941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not blindly trust telegram trading signals. on: July 19, 2018, 06:31:42 PM
Many of the telegram groups which give signals are run by the same people, I have noticed on multiple occasions of the groups giving the same signals. Many of the groups also conduct coordinated pump and dumps, and they usually send it in all the groups to gather a greater audience. Although some of the signals turn out to be correct, always do your own research before making a trade.
Indeed, it is better to avoid joining these groups or at least not take their word and their speculations seriously, because as you said theier predictions are based on nothing but mere guesses or hopes, and they say them just to influence people's decisions so it could meet thier intrest , and also they only give speculation about coins they are interested in and want to pump and dump.
942  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman gets paid to trash Bitcoin on: July 19, 2018, 06:21:24 PM
Well this is no surprise, I am sure that there are a lot of hands controlling the ones who are in the seat of power, by shoving money into their faces (if their jobs were not paying enough) to do things and make and breaks regulations as they please and as thier serves their intressets, and for this reason I am not surprised that bitcoin still has not been accepted till this day even though everyone knows that it is a technology worth developing, and the biggest proof to this is regulations that came to stop its rise last year and led to it going down since
943  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rise of bitcoin continues on: July 19, 2018, 06:06:44 PM
For some weeks now I don't hear people say bitcoin is dead any longer. I don't understand why this has stopped all of a sudden. Where are those who announced the death of our mother coin? Don't you think it is time for these same people to  announce the resurrection of bitcoin  Smiley. That is the power of bitcoin, it always keeps it doubter's mute.
Well this is an obvious thing, all those people who were saying so are the ones who have no idea about what bitcoin is capable of and they are the same people who only invested in bitcoin when they saw it rise last year and lost their investments because it did not meet their greedy expectations, and than they were so desperate into pushing people into selling, anyone who truly knows bitcoin know for a fact that it will never die and as low as it gets it will surely rise again.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone teach me? on: July 19, 2018, 03:46:47 PM
is there anyone here who can teach me to play poker with BTC and ETH bets?  Huh
Google and YouTube are your friends, you will not find anyone out there who is going to teach you how to play poker for free, and even if they do they won't add anything on what already exists in the internet from guides and videos, so what I really recommend you to do is to go and find a tutorial on the basic rules of poker and how to play it, and than you can find many gambling sites that will let you play for free, just so you can practice it before investing money into it, and make sure you reflect upon your mistakes after each game, so you can learn faster.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2018, 03:39:43 PM
All the things that are mentioned bow prove that ethereum is good and a scalable and up to date technology that serves its pourpouse well and opens a whole new window for using blockchain technology in many fields, however this does not mean that it will someday overthrown the bitcoin, because similar to fiat and gold, gold will ways have more value where fiat has a practical use, and so is the bitcoin and ethereum.
946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: July 19, 2018, 02:57:10 PM
I want to try daytrading because as I see, just buying something and holding is not profitable anymore. I am not new in crypto, however never tried daytrading.
I plan to begin with a very small amount at first for practice and then increase with time.
Can you please suggest platforms and coins for daytrading? I need a platform which has a good android app to trade from my smartphone.
Keep in mind that day trading is not profitable as it sounds, you may think that in a day you could make a good profit but that does not always happen because the market does not move as you wanted to, besides you need to keep in mind that you have to pay exchanging fees and transaction fees every time you make a trade, so a day worth of trading could just end up lost in transaction, so overall holding is more profitable in the long run, compared to day trading.
947  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: July 19, 2018, 02:50:06 PM
I came to a realization that government had stepped in already in some countries who are accepted and acknowledge cryptocurrency existence. In fact they made a regulations that has made some negative and positve reactions over the implementation of cryptocurrency regulations like doing KYC (Knoy Your Client) on local exchanges, Registering ICO projects to the government agency concerns and etc which purpose is to prevent illegal or abuse in the use of cryptocurrency from money laundering, funding terrorist groups and etc. Well can you say about this regulations, GOOD or BAD?
Honostly I don't mind any of these regulation, as long as I could use bitcoin freely and be able to pay for things directly with it in any supermarket or restaurant, than I would not mind governments accepting under the conditions of providing identity, because I am not afraid of them where my money is going because I have nothing to hide, and if people don't use it for illegal things than they would definetly accept it.
948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has really come back? on: July 19, 2018, 02:42:46 PM
Bitcoin prices have rebounded to over $ 7400 today with large volume trading. Normally, bitcoin prices will increase sharply at the end of the year and this year will be no exception, a lot of good news has been released and the movement of the market is very positive. If nothing changes I believe the bitcoin price at the end of this year will continue to peak as many people expect.
Bitcoin had a really bad start this year with its value constantly going down, and since people are not used to it being down they were all worried that their investments had gone down and they will not be getting any profit this year, but obviously that situation had to come to an end and the bitcoin is surely to recover, and iam pretty sure that in no time we will see bitcoin as one of trending things in the world just like last year
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Market is healthy again! on: July 18, 2018, 08:57:15 PM
While most of the cryptocurrencies are much below their earlier highs but there are newer and newer predictions coming up for cryptocurrencies. But one analyst is predicting a huge rise ahead for Bitcoin—with a forecast for it to reach as high as $50,000 in 2018. Why Is Bitcoin Price Changing So Fast?
This is no surprise, as soon as people see bitcoin rising they start speculating and telling their prediction about it going up to the roof, all these speculation are based on nothing besides their own interest, so listening to them is not a really good idea, however staying positive is always good, and by looking at the market you could definitely see that there are some improvements so keep holding and just see where it going, and keep alert.
950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the reasons why you must take risk in crypto market? on: July 18, 2018, 08:01:47 PM
Taking risks is a part of being a successful person, not just in terms or investment or trading, but in life in general, if you spend your whole life playing it safe and thinking that it will make you go far in life than you will spend your whole life wondering why you are stuck in the same place, so in cryptocurrency taking a risk will make you successful and will get you profit, because if you look at all the people who made it in this market are the ones who take risks, from holding on to bitcoin when it was  not a big thing.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Experts Are Still Excited About Bitcoin on: July 18, 2018, 12:57:57 AM
I think this article should boost the morale of bitcoin users. According to this CNBC article, despite bitcoin having a rough year, bitcoin supporters including financial experts, tech investors and CEOs remain excited and still see the digital currency breaking its record highs from last year. One CEO even referred to Bitcoin as digital gold.

