61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: October 13, 2021, 04:29:38 AM
Cryptocurrency is essential for the development of a country?
Does cryptocurrency play an effective role in the development of the country? Or does it hinder the development of the country and cause extreme damage to the country?
What do you think about this?
I wouldn't say its an alternative or it affects the country in a bad way, but for sure it offers an option for the people that they are able to chose and make use for different reasons, because the fiat and the physical money that is being controlled by the government is a subject to many laws and restrictions that making transactions would take a lot of processing, where you can easily do it with crypto without having to go through intermediates or third parties like banks and in a more secure and anonymous way.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 12, 2021, 07:41:01 PM
There is a lot of shilling lately (again) with "the flippening" event happening. Ethereum has created a new market which is basically 99% scam tokens, rugpulls, pump and dumps and NFTs which are probably used for money laundering. Anyway, the thing is, there is definitely if a demand for all of that, even if it's all based on a platform that's not decentralized.

So to the point: Would you quit if a centralized shitcoin managed to surpass Bitcoin in marketcap? At that point it would be clear that entire space is a joke. Bitcoin would still march on as usual, but it would be just sad to see people putting their money on shitcoins rather than on the only actually decentralized blockchain worth anything.
You have to ask the reason why are people putting their money into shitcoins, and that is because they want to get rich quick, so as long as there is a trend where they are able to make profit they will always follow the money line, and for a coin to surpass bitcoin it would take some really insane technology that changes the whole world, because bitcoin has not reached this point in a day, so bitcoin is going to stay relevant and profitable for a long time so people will always follow it and invest in it.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Movies. on: October 12, 2021, 07:33:15 PM
I think that the bitcoin being present in movies and series has been one of the things that spread maybe miss information and also moved the curiosity of many people, because whenever there is is reference to hacking and dark web they are always showing bitcoin in a bad way, and that is being used for those things, when the reality if farm from that because the majority of the bitcoin is being used for legal things, and has more use for it than what they are depicting.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: October 12, 2021, 06:24:02 AM
Haven't spent some hours thinking about the advantage that is associated with Bitcoin in company ecosystems, new start-ups that are located in crypto-friendly countries are now diving into Bitcoin as payment against the regular faint traditional currencies, after administering questionnaires to some of the business CEOs stated the reason to be the anonymous nature and its intrinsic value. That is to say, Bitcoin is a business within a business because of its decentralized nature and volatile market.
So the company gain in two ways for accepting bitcoin for payments and if the price of bitcoin goes upward interest are generated also.
You have a point but you are not taking in consideration of the fact when the price goes down the businesses will be at a loss because you are looking at it from your own point of view, so lets say that you are a owner of a shop you buy stuff from a company that manufactures goods and sells them to business at a price using fiat, so you buy from them something for 10 dollars and you sell it for 12 using bitcoin, the next week the price dips and you are left with 9 you will be at a loss, i think crypto and bitcoin are a great payment option but not for business to depend on.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 12, 2021, 06:10:29 AM
Considering the fact that China keeps fighting to make sure they totally ban anything that has to do with Crypto (Bitcoin), we now notice that these days, their announcements now has less negative effect on Bitcoin, I.e Bitcoin don't fall careless again because of news from China like before.

But yet, investors and Bitcoin enthusiasts like me are beginning to worry if on the long run, China's ban can have a lasting drastic effect on Bitcoin or not.?
I fell the reason why the news about China and crypto, isn't affecting the prices that much anymore is because they did affect it when they said they were going to ban the mining of crypto that alone has made the prices dip a lot, especially since they were the number one in terms of mining rate in the world, and obviously most people were sure that it was a matter of time before they were going to ban its use completely, that is why the news had no significant negative impact recently.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trades at $56,000 as daily settlement value hits $31 billion on: October 12, 2021, 05:20:33 AM
October has been declared a month for the bearish move of Bitcoin since the inception of the positive signals amidst notions predicted, and yet it come to a reality as Bitcoin hit an Hallmark of $31 billion on daily settlement value this same month while it bearish move landed at $56k tremendously, unfortunately to altcoins happens that no observable changes is encountered.

