People wait and don't be in a hurry. Using the same source as OP, today this is not the case. So what someone could say?

8 MB Blocks  -         4.7%
BIP 100  -              7.2%
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: April 28, 2017, 07:58:04 AM
Not only for me but for many people bitcoin is freedom. Bitcoin is the money without asking banks give you the right if you want to spend it and where you want to do that. With bitcoin you are the bank and the customer at the same time. If all the above is not revolutionary then what is it?
143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top 5 reasons to trust Bitcoin on: April 27, 2017, 08:21:48 PM
As Snorek mentioned above to add timestamp every time you want to start to analyze one by one the reasons someone trusts the bitcoin I could add that you could add some text in your video so as people without a good knowledge of listening in English to read the main points.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of Korea's research on crypto and FIAT currency on: April 27, 2017, 07:18:40 PM
South Korea’s central bank has published a new working paper analyzing a dual-currency regime by pitting cryptocurrencies against traditional fiat currencies. Fiat currencies have been historically known to decrease continuously, the authors confirm, due to inflation and the factor of new money pumped in to the supply by the central bank, also known as quantitative easing. Bitcoin, in stark contrast, has a fixed supply which would imply a “deflationary bias”, the authors note. However, security or trust issues – the decentralization of digital currency and the absence of insurance provided by governmental authorities – may prevent digital currency from being used as a store of value. Instead, digital currency may be used as a medium of exchange dominantly.

Do you agree with this research result?

Would be interesting to give us a link, Ι believe this paper is written in English, so as to read their conclusions. But if the authors of paper support that flaw of cryptocurrency is decentralization and needs the insurance provided by governments then maybe they are joking or they are paid trolls in the payroll of the bank. As an example what the insurance of the Zimbabwe's government?
145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Japan is one of the leaders in the world in number of suicides. on: April 27, 2017, 12:41:51 PM
The Japanese are a people with a culture that many people around the world will never understand. More than 200 people lose their lives each year in Japan, among whom many suicide because are victims of Karōshi, that is the anxiety from exhaustive work as codified in Japan. As far as it concerns the young people the first day of every September is, the day with the most suicides of youngs under the age of 18 in Japan. The same day begins the second school semester. That means, like someone wrote above that starts the hunt for academic success  which also means the onset of unbearable psychological pressures.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Exchange: Yapizon is the latest victim of hackers (2017) on: April 27, 2017, 07:59:35 AM
All of these hacking incidents are not good not only for bitcoin but for any has trust them to put his money I'm waiting to learn the security leak in the measures of this exchange if they will publicize it. I don't know how many exchanges are operating worldwide but it seems to me that the rate of hacking them is increased. I wonder if the abilities of hackers have excelled or if the security measures of many exchanges are obsolete.
147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Emmanuel macron is the next President of France. on: April 27, 2017, 06:28:37 AM
Macron is considered to be the the favorite man of banks and that's the reason Holland put him as finance minister. In addition, Macron was created and supported by media and it is most likely that the socialistic France will elect him as president not because he wants him but because he does not want Le Pen.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin that is next to Bitcoin... on: April 27, 2017, 05:22:56 AM
Most of the alts around are scams or testnets. Two are the alts that stand out and I believe are besides to bitcoin. The first one is litecoin which has proved its resistance to time; launched at 2011, faster confirmation times and maybe segwit implementation. In addition monero due to the very useful features missing from bitcoin that is, the untraceability of payments and the unlinkable transactions.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to your BTC and alts if you died ? on: April 26, 2017, 04:52:48 PM
I have accumulated some Bitcoin and other alts. Most of my holdings are in a single wallet yet I have a few on different platforms and one left on an exchange. I have tried to explain this to my spouse yet there is not a full understanding. If I died I am confident that all of this would not be recovered.

This weeks project is to write an encrypted note detailing where are the holdings are and how to access them. Even with access, the knowledge is not there to be able to convert the holdings to fiat if necessary.

What is your situation ?

