1681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: March 28, 2017, 09:38:52 PM
I was late to the bitcoin users list. Even now I don't feel this to be late to get a better profit out of it. Early adopters made a big earning through bitcoin and now I too believe that working hard and smart with bitcoin will help us make money as the earning access of bitcoin is increasing.

Just because you joined bitcoin now, it doesn't mean that you can't make profit out of it. Just wait for any price drop and then buy bitcoins and keep them for year or more, sell at larger price and you get profit. This way will give you profit, but problem is that this way is very slow, so i think it is better to use other ways to earn more bitcoins/money, as they are faster ( such as trading)

I agree but he need to learn how to trade first else if he tried to trade without knowing the basic then there is a big possibility the outcome will not awesome or a probable loss.  Getting profit in trading is easier said than done.  If he has skill, he can offer it and earn or have profit in BTC.  That is safer than jumping into trades without having a knowledge or skill to do so.
1682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value pegged to Altcoin Value? What do you think? on: March 28, 2017, 08:44:31 PM
Hey guys,

was wondering. the price of altcoins is pegged to bitcoin. When value of bitcoin is going down, altcoin value goes down too. How do you make a profit now?
Unless you buy the cheap bitcoins now and change it to altcoins.

Some suggestions. Thanks!

I do not think that is accurate. When Bitcoin goes down in value in fiat, the altcoins rise in value against Bitcoins. Look at Poloniex, all the altcoins are in a bull run at the moment.

Seem they are inversely propotional since altcoins and Bitcoin are pegged to dollar. When Bitcoin decrease in dollar value and altcoin remain constant, we can see altcoin rising in price value and vice versa. So I guess this is the reason why altcoin decrease in price when Bitcoin price increase.
1683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: March 28, 2017, 08:26:02 PM
sometimes, when you say goodbye to the bitcoin price figures are 3 digits, sometimes the price is really back. well, maybe it is normal that we are happy if the bitcoin price rises, but it might make us disappointed when the price of bitcoin really came back on 3-digit, even more so for the moment.

This is fluctuation, and smart traders make a profit out of it.

The block size problem can be fixed very easily! This has been going on for way too long though.
I can only imagine the positive effect on Bitcoin if the scaling problem ever gets fixed. Bitcoin already has thousands of transactions every 10 minutes. It is a good thing to have that many transactions, it shows the need to transfer money and actually use Bitcoin.
Increase the limits and Bitcoin can grow. One way or another. I don't care how.
Or, wait until some unimportant pre-mined or centrally controlled alt-coin takes over.

I agree, it can be easily fixed but the thing is there is two major group that have different proposal about it and they are competing against each other to get the upper hand and control.  I still wondering why this two camp are not adjusting to accommodate both plans and emerge with a new proposal that all of us can have benefits.
1684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost 1,100 on: March 28, 2017, 07:22:14 PM
bitcoin prices will probably arrive at a price of $ 1100, but I probably will not sell bitcoin I had when the price has to. Well, I waited for more than $ 1150 before starting to sell bitcoin I have, it might be very good.

I hope it does arrive at $1100, but as of this point with the widespread FUD and striking fear and uncertainty to the heart of traders, probably it will take Bitcoin longer.  We also cannot remove the facts about the HF which can pull the price of Bitcoin down.  But I do believe that after this drama and forks, Bitcoin will rise again and bring another ATH record.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE SEND BTC WITHOUT ANY FEES??? on: March 28, 2017, 06:32:13 PM
Hello users.
Does anyone know any method to send BTC to users with less fees.
.
Cause Blockchain and many other major wallets are going crazy on the fees...

I wonder how Direct faucets give BTC with very much or less fees.
.
I would like to know how they do it.
Thanks!

You can send transaction without fee.  But the problem with this is the confirmation which is stated on the first reply.  But if you are aching for free transfers then you can create a web wallet on some sites that enable you to send bitcoin without fee since they are the one shouldering the transaction fee.  One of which is Xapo.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: March 28, 2017, 04:33:39 PM
I store my bitcoins in bitcoin wallet, in my country we have coins.ph so that application is what I use to store my bitcoin. It has instant cashout you can convert your bitcoin into money in just few minutes. So for me online bitcoin wallet is the best.

I am from PH too but rather than storing my Bitcoin at coins.ph, I have myself set up a lightweight wallet to at least give myself a control over the private key of my Bitcoin.  There is no doubt about the reputation of Coins.ph since it had been the major third party exchange of Bitcoin to fiat currency in our country, but i can still say it is best to have your bitcoin in your controlled address.
1687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: March 28, 2017, 06:04:11 AM
Holding bitcoins on a long term basis would be the best way to gain more returns.Holding in short term basis would be beneficial only for altcoins as their price is so volatile. We could see the steady rise of bitcoin price from the last six months irrespective of ETF disapproval,BU.

