41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 01, 2017, 11:33:35 PM
It's good someone to make dreams but it's not sure that will be reality. Especially when we know the volatility of bitcoin. Moreover after a decade and more who really can predict the future of cryptocurrencies? That is why I do not fully share the optimism of the OP. If he has enough money maybe he should look at some other investment proposals such as the purchase of land, insurance contract etc.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is ICO? on: June 01, 2017, 10:43:18 AM
Instead of giving you only some definitions I believe that is more helpful giving you a couple of good links like as here and here. At sure is a good way to do some profit but in many cases you will loose your money. Watch a short video here from Andreas Antonopoulos.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to have cheap transactions now? on: May 31, 2017, 11:58:18 AM
I am really sure that non all transactions need to be confirmed into the next 1-3 blocks. For many of them if people pay about the half of the proposed fee their transactions will be confirmed in a decent time. On the other side if some need quick confirmations for everyday micropayments then the most appropriate payment, like some before me post above, is to use any altcoin, say litecoin.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Ecuador on: May 30, 2017, 07:03:55 PM
Even though Ecuador government banned bitcoin people continue to use it and their adoption growing instead of declining. This is a good example where any foolish politicians cannot impose their will on their citizens. It's a lost game for them.
45  Economy / Services / Re: PayBis signature campaign [Campaign Paused] on: May 30, 2017, 05:15:07 AM
Hi team
I'm interested to know if you have a place to participate in the campaign, thank you very much.

If you had read the title of the topic or the post in previous page you could understand that campaign has paused before 7 days for an indefinite period of time.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: May 29, 2017, 08:13:39 PM
I do not think I will buy at this price unless I need to spend it immediately in order to buy a good or service where no other way of payment is good for me. Nevertheless, if I buy it so high and I see the price rapidly declining I'll buy altcoins or I will wait the price to go up again.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Bitcoin Japan on: May 28, 2017, 04:48:21 PM
All these stories about the mythical Satoshi reminds me episode from the well known Xfiles TV series. I believe that if ever done any statistical text analysis, it will be one of the words with the most high frequency after 'bitcoin' and 'blockchain'.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the Correction...Will Bitcoin Fly? on: May 27, 2017, 06:37:18 PM
Volatility is really incredible and for me is unjustified except the fact that crypto market cap is not so big. As far as it concerns 'correction' I can't believe that applies in crypto currencies market because bitcoin is not a stock or bond and surely is not only commodity.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible big Crash coming within 10 days on: May 27, 2017, 11:05:38 AM
I think and I am predicting that a BIG CRASH is coming within the next 10 days.

Why?
Because there is no investment or asset that can increases itw own prices the way Bitcoin is doing, less than a month ago the price was at 1,300 usd and now is at 2,500 usd this is crazy and it is not possible.

Actually this has happened back in 2013 when the price falt like a rocket been knocked down to the ground.

Actually if you ask any profesional investor in the world what do they think, the will really tell you that it is too beautiful to be truth, and that you should stay away frrom anything that shines like gold, without been gold, because it is 100% that is a ponzi scheme.

So becareful and sell as soon as possible, before the boat sinks.

I hope also will not happen because I also like it, and I am amaze with what have happened, but lets be realistic, is impossible this utopic situation.

I agree that nowadays price is very high in a small period but I cannot follow you and I find it wrong to claim that bitcoin is like a ponzi scheme and everything shines is not gold and so on, because bitcoin is digital gold. Moreover speaking about 2013 we can't take safe results when we have to deal with the first time crypto currency.
50  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitlser on: May 27, 2017, 05:21:35 AM
Putting aside the fact that your action is illegal, this guy having your personal data will be able to blackmail you at any time if you ask from him your money. It's a lost case.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Selling My House to Buy Litecoin on: May 26, 2017, 09:52:53 PM
I am a bit surprised that somebody who has the capability to do such a move has such a conservative investment like a house.
But on the other hand even though it seems way to risky, it could become the best decision of his life.

Many people keep their houses not why they see it is as investment but because this is a part of their lives or because they want to have a steady 'base'. Maybe this was a legacy from his parents.
52  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Great Bitcoin wallet on: May 26, 2017, 10:29:18 AM
Anybody using Ledger Nano S as a wallet? Please share your experience
Thanks

There are 4 types of wallet
- software on local hard drive
- on your mobile phones
-Hosted online
- and paper wallet and i think it is the best because no one can hack it.
there are many kinds of trusted wallet online just choose the best so you will not regret in the future.

