801  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: April 20, 2019, 01:35:34 PM
Crypto currency can not have banks, the whole point of crypto is to be decentralized and banks deify that concept, with coins like bitcoin and ethereum where they are blockchain based they don't need a bank and the coins are stored in the network where you are your own bank and every transaction made is secure and fast unlike banks where you are a pray to thief and hackers and at any time they could just take away your money.
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From when you are involved with bitcoin? Had u wondered why you not meet before? on: April 20, 2019, 09:39:53 AM
I can't remember date but I was meet with bitcoin when price was $800 to $900. But I had not bother to use it or buy/hodl it. Mostly time I was use perfect money as online payments received or send. You will laugh if you know why I had not use bitcoin because I laugh when I remember my paste thought.

Once I sold perfect money to my local reseller, they were asked my why you don't use btc. Because btc demand is high on my native country although illegal. My answer was, bitcoin is too volatility that's why I am using perfect money  Grin. To be honest that time I had not enough knowledge about bitcoin. However, when I understand the game of bitcoin then it was already $1600 to $1800. And I didn't late anymore, just convert my all fund (virtual fund) into bitcoin. And I wondered, why I had not meet before with bitcoin.

To be honest lot of people's are avoiding bitcoin just due to lack of proper knowledge same like me.

Intention of this post is, we should share knowledge even on real life about bitcoin as much as possible. So you friends/ neighbor will not regret like me.
I knew about bitcoin back in 2010 when i saw a guy in the news talking about how he is mining bitcoin using his computers, i started looking around and trying to find more about it but i soon gave up as i did not find enough information and enough resources to earn it as there are today, but i regret it so much because after 5 years my friend told me about it and how much it has grown, and i was thinking to myself if i have did not gave up i would have made a lot from it, so i got back into it and learned more and started making my way up, so advice to all who are new to bitcoin don't give up.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Chain a treat to Ethereum? on: April 19, 2019, 09:59:34 PM
Even if binance turns out to be a very good investment and a successful one, it is still not a threat to etehreum because both of them have totally different concepts and different use in different situations, etehreum has smart contracts and binance is for exchanging, but it is a sure thing that binance is very popular and will provide good profit for those who will invest in it, since there is so much support from the community for it.
804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im a full Time Trader on: April 19, 2019, 09:53:12 PM
And I am not making the money. Discussion,. Undecided Kiss Cry Lips sealed Embarrassed Tongue Roll Eyes Huh Cool Shocked Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin Angry Sad Cry
If you are a full time crypto currency trader and you are not making any profit from your trading then something is wrong of which you need to address those problem. But for you get into that, try as much as possible to discover what you are doing that is wrong and try to learn a new method.
It is not just what are you doing wrong, the whole concept of full time trading is wrong, many people think that trading should taking as a 24/7 work looking at the price charts analyzing and deciding what to do next, but the reality it should not be the case because you will be constantly stressed out and in fear of losing moeny, which will affect your decision making, so trading should be taken as something that you do on the side to earn extra money, not something that you do for living
805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pitiful state of the Chinese economy could weigh on Bitcoin on: April 19, 2019, 09:44:05 PM
China has been spreading the news of bitcoin mining ban frequently lately and I don't know whether it is true or not but I think they are just trying to spread a FUD.
Their motive might be that people dump bitcoin but I don't think that will happen since people have been over this already.
Even if China bans bitcoin mining it will create a temporary effect on bitcoin's price but then things will get settled up as bitcoin recovers the price.
New miners might then join the pool and if not then the older ones will be more benefitial as they will be getting more rewards.
As always with all news like this it has not been taking into affect or confirmed yet, since for years now Chinese bitcoiners and people involved with crypto have invested money time and time into machines and mining rigs and relied on it to provide income for them, it would not only hurt them but it will also have an effect on the economy as well since it has made its roots in its economical base, and this might not take place immediately but this will end up effect bitcoin over all so i don't think it will go through.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: The Great View of History on: April 19, 2019, 09:23:07 PM
Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency will never be able to replace fiat, because if there is governments there will always be fiat and banks, and people should realize that, there are so many things in the world that coexist so why can't we agree on the fact that bitcoin and fiat can both exist and be relevant with one canceling the other, all of us want to be able to use our bitcoin freely at any time and at any place because we believe it is a good and secure transaction system, and others don't see it so they can stick to their fiat and we all live in peace.
807  Economy / Economics / Re: Barclays: ‘Facebook Coin’ to bring in $19 billion by 2021 on: April 19, 2019, 09:02:28 PM
A Barclays analyst said that Facebook’s digital coin would provide the social network platform a “lifeline” if investments stop flowing in.

