1161  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: April 19, 2017, 07:36:18 PM
One question, how do you guys process tokens on ETH blockchain? can we deposit any token standard token of course and then see them in our ETH address provided by you the exchange?
1162  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: April 19, 2017, 05:58:55 PM
Who dates nowadays anyways? people want porn mostly but I guess nothing can compete with gambling online casinos those greedy gamblers as well are addicted to the play and it will always remain more profitable in economic sense to operate an online casino than a dating site, many dating sites came and now are gone because there were no profit and they lost their incentive after social medias the giants such as facebook and twitter came along.
1163  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 19, 2017, 04:53:32 PM
Huh! $20B marketcap of bitcoin is like a normal weekly deals of some governments, right now they can put $5B and buy up to 3M bitcoins but as long as kinds of Wu/ Ver exist they don't need to lift a finger.
On the other hand when you think about it you'll see that the whole world's markets are being manipulated every day only as the amounts involved getting larger and larger the stakes will grow higher to succeed changing the odds in your favor.

Simply take the veto power from US in UN and instead of NATO establish a world wide army taking commands from the UN only by 95% consensus without any veto rights because when a member use veto the other members go and do their own damn job.
But nope as soon as they became a power in the region they started to expand and kill and steal to build the strongest army and here we are now.

They'll try to convince you that separating religion from the law/ government is the answer, what freedom of speech? where did anyone hear all the victims and dozens of nations voices? or if they heard when did they care?

30 years ago Iranians told the world to sell them the materials needed and let their scientists and engineers build nuclear reactors to produce electricity and for medical purposes and said if you don't give us then we'll make them ourselves which they did.

US and EU countries helped Saddam in war against Iran while all they did was just defending and they even were importing barbed wire from Russia and other countries, imagine a country without having the knowledge and technology to make barbed wires defended itself for 8 long years and now that they're naturally evolving advancing peacefully, they couldn't tolerate, they couldn't accept it.

US soldiers raped gang banged 12/14/16 years old girls and filmed it in Iraq and after a few weeks the same soldiers were decapitated in front of the cameras, you have no idea how many girls and women were raped during the invasion, now you see western girls getting raped your blood boils up and wanting to nuke all of them?
North Korean wants to be left alone but can they let them be? no they want to poke everyone and everything.

Do you think writing in Arabic on flags and filming some people shouting God is great then decapitate some people and then showing it on internet will make the world to believe Islam is bad and evil? do they think that they can annoy God causing him trouble by misguiding the masses?

US is good and loves human rights? then why don't they unfreeze billions of dollars of frozen assets of Iranian people and find a way to distribute that money between their people? wouldn't that be the humane thing the heroic action? you might want to think again.
1165  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-19] OKCoin Bitcoin Exchange Has Suspended Fiat Deposits on: April 19, 2017, 12:59:56 PM
Wtf? allow me to better understand this situation, you deposit fiat in to their bank accounts which are known and public knowledge and then you buy bitcoins from someone else then they get the cash and withdrawal and actual money is only moving around when people request withdrawal but as long as you keep your fiat there or even exchanging them into other altcoins and then withdrawal them no banks are needed in this scenario.

What are they trying to accomplish here? regulating them heavily and show them who's the boss? or they think drawing such lines would really matter for bitcoin in long life span?
More anonymous and unregulated exchanges needed then.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segregated Witness vs Bitcoin Unlimited vs Do Nothing on: April 19, 2017, 12:39:47 PM
As it happened I have mixed the 75% of last 1000 blocks mined with 75% hash power needed to activate SW, either way if BU only needs 51% or even less then what are they waiting for? are they really waiting for 95% consensus? but that will never happen and they know it.
1167  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: WTF is this? Someone found a trick for fast mining? (part II) on: April 19, 2017, 11:21:14 AM
Let me give it to you in a way that a phD level researcher should take a hint, there is no law, no order in open source/ decentralized networks it's absolute chaos and that's the point because no one can actually restore any order, no one should be able to activate or block anything.
It's all goes back to majority consensus, I think Satoshi did a great job by leaving the scene because discussion and arguments seems never ending, he putted everything in the code and let the code to do the talking.

Hey all you guys SW is a trojan horse but guess what? you all can get a ticket inside to go and f"ck the Helen of troy sideways don't worry unless of course there is some SWboost miners ready only for a few to mine 21% more efficiently because with BU nothing really happens other than some big blocks and low fees but ASIC manufacturer gets to mine the rest of the remaining coins with only $400 total cost of mining per coin and then selling $1200+ to people while everyone else is mining using the cheapest electricity costing them $480.
Of course $80 is nothing but when you consider 100,000*$80=$8M.

