621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin on: June 21, 2019, 09:59:51 AM
Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin
Mostly no, if Libra would be a stablecoin meaning that it will be anti volatile, so its value will not likely to be changing that much, so it will be similar to fiat so there is no margin of prices, so you won't be able to buy at a low price and than wait for the price to go up and sell to collect profit like it is the case with bitcoin, so i  don't think that it will be a trade friendly coin, i think that Libra will only have a more easier access than bitcoin and it will be like an introduction rather than a base for people who don't know about crypto and not trading.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: June 21, 2019, 09:35:19 AM
Things that damage the economy indirectly.

For example I feel that fast food and an unhealthy lifestyle leads chronic health problems that probably affects the economy not just monetarily.

Of course we can't just deny these people care, just promote a healthier lifestyle.

What are other things that we can change that will affect the economy in a positive way?
For me probably the one thing that is leading to unhealthy lifestyle is the excessive use of internet, i am not talking about spending hours and hours in front of our screens wasting time, no i am talking about the the way we have became dependent on it, we no longer have to go to the shop and look for our things to buy in the store we just order them with a click of a button, we no longer have to go to the restaurant and wait for our food and wait in line we just order it and it comes to us, all of these changes may have improved and made our lives easier but it also promotes a lazy lifestyle which can reflect on other sides of our lives and on our economy.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa needs bitcoin, not a charity on: June 20, 2019, 10:37:39 PM
I think a possibility of crypto would ease the life of many africans, this privelege would give a great benefit for them, not talking about the development

The article: https://www.cio.co.ke/africa-needs-bitcoin-not-charity/
So the thing is most people in Africa are struggling to be able to provide food and homes, let alone to have internet access, and let alone knowing about bitcoin and how to use it, the situation of most people there are bad and people here talk about they need bitcoin and not charity, they are really unaware of what people need and they are downsizing the situation, i get it maybe the minority and the educated people of the country would use bitcoin to provide thing for the poor majority, but for that to happen they would need to put in more investment and money than they would by building a school and teach kids so they grow up and fix the the situation in the country.
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks to consider before trading? on: June 20, 2019, 07:04:44 PM
Any other risks that I should be aware of before fully immersingm yself into trading crypto?

https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/top-5-risks-to-consider-before-beginning-your-trading-career/

Let me know please, want to get as much help as possible!

Knowing the risks is not the only thing that you have to keep in mind before jumping into trading crypto, you have to be aware of how the process of trading goes and when and how you should approach it, new traders lack experience and to get that experience you are bound to lose trades and so money, which is one of the risks  that you should consider and you should also consider not giving up if you lose you just have to keep on going and eventually it will pay off.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Libra might be good for Bitcoins on: June 20, 2019, 06:33:52 PM
Hello everyone I think the hottest topic nowadays is the Facebook new coin *Libra*.
We all know that it is going to serve as a major competition for Bitcoins, bigger than anyone in the market yet, now what about the good effects ? Let's look into them.

In 2018 there were 2.38 billion active users of Facebook , what does that mean , why is it important ?
Simple :- people trust Facebook, they have been here since years and therefore the scope is unlimited.

Now since they are releasing Libra , that is a cryptocurrency people will stop looking wide eyed on Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and since it's not evidently getting launched just tomorrow we have all the time in the world to welcome those 2.38 billion into the *maybe they will be using Bitcoins* world.

This way we have both increased our scope and at the same time it has enhanced and strengthen the market .
The facebook cryptocurrency that is being made; might not be the hero we want but it is going to be the hero we need, as you said the number of users that Facebook have across all of their platforms is huge and assuming that a portion of those get interested in this new coin and that might open their eyes on the others and on top of them the Bitcoin, and if their coin actually does good and proves to be a good profit, other major companies will start following and we will the the rise of crypto.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Origins? on: June 16, 2019, 12:36:16 AM
So here i am, going to spew out some Theory..