I could not agree more.  This current dips in price is just a test on the threshold of the holders. Weak hands dump, strong hand hold, faithful hand buy.  We can see developers actively developing and updating Bitcoin with the best possible way they can.  This drama will eventually end, either thru soft fork or hardfork and a possible of chain-split.  After this incident we can see Bitcoin to scale and start  increasing its price again.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: March 28, 2017, 04:49:44 AM
I think if the country has allowed the gambling as legal then there should not be any shame as such unless the person keeps on losing and still plays the games and loses .

While if country has ban it and still he plays then he should be ashamed.

I agree as long as it is legal in one country a person should not feel ashamed being a gambler.  A Person should feel that way if he is neglecting his duties and responsibilities to his job and family due to gambling.  But as long as he is doing his part in everything, gambling should not be a thing to be ashamed of.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: March 28, 2017, 04:34:42 AM
Invest but not blindly.
Yeah i know what i said will make tell wtf is wrong with him but i wanted to tell you that currently there are many scam sites which scam their investors. What i did was observed the profit waited for it to drop invested at leverage 10 and got a profit of 15% for that month. Mostly invest on dice sites but still it's your wish
Investing in dice sites are considered as low risk only if you put your money on  a reputable site, they'll never run away with your money especially if they are doing well in terms of profitability. However, due to slow return people are not so attracted with it as most of us are not really a big capitalist and we want the opposite results which is fast and most likely we will be scam only, my suggestion is better learn to trade and manage your own money.

Investing in gamble site is still a high risk in my opinion, since your investment is still put to the house bankroll and is being gambled every time people gamble in that site.  If a big whale got lucky and won a huge amount, your investment will automatically consumed and give you a negative profit in return.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: March 28, 2017, 03:37:52 AM
Giving up is the most hardest part in life. You choose from it weather you stay addicted or leave with so much pain in your heart. Yes it is so hard your happy, you make fun with friends but it sucks you to the reality that no one is permanent. You better quit or leave than to stay with so much pain. Being addicted to gambling is a desease. So you better give up step by step.

This statement depends on the status of  a person.  A non-gambling addict will easily give up gambling anytime he wanted.  But a gambling addict will definitely have a hard time in giving up playing gambling games.  This is due to him being dependent on gambling to alter his mood.  Another person will be the one who is obsessed in gambling due to his fear of missing out.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: March 26, 2017, 09:02:01 PM
Gambling is not a place if we are targeting to gamble and thinking about the winning profit..  because gambling is made for fun not for spending our money for nothing. but if you are just looking for fun you should gamble that you can afford to lose.. if not better to don't gamble instead save your money for your future purposes.

Seems you are confused my friend.  First you are thinking to gamble, of course you will go to a gambling place.  Winning is a part of gambling and so is losing.  Gambling is not made for fun, but made to make profit.  If the owner does not have profit in this, I bet he won't be spending tons of money for the operation.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2017, 10:33:06 PM
As of now, aside from trading and getting profit, I cannot see why people should use Bitcoin.  There are lots of drama, and the problem with scaling.  The faction debate on which solution is best and throwing blames to each other.  As long as this problem is not solved, I cannot find any reason why should I use or people use Bitcoin.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is getting out? on: March 23, 2017, 09:11:58 AM
I won't be cashing out, if chain split happen this means I have doubled my BTC, one on each chain.  More profit for me  Grin.  Just learn from ETH - ETC split.  Lots of people who holds huge amount of ETH profited on those split.  I just need to make sure that I have my BTC on the wallet address that I have the control.
1694  Economy / Speculation / Re: What keeps Bitcoin price stable? on: March 22, 2017, 03:54:33 PM
Price rising =  rumours + good news
Price going down =  bad news + panic selling + whales cashing out

But what factors keep Bitcoin price stable?
I have not seen stable bitcoin price since I am using bitcoin.there is always fluctuation in bitcoin price sometimes it is more and at other times less fluctuation

Same here so I guess there is no answer to that question.  Adoption brings in people so it will definitely increase the price which make it move and then there will also people who will sell their Bitcoin that will create a fall in Bitcoin price.  This thing happen everyday.  So I guess there will be no stable price in trading.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: March 22, 2017, 03:35:50 PM
great update from dev. Just focus on the development and we will help you accumulating some cheap icob.