Core team, they don't have boosted miners ready for more efficient mining if SW activates but how about BU/ Chinese miners?
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 20 pages thread deleted need advice please. on: April 19, 2017, 10:19:18 AM
Recently I saw a thread in alt coin ann section which was offering $9300 free giveaway or 100,000 RCHAIN (clone called YOURCHAIN/URHOC) and as a stupid teenager I posted an ETH address and surprisingly I've received 100K or 10K not really sure but I did receive them now since I got my 3 posts there deleted I figured it must've been something important.

Now I need to know whether those tokens can be traded or just fake and worthless? if they worth nothing then no problem but if they can be considered something like DAO or whatever it was (stupid contract we should call them Cheesy ) and can cause other people to lose their money I need to know where should I send them back or what needs to be done.

Thanks.

1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jihan blocks segwit on LTC: price crashes on: April 19, 2017, 12:39:17 AM
even if segwit was the most amazing scaling solution in the world, it wont help litecoin that much right now since litecoin barely has any merchants.  it was just a p&d.

I think Litecoiners themselves would be the first to admit they won't have a capacity problem for a very long time, if ever. It would shine a light on them and attract more quality developers though.

It would do more than that. All of the various side chain devs could look to litecoin instead of bitcoin. Litecoin could pass over bitcoin in short order if that happened. How would you like LN to go with litecoin instead?
Dude you are worse than iamnotback at least have the balls and say it straight to our faces that you've bought a few bags full of LTC and now wishing for price to go up? Cheesy LTC only worth $5 tops and currently has been pumped by the likes of you.

Why not visit yobit just for once and take your pick from the list of never ending crapcoins and throw SW at it to see it might get $4000 per coin Cheesy
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Israeli Bitcoin Association Statement about Hashrate Attacks on: April 19, 2017, 12:09:07 AM
I have a brilliant idea, why don't you guys just assassinate Jihan Wu and one or two more BU supporters (men behind the curtain) and do the community a great favor since you're very good at it?
It doesn't matter what you or anyone else (no miners) think or like or suggests, in this case only hash power can speak and I'm sure those idiots if successfully split the blockchain and see the disaster and since the attacking party needs to maintain +51% of hash power to be able to keep mining in the longest chain those silly miners will drop their support and leave the hostile chain and the rest which will be less than 50% will suddenly become the minority and then either die off or join back but seriously why would they want to cause all this drama and lost opportunities? as they can mine hundreds of blocks in the time wasted on failing to attack the network?
1171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In the Arctic a possible war? on: April 18, 2017, 11:53:10 PM
If you don't know this already then let me tell you, there are already 3 times more water inside the earth flowing in lava and there are already 10 times of whatever we have of resources on the surface in side the earth again in lava, we already have the technology to build artificial islands in the sea and will soon do it in oceans, but I guess as long as you think about only about living in this world then as science has already proved, earth will be completely gone in the next 2 billion years and probably much sooner than that.

Btw, you can't go in north or south poles as military forces will stop you, and there are already some rumors about Nazis having an under ground base in Antarctica so I don't know what to believe really Cheesy
1172  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: April 18, 2017, 07:46:33 PM
Why this bitcoin Global currency because it can be used in the world that adopts it, BTC will be Global money, AMIN.
You know there are so many other threads to increase your post count on right?

On topic now imagine 100M people living in 3 different cities in 3 countries, in theory there could be at least 500 purchases every second=500 transactions/s and 500*60=3000 TX/minute and 180,000 TX/hour, or 30,000 TX every 10 minutes/every block.
Right now every block only contains 3000 TX max that would mean we'd need ten times bigger blocks and we can't just ask merchants to bite it and wait it out for transactions to be confirmed.
Though I'm just considering the large transactions starting from $100 up to any amount as those 30,000 and even each one of them paying $1-$2 as fees.

We won't see any of that until SW/LN are in play.
1173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitfinex is that much more than other sites? on: April 18, 2017, 06:30:35 PM
Bitfinex have had $180million in funds frozen by Wells Fargo and in addition none of the Taiwanese banks will deal with them.

Fiat withdrawals have stopped. So people are getting their money out by buying btc and withdrawing, hence the higher price (due to higher demand).