I have been in the CryptoCurrency market since 2012 and since then i have always asked my self who is behind this Charade, and after a few interviews and talks about BTC nobody ever knew, ofcourse they said Satoshi Nakamoto but who or what is that? What is his real purpose because financial freedom can not be it ! So after years of digging i came to the conclusion that behind the creation of BTC is the World Bank. An certain individual in the WB had gotten an idea, an idea that is sure to come to fruition as humanity is programmed to overreach. And with the help of few of his buddies in the WB and a few unaware programmers he was set for success, they have been posting for a while then just dissapeared, that figures as there were people right behind their footprints.. About who they are who created the first Crypto Currency and how do they stop it.. Ofcourse nobody was aware it is the WB Doing it and they want it to stay that way untill the end. So even today we have no certain proof of that and this is just a THEORY. But who can clean up their footprints better than the WB ? Nobody else.. there are individuals out there but would not dare to risk their whole life for this. It has been done by someone who knew he can not be found and that is the most powerfull organization on this planet - The World Bank ??
When people start talking about the unknown and start speculating on stories and theories the sky is the limit to what we can come up with, i respect you opinion but it really does not matter who or what satoshi is, whether he is a guy from the WB or he is a just a genius who really wanted to make a change in the world, it only matters that we have this thing that is bitcoin that already brought people together and gives them a sense of freedom and power, and most importantly gave us hope and whether we want to take it and actually make something good with it and change the world it all depends on us to decide.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Begins to Be Used in the Football Industry on: June 16, 2019, 12:24:26 AM
It is SL Benfica, a Portuguese soccer giant who has decided to accept payments using bitcoin (BTC) in each transaction. In addition to BTC, fans can buy tickets, t-shirts, and all club accessories using special tokens named Ether (ETH) or UTK. The historic decision was announced by Benfica through the club's official website some time ago.
To help realize this plan, Benfica has partnered with a company called Utrust which later acted as a money changer and was tasked with exchanging crypto money from fans to conventional money instantly. Thus, it is expected that the club can mitigate the potential for price reductions that could occur due to the relatively high volatility of the crypto exchange rate in the spot market.
This is some promising news and it could actually lead to some new ways for crypto adaptation where companies could partner up with exchanges to provide more access and allow people who are interested in using their crypto to buy all kind of stuff, lately it seems there have been some really good news concerning bitcoin adoption and i hope that this keeps going and in no time at all we will be able to use our coins anywhere and everywhere.
628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite trading style? on: June 16, 2019, 12:02:22 AM
I personally a fond of day trading as it provides a consistent stream of profit and it might require more paying attention to the price charts and it keeps you on the edge, but when you make a successful trade it is so satisfying to get it, and also there is no risque of overnight money lose, however every market has its own best way of trading since some of them don't change that much and others like bitcoin are volatile and their price is constantly changing.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: June 15, 2019, 11:52:58 PM
The world is constantly progressing and technologies and ways that we once never expected to work and people use are now essential part of our lives, like for example credit cards it was only something used by few people and businesses mans now it is in every person's wallet and they use it to buy everything, and today most people use the internet for basically everything they buy food cloths and even use transport through apps and digital money they no longer need to use physical money, i understand that in some areas  where internet does not exist this seems that is not going to happen for a while but with Elon musk and mark zuckerbrug sending satellite to provide internet all over the world this will change and everything will start moving towards digitization, just give it 10 more years and you will see.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's hard to get profit in crypto trading. on: June 15, 2019, 11:07:49 PM
This week it seems difficult to benefit from trading ETH and LTC, even I only get no more than $ 40 this week. Let's discuss and share a reasonable strategy. Or a suggestion to buy your preferred altcoin. Thank you all.
Trading requires patience and dedication especially these days since the market is not as promising and as productive as it was a year a or tow ago, usally the market moves and goes up when bitcoin goes up as well so if you really want to make some profit from trading both etherium and litecoin you might wanna keep a close eye on what is happening  with bitcoin market even if you are not able to trade in it, you just have to have some faith and trust in the coins that you are trading and always do your research.
631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Trader Committed Suicide ( lesson for all crypto traders ) on: June 15, 2019, 10:49:43 PM
This is a clear example what greed could do to you and how much you should think twice before you intend to make a trade, and always risk what you can actually afford to lose, i really think that this guy is just faking his death and not actually dead, obviously he is just faking it in order to escape whoever he got the money from in order to not pay them back, and he might actually commuted suicide, no one knows, but the important thing is suicide is never the answer, so don't put yourself in such a situation and always learn from other people's mistakes.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 15, 2019, 10:13:09 PM
I started to think about it. How a bank and folks could issue loans to people?

