1141  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Developer Thomas Voegtlin: Bitcoin Unlimited Is Not a Good Idea on: April 23, 2017, 09:18:11 PM
You guys need to stop double/ triple posting.

What made someone to fork Core and create BU in 2015? back then there was no SW and as we can see in these 2 years Core managed to hold the entire network together.
I want the reason for BU in 2015 what was the reason? if answer is banks were trying to buy Core team then that's just another lie.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shocking: Small amount of chinese miners block 88% of segwit support by services on: April 23, 2017, 06:52:09 PM
Most of the services and exchanges are ready or want SegWit there are however some key exchanging services undecided or with no instance on any available proposals.
If miners want bigger blocks and don't care about 1GB extra data daily, if they can maintain current node count after 6 months past from mining blocks of 2MB/4MB/8MB if they can guarantee fast confirmations and low fees and a stable network functioning without any problem then why not?

But even they know something is not right with BU.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Block support at 50% on: April 22, 2017, 10:08:52 PM
What everyone are missing-> consensus in a decentralized environment won't happen, what are you guys arguing about wasting your time? I guess not even Satoshi saw the possibility of a malicious party with enough incentive and power to veto the consensus.
2 years ago you could mine 1000 blocks with 30% of the current hash power and 2 years from now this hash rate will become 30% of total hash power then, but what gives the miners all these funds to insanely increase their hash rate? yes people's money, simple fact that if users/ people/ community stop paying miners what they're asking in price they will no longer be able to continue growing but yet all miners are doing is power play/ politics/ greed/ power hunger wanting to control, in case if you didn't know this is exactly what happened with the giant money organizations/ central banking/ private sectors/ rich families taking over the world economy system, and that is exactly what's happening only in total chaos/ decentralized one.
No rule/ no law no governor.

I think there is a very damn good reason why we need governments/ sheriffs/ police/ law enforcement, we're just too high on the weed we're smoking called "cash/BTC" so we can't see it yet.
1144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CNN told about the Russian "father of all bombs" on: April 22, 2017, 05:29:47 PM
Does it really matter who has what and who does what? ever since the cold war and SU falling apart Russian haven't attacked any other country unlike USA, they have attacked VN/ Afgh/ Iraq/ Syria and dozens of other countries, I wonder which country we should trust more with having mass destruction weapons, the one which never used them on anyone or the one raining bombs like fire cracker?
1145  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-21]Research Shows How Bitcoin Can Be Attacked Via Internet Routing Infr on: April 22, 2017, 03:27:21 PM
What a coincidence right about the time of this topic being posted the entire forum goes under, as it was many countries people without successful connection to forum and still happening til a few hours ago.

What concerns me however is the audacity of some world power countries such as USA, since they get their way either by force military or economic, intimidation of weaker countries and essentially what we see they are capable of doing every day now, what could stop them from banning/ blocking/ sanctioning ISPs worldwide if they were to allow any bitcoin network port connections if some day bitcoin grows big enough for them to feel threatened?
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: Microchip implant for Bitcoin Payments in Malls will you agree ? on: April 22, 2017, 03:07:13 PM
People with a lot of stuff pierced into their body and even in some awkward parts of their body and their proud of them like it's their heavenly duty.
I wouldn't mind if something harmless like eye contact lens or ear pierce but nothing that requires surgery though.
1147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Check out how forum down time effected BTC price! on: April 22, 2017, 07:59:12 AM
Seriously, why am I the only one seeing this? take another look and stop denying, price was going down for 10 hours that forum was inaccessible for most of the people and again started to rise back up since 6 hours ago exactly around the time when forum was accessible.
Lets DOS the forum again to see if I'm right, obviously you have no idea how does markets work, by emotion of course.
People felt tense started to go in negative direction but now we're heading upwards.
I guess I'm the only one noticing this.
1148  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Africa on: April 22, 2017, 07:06:43 AM
Something to consider before hoping for mass adoption in Africa:

WORLD RANKING OF COUNTRIES BY THEIR AVERAGE IQ SCORE

Source: https://iq-research.info/en/page/average-iq-by-country

You don't have to be a genius to use bitcoins, but you probably need to be at least above 'mental retardation' level.

