101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best way to earn btc on: May 09, 2017, 07:02:05 PM
I only knew about bitcoin last month because there's so my friend share a lot of news about bitcoin in my timeline. So far I've read that trading is the best way to earn bitcoin. Joining campaigns is another great way to earn because it require no capital. But for me it's the best to buy bitcoin directly as i have no knowledge nor the time to join campaign.

Trading needs experience and luck; of course is a way for quick profit but for a quick loss too because is a very risky method. Joining in signature campaigns is like an every day cup of coffee; depends where you currently lives your posts and the demands of campaign managers. Best one, if you have this option, is payment for goods and services with btc
102  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help Blockchain verification email not received. I can't login without it. on: May 09, 2017, 05:26:06 PM
As an advice because is not the first time blockchain.info faces the same problem with verification and email clients I found very handy to use the corresponding android app which I had paired with the online wallet. Therefore one can use only a 4-digit pin and avoid these malfunctions.
103  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is the main appeal of online wallets and why do people use them? on: May 09, 2017, 01:49:23 PM
People they afraid and they often have the misconception that someone else, here the owners of the online wallets, are more appropriate than them to keep their money safe. Fortunately if someone reads about wallets and ask others like here he can easily go to another solution.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 09, 2017, 09:25:34 AM
To my point of view mainly because, as already some above had post for quick profit like as gambling, and where bitcoin is not the appropriate crypto currency. As an example when the privacy between receiver and sender is a must then an anon coin should be used, say the monero.
105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘Merciful’ Church Forgives HIV-Infected Catholic Priest Who Raped 30 Children on: May 09, 2017, 07:25:21 AM
It is really sad and at the same time shameful that these monsters with human face instead of be condemned in an exemplary way so that in the future same incidents being avoided unfortunately they are mercifully treated and church pays to give them medication. Unfortunately, neither courts nor governments do anything particularly in small and poor countries because they are paid by the church.
106  Other / Meta / Re: Why do forum members lock there threads ??? on: May 08, 2017, 09:17:36 PM
Only reason I asked as I was intrested in buying a product but he says bump then locks right away

That means that the OP wants to keep his thread in a good place in the daily ranking in the forum so that to attract more visitors but for some reason he does not want anybody to comment on it. If the reason is not that he wants to keep it 'clean' for anything irrelevant, then it's almost sure that something he wants to hide and that's a good reason to not make a deal with him.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LTC as the gateway coin for fast and cheap BTC transactions? on: May 08, 2017, 08:48:52 PM
Litecoin is good as alternative of btc only for small transactions. If the scaling debate going on for long, people will find another way for micropayments like as the ltc or will stop if they haven't already done to use bitcoin as currency. But in case of big transactions tx fees in main net are currently very cheap compared with the traditional wire transfer of fiat money.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give me your buy, sell or neutral ratings on the following cryptocurrencies: on: May 08, 2017, 12:20:44 PM
Buy bitcoin, sell all the others.  That's my advice, and it'll be the same advice 5 years from now, when your list is populated with shitcoins-du-jour having different names.  They're all shitty and they all should be sold to buy bitcoin.

I don't understand how you can say what you did. I preface this by saying I'm a newb just wanting to have constructive conversation and educate myself on the facts. Is the underlying tech of some of the altcoins not much better than bitcoin (litecoin as an example)? Only reason bitcoin is stronger right now is brand name/network effect or is that not correct?

The average block time of the 2.5 min of ltc against 10 min in btc does not make it a better crypto currency but the imminent segwit adoption yes. If ltc was better than btc its price would be raised some years ago and not last month. Except that, my advice is keep your btc buy ltc due to segwit and monero due to its features concerning the privacy.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Macron supporting bitcoin? what does it mean for us? on: May 08, 2017, 11:56:36 AM
Macron was a banker.I don`t expect him to support bitcoin.
The best thing will be, if he keeps a neutral policy about bitcoin and cryptos.
Please remove this image.I can`t see anything except his ugly face. Grin

On the contrary, Macron as a banker loves any form of money and there is no problem for any bank have its reserves in bitcoins, gold and/or fiat money. I believe that new president will be more progressive and maybe will establish the bitcoin payment but under certain  KYC/AML regulations.
110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are bitcoins worth to become a career?? on: May 07, 2017, 05:37:45 PM
Of course bitcoin is a revolutionary currency but behind it there is also an innovative technology. Therefore there is new field where people can work and they can make a career. Some of them are as financial analysts in cryptocurrency ecosystem and as software developers in blockchain and so on.
111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Le Pen Wins on: May 07, 2017, 03:11:27 PM

--snip--

The Russians have put everything in to destroy the European Union. I'm sure that immigrant crisis is also the handiwork of Russian. Of course a hasty decision to help the people of Angela Merkel played a crucial role, but the flow of refugees was organized by the Russian.