Full article here: https://www.unblock.news/news/barclays-facebook-coin-to-bring-in-19-billion-by-2021
I simply think its dumb that facebook is creating a cryptocurrency,  and it is even more dumb that people are supporting it, it is just an attempt to make more money than they make now, the concept of making facebook a market place where people use the facebook coin to buy things is not good, like who buys things from people posting on facebook no one, however it will be and it is an interesting example ot see how will a well established company  getting into cryptocurrency will affect the whole market, will it other companies do the same or will it die, only time will tell.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India declines Bitcoin Legalization Again on: April 19, 2019, 08:28:06 PM
Do you think Bitcoin being legalized will still happen for Indians?

you must ask yourself

Why does not the government of India legalize bitcoin? Is it because the government of India thinks bitcoin will be used to commit crimes? how many crimes were committed in India using bitcoin? What can bitcoin threaten to bring to India?

How many people are there in India, and how many people in India use bitcoin and how many people in India do not like bitcoin? governments have legalized bitcoin if they are pressed by the majority of its people

Crimes can be done with the USD or even INR can be used. Then how they can conclude the Bitcoin is resource used to make the crimes. It is not fantasy to think in those aspects. Believe it I personally know 5 and more traders who deals in INR as well in multiple currencies at LBC, Kraken and etc.

How come the government declines the bitcoin without doing proper research about it but many developers who are working in ICO are mostly Indians.
It seems my friend you have never heard of the deep web or dark net, so let me educate you on them, there are sites and online shops that you can only access and buy from them through bitcoin, these sites sell all kinds of illegal stuff, drugs guns stolen cards, anything that your illegal fantasy can think about and this has been one of the many reasons why government are rejecting the though of using bitcoin as a legal payment method, because they are afraid that it will enhance the already going on illegal transactions that are made through the deep web de to the anonymity that bitcoin provides.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: April 19, 2019, 07:35:44 PM
hey all... it's exactly one year now when market started downward movement due to which many bounty/ico companies were not able to list their token to any exchange. Some even did not bothered to send bounty reward token to bounty participants. I have more then 40 tokens that are not listed to any exchange. This situation forced many participants to stop working on bounty campaigns and find some other way to earn from crypto. What was the last bounty that paid you token and that tokens were listed on good exachange and you were able to earn 1-2 ETH / 0.1 to 0.2 BTC or any small amount.

I personally only participate in bounties where they pay me in btc, and not in their own token at least not if they are not listed on exchange, because the problem with those one they pay you with their token, they pay 10$ worth of token at the time but by the time it hits exchange it loses its value and you don't get nothing from them, there are some exceptions where the token get higher and than you profit from it, but generally you don't get that much since they don't go very high.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC requirements on BitcoinTalk Bounty Campaigns Become Worst! on: April 19, 2019, 07:20:40 PM
Lately i'm just inspect most of the active Bounties in the forum and i even try visit those KYC requiring Campaigns i was find out that some of the campaigns are not accepting national ID's and requiring too much in order to recieve tokens I think its rude and too much what do you think?
I honestly think that KYC is overused and should only be tied to token purchase, because right there is where the problem comes from because people would use their coin or token to buy a huge amount of it to do some money laundering that is why the KYC was created and implemented into these ICOs and not  to be used in the bounty campaigns, if they want to limit how much one could earn from their campaign or to counter the abuse of it they should just require the participants to be bitcointalk users with high ranks.
811  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Hits 400 Million Transactions on: April 19, 2019, 07:11:30 PM
This comes to no surprise since bitcoin has risen up over the past 10 years, especially  in the past 2 to 3 years where its price has risen significantly due to many companies starting to adopt it as a payment method, i am pretty sure that transaction reached a high in 2017 due to the price increase and if we see another one like that  i am sure that it will lead to bitcoin having more and more transaction and will eventually lead to mass adaptation, and all of this due to the strong and supporting community that it has, and if other currencies had the same support they will succeed as well.
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 19, 2019, 06:55:52 PM
Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

