It’s valued because people are willing to pay for it. Since it doesn’t bring anything to the table, however, I don’t expect it to hold it’s value for that long.

And if you really want to run your wallet through Tor just use Electrum.

I agree with you in the sense that I’d never expect Ethereum to go to zero, but there are defiantly bad times to buy into it; and seeing it’s been pump a lot recently I don’t know if it will hit a dump or not.

I just checked the price, it’s currently at 135$. That's 3x what is was just weeks ago, although I can’t say I wasn’t expecting it. I’m just glad my bag was full.

Probably, that’s what all the signs are pointing to right now, although it’s already been getting pumped a lot so I’m not 100% sure that it will continue for all that long until it stabilizes a bit.

Yea, after stabilizing at a lower price I'm sure that CLOAK is ripe for another big pump or so; and if the CLOAK team gets more hype going then that would probably do it some good.

Perhaps this will help boost Monero's price a bit as people get more and more paranoid. Or they could just claim a gain when they sell Bitcoin and not have to fear that the IRS knows how much bitcoin they own.

Did I just read this right? I understand why somebody might say stay away from Litecoin, but when you’re talking about cryptocurrency investments and somebody says “stay the hell away from Bitcoin,” then I generally don’t take them seriously.

Yobit (yobit.net/en) and Cryptopia (cryptopia.co.nz) are two popular places to to buy CLOAK (I personally prefer Yobit), although any exchange that handles cloak will do.

I’m thinking that LISK has had it’s run and now it’s going to just slowly sputter out. Not worth investing into in my opinion.
*Edit: Guess I was wrong, I just checked LISK on coinmarketcap and found that in the last few days it has hit another pump.

It seems to have been sitting at around 45$ for a while, so I do think that Litecoin is probably going to get a boost at some point thus I would recommend investing a little bit. However you'd probably be just as well of just HODLing Bitcoin, so this would be more of a diversification than a strait up investment.

I'm glad to see this, seeing a bought at 0.28$ and then just figured I was going to just have to eat a loss. Just sold half my bag and I'll hold onto the other half and see where this goes.

Unfortunately nowadays unless you have a lot of money to invest into your mining farm and cheap electricity it's really not worth it to try mining for a profit.
That is, unless you want to try to mine a new altcoin and hope it increases in value.

Yea, I think we are due for a pump similar to the one we got earlier this year. I just really wish I filled my bag more @ 30$ instead if waiting until it hit around 50$. Oh well, still a profit.

My general rule of thumb is that a coin that gets a huge pump but then gets dumped and stays at a lower price for a while will end up getting a pump about 60ish% of the first one, and then after that it's more or less "dead" until the developers step in and provide some hype or updates. I'm expecting CLOAK to hit that second pump soon and then after that the developers may step in again.

Recently Ethereum hit a huge pump, followed by a big dump, and then a pump again. I’m not sure if it’ll continue to go up or not, but I do have a feeling that it’s not going to stay where it’s at. I’d recommend just waiting and seeing where it goes.

It did get pumped a lot and now it seems to have stabled out at a much lower price, so I'm sure that we'll be getting some sort of a pump again soon. If there’s anybody on the fence about buying, I’d advise buying in.