Don't deposit any money on bitfinex and if you have coins there, withdraw them - better safe than sorry.
How can people buy bitcoins when clearly the seller is not going to be able to withdrawal fiat themselves? so it's kind of a trap for sellers right?
Unless they have their own coins and selling their own coins at high prices with this opportunity?
What ever you do right now in bitfinex will result in one way trap of your money stuck whether you trade btc or other altcoins you can't take out any fiat.

1175  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: April 18, 2017, 05:40:27 PM
Who says bitcoin is popular? I believe that we're still the lucky ones even after 8 years I consider my self new adopter and if you give it another 7-10 years then we could call it popular, seems like many people don't understand how was bitcoin designed, it wasn't designed to have stable price/ market just look at the supply and it's distribution method, every 14 days/ 2 weeks bitcoin mining becomes more difficult and will cost more money to mine coins and as a result completely automatically price increases because you know there are some people seeing bitcoin and say hey what a great thing lets mine it ourselves and then when they try to do so difficulty increases and whatever they're earning they won't sell for current prices since it's not profitable so they either add to their miners or keep mining with the same machines until it breaks or they found out for themselves that simply buying/ trading/ holding bitcoin from market is much profitable and easier way to make money than start mining it.
1176  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A project to make profit and promote bitcoin? on: April 18, 2017, 05:24:38 PM
People usually play games and then spend money on it since developers kind of making the games to earn money it doesn't work the other way around but meh, if anyone willing to create something fun and nice and pays bitcoins to us to play the game why not?

However I think if most of the payment processors especially the big ones start accepting bitcoin as a currency and accept considerably low fees than traditional processors I think that'd make bitcoin more and more popular.

IMAO, big billboards in main streets of big and advanced countries or some bitcoin fan/ supporter already having a company with some products whatever they might be if sells a product with 30% off for instance and only accepting bitcoin that too could help spreading awareness.
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INDIA still facing cash issues: now due to banknote software upgrade delays on: April 18, 2017, 11:54:11 AM
About that bold part of OP I must say that I laughed almost to my demise, you can't possibly expect a network capable only to process up to 5 transactions/s magically become a solution to a nation of more than 1B population can you?
I do respect Satoshi and know his intentions were pure and he really did have the interests of the people in his heart, but he really sucked at designing the bitcoin code for mass adoption and I could think of one good reason that would be as he didn't really expect for this experiment to become a global phenomenon.

I think what you're hoping for requires a network capable of at least 100,000 transactions/s with 256MB blocks as minimum accepted block size by all nodes and miners which only the miners with access to lightning internet speed and heavily invested on mining equipment could pull off such hefty task.
So for now please avoid telling us more jokes until we can increase the block size to 2MB/4MB base/weight then we'll start thinking about how to solve other nation's problems.
1178  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining on: April 18, 2017, 11:34:59 AM
You shut up idiot Cheesy you are sick and tired of scams/ frauds and yet miserably appearing as such attempting with your poor quality of public relation.
Why the hell anyone would want to invest in your half a*s non-cloud mining at all service?
What those legit and trusted cloud mining services ever gave us as profit/ ROI for us to even think about diversifying our investments?

You need to first finish everything before announcing it that said in service announcement section not discussion but I think you didn't have any chance of success from the start Cheesy
1179  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bank on: April 18, 2017, 11:18:17 AM
Seems like none of you know what you are talking about not even back then in 2010 it doesn't make any sense to put your bitcoins in a bank while their value is increasing over time and it's wrong to assume anyone can start a bank unless they are using something very valuable as collateral like gold/ land which in turn requires a government involvement.

No body will trust you even a penny if you're not backed by government, after launching a bank then you need to deal with the fiat equivalent of bitcoins deposited and change the balance of clients accordingly when price goes up or drops and recalculate the interest rate base on fluctuations which would be a heavy duty but it's doable by using bots, and when people think more than they do by relying on others they'll see it's actually much more profitable if they just buy bitcoins off the market and hold as long as they would've waited to receive interests on their bank deposits.

And since bitcoin is not a physical currency and it's been secured by cryptography mechanism there is nowhere safer than your own wallet addresses if you are concerned about theft/ hack.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better? crypto coin to crypto coin OR crypto coin to fiat money? on: April 18, 2017, 09:45:45 AM
If you don't want to be manipulated by alt coin traders/ whales it's more profitable if you'd go with crypto/fiat than crypto/crypto but even if you do crypto/fiat you're still good as long as you don't try to withdrawal fiat there is no need for you to trade your precious bitcoins (gold) for some useless alt coins (silver/iron Cheesy ) and sometimes you'll never know which coin is going to pump insanely like ETH and DASH or when they'll dump hard and that's the risk you should know about it.
