1641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 09, 2017, 10:28:09 AM
No wonder, there are unlimited ways to earn bitcoins similar to what are the methods you are using to earn fiats. If you're not getting paid in bitcoin, just buy it with your wages.

I'm saying these because people do ignore the opportunities which are paying good but only for the reason of not getting paid in bitcoins. I like to suggest not to look on-which you are getting paid, just accept the payments and buy bitcoin with them if you prefer to.

Buying them with our wages I think is the best way to earn Bitcoin.  It is like earning Bitcoin with what we have already.  No need for extra work or side job.  All we need to do is just put our money that is intended for saving to buy Bitcoin.  Since Bitcoin can be a store of value, we are not moving away from the original path of savings our hard earned money.  The good thing is, there is a chance that this money saved in form of Bitcoin will increase in value.
1642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As it turns out, Craig Wright actually is Satoshi! on: April 09, 2017, 09:22:22 AM
...
Shame on you, CSW!

Robsa comments at coindesk: "Someone or the group that invented bitcoin solved the double spending problem for digital currencies, implemented the first blockchain, deployed the first decentralized digital currency and did so while remaining unknown. They are unlikely to then act as clumsily as Wright."

Craig may have known who the real Satoshi was, and acts as if he knows that if he makes outrageous claims, he wouldnt be refuted by the real Satoshi...so he knows Satoshi died in 2013.

Though some of the information had or may resembles the person who died last 2013 due to a car accident, it has not been founded that he is really satoshi.  So all we have right now are just speculation and wild guesses.  Only one thing to prove who the real satoshi is and that is to move the Bitcoin address that is under Satoshi's or sign a message from it.
1643  Economy / Economics / Re: The free Market and Bitcoin on: April 08, 2017, 06:48:24 PM
I guess this is the reason why cryptocurrency are getting popular.  It get rids of regulation.  We are free to setup our demand and sell price.

The thing is, you can pump&dump bitcoin's price freely if you have the power. (money) Because it's a free market but your FIAT's power of being able to pump&dump prices is decided by someone else. (the central banks) So it's not that free. :p Got it now?

This is a good differentiation of a free market.  No body are regulating the price so everyone has the right to pump or dump the market.  While in fiat, if ever there is some irregularities happening, central authority butt in and fix the issue.
1644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Crimes, and Terrorism on: April 08, 2017, 06:35:39 PM
I think Bitcoin is not that anonymous, I read some articel (can't remember the title) said that FBI can even trace those Bitcoin that was transacted using mixers, so lots of illegal activities now are into real anon coins when it comes to their transaction.  It can be used to support terrorist but Bitcoin will only compromise their activities.  And I guess terrorist already know that
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 08, 2017, 06:22:18 PM
Why waste your life noodling around to earn piddling amounts? Earn USD,EUR, GBP or whatever and buy it. There are approximately 1 trillion more ways to end up with more Bitcoin via that method. Uncool but true.

Best advice Smiley unless OP wanted to earn Bitcoin and not buy them.

Recently, I've been trading bitcoins on btc-e, earning only a little, yes, very little, except the fees that btc-e takes.

Besides trading, are there any good method to earn bitcoins?   Thanks.

Snipped

Details can be found here on https://bitcoinprofit.net/info/page/earn_bitcoin

Honestly, I don't think faucet should be on that least. I've done faucets before, it's completely a waste of time. except you plan owning your own faucet.

Well you earn Bitcoin dusts with faucet, no matter how small it is, an earning is an earning.

I cannot add more since I guess they all have been said in the earlier post, but I can only say, no matter what method you chose, focus and excel on it.
1646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the price of Dogecoin be by the year 2020? on: April 05, 2017, 06:32:19 PM
I think Dogecoin will be in Litecoin market by the year 2020,  you can see the chart on how it declines after the pump of wolong.  And the supply in circulation keep on increasing which means, more supply less demand.  I do not hate Dogecoin, in fact I like this meme coin but we should see the reality and live in it.
1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One thing missing in people's price speculation. on: April 05, 2017, 06:14:54 PM
Randomness!

There are some super smart guys on this forum who think they can predict coins like LTC due to actual facts. It's almost hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic. The truth is 90% of big moves are irrational and based on intangible human moods and whims.

I've made more money than most simply sticking my finger in the air and testing the mood, often being contrarian rather than following the crowd. But seriously logic is the last thing you want to follow.

Definitely logic should be the first one we must follow.  I was looking at the exchange last week and I saw XRP at less than 1k satoshi, I told my friend to invest on XRP since it has been too long that this coins had been pump and probably the following days will be the day.  My friend took my advice and bought XRP and now thanking me that he has almost made 12x profit from the trade.  I don't know, it only logical to think that all popular coins are pumping and XRP had yet to pump.  And my speculation is right.
1648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: April 05, 2017, 05:51:35 PM
it is still not the time that we say good bye to triple digit as we saw that the price of bitcoins going down to triple digit from 1300$ . until and unless it is reaching the price of bitcoins is 2000$ we cant bid goodbye and i dont think it is likely going to happen nearby soon.

