481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: November 20, 2019, 10:26:26 AM
Bitcoin is designed to be more scarce every single day while the population is almost required to increase its demand. Why? Because people will have to sell their failed fiduciary currencies per Bitcoin. The current financial system failed already and people will realize that Bitcoin is the only system to reset everything. Governments will try to create their centralized cryptocurrencies that will fail like the fiat due to hacks and the fact that people will prefer to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a blackhole that is swallowing every single fiat bill. 10 million dollars per coin is probably too conservative. People who dont own Bitcoin now will have to own in it later. Those who are acummulating BTC right now will be the richest people in the world. Bitcoin should hit that price in the next 10 years and there is nothing that could stop it.
It is true that eventually the financial system will collapse and governments would have to rebuild it again, but most of the normal people don't get to do anything about it, sure that they will realize that bitcoin is a good alternative but we live in a world that is controlled by governments, so any interactions between the system and the people that live in the country is all going to be using the currency issued by the government, you can take Zimbabwe and Venezuela for example where the local fiat has gone to the ground and people still use it be cause they don't have a choice.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: November 20, 2019, 09:57:57 AM
Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos. Would more governments do the same because Cryptos threaten the banks or the governments may want more control over what people use as currency and to remove all alternatives? What do you guys think, I personally think it won’t happen, but you might think otherwise.

I mean even if they want to ban it they won't be able to or it is very hard and requires a lot of resources, the way the crypto transactions are made is that you can't tell where the money is going or for what it is used for, therefore governments can't tell if the location of transactions, even if they ip block the cryto sites there is always still place for vpn and other ways to bypass it, so i don't think that there will be a point where they put things into actions if they ban it.
483  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ADVICE - The best place to sell BTC in the UK? on: November 17, 2019, 01:01:38 PM
Hi All

Seems most people use LBC to trade but their prices are always way below the market value on both Buy and Sell.

Can anyone recommend a site or safe way to sell for £ ? that is better than LBC.

I look look for a sub forum for UK but there is not one there??