Currently, when you need to borrow money, your banker just edits your balance account and create money magically. You then pay back monthly.
Banks won't be able to do that with Bitcoin with its limited supply. You can't print bitcoins.

But now, between folks. Let's say I'm the banker and you're the customer looking to borrow money to buy a house. I can lend you the money but how to be sure you will pay me back with full interests? With banks, the solution is easy, the bank seizes the house and you can't do something. But the average Joe hasn't the same 'power' than a bank to collect a debt.
With bank systems when you are given a loan you are obligated to pay it back with interest, because in real life they have all your info and details and they can pursuit by law and police if you don't pay it back in time, but with bitcoin it is different, first you have the price of bitcoin constantly chagrining which means paying the loan back will vary depending on the price, and also bitcoin is supposed to be anonymous so there should be no personal details that would be given, details like where you live, and if someone does not pay you back you can't do anything about since bitcoin is not regulated by the law and government has no power over it, however there has been a p2p landing site a couple of year ago called BTCjam where people post their projects and how much they need and people will give them btc and they expect interest in return, but i shut down a while ago fir unknown reason.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is limited supply money such as Bitcoin better than the ... on: June 15, 2019, 10:04:30 PM
Is limited supply money such as Bitcoin better over the current forms of money?

For they can be printed out more (EURO, USD etc currency) and gold can be found all over the universe.
Technically all the other paper currencies like EURO, USD should be limited as well in order to preserve their value, but due to economical problems some countries tend to print more which leads to inflation which means their currency loses some of its value such is the case of countries like Zimbabwe and currently Argentina and that is all because they have the possibility and the power to print it, but with the bitcoin there is no such thing as creating more bitcoin we can't do that the network already has a limited supply that can't be copied or changed and that is what makes bitcoin special and that what makes its price always going up.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Investing In AltCoin Still Worth it in 2019? on: June 15, 2019, 09:39:10 PM
The crypto market has been flooded with so many shit coins over past 2 years that it has become hard to distinguish the true ones that are actually good to invest in and the ones that are scams, people including me have tried over and over to invest in some good altcoins to only be disappointed by the false promises that their does gives us just to get our money, and for that i have lost faith  in the altcoin market, but i am not saying that it is not worth investing in giving if you really know what you are doing and pick the right coins to invest in.
635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the ideal time to buy Bitcoin? What do you think? on: June 15, 2019, 09:22:53 PM
Hello, I´m new in this Forum, but I´m studying and investing in BTC a few months. Now, the price of btc is 8,655 and I have doubts if I buy or wait. what would you do in this situation? Is it better to buy or wait?

BTC Smiley Huh

I would say that you should just wait a little, with the upcoming halving in 2020 the price of bitcoin is bound to rise that is due to the number or the amount of the bitcoin that will available, and that mean that it is the best time to hold and watch the price and the profit rise up, so before that happens you need to take the opportunity to stack up on bitcoin so you better start doing it while the price are still down, so i say as soon as you see the price going up you should buy, so keep you eye peeled on the price.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: INDIA: Draft Law Proposes 10-year Jail Term for Dealing in Cryptocurrency on: June 15, 2019, 09:17:45 PM
Besides making it completely illegal, the bill makes holding of cryptos a non-bailable offence.

Holding, selling or dealing in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin could soon land you in jail for 10 years.

The "Banning of Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill 2019" draft has proposed 10-year prison sentence for persons who "mine, generate, hold, sell, transfer, dispose, issue or deal in cryptocurrencies.