I just bought around 50k ICOBID, not much but I guess it will help a bit.  I will be waiting for further news.  It seems that the platform is a bit lonely.  I checked it and there is not much of activity.  Honestly nothing much of interest had been seen there.  I hope that platform will be as active as this forum.
1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCU or Bitcoin Unlimited for sale at Bitfinex on: March 22, 2017, 03:20:33 PM
I wonder if bitcoin split had occurred already. I was browsing in my facebook when I saw a post by a certain Enrique telling that Hardfork was already started and BCU is already for sale. I tried to double check it and verify it on cryptocompare to see if that claim was true. Then finally I find out that Bitfinex was already selling BCU at 0.35 btc each per coin.

Any thought on this matter guys?
Bitfinex is only selling BCU tokens, hard fork hasn't happened yet. visit this(https://www.bitfinex.com/cst_token_terms) link and read it thoroughly.

What if fork never happened? What happen to this BCU tokens and BCC tokens?  I think Bitfinex is making money again out of thin air.  We should think twice before getting into this scheme.  I wonder how much had been sold so far?
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 22, 2017, 02:35:36 PM
when people stop using it
it is one of them. but of course there are other reasons why bitcoin users do not use anymore?
perhaps because of increasing problems on bitcoin, and bitcoin then present competitors from more intense?

Even people do not use Bitcoin as long as there is someone dedicated to mine the network, Bitcoin will not die.  To kill Bitcoin we need to stop the miners, transaction then will be left unconfirmed and the network will not move and stay idle.  With this, blockchain not moving will means Bitcoin had die.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitPesa: solving money remittance issues in Africa on: March 22, 2017, 01:37:44 PM
Hi Guys!

Bitpesa seem to be a proof that bitcoin can solve problems even in areas that has the least resources when it comes to technology and communication.
It may not help the people directly but it creates a big impact in the country's economy, which will eventually benefit them. With Afro-sino trades growing in the country, Bitpesa focused its services in accepting Bitcoin remittances from China. It lowers cost of transfer fees and eased delays in sending payments to Africa.

Read our article to know more about the Bitcoin exchange hereSmiley

Are you saying that Bitpesa is planning to remove bitcoin from China and transfer it to Africa. Well that is not something we should surprise of the major exchanges in China still cannot enable its withdrawals and Chinese miners and btc holders needs another portal to sell and distribute their bitcoins and the target is Africa. I dont have something against it since Africa is really a good market and Bitcoin could help many lives and undemployed can find jobs or ways of earning online just like me. More power to Bitpesa.

Maybe because of the tight regulation of China in their exchanges and BitPesa maybe are having a hard time complying with the requirements the probable reason  why they are moving to Africa, that less regulate Bitcoin.  Aside from that since Africa is a possible growing market for Bitcoin, it is always nice to be one of the pioneer of the service.  Aside from that if Bitpesa offers a lesser fee then people in Africa will greatly benefit from this stuff.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: March 22, 2017, 01:00:36 PM
It is number one because of its good quality and features that people really love to it. And it is more secure, secure than bank now.
Many people now involving their selves to it because they can see the bright future of bitcoin.

Good quality?  The inability to scale in large transaction? Is that what you call good quality?  Aside from that altcoins are more advance than bitcoin, though it was set aside because Bitcoin have a massive community because of it being the first mover to decentralized blockchain that makes Bitcoin popular.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: March 22, 2017, 10:13:37 AM
The question we should ask ourselves is "on what reason should bitcoin be banned? One if it is that if it is  not being used for money laundering and  used by terrorist organization to transfer fund then bitcoin can not be ban. It is widely being accepted daily.

It is really not just that reason. They can create this technique to manipulate people's and that would be easy considering they can control the media. Just one news can change it all.
It is really the threat for a free currency that they wont have any control with. What would they get with something that is used with freedom and they cant just apply tax easily.
Let’s look at it this way, if for example both north America and Europe both ban bitcoin at the same time that will make the bitcoin price plummet, but if one country ban it that won’t make much of a difference because there would be a shift of the exchanges and bitcoin holding from that country to another, but if enough major countries ban it than the bitcoin will be reduced to a novelty traded item in which neither consumers or clients would be willing to invest in.

What you are citing is true.  As long as there is some place to accept Bitcoin and that place has a big demand of it, then it will more likely absorbed the Bitcoin that is going to be sold resulting to fast recovery of Bitcoin Price but if all of the big players country choose to ban bitcoin then a sharp fall is observed since there will be no one to support the dumping of Bitcoin.