THanks
I personally think that the best way to sell bitcoin is always the p2p option, form many aspects and from my personal experience it is by far the best and most secure way to sell you bitcon, you just go on on site like localbitcoin you look up people who are living near you that are buying and you select the one who has to best offer you chat with him you arrange a meeting he gives you cash and you just send them the bitcoins on the spot, no escrow no extra fees and no way of getting scammed, plus it is a good way to meet like minded people who are interested in bitcoin as well.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the positive news and those users? on: November 17, 2019, 12:17:44 PM
There is a trend in this forum whenever there is a dump there will be a group of people who will spam the forum with FUD and then there are a set of people post unrealistic things will bitcoin will cross $50k if it pumps by few hundred dollars,  right now I don't see anyone predicting the price. Does it mean people have learnt no one can predict the price or just waiting for right moment again?
Those people are definitely still there, they are still posting here and there some predictions in hope to influence some decisions, but the thing is most of the people here on this forum are well informed and know the truth and how they have no idea what they are talking about and just posting useless prediction, so their posts get rotted it out and they don't show up in the front pages because there are hardly anyone responding to them.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Digital Currency Will Allow Consumers ‘Controllable Anonymity’ on: November 17, 2019, 11:48:24 AM
Well lets be honest anything that is made and controlled by the government, is used to spy on you and control your life, and from all the places in the world china is the known government to do so, they are well know for localizing everything, and i don't think that this is any different, the so called controlled anonymity is just a fancy way to say spying on your transactions, and i don't think that anyone who is using bitcoin or any cryptocurrency that is true to its cause can be fouled by such thing.
486  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: November 17, 2019, 11:21:20 AM
The thing about halving is that is increasing the difficulty of mining, so the supply is decreased the demand still the same and that will eventually lead to an increase of price even if it is just a little, and with idea and people looking forward to it so they can make some profit out of it they start investing and buying more bitcoin and holding, and that also leads to a potential price increase, so even if halving does not add something or change the price significantly it creates an idea for people that push them to invest more and buy more bitcoin so they can make profit from it and that leads to price increase.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not control my bitcoins - Zimbabwe News! on: November 15, 2019, 07:17:08 PM
I feel like the sate at which the Zimbabwe government and the fiat currency there sets and example for people to see how much the system is really messed up, and them creating another currency sand giving it value does not hold any meaning, and people there have already giving up on it and they are using other currencies from other countries to do transactions between them, and i fell like if they all had the resources and the ability to use bitcoin or crypto they would have already done it, but the lack of development there is what is stopping it.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should answer the important questions to increase Bitcoin adoption on: November 15, 2019, 12:04:21 PM
I fell like one of the big issues that bitcoin faces right now is the false idea or the false vision that most people have on it, because of how the y media has always talked bad about it and just relates bitcoin to hacking and the use of it for illegal things, it sets out a bad idea for especial for the ones that don't really know much about it, and that really needs to change and we need to be out there clearing this idea and showing what it is truly about , another thing is that most people think that it is complicated to use they don't bother trying to learn it.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One solid reason that I came across for the need of BitCoins. <Be Your own Bank> on: November 15, 2019, 11:14:50 AM
The whole financial and economical system that we are living today is just forced on us by the governments, and if you think about it and how the fiat has come to have value makes you feel weak and have no control over nothing, first we used to do transactions using gold and than it was changed to coins and than the governments said we are gonna create the currency that is backed up by gold, and after that they said we are gonna print currency and it is gonna have value just because we are in control, and that is where the bitcoin came in, it puts the power back to the hand of the people and lets you do whatever you want with your money and whenever you want to without having to go through all the unnecessary process that are set by the system that has no other reason other than to suck us dry through the taxes.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 14, 2019, 06:56:03 PM
I think that the hype for Libra has gone away, i mean at first people thought it was a good idea and it is gonna revolutionize things, but after a while it seems that it is gonna be just another shit coin that is backed up by a big name, that is not gonna have any use for it other than just the facebook platform, they tried to pull many investors and other companies to start accepting in them, and it go a lot of praise and acceptance but now with many of those companies pulling out one by one, it seems to me that it is going to be a disappointment before it is launched, but who knows what might come out of it we just have to wait and see and decide whether to use it or not.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: November 14, 2019, 06:30:30 PM
In some parts of the world it might be easier for people to use bitcoin as a day to day payment method given the percentage of crypto awareness in that part, but due to to the lack of trust and investment in it in some other part of the world it is hard to us to do so, since we live with other people, we are forced to  act the way the world and the society  forces us to, so you can't buy food or take transport unless you pay with fiat, now you could try and live of bitcoin and crypto using indirect ways that includes bitcoin debit cards or other services, but it does not feel right, it is not using bitcoin. which is the whole purpose of using it to promote it.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to use cryptocurrency to support my favorite content creators? on: November 14, 2019, 05:53:27 PM
I’ve been noticing that services such as Patreon have been booting off some content creators that have “violated” their terms and services. I was just wondering whether it would be possible to support my favorite content creators using cryptocurrency donations to their websites if they allow it?

I mean if the content creator that you are supporting accepts bitcoin than you can just send them, otherwise there other indirect ways to do so, like for example making a bitcoin debit card which you can buy and load it up with bitcoin balance and just use it as a regular credit card at any website or shop, and i am sure that in the future with the crypto becoming more and more popular we will see content websites accept it, for example amazon has brought up the option of adding bitcoin to the payment system and with that it might allow you to sub or donate for streamers on twitch with it .
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 14, 2019, 05:32:52 PM
In my country, I see many sites that are Bitcoin ponzi and scams. These thrive because the police put in little effort in tacking them. I like the awareness being created by the Indian police. What is the awareness level of law enforcement about crypto in your country? If All Police Officers are Trained in Crypto... https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/indian-police-train-officers-on-cryptocurrency/
I don't think that the police has to or need to know what crypto is just because some people are stupid enough to get fouled by some online scam, the law does not protect the idiots, in my country the law knows about bitcoin and crypto because a lot of people have been caught buying and selling drugs and other illegal things through the dark net, and that has set a bad reputation for it here, and because of that many people who are using it for good reason have stopped promoting it and talking about it because they would be suspected with using it for illegal things.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to use Cryptocurrencies in China? on: November 14, 2019, 03:03:29 PM
Recently, I heard that China banned holding cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency transactions, so does that mean that having cryptocurrency in China would be a criminal offense? Moreover, why create such a ban in the first place?

