401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell My Portfolio for 75% of a Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2021, 10:42:29 PM
My portfolio has become quite extensive, in my opinion.

I am in about 10 different cryptocurrencies, all that aim to provide a lot of real world value.

I was looking at my portfolio this morning and realized I have enough to convert all of my coins and have 0.75 of a full Bitcoin. It has always been a dream of mine to own a full Bitcoin. Right as of now I only have about 20% (0.20) of a Bitcoin.

I know that Bitcoin will always be THE store of value, but I think it would not be wise to miss out on the other innovations the cryptocurrency space has to offer.

Let me know what you guys think.
I think you should do what you belive in because that is all what investing in cryptocurrency is at the end you support the currencies that offer a certain solution and bring somthing new, of course bitcoin is always going to be the king of these curencies, so what i suggest you do is to go through the 10 that you have invested in see where they are now and see where they are heading if they are going in the direction that you believe that is going to lead to future profit that keep them otherwise you just better off investing in bitcoin.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin as safe as its believers say? on: June 09, 2021, 10:20:47 PM
The private keys that were taken by the Department of Justice were taken from the guy's hard disk and he was using coinbase, so that goes to show you how naive some poeple can be, if you are doing something illeagal you probably should be more carfull where you put your money and how to secure it, peopel are making such a thing out of this and blaming bitcoin and thinking that blockchain can be hacked and intercepted by goivernmmnet agencies when its literly the guy who owns the key's fault for not securing it.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Signals in crypto on: June 09, 2021, 10:10:39 PM
Hello, Im preety new on forum, I posted 99% on my local forum, but now I want also post on international forum.

Im intrested in trading in crypto, cause mining crypto in this days is not profitable. I Want to know how I can recognize right coin, expect BTC, and ETH, how I can recognize some other good coins? How I can recognize when is the right time for buyng and sellig crypto to make most of trades profitable? Is it possible some how exploting some coin and be sure this coin can make 10x, 20, 50x,... in next months?

Sorry if Im spell something wrong cause my English is not best.
The cryptocurrency market is highly volitiale and you cannot really predict when a coin is gonna jump up in price, i mean technicly you could like what happend with DOGE coin whne elon musk joked about it on Tv it jumped in price by like more than 100 times, but for the people who didn't invest in it early, but the point is you can relay on major news like this one to predict high price chnages in some certain coins, but these things only happen so often and there is no telling to dgree it will affect the price, so what you realy should do is trade the coins that you belive in, and relay on the indicators .
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To diversify or not to diversify... on: June 09, 2021, 10:00:45 PM
So my wife and I started buying bitcoin a couple of months ago, and as of right now we're the proud owners of 0.4 of a bitcoin.

Since everything is so cheap right now, I want to invest some more of our savings before things pick up again.

Should we just be focusing on BTC, or would we be better off diversifying (maybe Etherium?).

We got into crypto in order to help us own a house and be able to be semi-retired within the next 10 years, if that helps.
I would highly suggest that you wait and see, so for bitcoin i am sure that the investment that you made will defeintly pay off in the future and by the future maybe in a few months or so you capital will be doubled, so i think you should just focus on bitcoin since it is currenty hot and will most likely to net you short and long  term investment, as for the etehreum and the other cryptocurrency i think they will most likely fall beheind and even if the pioint of diversifying is to protect you from drops it won't be as good as bitcoin.
405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can any one suggest best indicator for trading? on: June 09, 2021, 09:21:12 PM
Guys i am new to trading. Can any one suggest best trading indicator for free? Also any other trading tip for beginers
I strongley suggest that you really don't trust any indicators especially the free ones they can really be missleading and cause you a lot of loss if you follow them aimiessly, i have tried a bunch of them and they didn't lead me anywhere, i recommed that you stick with the old ways and just educate yourself about the trading ways and try to find to make a demo account on any broker that offer you virtual money to test strategies and your ideas before using real money.
406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price action trading on: June 09, 2021, 09:11:55 PM
I hear traders say price action is the best form of predicting the future trend of the market. Most traders claim it takes adcantage of previous events that has happened in the past to accurate decide the movement of the new trend. Although it is not traded in isolation because other strategy like candle stick pattern and area of value needs to considered before placing an entry.

Could past event decide how the market would move?
With the innovations and change in societal norms, climatic and environmental factors putting all this into considerations is there any certainty that past trends would repeat itself or is this just an assumption?