Waiting for your replies Smiley
Lugdunex
So what i hate the most about probably many exchange sites, is the cheer amount of information that they have in your face as so as you open the page, people get really overwhelmed by charts and numbers and unnecessary list of coins, for an experienced person this is already something that they are used to but for someone who is new this is overwhelming and makes it look very complicated, so make it minimalist and let the user decide which coin he want to see its chart and price.
813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies that has interest in trading! on: April 19, 2019, 06:48:32 PM
Thanks OP for the sites you just shared, I believe it’s not only for newbies, also for those who are already in the trade and would need to also freshen their memory, or those that has been out of trade for a while and would need to return back to trading.

All newbies in trading should really take their time to get enough training and become skillful before entering into trade, they can only come up with a strategy if they are well educated and informed about what the trading is all about, coupled with enough practices that they need to do too. If they don’t get enough trading and rush into trading without strategy, they will have no other way but to lose their trades.
I agree, a lot of newbies just get greedy and get blinded by the amount that other people get from trading thinking that it is easy and they jump in without any experience or understanding for the market, so it is good to give them a and through showing them the ropes and giving them ways and tutorials to learn before putting their money to risk, and also in the trading market it is a constant learning because you are never experienced enough with the market because it is always changing and there are a lot of variables tied to it, so thanks for the links op, these are pretty usefully.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 19, 2019, 06:26:45 PM
The hyped in 2017 cause bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies to surged toward the end of the year and complete crashed back to the bottom in December 2018. Did people really know what they are investing in?  Is a question that keeps ringing in my mind and actually the answer to that question is that people follow the hype and forgot to  checked for reality before investing and this come from the testimony of those that has claim of making big profits or gain from the past surge that came into the cryptocurrencies market.
I think the red flag there is that people think of what they are going to get from their investments into cryptocurrencies more than the capital they have invested and as results when the reality done on them,  they began to sell out of panic and in turn the market clash like it happens through 2018.
Now that we have another opportunity to invest because of the down turned,  I do believe that it is good you look at the reality behind any coin you want to invest in and not the FUD,  manipulations,  FOMO and hype behind those coins.
So, people who are loyal to bitcoin have invested in it back when it was worth less than a dollar, and they kept true to that and they did so because they support it not to get massive profit, and those who invested in it only when it reached 19k back in 2017 are just in it for the money and now they cry because it went down, this market is not for them because it requires patience and nerves of steal to be rewarded and those who supported over the year were able to get it. and this goes the same for the other crypto currencies, if you invest in one of them you have to truly believe in it and keep supporting even through the loss to be able to get profit.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 19, 2019, 05:51:24 PM
Is it going to start with poor countries and their dictators?
Is it going to start in the USA with their SEC and ETF and everything?
Discuss.
I think that adaptation will start not from the USA but the other developed countries, i mean there were news about allowing people to pay taxes with bitcoin in Canada and in Germany and many European countries bitcoin has become accepted, it is not widely accepted but it is slowly making its way into every shop big or small as a payment system, and also the same is happening in many Asian countries like Japan and South Korea, and in time bitcoin and crypto will become a strong part in our economic system, and with those accepting it surely the others countries will follow them as well.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic and social impacts of BTC - Research ideas on: April 19, 2019, 05:21:52 PM
Hi there BTC community,

This is my first post here.
I'm a part-time researcher who's seeking for some guidance from the BTC community about research(able) topics.
My scientific interests are in a trans-disciplinary area: the social, political and economical impacts of technology in our society.
Therefore, cryptocurrencies, decentralization and fintech are some of the hot topics in my mind right now.
Especially, the impact BTC can have in the future of transparency, corruption, dismantle of status quo, democratic systems, etc.

