401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 05, 2017, 08:29:58 PM
I would rather keep cash for my children rather than Bitcoins. Because, who knows? Maybe my child wont be interested in Bitcoin and then I would waste my time hoarding Bitcoins he/she wont use and because I was saving Bitcoins I would not have any cash. You have to first get your child interested and make sure it will use it so it wont 'spoil'.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 05, 2017, 08:25:32 PM
I spend my Bitcoins whenever I see something I like and can afford, I wish it was not like that though. I have spent a small amount of Bitcoins (about 50 euros), but that was when the price was 400 $. I wish I waited for the price to go up and spend it then. I guess it is too late but I am certainly not a big holder and I really can't save I kind of have to spend it.
403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should starters use? on: November 05, 2017, 08:19:06 PM
My advice is just not to use any kind of online wallets because they are unsafe. I recommend using any kind of lighter wallet so it wont fill to much space, I do not know any specific wallets for Apple products but you can easily google for light and legit wallets.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unsecured WiFi on: November 05, 2017, 08:12:40 PM
I do not think that your wallet will be compromised at a cafe or hotel wifi and I do not think that the hacker would know about Bitcoinc unless he is waiting for that. Just do not connect to unknown (private) Wi - fi hotspots and you will be alright.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: November 02, 2017, 09:04:07 PM
Bitcoin is the most secure form of money, hackers can not infiltrate the blockchain or individual adressses of users. Bitcoins transactions are anonymous and untraceable. The only way you can lose Bitcoins is by getting scamed. As for the illegal use, no one can block users from using Bitcoin, and also cash is also used for illegal activities but I do not see it becoming banned. The illegal use does not really hurt an individuals security.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: November 02, 2017, 08:48:13 PM
That would be awesome, I know some TV programms did it but it was kind of a  one time thing, some people miss it, some forget about it a day later. It would be better if someone is willing to pay for advertising Bitcoin every day atleast once, like others advertise daily stuffs and products. Surely someone would get interested and try getting into the Bitcoin business. We just have to find someone who is willing to pay for the advertisements.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 02, 2017, 08:29:15 PM
I am surprised every day, I was inactive in whole the Bitcoin network and this forum since the price was steady at about 4000$ and when I saw that it was about 10.000$ I screamed, I did not see that one coming and I still can not believe it, or that the price has not drastically fallen by now, it is really holding good for now, I thought it would blow back to 5000$.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 08:22:16 PM
Because the goverment controles the countries money and they do not want a new currency that is decentralized. Even though some countries 'ban' it, they can not track its use and can not really stop anyone for using it or get them caught using it because it is anonymous and untraceable. Feel free to use it even if your country tries to ban Bitcoin.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: October 30, 2017, 07:41:17 PM
It is whatever you want it to be. Some people invest and use it as an asset, while some people earn them somewhere and use them in daily purchases like any other currency. Altough it is both, I would put a little more percentage on the currency part because it is made to be a cryptocurrency, it is looked as an asset only because the price moves a lot.

411  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 15, 2017, 12:25:17 PM
Since I mainly buy Steam (or other) games with my Bitcoins and I have a fairly big library and a few expensive games a ton of friends ask me how do I pay for the games since having a credit card at my age in my country is really rare. I show them my android wallet and explain how it works in short lines(I try not to be to pushy and boring about it). They get interested when I say that they can purchase stuff online and  that earning it is not really hard.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to make some bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 12:18:24 PM
You can't. You are asking how to earn around 1500$ in a month, it isn't a small amount of money. You could try mining but it requires a little bigger starting capital to kick off, but once you start, it will be only earning and expanding. I doubt there is any other way you could earn that much money online since you do not want to trade or gamble.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 14, 2017, 09:26:51 AM
Well, every form of money is used in crime, cash, credit cards, any money. So we can't say that Bitcoin is the only one and that it is bad for that reason. It is not Bitcoins fault that criminals use it because it is untracable. Money is money and we can not stop it from being used for illegal purposes.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 14, 2017, 09:19:43 AM
I think it will be alive as long as we all have internet. Bitcoin is here for a longer time and it will probably be here for a while more. If it were to die it would die in the early years of it, but it survived all of that and it pretty on the ground right now.
415  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 14, 2017, 09:15:39 AM
I tried Bitcoin Core, but when I saw it needs 60gb of storage I deleted it immediately. I downloaded Electrum for my PC, it looks great and easy to use but I did not have the chance to use it because I use a wallet on my phone. The active wallet on my phone is Bitcoin wallet from Google play store.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 09:12:13 AM
It is a great investment, but you should have started earlier, because the price goes up pretty much all the time. It is not late, you can always wait for the lower price but you could have been in a big plus if you started when the price was low comparing to todays price.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 14, 2017, 09:08:55 AM
That would be crazy and very risky, you should convert some smaller amount that you can afford losing (I mean losing a part of it). With all your money at stake it could be a  great loss(depending how much money you have), so I do not recommend trying that.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really A Currency or An Asset? on: October 10, 2017, 12:27:34 PM
It is both and you can pick how you want to use it. I would say it is mainly a currency because it is designed to be one. Fiat currencies would also be assets if they had prices like Bitcoin has. I use it as a cryptocurrency and I think it is not true that not much stuff can be bought with it, this is not 2010, you can buy pretty much anything with Bitcoins, it is just a bit harder than an average shopping.
419  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 10, 2017, 12:12:06 PM
The bigest disadvantages are :
-Some countries do not support Bitcoin and you can not exchange it to fiat or buy something with them
-Price is never steady- you just can not know if the price is going to be as it is right now or going up a 500$ or down
-On some periods the confirmation time is ridiculously high or the fees go very expensive for bigger transactions

Thats all what I can say as an average user.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: October 06, 2017, 03:27:48 PM
I like to try new stuff, cash is too boring for me. I like how it is easy to earn, it is spread well and you can easily find one time jobs paid in Bitcoins. It also is not really hard to use, I carry my Bitcoins in my pocket and can use them with one tap on my phone.  It is also safe and you can even make profit by trading it. What is there not to love?