Maybe I am not too old but as human never knows. For me the best strategy is the most funds in a paper wallet and detailed explanation, like as a step by step guide convert to fiat using an ATM machine. Currently many countries have more than one so I believe that is a good solution in that case. The other one you must find an experienced with cryptos attorney where he will keep a copy of your testament like as your other assets.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 26, 2017, 10:28:37 AM
ETH is used as a platform of decentralized apps, programs, services and this job is doing extremely well but it is not a currency. Therefore, even though the price is increased I will not ever exchange bitcoin to buy eth. On the other side I am happy to invest some fiat to eth but as I said I can't see them as competitors but as different assets that anyone has if he wants to diversify his portfolio.
151  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free 250 satoshi weekly on: April 26, 2017, 07:38:29 AM
250 satoshis is an extremely small amount of btc. There are some other ways someone can earn this amount, not weekly but every after ten minutes, like as partaking in some reliable faucets. Imho your proposition will not find any subscribers to your app.
152  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to run my Signature ??? on: April 26, 2017, 07:28:48 AM
As I understand OP doesn't want to run his signature campaign. He wants desperately to partake in a signature campaign so as to earn some satoshis. This is the reason where he has already post in different threads like here
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAUDI Bitcoin Trading on LocalBitcoins TO THE MOON on: April 25, 2017, 08:35:05 PM
I could never imagine that the price of bitcoin would be rise when there an increase demand for bitcoins through localbitcoins in Saudi Arabia. Perhaps in the future we also see an increase in the volume of transactions in the well known exchanges. Maybe some of them convert a part of their savings in fiat to bitcoin.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto’s land leading asians to Bitcoin mass adoption? on: April 25, 2017, 12:28:40 PM
I disagree that Japan has a significant portion of population worldwide (even though is about 11th) but it well known that has a long history in everything is technologically innovative. On the other side maybe the alias of the creator seems that is Japanese but USA, some European countries and China was pioneers in bitcoin from the very early days. Of course any of these countries for their own purposes. Maybe Japan will give a good example using bitcoin more as money and less as commodity.
155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea Nuclear Missiles Bad Quality - What To Do, If They Fail During Test on: April 25, 2017, 07:22:16 AM
According to Wikipedia, North Korea have around 35 nuclear missiles with range up to 3000 km, see link here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Korea#Military. I think North Korea manufacturing quality is much lower than Chinese, so nuclear missiles bad quality can lead to wrong direction during test flights. What will do US warships in the region, if North Korea missile go in wrong direction because of manufacturing mistake ?

Of course the know-how of North Koreans would not be so advanced like as of USA and Russia. These two countries have a long history and knowledge about missile programs. This is the reason till now their tests are unsuccessful. But this is not the case because soon or later they will fix it. The problem is all of this power which is concentrated in the hands of an insane dictator.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 25, 2017, 06:59:05 AM
Now I use bitcoin for investment only. I have few coins, so I do not want to use them to buy pizza or coffee. I am hard working for them. I better leave them for the future.

I agree with your statement, that currently bitcoin is not the appropriate method for micro-transactions due to high fees. But if someone wants to buy an electronic device then why not use his bitcoins as payment? If we take as an example the Japan then this is applicable in one of the biggest electronic retailer shops
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ViaBTC finally read all the BIPs about Segwit on: April 24, 2017, 08:00:12 PM
He was posting completely nonsense and when he understood that was do it publicly he deleted it the tweet but some they had already archived it. Therefore anyone can see the following link from reddit
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have my pockets full of LTC and my home boys do too! on: April 24, 2017, 05:57:10 AM
The LTC has some good features (some time around, quick confirmations and good algo) and it deserved to have a better price. Probably someone would not get it for long time as saving with btc,  but it is one of best altcoins. If segwit succeeds the price will skyrocket.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: April 23, 2017, 11:54:17 AM
On March 8th, Cheollima Civil Defense(CCD) released a video on its website claiming:” Han Sol, the son of Kim Jong Nam, and two other family members were met quickly and relocated to safety. “ And they receive bitcoin for financial support. This is something nice to do. BUt what if bitcoin be used to support some bad organizations, even terrorists? Is this already happening?  What i am worrying is if bitcoin be widely used for bad things, negative news would be all over and bitcoin price will drop. It will lead to tougher regulation. Do u think world leaders are willing to kill btc to make sure they can fight terrirists?

Let say that Han Sol was using gold instead of bitcoin, and may be he has some, do we say, now, that gold is used to support terrorism? Nobody could support something like that because rest of the people would laugh with him; Therefore, it's only rumors so as people to be convinced that crypto currencies are used only for illegal activities.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Central Banks Losing Control? on: April 22, 2017, 06:05:32 PM
It is a fact that banks lose the control because of this they have launched a war against the cash using a variety of reasons. This can be seen at an international level with the recent example of India. In essence, what they want is not be circulated money outside the banking system. The explanation is simple; A bank account is essentially nothing but a promise of money which that they(banks) can refuse if they consider it appropriate.