Also, Bitcoin emerges with an outstanding surge to have as at last year with transactions rates increased with over 40% till date, isn't it coming to reality as recently predicted of Bitcoin to reach between $90k to $120k before the end of 2021. Wouldn't it be regrettable to those who fail to have invested earlier on as more visible futures is in Bitcoin, thou its the first crypto and yet maintain it uniqueness and standard among others.Bitcoin trades at $56,000 as daily settlement value hits $31 billion what is our respective intake towards this developments.
I think that there has been a trend over the last couple of years, where at the end of each year and with the finial three months, the prices of cryptocurrency in general surge and go up like crazy, i don't know why this happens or is there is something related to it but either way, the fast price increase is always brining in more people to invest why is by itself is driving the price even further, at this rate and under to right condition we will see the 100k by the end of the year or at least at the start of 2022.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin a threat to China? Is China deliberately imposing sanction on BTC on: October 07, 2021, 12:08:50 AM
Probably the reason why bitcoin has became a threat in china is due to the fact that it gave too much freedom, bitcoin has been very popular among Chinese since they hold the highest mining rate in the world and the were able to use it freely and not having to worry about the government, but because of that and because of how they can't hold control over the bitcoin network and we all know how the Chinese need to have always be tracking their people's movements and actions, it posed a threat that needed to dealt with before it got more popular.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need help about some coin prices. on: October 07, 2021, 12:04:10 AM
Hello,
I know people here are cautious about sharing analysis. I need help about the price of some coins and I'm thankful if anyone who likes to help, PM me.

Thank you.
Asking for help and advice is not a bad thing but be careful of what you are asking for, because the internet is full of people who are trying to exploits the fact that you are new and will scam you out of your money, so if you are trying to make some money do not trust anyone or anything before making sure it is legit and doing some good research on it, and especially in the crypto trading business where they will always try to make you invest in some dead coins.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6000 coinbase clients hacked on: October 06, 2021, 11:59:27 PM
Another example why using central exchanges is risky. The hackers knew private data of the users. One corrupt employee or one successful hack and bad guys capture your email, home address, phone number and sell it to local criminals who might knock on your door then best encrypted wallets are useless. Cryptocurrencies are designed for peer to peer usage. If you change it into peer to bank to peer then this adds some risks.

https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/coinbase-says-hackers-stole-cryptocurrency-least-6000-customers-2021-10-01/
Well to be honest using centralized exchanges and keeping some huge amount of your investment on it is a stupid idea, and any traders should be knowing that high funds are always at risk and his data is exposed if he is using an online, and to honest hacks are bound to happen one way or another and they are always done by some form of human error and there will always be some loophole in the security that somonesomwhere in the world will use it, so it is better to have control over your own funds rather keeping it in the hands of others.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: October 06, 2021, 11:52:07 PM
Bitcoin price is still on a positive trend, I think for now buying bitcoin is more profitable than buying altcoins.
Instead, I prefer to buy altcoins because the prices of some altcoins are a bit cheap. While Bitcoin, I think it is better to wait for at the moment because the price of Bitcoin has already increased a bit significantly lately. I suspect the Bitcoin price will have a correction in the near future, before the price tries to test reaching $60k. Remember that the price of crypto coins won't increase all week, it should have time to decrease or be sideways.

It is not just about being profitable, it is also about having a safe investment, because if you think about it if you invest in bitcoin right now and even the price goes down eventually in the long term the price will surpass your investment point because the price is always increasing so you will eventually have profit, but with bitcoin that insurance does not exist, you can invest in some cheap coin in hopes of making some profit and end up losing all you investment because altcoin are not good for long term.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa’s crypto market has grown by more than 1,200% since 2020: Chainalysis on: October 06, 2021, 11:48:23 PM
This news is a statement to show how the government have failed the people in securing a stable financial system, since we all know Africa holds the largest number of developing and poor countries, and seeing how many people are using bitcoin and crypto in these country shows how dedicated and ready to constantly improve even though their countries have failed to support them, so they are taking the matter in their own hand and making transaction using bitcoin and other crypto.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent inflation or "just temporary" on: October 06, 2021, 11:39:59 PM
A few leaders of OCDE countries are speaking wishfully about inflation, stating that this is just "a temporary peak". However this may or may not be the case. Even the people with best information (CEOs of large companies and perhaps some ministers) are unclear about how long do we have to endure inflation.