No it this is not true. Russia has nothing to earn if the immigrants flood the Europe. On the contrary, Erdogan, has a big hate against Europe because she does not want him in the eurozone and in the European Union in general. Furthermore, most of the immigrants are manipulated better from Turkey due to the same religion.
112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Macron's campaign says it suffered 'massive' email hack on: May 06, 2017, 07:25:39 AM
It is weird that today he found out this leak. Maybe he really tells the truth. Macron like any other politician is a public face and certainly he attracts the interest not only to its competitor but also to others around the world. But he can say lies or simply he can represent things worse than it really are. Tomorrow is the day of presidential election in France and with any way, of course, he wants to get as many votes as he can.
113  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can a bitcoin transaction be traced from one wallet to another? on: May 06, 2017, 06:39:50 AM
Hi. I have two online wallets. I imagine both of these companies keep logs. If I was to send a bitcoin payment from one of my wallets, to another wallet, is it ever possible to link these 2 wallets up? If both accounts were looked at, would somebody be able to see that a specific payment had been sent from one wallet to the another?
We can say directly that we can trace or not .
Actually it all depends upon you that which wallet you use .
If you are using the official wallet of the bitcoin that is blockchain then you can see the address that always goes changes after one transaction so if you will send from.your wallet to the blockchain then Ofcourse no one will be able to trace your payment .
but if you are using the wallet that have single address ( doesn't change time to time and also dosen't change after transaction usual case of the mysellium , zebpay , xapo , coinbase ) Then I this case anyone can you easily .
But if you have one wallet that have variable address then you don't need to worry at all , Because no one can.trace you .

No this is wrong. The 'official' as you said wallet is not blockchain but the full node desktop wallet Bitcoin Core. Furthermore although it's a good practice to use new address for every transaction, also it is wrong that you are safe because bitcoin is not untraceable. There are ways somebody can find your wallet knowing only one address of it. As an example would you like to test it by your self using this site?

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't notice that someone two posts above my post had already said about the wallet explorer.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there anything that is still 'undervalued' on: May 05, 2017, 02:19:00 PM
Monero, LTC and Waves are the coins that still under value compared to the feature of this coin. They offer a wide and unique technology that are very helpful on crypto community. They are now sleeping but soon they will rise.

I believe that monero can be increased in the future when the interest in crypto currencies also will be increased due to its inherent unique features concerning anonymity. I don't believe that same course will be happen with ltc too. If the scaling debate ends with one or another way there is no need people to use ltc.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN ATM MACHINES on: May 05, 2017, 02:09:35 PM
In my country there are two bitcoin atm's. One of them is a two way machine, that is, fiat to crypto and vice versa. It's a convenient way but is very expensive for frequent usage. Does anyone is happy paying a rate kraken+7%.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 12:25:39 PM
The only way to advertise bitcoin is, imo, when people try to use it as currency and not only holding it as commodity. That is, if you love it and you believe that it worth to be known everywhere then next time you go to a shop ask to pay with bitcoin and not with credit/debit card or cash. Merchants will happily accept it as payment if there are customers asking for it over and over again.
117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is better than Obama? on: May 05, 2017, 10:58:00 AM
It is definitely too early to judge. The only thing I see and I do not think that will change in the future is Trump makes quick decisions and is not interested to keep the protocol with other leaders. It is also an unpredictable man or the media have failed till now to understand his temper. But surely, after the end of his presidential term, everyone will remember him.
118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can Escrows Earn Money on: May 05, 2017, 07:56:27 AM
Hello all.

I think this quesion has been asked before but I could not find the answer and must ask again now.

So how much can an escrow earn in a month and what are the difficult things of working as an escrow ?

Trust between people is difficult to be built and easily can collapses. It is normal in bitcoin world because it is trustless when there is a transaction between two parties, and mainly when this is the first transaction between them or the amount is big enough any or both of them to ask for an escrow so that the transaction to be smooth. Sometimes it's an easy task but other it's not. You can find some cases in the forum where there is no agreement between them. Therefore an incentive motivates people who are escrow to do properly this process.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we expect "average Joe" to remember passphrases to his Bitcoins? on: May 05, 2017, 06:59:10 AM
I really do not think there is any way to do them responsible. People do not change easily if they do not tolerate the consequences of their carelessness. If in the future they do the same fault again that means they will not ever understand how to protect their funds and maybe let them to stick with their cash fiat money.
120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Emmanuel macron was more convincing than marine Le Pen during a key TV debate on: May 04, 2017, 04:09:13 PM
The TV show, I didn't see it as debate, because it had all the characteristics of a soap opera with the exclusive purpose people watch the TV and go to vote. Both candidates are not worth the presidency of France. It is sure that French do not want Macron, but they will vote against of Le Pen. It would be very interesting if the polls in favor of  Macron would be overturned.