As a new trader I have been exposed to several knowledge about how to study and analyze market present and future trends but am only asking for clearity. Does market obey all this rules laid down by trading experts to help time their entries or could this be an advanced gambling that has a prepared strategy which is not 100% guarantee for profit taking?

I know many people who understand how the market works make profit from their predictions but I still want to understand if it was by chance or does the market really obey price action and is it truly the best strategy in timing entries.

No one realy understands how the market really works or can 100% be sure that past trends will repeat themselves in the future, all of these strategies that are created and tested are what makes the difference between somone playing poker for fun with no strategy and the ones that play it right, but in the end it is all a gamble and it is up to you how to play it, you use strategies to minimize your losses or just go all in and lose it all.
407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 09, 2021, 09:05:55 PM
Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you want to spend it / invest it / transform it in fiat but you do not want the BTC to be traced to exchanges or to you, how would you do it ?

It's not for me, it's to further my understanding of the space.
Well the only way that i can think of, that wouldn't net you a huge amount of loss in fees by making multipule transactions, i would say is to use sites that have a high amount of traffic/ transactions with large amounts of money/btc for exemple you could deposit in an exchnage and than withdraw it, you could deposit into a gambling site and than withdraw, these are just few exemple of the ones that get a large numbers and amounts of deposits so that your transaction would not be traced.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: June 09, 2021, 07:38:57 PM
I feel like people are taking his words like its the absolute truth, litertly people started buying DOGE just because he spoke about in a sarcastic scripted  TV show, i don't wanna get into this conspiracy theory thing, but it is really od that he actully made an investment in bitcoin and than pulled out because of the mining causing enviormnetal problems, whihc targets china who is considered to have most of the mining power and soon after the news of china taking some hards mesures on bitcoin mining he comes up and tweets about it again.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: Human productivity on: June 09, 2021, 07:10:21 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is and will be the replacment for the physical currencies in a world where everything is being digitilized, but if we are talking about microtransactions bitcoin mining fees and transaction time becomes an issue if we want the avrage joe to go to the store and buy his groceries with bitcoin he should be able to and not have to pay double the value of it in fees, and to me that is the road block that is keeping bitcoin from reaching that point.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to start a crypto project, gimme advice on: June 09, 2021, 06:39:48 PM
So I have an idea, I identified the problem and the solution, I have the prototype, I'm working on the MVP.
I roughly know some of my potential clients.

What I don't have:
1. Team - suggest places where I could recruit people. I tried job boards, but I only got a ton application from newbies, when I need someone serious who will work for me for free, initially.
2. Money - where do you look for investors in crypto projects?
3. Followers - what stage is the right moment to start promoting a project?