Bitcoin price is highly volatile so I have to agree with you on Bitcoin possibly revisiting triple digit price.  But as of now I guess we can just enjoy this recovery to 4 digit and hope that it will stay as is and even go forward to 5 digit price after a year or two.
1649  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin prices go to the moon? on: April 05, 2017, 05:20:28 PM
I wish to see other countries follow the btc footsteps of Japan. Once this happens we can expect that rocket-moon... but for now, please expect a lot of rocket-science specs.  Grin Grin Grin

Aside from Japan, Philippines also acknowledge Bitcoin as payment, I also wish that more and more country will look at Bitcoin as money and acknowledge it as mode of payment.  There will be hurdles before Bitcoin prices go to the moon, but with the community and developers actively developing and promoting Bitcoin there is no doubt Bitcoin price will go to the moon.
1650  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: April 05, 2017, 04:14:30 PM
Its so simple holding can give you big profit in the right time. Earning ,buying  ,investing  for long term  without any selling just pure holding will make you rich after 20 years. If only you can wait for that 20 years.

If you are just going to do pure holding, you can earn big. But if you are going to hold and you can see that the price is already good for selling, then sell it and wait again for the time to become low, then buy. By doing this type of activity, your goal of earning big by not selling will become bigger as you are taking the advantage of it.
each user has their price targets respectively. at least they will hold their bitcoin and will not sell them before they reached the target price in order to benefit
It's true, because if you don't have a target price when to sell, you'll miss a lot of chance of getting bigger profit with the market's buy and sell, pump and dump. When there's a pump just keep on waiting at a certain price and if you think that later or for the next days the price will be going down, just simply sell and buy at low.
Buying and selling randomly is profitable, but when one has a better day job earning he can consider it an long term holding. Because it gives the maximum profit in the future as the price pump and dump are a part of the growing technology.
If your earnings is only from bitcoin then you cannot afford to miss short term fluctuations as that is the only way from where you can make profits but if bitcoin is an investment or an secondary source of income then its better to hold them for a long term.

Trading is not the only way to make a profit.  You can also do some service if you know some skills that some of the employer is looking for and get paid in Bitcoin.  Inexperience trader often lost Bitcoin due to fluctuation.  But if you are a trader and that is the only means of earning you know than I would agree to capitalize on fluctuation of Bitcoin price.
1651  Economy / Speculation / Re: Google says 1 BTC is worth 1 386 969$ on: April 05, 2017, 11:21:49 AM
I tried to google it out and upon searching the same words "5.487 btc in eur" it showed 5884.68 euro's and changing the decimal point (.) to comma (,) it showed "5884681.08" euros. I'm not from EU though.

Maybe it's a glimpse of the future?!

Hmm.. maybe it's a conspiracy from google and they know the future of bitcoin?  Roll Eyes

Try it with vpn and use europe portal.  Probably the result is like that because you are using a different version of google than the op had used.  Anyway, I do hope that price of 1 Bitcoin will be like that.   It will make every member of this forum with at least 1 BTC in stash a millionaire.
1652  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 05, 2017, 11:08:05 AM
Of course, it depends on your needs and goals. At first, it was difficult for me to understand how to manage my money. However, I read here http://www.mantasticlife.com/mantastic-roles/ about the types of people and their roles in business and life. And I clearly realized my position and further actions.

One thing I am sure about this two, they are both needed to elevate our means of living.  If we have plans and do not have enough fund for it, we can save money each time we receive our salary then if we have saved enough then we can use it for our planned investment.  And the cycle starts again.  Saving for future use and investment.
1653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would bitcoin coexist with digital fiat in the future? on: April 05, 2017, 10:36:54 AM
So in the future, fiat currency will become digital only and cash will completely disappear. Credit cards will also disappear. People will be implanted with chips that contain all their information and they'll need the chips when buying or selling goods

 I have many questions:

How would bitcoin coexist in the future with this method of payment?

Will it get accepted as a second currency?

What about other crypto currencies or bitcoin forks?

I think whenever a digital national currency exist and the paper money does not exist anymore, Bitcoin will function as another currency which can be use as an alternative to any nation's currency.  Since bitcoin provides ease of transfers without any bank intervention, people might find it worth using as an altenative than their own's nation in sending currency world wide.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: April 05, 2017, 08:51:42 AM
What will happen if Bitcoin suffer a hardfork in this case? This could mess up all this great implementations. What you guys think?

we think this "what if" is becoming as pointless as the similar what if topics such as "what if internet goes down" and "what if 3rd world war starts".

it is not going to happen. and the possibility of it is too small. or have you missed one of the biggest mining pools saying we will never allow the hard fork to happen?!!

and this was possibly said a million times but i am going to repeat it one more time for you.
no miner will switch to another fork unless it has at least 90% of the network support (both hash rate and nodes and services).