Besides making it completely illegal, the bill makes holding of cryptos a non-bailable offence.

A cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography for security and is generally based on blockchain technology, a distributed ledger enforced by a disparate network of computers. Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency in the world.

Given the high chances of cryptocurrencies being misused for money laundering, various government bodies such as the Income Tax Department and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) had endorsed banning of cryptocurrencies.

The draft bill for banning cryptocurrency has been in the works for some time with Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg leading the exercise.

While strict law would soon be in place to deal with people indulging in trade of cryptocurrency, India is likely to have its own digital currency.

Quote
"A decision on the launch of Digital Rupee would be taken after consulting the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)"
said an official.

How do you Indian folks deal with this?
Draft Law Proposes 10-year Jail Term for Dealing in Cryptocurrency

As you said this is a draft law, so nothing is official and i personally think that there is no way that the government will allow to sentence people to 10 years of jail for such so small act, the sentence is higher than caught a person with position of drugs, however if this gets approved it will not be just bad for the people who are living in there and use crypto but it will show how much the government is dictating people and what they do with their lives and their money.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are down when BTC up, altcoins again down Even if BTC down. Why? on: June 15, 2019, 08:57:14 PM
Altcoins are down when BTC up, altcoins again down Even if BTC down. Why?
You can't excpect all the other altcoins to get up and the whole market getting some movement, as soon as bitcoin starts going up, at least not in recent couple of rises since they were not a good as the price kept going up and down randomly, you gotta give it some time so that investors and people who are interested in investing in the crypto are assured that the market is recovering, and that is by looking at the price of bitcoin and seeing a good solid rise.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Video game giant Ubisoft exploring blockchain potential to implement in structur on: June 15, 2019, 08:02:29 PM
To be honest, I did not notice the widespread use of gambling. Perhaps this is simply due to the fact that this topic and the type of earnings are not interesting to me.Specifically, the introduction of blockchain technology in the gaming industry will have a good effect.Gambling without blockchain technology is very popular. That is, in other words, gambling can do without the use of blockchain technology.
Whether you are a gambler or not, gambling with bitcoin and crypto currency has been one of the original uses of the blockchain technology at least the ones that people are really use on regular basis and since a long time the number of gambling sites has increased by a lot and that shows how much interest people are showing in it, and now if a gaming company like Ubisot is trying to use this technology in its own new way and succeed in that it will show how much this  technology has potential, and more companies will dive into it.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL BOUNITES AND NEW PROJECTS EVER STOP? on: June 15, 2019, 06:52:05 PM
The answer is capital NO. YES,BIG NOOOO. As long as the market is willing to accommodate everyone, we  will always get new tokens in the market. bounties will keep on sprawling out from everywhere. back and forth.

Also, as exchange platforms keeps delisting old and garbage products from the market. new ones are likely to emerge and replace them.

just in, bittrex delisted over 40 coins from U.S market.
I totally agree, however this market gets constantly flooded with multiple coins that many of them are just a total waste of money and time, as their developers keep giving false hope and false promises of improving and bring good and new things to the market and yet they either lose motivation because they don't get what they expect or they are just scamming, and all of that leads to people losing trust in these projects and their ICO and the interest in that market starts going down and with it the number of projects, so we might like see 10 ICOs in a couple of months and with time we will see that number decreasing.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading! The good the bad and the ugly on: June 15, 2019, 06:30:51 PM
Am not really new in crpyto world but am always scared of taking the risk of trading.  As an experienced trader what are the advantages and disadvantages of day trading. Please I need your opinion. I really want to know those risk so as to avoid them. Then the possible way to maximize profit.
Day trading is a great way to make some consistent profit especially in the bitcoin market given the fact that it is quite volatile and keeps changing, given if you really know what you are doing, i have tried it in the past and it really gives a consistent profit, but the problem with it is that it is only good for short terms and not long term periods so choosing it over other methods could lead you to missing out on some good profit, that is why in trading you should always try to mix and always try different ways .