Give me advice. (This is serious btw.)
First of all your second and third  priorities should be reversed, you should seek followers and than look for investors and money, as for a team you need to find like minded people who are willing to help you in your project, the way i did it is i had a couple of friends that i proposed the general idea of the project and they helped me out, even with a small team of three poeple you can do and the skills you don't have you can learn, and for the followers and money there are a lot of startup websites where you can post your idea and share it with the world and whoever is intressted in it can donate.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin As a Payment Method Against Other Payment Network on: June 09, 2021, 06:24:59 PM
The only probelm that i have with bitcoin as a payment method are the payments, when the bitcoin raises in price we see the mining fees go through the roof, how do you excpect someone who wants to use bitcoin to pay for a 10 dollar item on the internet and has to pay 50% of that in fees in order to get his transaction done, now don't get me wrong bitcoin works for transactions with large amounts but for the day to day shoping and transacting it is still has a fundmental issue that needs to be addressed.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Year From Now: 5-10 Countries Accepting BTC As A Legal Tender on: June 09, 2021, 05:57:15 PM
All the poeple who hold power over the decision making in many countries and many big companies are old and don't have visions, and the only poeple that they listen to when it comes to investment are their lawyers brokers and their bankers, all of which their position are threatend by the success and rise of the bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and for young people who have a bit of power and have vision for the future they are the ones leading the race in investing in it, so with no doubt in mind that as times goes on the stubborn that still believes in the old ways will fall behined and young visionary poeple will take their place and than bitcoin and cryptocurency will surely raise.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a rational real Person I dont see btc success on: June 09, 2021, 05:42:34 PM
what is the definition of success, it is eaither reaching a certian goal or doing your best to do so, it can also be defiend as believing in somthing and defending it, and to many poeple bitcoin represents some of those ideas and in many cases it has acheived thier definition of success or yet they still beleive it will, and that is beauty of bitcoin it has many aspects and many points that unites a lot of people under one thing, whether its long term investment or short terms you get profit, or maybe you want to support the idea of non centerlized currency controlled by the govermment, bitcoin has all of those, and if you fail to see it than maybe in time you will.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: June 09, 2021, 05:21:54 PM
What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025?
Bitcoin is the most advanced virtual reality that has become the most popular around the world.
Although this bitcoin is banned in some countries, most countries in the world have licenses to buy and sell bitcoin.
Countries where bitcoin transactions take place are being recognized as superior countries.
So I think all the countries that have been banned, those countries, if the ban on bitcoin or virtual coins is lifted, then those countries will move forward.
That is why the value of Bitcoin will go out even more.
The advantage of Bitcoin is -
Big companies can transact with Bitcoin very easily and securely. It will also increase their time and will be safe.
For this reason, the transactions of Bitcoin will increase a lot by 2025.
Bitcoin is already being traded all in world, maybe you mean widely adopted as a currency, in that case it is diffficut beacause the world is ruled by the rich and the big companies that decide wether a currency drops or rises, and for them bitcoin is a decentrelized and hard to control its price because it is not owned by one entity, and alos because they just arrived to the party a bit late where they can't hold over the majoprity of it, but there are a few ones that have started to see its potential and started to invest in it, so for bitcoin to become a major currency maybe, will it become the number one investment that is for sure.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global adoption — A ridiculous term on: June 08, 2021, 10:33:34 PM
I think that global adoptation and mainstream use of the bitcoin as a day to day currency is hard to achieve, and that is due to the fact of  it being decentrelized and uncontroled meaing that the price will always be constantly changing at any time, so a guy who owns a shop could sell a product that is worth 10$ and the next week finds himself with only 5$, for somone who is earning more than enough and wants to invest in bitcoin he could start accepting as a apyment method in his business but from somone who his trying to make a living it would hard, at least this early.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Don't Want To Hear Anybody Crying When BTC Will Reach 1M Per Coin! on: June 08, 2021, 09:09:13 PM
Investing in anything always has its risk and that does not just include bitcoin, poeple always want to get the biggest profit while having the less risk which is somthing that does not exisits in this world, and most of the pople that cry about btc don't have the guts to invest in it when its down or they want immidiate profit after a short period of time, bitcoin is a long term investment and it is only for the poeple who can afford to invest and wait.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was invited by a group of young students from India to educate them about BTC on: June 08, 2021, 05:15:16 PM
I think that with the raise in popularity of the cryptocurrency a lot of companies and individuals are trying to know more about it and learn how the blockchain technologie works, because bitcoin is just an exemple of the potential of what this technolgie can achieve and a lot of more project apart from cryptocurrency have gotten a lot of success and they are solving a lot of real world problems, and i really think with this day and age where everything is digital it is the solution to our probelms, and i really salute you from educating poeple about it and playing a big part in spreading the wword about it.
418  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining on: June 06, 2021, 06:42:02 PM
Bitcoin cloud mining is a well known scam that is old as bitcoin itself, and i am sorry to say that you lost your money because there is no real investment that could net you 10000% percent in profit  just seven days, it is a commen mistake that new poeple to crypto fall into, if you made some reasearch beforehand you would have known what you were going into, if you are intressted in bitcoin ming you should invest your money into buying a mining rig and not invest it in online mining sites that claim to give huge profit.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 04, 2021, 03:26:56 PM
in my opinion the rate at which the bitcoin price went to 65k is as sudden and it was built on shaky ground and that is why it droped so quickly, i really rather see the price going up real slow rather thn these sudden jumps in prices, but it is good that it droped because it will allow for more people who  have intrest in investing in it to actual do so especialy if they know that they can make so good profit from holding it long term, and also i feel like the price drop actually helps bitcoin stays somewhat under the radar.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: June 02, 2021, 09:05:21 PM
If you look at how the value of fiat changed over time, you would see that it started by it being a replacemnt for gold to make transactions much more easier so it got its value from that and worked for a while until governemnt just decided that thye can just print more and decied the value as they whish just because they can and have the power to, and that where bitcoin and other crypto came here to change, they are currencies that get their value from the poeple they use it and its value will only increase over time.
