561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 09, 2020, 02:51:19 PM
It is true though, it is fast but the problem is that I don't think people would be accepting bitcoin as bitcoin. People here in the country use an exchange to send money, they will send it as a bitcoin then it will end up as fiat in a remittance center. It is not for all I guess and right now, I'd rather just hold it and trade it rather than sending it as payment since I could just do that with a fiat.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 09, 2020, 01:25:42 PM
I think there are those people that don't actually care what happened to bitcoin. As long as they can get a profit out of their investments, they would invest in bitcoin and get out to their advantage. In the end, if we will be looking at the long run, I think the ones holding for a long time get the higher profit than those getting out quickly.
Well, every people has their own judgment wether to stay longer in bitcoin once the all time high reached. But, some grab the opportunity in taking profit, of course. So they are thinking on the long term opportunity that a bitcoin could offer. When holding long term a chance to earn huge profit if the price soar in the marker. So people giving up quickly on bitcoin because of don't believe in its adoption happening.

I think some of us here are not even thinking that there will be a huge adoption in the future, some of us are just taking advantage of what they can do right now. But I think there are those that trust the process, that believes that bitcoin will be a huge part of an economy of a country in the future. That it will be a great currency used online.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 09, 2020, 12:05:46 PM
Well, there are a lot of sites out there that don't actually care if a underage created an account and bet there but, just so you know, it is illegal for them to gamble and instead of using that money to gamble maybe you can invest it to crypto currencies as it will be better and give you a good profit in the near future while gambling might just drain all of your money.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 09, 2020, 11:04:58 AM
As we know that no betting is safe, it is better to save money because we can not lose all of the money for just betting. Betting in sports is fun, but if you lose your money, that will not be fun anymore because you can not place the bet again. The beginners must know about that, and they must learn from other people's mistakes to prevent the losses. When we don't have a chance to win, we might better stop gambling.

People know that and the thing that excites them more is taking on that risks and winning against those risks is something great to them. There are those that could bet as long as he can and still not get addicted to gambling, and I know, even if we are truly picking those higher odds thinking that it could be a safe bet, it is still a risk, people are still enjoying that.
Maybe that is right. People willing to take the risk will try to play on those games. They know the chance to win will not be bigger, but they can accept that. Instead, thinking about losing or winning can make them confused. They are trying to enjoy the games. As long as people can enjoy and have fun, it will be no problem for them if, somehow, they lose their money because that is part of the gambling which they can accept.

Yeah, I hope they are all enjoying their bets instead of hoping that it could give them huge profits that would make them rich or wealthy in the next few years if they continued doing that. Atleast if they are enjoying their bets, even if they are taking those high odds or low odds, the results won't  give them that negative reactions or emotion.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 09, 2020, 10:29:59 AM
While its certain that the pandemic has affected certain teams in sports, there are proven solutions that could work to boost a players morale to play despite the pandemic.
We can see, virtual audience is effective for players to gain energy especially with a digital world. Its more easy to connect with many people in social media platforms.

Well, it is a solution also for the league to gain people from watching the game. Another thing is that it is still different with a live audience or fans in an arena or a stadium. It is fun to see NBA games with homecourt advantages as they said it, it could also changes games and I think we will not be seeing a Miami Heat vs. LA Lakers finals if the series is not in the bubble.

But those actual games is better than we have right now.

You can hear the roaring crowd that would fuel the players and could show or give more great plays for their fans. They are still doing that but I see them more outside the bubble. The funny interactions of the players, their fans and some celebrities that are watching the game. Still, I am thankful that the games continued as it also help other people cope being in their houses for a long time.

But we can't do anything about it now though. As you said, I am also thankful that the games continued. It may be different if the pandemic happened and they didn't play in the bubble but still, there are players that did shine in this series and we've seen some performances that may be different to the usual games that they are having.

btc is not good to pay our bills.,

Op, I don't really understand your first paragraph of  text, if what is here is really your question, so i will go ahead to answer or attend to it.
I disagreed with you that bitcoin is not good to pay our bills with bitcoin, looking at it in ramifications bitcoin is the easiest way to pay funds because is not what everyone has, paying bills with bitcoin it shows that bitcoin is taking over the world which the prayer of bitcoin users

I think what he meant by that is the profit you are getting by investing in bitcoin is not enough to pay for the OPs bills. It is true though that is why the people that invited me to invest don't told me to depend on it. People should know that it is volatile and it is a risk investing on it, that is why people encourage people to HODL than day trade since it is far more profitable.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 08, 2020, 04:48:25 PM
Pandamic situation has informed us.We can die at any moment. It is a matter of fact that many people have suffered financially. As I myself have suffered.I am in a lot of losses after buying many tokens.

Better be careful about how you use your fiat right now since with the pandemic still going on, you will never know when will you need that money and where will you get it since there are a lot of people unemployed right now. The best thing to do right now is to be careful and I think you try to lessen the tokens you are buying, you could continue buying them but keep it minimum and keep it so that you could just lose what you can.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 08, 2020, 03:59:50 PM
I once sent some mBtc to an address that is void. I copy-pasted the address not knowing that I am missing the last two characters of it. It doesn't matter though but since no one actually owns that address, that mBtc I sent will be delivered into the void which means that would be unusable and won't be retrieved.