Quote
Borderline intellectual functioning, also called borderline mental disability, is a categorization of intelligence wherein a person has below average cognitive ability (generally an IQ of 70–85)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderline_intellectual_functioning
So according to this map Chinese are the smartest people? no wonder those little fellows ASICboostraped us all for more than a year or so Cheesy
I'd say let bitcoin first answer our needs, us the loyal users the always in the scene community and then think about other people, besides everyone are free to use the network if their government allowing them though.

For now there are some people lining their pockets waiting for an eminent hard fork to happen to secure their next 10 generations Cheesy
1149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you owned biitcoins.com what would you do with it ? on: April 22, 2017, 06:42:28 AM
I'd put a big flashing middle finger to pop up whenever someone opens the main page Cheesy anyone connecting from any country the back ground should change to their country's flag then would've made the pages sliding horizontally and every sub-page/ sub-folder/ sub-menu vertically aligned to their main page, no clickable links whatsoever.

I would've implemented a service in which people could just by opening the site and entering a link to a software then download that software then run it on your dedicated vps which after registering and paying the cost they could always access their vps through your site but that would require heavy skills in coding.

Edit: now be a nice person and send me my 0.5BTC gift.

1150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why God exists in all people mind? on: April 21, 2017, 11:04:04 PM
All I see are idiots after idiots, what son? when you say God sent His son it means that a male penetrated a female and after 9 months a child was born.

Sent to be killed so you idiots can do whatever you want and then go have fun in heaven right?

I don't get it why would you people blame something environmental on someone else? kids in pictures are environmental but not that God didn't know anything about them no, first you guys stop killing/ raping/ stealing then ask for a perfect world, everything you see are signs of God, He can do whatever He wants and no one can stop him.

one question> why do you care if there is any God or not at all? now that some claim that there is and here is what He has asked you to do, are you doing them, are you following the path?

Just live your life as you see fit until you die, and don't say later that no one told you, that no one warned you, don't say later that why didn't you send some one to bring us something to guide us?

You have been given the chance and the warnings, from there it's all up to you, stop making excuses and argue with other people while they are clueless as all of us, some of us have faith and have received the grace as the result but some still struggling because have doubts in our hearts.

You don't believe in God? fine, it's not like anyone can keep you safe or hidden from Him, when God wills something there is nothing to be done to stop Him, who do you think you are to defy a power capable of creating galaxies? please we all are just tiny little things mingling on a tiny little planet yet with the audacity beyond our capabilities.
1151  Economy / Speculation / Check out how forum down time effected BTC price! on: April 21, 2017, 09:57:03 PM
If you take a look at 24 hours chart at any source you would like you'll see right about the time forum went down price started to drop by the hour.

Hereby suggesting to investors and whales to support this forum more often with their donations if they want their coins stay high Cheesy

1152  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin obstructionists on: April 21, 2017, 05:38:35 PM
What is that "scaling and transaction list" signature I often see some members wearing? you know what I think? I think bitcoin has this problem in it's roots where it gives the miners the freedom to either include transactions in blocks or simply ignore them and mine empty blocks, I mean in a decentralized network where people need their transactions to be processed then those with the means and the power to do so can selectively deny people. though full nodes can easily validate transactions as they have the full blockchain and miners could keep mining but again the issue with double spends comes to play and discussing that is out of scope of this topic.

But tell me something, why don't BU dev(s) take SW then remove whatever they don't like and then publish it for miners to choose? I might have some clue why they're not doing that, because they want their version to be used no question asked, if BU was Satoshi's vision then why did BU nodes crashed? take any version before BU introduced to the network and perform the same attacks to see if they as well crash or not? if not then why did they tamper with Satoshi's vision themselves?
1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: If we didnt had idiots blocking segwit we would be sittting on 4 figures by now on: April 21, 2017, 05:17:05 PM
Bitcoin Classic failed, Bitcoin Unlimited will inevitably fail due to how determined a large amount of Core supporters are and how many people don't want to signal for either, and since most people are running Core nodes anyway because BU is so buggy now is a great time for some BU miners to give up.

If the bitcoin block size is increased eventually to 8MB or higher, it does not matter if Unlimited fails or not.