I think BU needs only 75%  of the hash network to implement a fork.   Hard fork is not impossible to happen, Bitcoin had experienced hard fork before so saying it is impossible for Bitcoin to hardfork is  quite wrong.  And I do not believe that Hardfork will have a great effect  negatively to Bitcoin community.  This is just FUD that had been spread around to play with the market.
1655  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: April 04, 2017, 11:36:22 PM
The best investment strategy is investing in myself.  Getting all the possible knowledge I can get when it comes to trading.  This will enable me to trade effectively and book a profit in every trade market i choose. Aside from that, all the knowledge that we had accumulated will always give us references to a better decision.
1656  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: April 04, 2017, 11:27:25 PM
paper money or cash will die, but I dont see it happening in the US for another 30 or so years. They will slowly pull it out of circulation and not just ban it all at once.

Paper money will definitely become obsolete and replaced by digital currencies.  It is the fate of Paper money.  Somehow it needs to evolve into something more appropriate to its current technology.  And that evolution will be, becoming a digital currency where transfers and transaction is much easier and faster.
1657  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin prices go to the moon? on: April 04, 2017, 11:11:08 PM
Some users say its going to MARS already. Smiley

Back when the price of BTC was just $400+ people hype it and that it goes to the moon and it does when it reach $700 and the rest says "i told you so".
Come next month they once again predict BTC will go to the moon, maybe they mean Mar's moon. Its always the moon that's the destination, we don't wanna venture to the meteors roaming around the space. Its too risky  Grin

I do not care what ever planet or moon of a planet where Bitcoin is, all that matters is its ever rising price value.  Bitcoin seems getting stronger now, maybe it is preparing to break its new ATH soon.  A solved scaling problem will definitely help Bitcoin to attain this.

Well, the current price really be so high. but, there is still a possibility that the price will be even higher. but I believe that the high prices will not stop here, and I believe, this is not the point of cessation of bitcoin prices. future, bitcoin prices will definitely be above $ 2000.

A price of $2000 per Bitcoin could happen this year. I wouldn't have said that a few months ago but after the price rose to around $1300 and there was a drop, Bitcoin surprisingly rebounded much better than I expected.

Still kinda tentative for me.  I think $1500  is a safe range for Bitcoin to target this year.  That is without the activation of anything that will make bitcoin scale.  And if ever Bitcoin updrade this year, then I would have to agree $2000 is inevitable.

1658  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 04, 2017, 10:53:23 PM
It is no news that banks are evil.  They prey on innocent people and take advantage of their deposited money.  They have the freedom to use it anywhere and charges depositors for maintenance fee and even eats the balance when it does not meet the minimum requirement.  And when it is time to get our money, we have to undergo several verification procedure before we can get our own money.
That's the problem though.  Once you give your money to the bank, it's not your money anymore.  It's the bank's money and because everyone holds money in the bank people have started leading themselves to believe that it's acceptable for banks to hold everyone's money, when in fact you are at their mercy.

That is the sad part of reality. People are being cheated right in front of their eyes and yet they agree with it and even bragged about it to their family and friends.  If only they knew that once they money is deposited in the bank, it is not their money anymore.  What they have is just a booklet of their transaction  that when banks wanted to forfeit it, they can do anytime.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about bonuses on btc casino ? on: April 04, 2017, 10:25:18 PM
If you try for once or twice you might will never do it, i mean to make the rollover cleared.
Try to give more effort by keep trying at least , not continuously of course.
Do it like once a month , take 5% of your total income and bring to a casino to claim the bonus and keep trying!

Even With or without bonuses , it is already hard to win to win in gambling site. Most people will not take the bonus provided from the site because your fund will not be able to be withdrawed . It I remember that long ago, satoshibet used to give their players no risk bonus code that could be withdraw when you reach the rollover
Lol things make you hard to cash out the money from a casino with profit is because the greedy.
With bonus everything turn more complicated and difficult , but always worth to try.
And yeaa i have received that no deposit bonus from satoshibet few years ago , i remember it was worth 0.02 really feel like giveaway Cheesy .

I agree with you.  This is the reason why I never claim any bonuses from any Casino site.  Instead of playing and withdrawing your funds freely, Claiming bonuses will only make it difficult for us to withdraw our fund.  We have to meet the requirement to be able to get the bonus but the problem is, even before we can finish the requirement, our bankroll and bonus are already lost.
