641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 18, 2020, 11:09:48 AM
It's game over now for the Boston Celtics. They might win 1 game but I believe it's over now for them. They have been quarrelling and yelling and throwing things in the locker room. How'd do you expect the tainted team chemistry now?
There's still a slight chance if they pull a big W in game 3, but if they still keep playing a close game, they won't stand a chance to reach the Finals then.

I would not see that as a sign that it is over for them, that can actually be a good catalyst for the players to vent out, throw all the frustration out and then come back together as a more determined team.Miami is trying to run away with the series and I would like Miami to go through, but I do hope that Boston will win next one and give us more game in this series.

I hope they could do that. I don't know if this is the play Miami are trying to show us but they've been making great defense that even with a lot of leads they're opponent has, they are still winning. Saying that, if Boston Celtics can't hold their ground with that lead, they will be having a hard time stretching this game to game 6, how much more of a game 7.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 17, 2020, 10:20:08 PM
So am urging everyone out there playing to play, but try not to make it a lifestyle, try to always play with only money youve decided to loose, play for the fun and don't expect anything back... Play and don't get addicted.

Well, that is the hard part of being an addict to gambling. You will never know something is wrong until someone told you so and do something that would make you realize that, in terms of your friend, his wife and child left him. It is hard to just say use money you could lose or just play for fun since even though you're like that you are also hoping you could get something out of it since you're gambling.

You can't just also say don't get addicted because not all of us can control ourselves. When I as in his shoes I thought that I am just having fun, I thought that I got it under control but even though you don't have money, you will still go there and watch other gamblers play. Sometimes you might even think of begging money on those big winners so you could also play. It is hard but it is great that you are helping him since that would be a huge thing for him. Be there for him, also invite other friends you could also introduce him to other people that could accompany him,
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 17, 2020, 08:44:37 PM
I doubt that some 22 year old could be the leader of any team. I understand that they could be star but leader and star are very different stuff, sometimes the player who is not the best player could be the leader of a team. Just to give an example Tim Duncan was the leader of Spurs even on his last year but to be perfectly honest he wasn't anywhere near where he used to be and didn't really possessed any threat, yet he was the leader.

Sometimes you just gotta take the characteristic of leadership instead of actually stardom, however usually they are similar people. I feel like the real leader there must be Kemba Walker, I know he has been there for just one season but honestly he has that type of reputation and I believe him to be that good in a leadership role if you ask me.

Well, these leaders are those players that has a reputation built within the team and also as a player. In terms of Tim Duncan, that is Tim Duncan, with the reputation he built in the past it is obvious that people would follow them because he just don't lead because he wants to but because he had something to back those up. That is why most of leaders are also the star of the team.
644  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 17, 2020, 07:00:43 PM
That is a sad reality now because of pandemic many people lives getting worst then suddenly price of every goods in the market that we really need daily are also increasing but the salary and income of every individual nothing change. And now that most of the people lost their job ,buying a primary necessities is very difficult for them. It's really hard to think about our situation now.

It is called inflation, and I know it is really hard. You could see a lot of threads in the forum already talking about this since we already know what will happen in this pandemic in the long run. I know that this is a risk but you could still do some investments that could/might do well during inflation.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: Our chance to reset on: September 17, 2020, 05:52:26 PM
It is hard for a lot of people, a lot of people are sturggling, most of them are risking theirselves right now just to keep a food in the table for the family but I think looking for something positive in this pandemic really helps people. I know that it might not be agreeable for most of us but with a lot of things happening right now, positivity could keep us going forward.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: September 17, 2020, 02:46:16 AM
Personally, bitcoin is a valuable asset for the future, things have changed after I got bitcoin in my wallet. Of course other people will be like me if they have bitcoin in their wallet.

