I really do understand those people, but ai don't have an explanation for those who hate Bitcoin or have something against it.