+1

The difference between the SegWit camp and the BU camp is that the SegWit camp wants Bitcoin for themselves, completely and utterly, to have total authority over the protocol and therefore to dictate consensus (which behind the scene renders miners useless, see Proof-of-Vitalik). The BU camp, on the other hand, does not care whether BU as an implementation becomes the most used or not. For the BU people all that matters is whether we get on-chain scaling or not. Should BU fade away and disappear the big blockers will find or initiate another full node implementation. Supporting the Core dev team and SegWit is the same thing as begging to be governed. Only dumbass sheeple enjoy being governed by some central authority because they are too lazy and stupid to think for themselves. Such people ideologically don't even belong to the Bitcoin community.
Could you back your claims up by showing the evidence of a trojan horse? I mean show us the code and explain line by line where you think those soldiers are hiding inside the horse you feel me?

I want to know what happens if everyone start running Core and activate SW? everyone will be on the same boat and they can take advantage of the trojan horse can't they?

But if BU becomes the majority guess who will get the most of it? ASICboost implemented miners, aka Chinese, aka some miners will mine suddenly 6MB blocks taking all the fees and leave slower/ smaller miners empty handed forcing them to mine empty blocks since some powerful pools have taken and included all the transactions.

All I hear about SW from you people is just this "trojan horse" and nothing whatsoever. show me, explain to me like I did about BU and powerful mining pools and ASICboost hard ware.
1154  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: dice site promotion ,post your name here , get 0.1btc an account on: April 21, 2017, 05:01:38 PM
In order for me to get 0.1 I need to first deposit 0.1? f*ck no, who do you think are we? if you were offering 0.1 and then we could wager some bets with it then only if we won ten times of that amount we could've request withdrawal I'd be trusting you the rest of the year to gamble in your casino.
But this? hell no, keep your coins for yourself.
1155  Other / Meta / Re: Timeout connection on: April 21, 2017, 04:41:33 PM
Tried from Ashburn/ New york/ London/ middle east and only now I got the 504 error page which I didn't before, though I was good while with Romania IP this morning.
Every time I get the 504 page it means server company is on to the issue and then everything goes well after couple hours.
1156  Other / Meta / Re: Timeout connection on: April 21, 2017, 12:45:04 PM
Time out connection since morning, DDOS much?
1157  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PEERFLY now offers bitcoin payments for its affiliates. on: April 21, 2017, 08:34:09 AM
I don't know how can that help bitcoin in the long term? we don't need more small transactions like faucets dust, what we need is transactions starting at $10 as the smallest one so when you pay $0.5 as a fee it doesn't have any pressure on you and it also doesn't fill up the mempool.

Currently without SW in play miners are happy with their revenue of high paid fees, but I'm afraid of the time when bitcoin users start to feel like no one really cares about the currency but their own profit.

However I like to see more and more online services accepting/ adopting the use of bitcoin and hopefully soon fees start to drop and even more people will be attracted to use bitcoin.
I hate those services only pay in paypal as well but we need to make sure bitcoin doesn't end up being like or even worse than paypal.
1158  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BTC did not arrive, cananyone help me? on: April 21, 2017, 08:15:00 AM
You already have received the coins in your address here check this out.

https://blockexplorer.com/address/1Jr15PwD9UvvXe823gVUY9f3Zy2UKZXZuL

I don't know why people tend to use wallets which doesn't give them private keys to their addresses? if this case is like that then whatever happens is on you, you should never trust your bitcoins to anything but the saved (somewhere safe) private keys.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: April 19, 2017, 08:24:50 PM
Not only 30% of earth's core is of pure gold but even our moon could contain millions of tones of pure gold since moon is the biggest remaining part of the collision between earth and mars 2 billion years ago.
Gold is truly GOLD you know what I mean? but when I put some thoughts on it after a while I realized what happens if someday I want to run away go migrate to another country due to war or anything political related then if I'd wanted to take my wealth with me which I accumulated over past 30 years all in gold bars how the hell could I take them with me considering I myself might even need to hide in some tight place to escape.

Then comes to my mind, oh well I could've easily converted them all to bitcoins way back when everything were safe and sound and either write some private keys on a paper or just save it in the cloud and have access to them from virtually any where on this planet with access to internet.
I mean it bitcoin truly is better than gold in many cases.

All they have is because of the holy cities of Muslims, when it's prayer time everyone leaves their shops open and go to the mosque anyone having the audacity to steal anything will lose one hand no question asked Cheesy
I gotta tell you that those rich sheikhs pay for young and beautiful girls overtly.

Lets not giving them too much credit though as they might feel funny in their bellies and fund terrorism if they find it more convenient and discrete.

All they have is by the grace of God otherwise it's just desert.