I think not all us though. I think you could say change since you have a way to earn money through time but in terms of other way for you to say that things change like using it, I guess not. I can't use bitcoin really well since the acceptability of it in our country is still limited and that is through an exchange. In my case, it did not change a lot of thing but it started something great.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin society on: September 16, 2020, 11:25:10 PM
I am not the kind of guy or individual that you've said but I am here to get something out of it. I've been getting some profits from my investments and I am also looking forward to what the future of bitcoin holds. I did'nt found myself here, it is just that it is more convinient here.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 16, 2020, 09:21:01 PM
Mostly those people who play gambling for the sake of gaining money fall out of the trap of desperation that he wanted to win consecutively after experiencing the first one which turns that you will be seeking more everytime you experience win and desperately would spend a lot of money just to try getting what you have loss but turns out to experience consecutive losses and have not been able to recover anything at all but just debt snd regrets for being impulsive on playing for the sake of money. Usually people with such kind of attitude towards playing gambling experience greater losses added up by stress and pressure for wanting to win to obtain a big amount of money.

If at the first place you intended to play for enjoyment and manage you budget for the amount of money you are going to spend on playing gambling, maybe you can have a better self-control as well as be happy and contented if you are winning and treat such thing as a bonus you have got from enjoying playing gambling.

The proportion of those people who play for fun is very small. Basically, all the people playing in the first place for the sake of earning money. Even if you are playing for fun, whether you receive it constantly losing and losing money? Therefore, we have much to talk about pleasure, but without winning neither money nor pleasure.

I think it is not that small. There are those people that play gambling for fun, for entertainment but still, they hope to earn money from it too. Some say they bet for the money but I guess that is how they have fun from gambling, earning money. So as long as we are talking about gambling, we are talking about money, we can't actually separate these two.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 16, 2020, 06:43:49 PM
It turns out that card counting in blackjack is quite difficult when it's actually done at a casino. Even though when our practice was
smooth using the card counting strategy, but when used in casinos there are too many obstacles and pressures that make it difficult
for us to focus on card counting. So the card counting strategy really has to increase the practice, so that we can focus and concentrate.

It is, you need 100% concentration and zero distraction I don't know how these people do it but it's more of countless hours of practice and of course, you also need luck, luck that you have a good state of mind to give 100% concentration and zero distractions I read in one article that it's illegal, so you are actually doing it without anybody noticing it.

That would be really hard, for sure. You can't memorize all of the cards alone even with 100% concentration and zero distraction since first of all, you are in a casino, you will never be able to hit that 100% concentration that easily and second of all, if you are dealing with 5-6 deck of cards and its continuously shuffled. Most of the casinos hate counting because as they've said, you are gaining an edge.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 16, 2020, 01:29:19 PM
Children in my opinion needs to be nourished in an environment that should be susceptible to learning and gives them a sense that learning and reading and studying are not boring endeavors but rather important things that they will need to do in order to succeed in life. They will pursue more noble things in life if these children will be taken good care by their parents. Gambling is an adult activity and should stay that way. Children really need to prepare their lives in becoming responsible adults.

I guess this really depends on the parent but this spider betting is something being passed here in our province. The parents that are taking care of their children right now did that in the past, they know what it feels like to be at that position but they never actually got addicted to it, not until they held a rooster and seen a cockfight.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 16, 2020, 12:36:02 PM
Everyone is so surprised but should you be?  Denver has been one of the top teams in the west for the past 2 years.  Jokic is a top 5-10 player in the league, murray is one of the top young players in the league, Porter would have been a no1 or no2 draft pick but slid cause of an injury in college and the team is real deep.  And to top it off they play both ends of the court strong.  I wont be surprised if they knock off the lakers and eventually win the chip.  Go nugs.

Well, I am surprised since they overcame a 3-1 series twice, the result of this game 7 showed how great they are. I think we are just stuck at the idea of LAC and LAL facing the WCF that is why a lot of people are surprised. Right now I am fixed with Boston and Miami but in this WCF, I guess I would throw my first bet on LAL.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 16, 2020, 12:02:54 PM
Obviously we can't fully depend on bitcoin. With this volatile crypto currency, what we can just do is make predictions on what may happen in the few days, weeks, months, and years. My cousin does some daily trading but he stopped after the price fell since most of the crypto currencies in his portfolio was affected. IMO, if you have a lot of money in bitcoin, a simple movement could give you good profit that you might use to pay some bills.
653  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID19 VACCINE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH? on: September 16, 2020, 11:07:31 AM
Even if there is a vaccines for Covid, I will not be able to inject it immediately, i will look first at what side effect it will have in the human body.