My translation for this is "we do not know if we can effectively pass the burden of all the money we printed onto the labour or the salaries will rise paving way for sustained high inflation in two years".
The problem with inflation is that is a temporary solution but has a draw back that will last for ages, and economist are always use it because they don't care about the far future they care about fixing the problems that they are facing, especially with the pandemic that lasted for 2 years and we are still seeing it economical draw backs to this day, and there is no solution to it except printing more money according to experts, so the best way to battle it right now is to use store of values investment like bitcoin.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Twitter can make impact in the BTC world? on: October 06, 2021, 11:33:50 PM
We can't deny that twiiter is one of the most used social media in the world, and pretty much any of us uses is one way or another, and having twitter use bitcoin transaction as popular as it is i don't think that it will make any significant impact on it is use, if this news was to be done 3 years ago i would say that it is a huge thing, but now with how popular bitcoin has become and how normal people know about and know how to make transactions with it, it seems a normal thing.
74  Other / Off-topic / Re: [IMAGINE] SATOSHI HAS APPEARED TO PUBLIC?! on: October 06, 2021, 11:22:08 PM
What happen if satoshi nakamoto person has appear to public and give us all evidence that prove if he's right as Satoshi? I Just wondering what will happen and what all Pro-Centralized and Banker will do.

Is it reasonable to think it will be a trigger to power-nations and begin the WW3?
Bitcoin still does not and will have not enough power and place in the world economy that any change affecting it will affect the world in a significant way or to say start a war, if satoshi appears to the world he will not only be hurting himself because he will be followed by law and people, but depending on what happens to him it will affecting the bitcoin price itself.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 06, 2021, 11:14:34 PM
Bitcoin is still legal in many countries and illegal in many countries. Do you want, Bitcoin to be legal in your country?
Do you feel the need to legalize Bitcoin in your country?
Are your ideas about Bitcoin positive or negative?
What is your personal opinion about this?
What do you think, if bitcoin is legalized in your country, the country will be improved or will be damaged?
I definitely want Bitcoin to be legal in my country, and I feel the need to make Bitcoin legal in my country.
In my opinion i feel like bitcoin should just stay the way it is, not having any law that prevent its use, because not only governments will be using it to force investors to pay taxes, but they will be able to track who is using bitcoin in the country an information that otherwise they are not able to have, which makes using crypto as good as having fiat.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 10% increase in a day - why? on: October 06, 2021, 08:03:37 PM
It is always unknow whether the price has jumped due to some kind of news or because of some market movement, or probably both, but there is something that i have been noticing is that every year with the Q4 there is always a bit of surge in the prices, whatever the conditions and  the news, and it is still to this day unknown to me why that this is happening.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 06, 2021, 07:45:02 PM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?
Have you asked why gold actually has value, and that value is constantly increasing, that is because it has a limited supply and demand is what causing the price to go up and down, and that same logic is what is making bitcoin valuable even though it is not a physical thing, bitcoin has limited supply and it is constantly being mined and at a certain time that supply will get so small, and there will constantly be a demand therefore the price will always be up, so you should defiantly invest in it.
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: October 06, 2021, 07:36:50 PM
What are some of the best ways to learn more about trading?

Probably the best way to learn about trading at least the one that i found it work for me, is first get familiar with the basics and fundamentals of whatever you are trading, and than start trading with a demo account, and than start trying some of the strategies that some people are using and little by little you will be able to develop your own thing, by seeing what works and what does not, but take your time until you are sure you know what you are doing before making trades with real money.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Just because prices are high, doesn't mean that is a good investment. on: October 06, 2021, 07:17:23 PM
I think that you have a point, bitcoin and cryptocurrency have gained their popularity from the fact that its price is high and that same high volatile price is what got people hooked on it and investing millions of dollars in it, but this came at the cost of forgetting the true nature of what it is, because at first people invested in it for the concept and the fact that it is a new currency that will replace fiat, but now people do it just for the money and the profit and they don't care about it.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors Spent Millions on 'Evolved Apes' NFTs. Then They Got Scammed on: October 06, 2021, 07:01:22 PM
NFTs are still a hype that i am sure that it will soon die out, and because of that people are still to exploit people's overhyping something to scam just like what happened with ICOs back in 2017 and now we are seeing it happen with NFTs, and i am sure that people will soon come to realize how a waste of investment it is, and they will go back to using crypto because obviously it is the best promising and safe investment there is.