Despite what the general media says, it’s definitely good that these respected experts in the finance world are expressing their support for the digital currency. This is good news and a big step forward, right? This could help influence others into accepting crypto as well. What do you think?

Source:
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/12/bitcoin-crypto-cryptocurrency-ether-etheruem-digital-currency.html

This is a typical thing, all what these articles say are what they want people to think, so they want people to think that bitcoin is going to go up and that they should invest in it, so basically they want to manipulate the market the that suits their interested, whole they have no idea about what is going to happen in the market, they just make speculation based on nothing but hopes, but it is always good to stay positive and hope for the best.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 17, 2018, 09:16:53 AM
I am curious to know if someone continually invested a lot of time in studying a game involved in gambling, further if he had played the game a lot to understand the intricacies involved, then can we call him an expert in that gambling game? If we do call him an expert then we clearly differentiate his experience and expertise from that of a novice. This clearly shows that the person is capable of winning more as an expert than the novice who really does not have the in-depth understanding of the play.

This brings us to an interesting question if hard work in gambling really pays off? If one puts in a lot of efforts to understand a game involved in gambling, does it mean that all his time has gone down the drain? Certainly no. If gambling were simply a blind guess or a wild shot then even years of studying it makes it useless because one is simply guessing the outcome blindly. But such is not the scenario with gambling in reality. What makes hard work count in gambling?

This further sets off the question of addiction in gambling. Work can also be an addiction for many. But here the addiction could be for perfecting the game and the art of playing. This kind of addiction is to struggle every time for success by proper calculation and review. However, addiction can also be due to pure greed of winning with no clear knowledge of the game. If hard work counts, then we may actually find a solution for a healthier addiction towards success in gambling.
Well for the most part some people will say that gambling is entirely a game of luck and it does not matter if you are new or an expert, but i personally think that luck makes up 70% of the gambling and 30% is skill, so the more you play and the more games you experience you start lowering the percentage of luck, and besides some games can entirely be based on skill and strategy and beating the system like blackjack where if you play many games and learn strategies and tricks like counting you can definitely make it a skill based game.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need altcoins investment advice guys. on: July 16, 2018, 10:29:47 PM
I don't like buying coins during ICOs, I prefer to buy after they list and the price goes down but I have a problem of investing in the right one that will yield profit because I have seen projects start to misbehave after ICO( listing on a very poor exchange, listing lower than ICO price or stop responding to some investor's questions). How does one know the right project that will yield profit to invest in or does one but gamble with coin or tokens to invest in?
Well obviously many ICO tokens start to go down in terms of price and the projects themselves do too as soon as they go on exchange, now the reason for that is because many people who invest a mot during pre-sale and the launch exchange their tokens for some profit, even if projects are good they seem to lose the hype and the popularity as soon as they launch, so what i recommend doing is to invest in ICOs on their pre-sales, and if they are good and popular their price will go up up until they launch, and then you can keep an eye on the price and based on it you can either hold them a bit longer or exchange them.
954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For this reason, wouldn't ETH be the future of all crypto? on: July 16, 2018, 09:14:06 PM
Hi, first time I create a thread myself on BitcoinTalk!

I wanted to bring into the discussion if there are many good projects under the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-20 tokens) that have a potential for the future, wouldn't ETH become super important since it is what you pay as a transaction fee.