You should even do some searches about it or maybe ask someone about it since until now we are still not being given or being announced about a vaccine that went through phase III of its testings. We don't know how long will we wait for the vaccine, all we know that there are a lot of them being developed and in the tests now.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 16, 2020, 10:26:13 AM
I don't know if this is just an experiment for them since they've been going back and forth with these bans and regulations. I guess this would take more time and I think we should just let them be for now since they are having a problem with the pandemic now. Since the number of investors of crypto currencies is increasing in India, I think they are thinking that they might not squeeze more tax on these people, just my prediction though.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: September 16, 2020, 12:12:25 AM
But unfortunately government doesn't operate decentralized coin and all the things are dependent on centralized local currency. Hopefully in future, Bitcoin and other major coin will be accepted by government.

I think we will all be seeing that future and to be honest, it is not that impossible to happen knowing that some countries are already accepting bitcoin and other crypto currencies as well. The problem is how will they make use of it like the problems told by @Slowdeath above. We are talking about its acceptance that is already happened/happening in some countries but how about it being adopted in certain scenarios. That just means it would be centralized if that happens.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 15, 2020, 11:00:42 PM
Honestly Clippers got soooooo much criticism for even allowing the series to go to 7

What's the problem of the others if the series got to Game 7?

Been browsing in some NBA community forums and even reading lots of comments from NBA related pages but I don't see much criticism for the Clippers just because the series went to Game 7. Any source for this random criticism comments?

Those who criticized, as you mentioned maybe just a group of people who only watched the NBA during the playoffs to Finals. It's a disrespect for the Denver Nuggets to be considered as no chance to win at some of their matchup against the Clippers on their series.

You are right, most of those "fans" are actually those people that is not a fan of the game. They are just those bandwaggons that ride the hype during the playoffs, for the clout as they said it. Most of them just know Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on that team and would surely switch sides when Denver Nuggets win the series.

Edit: Most of the comments I've seen we're in Facebook but you all know how toxic that platform is.
657  Other / Archival / Re: Most popular discord gambling bots on: September 15, 2020, 10:46:19 PM
That is just surprising. I thought this bot would just give me tips or give me percentages of winning in gambling but you can use to play some games and even use it for buying and selling crypto currencies? That is just amazing. I will be inviting one of them in our server, it is kind of coincidence since we made a Discord server this week for our math subjects, that would be a good time to have some fun with other teachers.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 15, 2020, 10:34:14 PM
It will depend on one's ability of solving and analysing the game that makes it thrilling and fun still to play, but sure only few will play as many still prefers to play base on their chance and not by thinking or making it serious, it's still good for practicing of brains sometimes but I already set in mind that card games and sport betting much need skills in playing before betting while slots and some dice where just made for checking luck.

Most of the people think that skill-based gambling is better since they think that there is a higher chance of winning, and I agree on that. Unlike roulette, slots and dice games where you just hope that you are lucky enough to win and the main thing that could impact your game is your bank roll. The more you have, the higher chance you can win.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 15, 2020, 11:18:10 AM
I don't mind playing some poker games or some Blackjack from time to time, to be honest it is not that I prefer one of them I prefer what I feel playing. When I am visiting an online site, I usually wanted to play blackjack or poker if I have a lot of time, if I don't usually I play roulette or most of the time dice. But usually, it is dice since it is fast and it can give me results fast.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020 Money is king Again Good news on: September 13, 2020, 11:37:00 PM
Only Thing what will matter is Money!!
That also means, certain countries are starting to print their own money. That also means you will see more inflation which is really bad to be fair. It's correct that money takes its place in this world to buy everything and you can't even live in this world without money, but that perception sounds really wrong for me.

You can live without money in this world, but you needed it. It is the value that it has and it is really absurd how these papers have that kind of value like a gold. You would say you have a garden to keep you alive but to maintain it you need money. Clothes and house got broken, you really need money for those.