Can I get some full video links of the replay of the Finals?
Missed it all, LoL, was too busy studying. Can't find a complete game on Youtube, majority were just highlights.
Honestly it's hard to find a full replay in youtube especially on this NBA Finals, I can't also find it in different site, so I can only suggest you to watch a highlights per quarter, that could still give some excitement at a very least.

If you really wanted to feel the whole game, I could recommend you some YouTube videos but it will not be a full video of the game but a play by play reactions since they can't live stream the actual game. Highlights per quarter is better.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 08, 2020, 10:13:32 AM
Good Rules to follow to become Rich, But To Become Rich depends on other things Also like Hard Work and mainly it depends on your Destiny.

Every job is hard work many times even if one's destination is right success is not possible without hard work you have to work hard and try to save money. It will play the biggest role in our lives and help us improve in the future.

In the past, it is true that hard work is needed for people to be successful but right now, there are a lot of opportunities we could take and that is why you don't need to just be a hardworker, you also need to be smart. Hard work might keep on pushing you through but without thinking what you are doing, you might be lost and end up in the same place.

It is really hard right now. Most of the teachers are struggling with the new way of teaching since most of them are not that literate with technologies. Some resigned because they teach in private schools and they are no work no pay which is a disadvantage in online classes and with the modules being printed out, they are so expensive.

What I don't understand is how the video that is dated on December 1, 2019 goes viral every few months - Supercar Blondie wants more new friends on FB Roll Eyes

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. I'll just lock this and link the old thread.

it's a Franck with a C between N and K. anyway, they could've at least design the watch much better than that. what a waste of a potentially good looking watch.

I am not a fan of watches and I think I could use that huge money on better things like ledger, as @Janation said, or a good computer that I could use.

Just seen this video from facebook page of Supercar Blondie. A wrist watch by Frank Muller. Said to be the first functional bitcoin watch. The description says $17M on your wrist but upon watching the video, it says it has $17M worth of bitcoin in there, so I don't actually know how much does this cost. Anyone interested in this?

577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 05, 2020, 11:43:51 PM
If this fight is really gonna happen, then the result is already crystal clear, Manny Paquiao would win. Conor is a mixed martial artist, meaning punching is not his expertise so in a boxing match, the odds will be in Manny Paquiao surely.
...

...
That's why others see that Conor won't last against Manny. But I'm thinking that Pacquaio might just stretch the fight similar to what Floyd did, at least to give the fans some excitement and then knock him out in the later rounds.

True, whatever we said here, it will come down to how these two professional athletes will make this fight exciting, Conor McGregor struggling to the speed of one of the best boxers in this generation and the money they will be getting which Manny has a good intention for it and I don't know about Conor. I guess that is the way this match sums up.

It is true that our Senator, Manny Pacquiao has the upper hand when it comes to boxing but let's not forget that Conor McGregor is also known for his powerful punches and the same as Manny Pacquiao, Conor's left hand KOed a lot of fighters in the octagon. The fact that he is challenging boxers means he has the gut and he's confident with his punching power. Boxing is not his expertise but in terms of punching, Conor can answer still, I am rooting for our Senator as he has his own reason for taking this fight.
579  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: October 03, 2020, 11:54:34 PM
Actually it is possible to live without banks. There are many people who are living in remote or rural areas that don't own any bank account. Also, those people that are working in most blue collar jobs, who are paid daily or weekly that don't need bank accounts as they are being paid in cash. A lot of people in third world countries don't own any bank account up until now. So my answer is yes, it is still possible to live without banks.
Of course, many people still do without banks and without their loans. This is especially true for rural residents. People often live there all their lives and never turn to banks for help. However, in recent decades, it has become more convenient to use various bank cards and to unite utilities and other services with their help. Therefore, the role of non-cash payments is growing very rapidly.

I live in a province and I can see a lot of people without bank accounts and still doing well. Most of them told me they doesn't need it but I think in times like these, they needed it, we need banks might not be every day but there are things you need them for. Some of these people's partners claim their financial aids through their ATMs.

Quote
Rule 24 The Most Important Rule
If your rich, famous, powerful ,beautiful, healthy, loved that does not mean you are smart ,or your parents/family are smart . It's just your fate given to you .
Sounds like "the most easiest way to become rich is to be born into a wealth family". Sad, but true.

How about marrying someone that is already rich, didn't consider that?

I don't believe those who are rich followed those rules completely to achieve their richness, its quite an herculean task to be able to put to use those rules, we also have illiterates that are also rich how did they accomplish that feat of getting rich? even without knowing how to read and write,my point is that anybody can be rich if you are very wise and intelligent in managing your investment.

Not all follows that since majority of people doesn't know if that list by OP exist but to be rich I must agree to the other says that don't focus your life on 8 hours job or 9-5 since the salary of that option cannot give us wealth since the daily grade is enough only for our daily expenses. But if people will build business with passion, tactics and discipline since for sure if all of this will follow especially if you have money for sure in future your money will work for you to earn and you will gain richest for that.

As our mentor say, if you wanted to be rich you don't need to work 8-9 hours a day. Manage your time and money well and as long as someone you are working for someone else, you are still far from being wealthy. If you want to be one, you need to step up and that also means creating your own path to reach your own wealthiness.