I know there are many shit-projects under the Ethereum blockchain, but I am not worried about those, because we (the users of crypto) will figure that out and simply not use them. But every now and then a great project arises that can give a lot of value to making solutions in the world. Just wanted to hear your opinion on this.
Well in fact it is the future, and it will be because as you said ethereum has many project under its name and that is something that no other cryptoucurency was able to do which give the opportunity to developers to create and bring new ideas that can change our world and make thing way easier, but like bitcoin etehreum or at least ICOs are facing some heavy regulations that are slowing its progression and development.
955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Really possible to send money anonymously through Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2018, 12:13:20 AM
Hello,

I need to send some amount to one person anonymously. That means, the opposite person should not know my identity and source details. For this, I tried to register with Bitcoin provider. But, they are asking my bank account details to fulfill their KYC (Know your customer) norms. I understand and agree that I should give my bank account details to the provider. Once I send the amount through Bitcoin to the other person (Receiver), is there any possibility to track my details through Bitcoin? Is really Bitcoin is the trustworthy to send the money anonymously?

Thanks in advance.

CP
Well it is not gonna be anonymous if you get it from exchanges because they are legally obligated to require identification and that is to prevent money laundering and false use of bitcoin, ever since bitcoin rose up  and started making an impact on the world having people use it had to come at a coast and that is the anonymity that it had, but it is still possible to make anonymous transactions without the need for identifications using peer to peer exchange sites like localbitcoin where you can buy and sell bitcoin with many payment options.
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading or Holding Cryptocurrency for long time on: July 12, 2018, 07:15:24 PM
Considering the present market situation, which one will be more benefiting whether Daily trading or holding cryptocurrency for long time? Please let me know.
Obviously with the market going red it is just better to just hold, because even if prices go up in a day they won't go up that much so you won't be able to get as much profit as you would get by just holding it for a while and wait ing for the market to move a little, trading for the past few months has been really hard but surely we will see some improvement and some progress and hopefully we will be able to trade in any way we won't whether it is day trading or holding.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 12, 2018, 06:28:50 PM
To me the answer is No. Money alone doesn't make an individual rich. A lot of people go to work everyday, working for money and making more money, but fail to become richer. Ironically, many only grow deeper in debt.we have all heard stories of lottery winners who are instantly poor again. Also there are cases of real estate going into foreclosure instead of making homeowners richer. We all know of persons who have lost money investing in the stock market. Maybe you are one of those individuals who have lost money investing on cryptocurrency,Bitcoin to be precise. Even investing in gold(real money) can cost the investor money

For all intents and purposes, it is not business, estates, stocks, bitcoin (crypto currency) or money that makes a person rich. It is information, wisdom, knowledge that makes one wealthy.
Try to tell that to the poor people in Africa who are dying every day from starvation, if money does not make people rich than it does not make people poor either what is the use of knowledge and information if you can't utilize it, you can't go up to a poor kid and instead of giving him food or money to buy food you tell him listen i will teach you about bitcoin, he won't use it because he does not have a way to use it, money is all what this world is a ll about, we work for the money we kill for the money not to get rich but to survive.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO AND FIAT MONEY BEST COMBINATION on: July 12, 2018, 05:32:21 PM
Well we could not replace or get ride of the fiat currency even if we had a choice, cryptocurrency as said is not relevant for offline payments and for micro transactions, i mean do you rather pay 10$ worth of bitcoin or 10$ worth of fiat, of course the fiat because you know the bitcoin is going to go up and that 10$ that you spent may become 100$ in the future, so unless the cryptocurrency becomes stable in terms of price than people will not chose to use it for every day payments they would chose fiat.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: July 12, 2018, 04:34:08 PM
If you have 0.01 BTC start to bet from 0.00000010 and choose the multiply as 3. For every loss increase the bet size by 55 percent. It will surely give you profit.

The same is applicable for any coins.  The profit will be less. But it will be steady.
Looks like a good one. I used to bet on higher payouts with less percentage on increase. It's all about having a big bank roll and the mindset to stop after a minimum profit for a day.
Well even though this strategy seems good and will get you profit, but trust me when i say it does not, i have tried this strategy multiple time on multiple gambling sites and every time things seem to go well they don't, the losing streak just keep going and going and eventually i lose all my balance, i think that all the gambling dice sites are immune to this strategy or basically any strategy there is, because it seems logical to them to manipulate the system otherwise they would go bankrupt.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Crypto Market Gets Dump Again? on: July 12, 2018, 03:57:11 PM
Hello everybody,
Bitcoin and all crypto market is dumping...
I has lost about 20% of my budget. Not sure what happens but I still choose not to sell anything this time.
Well this is how the market goes one day you are at a win and the other you are at a loss, as for the reason why he market is going down i assume that it is just a price manipulation made by big whales, which has been dominated the market for the last months, many people thought the last week rise was the bull run and they started buying, and i almost did so, but gladly i didn't, so it is better to never get too hyped or negative, but just be prepared.