I think you need to give more specific information, because there are so many fake wallets on the market, the information you give does not really help him.

Can you give an example or a link where we can read about fake ones? Wallets usually have categories as, web, desktop, mobile and hardware wallets. Look at here.
53  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: TREZOR Hardware wallets? on: May 25, 2017, 11:42:57 AM
I'm also planning to have one in the near future..Is this kind of hardware wallet supported with altcoins like etherium?

Yes, Trezor with the firmware update from 1.4.0 version and higher supports eth. With firmware 1.4.2 and more supports and other alts like as Dash and Zcash.
54  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you doomed if you are not tech savvy? on: May 24, 2017, 07:12:39 AM
I have the feeling that people in early days of bitcoin they had knowledge and enthusiasm with cryptography and programming. But now most users with a big stash and every day involving they are traders who know only the basics and their only interest is the price of bitcoin.

56  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 15yo girl raped by 3 migrants (afghan and somali) in little austrian town on: May 22, 2017, 11:49:06 AM
In any other country, the perpetrators would have been lynched by now.

That would have happened in countries such as Russia and China, but not in the European Union. Open season has been declared against natives in the EU. The migrants can do whatever they want, and later they can avoid imprisonment by claiming that they are below the legal age.

I live in a European country and unfortunately this is true. Lately many of such incidents have multiplied and governments are trying to hide or mitigate them. If you are speaking against immigrants then you are considered a racist and generally you feel like as a foreigner in your country.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you enjoying the crazy Bitcoin price rise? on: May 22, 2017, 10:37:42 AM
Obviously the price soars very fast and I definitely feel good. If I had bought gold and it was also going up fast I would feel the same, had I? Currently, those who risked, did not sell their coins at a lower price and trust it they are rewarded by all time high price.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fees are crazy, 420 satoshis/byte, WHY? on: May 21, 2017, 05:25:18 PM
Quote
stop using BTC all together is another possibility

Bitcoin was intended to be a tool for the masses, Not just privileged people. It was made to free people from the extortion of the banks.. Right now the miners have become the big banks.. And bitcoin is becoming more of a tool for elites.. If this continues and no consensus reached.. Bitcoin will lose its purpose..
I thought that it's already lost its purpose. The current fee is already crazy and now appear many accelerators which require you to pay some amount of bitcoin which is highly expensive compared to the normal fee for the exchange of faster confirmation. I know the accelerator's providers aren't forcing you but for those who are in need of their money have no choice but to use this service.
Such a pity for the faucet hunters who more likely to have bigger transaction size while their earning are pretty low.

People trying to earn money from faucets they actually are wasting their time. The purpose of faucets is people to learn how bitcoin works doing some transactions each other. For this reason usually these very small transactions are considered as 'dust' clogging the network and are discouraged because increasing the problem that already exists.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: May 21, 2017, 01:06:07 PM
Not just a house I want to buy, but the latest 2-door sports car, I would buy the apartment and make love with many women, patience is the thing we have to do because when the prices rise makes us be tempted to sell it.

Buy a house is very nice plan, because that is for a life us be better with having house.
But, we are don't know when the Bitcoin price will go up due to the Bitcoin value is volatile.

Actually we all know that today is the best time to buy bitcoin since Japan accepted it and adopted it. Next month Australia will also adopt bitcoin as a form of payment in exchange for goods and services in their country. Thus if we buy now we will experience more price spike and possibly it will hit by 3k or 5k $ by the end of the year. If you buy more bitcoins now then by next year you can buy a house.

Nobody knows if bitcoin price soars or will crash. Investors always have to think about it even though all bitcoin holders pray for the best. Therefore, if someone has a big bitcoin stash maybe could diversify it so as to mitigate the risk.
60  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay "Recruitment" on: May 21, 2017, 08:17:33 AM
I'm not against gays as long as they keep to themselves. How come some people can be gay and nobody apart from their family and friends know about it? I'm not going to invade their privacy and discuss their sex life. It's their life and their choice.
I'm against raging gays who parade half naked, scream for gay rights and want to teach kids at school how good it is to be gay.

I fully agree with your stance about gays. I would like to add that LGBT community at first wants the tolerance, afterwards the acceptance, and finally the admittance of straight people that what they are doing is the right thing.