There is no such thing, cryptocurrencies are still moving in China and it is not illegal to be holding them, the only thing that have been stricted in china is exchanges and crypto mining and this to limit money laundering and other things, and in my opinion i think that did that because they are planing on releasing their own crypto and want people to use it instead of using bitcoin and other currencies, and when it comes to china they always want to localize everything.
495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any Impact of AI technology in Trading? on: November 13, 2019, 04:11:50 PM
It is really mind blowing that what AI could do these days, things that were difficult or impossible to to do 3 tears ago are doable by computers and robots today, and implying this to the trading and mimic the decision making that people do is doable but requires a lot of time, if you are a programmer and now know to create a machine learning program you know that to cover all the possible actions and possibilities that could happen in the market at a certain time is quite hard, and especially with the crypto market when things are unpredictable even if you apply an AI there would be a high possibility of failure.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that cryptos such as Bitcoin would be mainstream? on: November 13, 2019, 03:39:34 PM
With how the world is constantly changing and how we are more reliant on the digital world these days, it is evident that soon people are going to no more use the physical form of money and start making their transactions all through the internet, if they are not doing it already, and cryptocurrency is establishing that already with safer secure way to do it, as of bitcoin and all the crypto that are known to us right now i don't think that they will become main stream, at least government won't let because thy would have no control over the system and they won't be able to collect taxes from them, that is why many are starting to create and develop their own cryptocuurency as they are seeing how it is developing and growing and attracting more and more people.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Buying Pizza To Buying A Condo in Manhattan. Bitcoin is Fast Evolving on: November 13, 2019, 02:55:36 PM
This goes to show how far bitcoin has come from the state it was back in the begging, and it also show how easily and how smooth things become when transactions are bitcoin based, imagine if this guy tried to buy the mansion with fiat, it would have been a mess and it would taken him ages to get the money from his bank either cash or bank transfers, and with bitcoin it would have been a simple transfer that could be completed within hours if not minutes, and that is why bitcoin is extremely valuable asset that could change how we do these kind of large transactions and make our lives easier and the processes faster.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Looking to Spend $2 Billion on Blockchain by 2023 on: November 13, 2019, 12:04:23 PM
We have to keep in mind that blockchain technology doesn't necessarily mean crypto, it is a system of its own that could be implemented into any domain that is based on relations between tow individuals or more, which includes services, financials and many more, although China has stated in many occasions that they are and they will be working on creating their own cryptocurrency  since it has become a very popular and a raising filed that has a high potential, i still think that they are more invested in the blockchain as a system for other things rather than just sticking to crypto.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What type of Cryptocurrency is used in the Deep Web for transactions? on: November 13, 2019, 11:40:34 AM
I feel like the use of cryptocurrency on the black market to do all the illegal transactions has played a big role in the bad idea and vision that many people have on it, especially from the media which creates movies and stories about hacking and breaking the law using bitcoin, it is true that on the black market you could use any of the top cryptos on the market to buy services and things that are shady to say the least, but you could do that using fiat and you will get away with it, in our current time every system could be abused and used for the wrong reasons so it makes no difference.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best ways of bringing Bitcoin to non-crypto users on: November 12, 2019, 06:05:33 PM
I just ordered the Wirex card and hope to get it soon. The idea is to receive crypto (Bitcoin) by doing stuff that I would be doing anyway.

What other ways do you know to receive / earn Bitcoin for everyday stuff outside of the crypto world that could bring Bitcoin and other crypto directly to users for them to spend?
The whole point of creating and going out of your way to earn bitcoin is to promote cryptocurrency and the use of it, and if you are just doing normal things no one will care, things are the way they are because we need to show people the difference between crypto based things and normal fiat, and the ones that claim that they will pay for doing it are either a scam or just pay you a minuscule amount compared to what you do, so you are better of learning new thgings and new ways to earn because they make develop and learn new skills that you wouldn't learn if you do regular way.