So, in your opinion, what are the major potential changes BTC will operate in our societies in the next 10 to 20 years?
Which are the the impacts you see as worthy of being scientifically researched?

Thank you in advance for any input you might have to give me.
Well obviously everyone is gonna tell you that they think that bitcoin is going to become the main currency and all of that fiction, i personally think  that government will not allow such things, because with bitcoin becoming relevant it will make fiat irrelevant because it makes transaction anonymous and hard to track, economically and socially speaking i think that the private sector will have an increased percentage of bitcoin adoption as we see many and many more people getting into it and if the bitcoin can reach or surpass the same price point that it was able to get to in 2017, and maintain it it make it more popular and we probably like 40% of the people getting into it.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: April 19, 2019, 04:32:48 PM
These are all great news and it will help the market grow in terms of its inner value and price, and it is great to keep the positivity and all but we can not ignore the fact that there are also bad news that are also  bringing down the adaptation, for example like china banning bitcoin mining, this may seem that it had no effect on the market right now, but who knows what may happen when it actually takes place, i am not trying to be negative but it is good to be ready for anything, and not get ahead of ourselves.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Crime in cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2019, 04:14:49 PM
We've heard exchange getting hacked and millions of dollar worth crypto being stolen.
Last year, Myetherwallet was exposed and hacker penetrated and stole alot.
Scam ICO made away with millions in recent years.
Crypto traders and investors are taking precautions so as to not fall victim. This doesn't guarantee Scam free Crypto space coz right now someone is being scam.

What could be the biggest Crime in cryptocurrency
The biggest crypto crime and the on that i think has changed the course of any investment on the internet is the ponzi scheme made by one coin site where they have walked away with more than 667 million dollar, onecoin claimed to be the bitcoin killer, that many people believed it and they invested their money their saving only to wake one day and find out they have have been scammed, to this day the founder is still on the run and the case is still not solved, with the one coin scam everyone lost their trust in these types of companies and projects.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC 2020 planning on: April 19, 2019, 03:57:11 PM
In 19's we buy things from USD
Will in 2020 we'll buy the thing from BTC
Staring planning to buy everything from only BTC
Gonna say bye to money...  Grin
Well you can already buy anything with bitcoin right now, you can find many places that sell goods for bitcoin directly or you can use bitcoin indirectly to buy things from amazon or other popular sites, or just use bitcoin debit cards, the problem is they are not as popular or as out there as the fiat ones, we want to use bitcoin in our daily lives but because we are part of the society which relies on fiat and banks we can't always do that, we have to pay our taxes with fiat we have to buy from the supermarket with fiat, there is no escaping that, and the only way we could replace that is if bitcoin gets implemented as a global payment method, and for that to happen we have to be a be a voice that can be heard so that they will notice that we who use bitcoin are not a small dying percentage of the world the community has to rise up.
820  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with cheapest fee? on: April 17, 2019, 08:55:58 AM
Where should I buy my bitcoin with cheapest fee possible?  Huh

Thank you.

Prefer to trade on purchase on a platform.
Don't think about it where to bu bitcoin with the least amount of fee, think about it where to buy bitcoin with the most secure way, people really try so hard saving up a dollar or too and they end up being scammed because of it so they go on these shady websites and the get scammed and than they start complaining about it, my advice for you don't risk your money and go around looking for a way to buy with less fee, just go and buy from coinbase or any other trusted websites, they difference in the fees is not that high to be taken in consideration.
