681  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A few questions about Perfect Money on: April 03, 2017, 08:45:02 PM
Perfect Money is international service, AFAIK there is not problems for people from US to use the service.
From PM ToS 1.25 Use of Perfect Money system by US citizens and permanent residents is strictly prohibited. System reserves the right to block the registrations originating from the USA or from US citizens located abroad due to local laws and regulations. Any individual or company suspected of submitting false/misleading information with purpose of hiding US location or affiliation may be subject to account block with no prior warning.
Thanks for the response. I hadn't gotten around to reading their terms of service, but I probably won't be registering an account with them then now I know they don't want US citizens using them.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Comeback 2017? on: April 03, 2017, 08:28:45 PM
Well, it seems that LiteCoin is already 8 plus dollars at the moment. It was always so stable, then out of nowhere it's doubled in value. I hope people are adopting LiteCoin, although it's probably just a fluctuation that'll correct itself. Lets see where this goes.
683  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: April 02, 2017, 09:03:51 PM
Have you read her leaked emails that wikileaks released? If you have read the leaked emails then you would know for sure that she is not, in any way, trustworthy.
684  Economy / Service Discussion / A few questions about Perfect Money, Solid Trust Pay, & Payeer on: April 02, 2017, 07:20:41 PM
I’ve seen a lot of people using Perfect Money on these forums, so I think I’m going to register an account with them to use when I trade on these forums. Anyway, for users who have used them, think you could answer a few questions for me:

The domain is perfectmoney.is, right?
Have you had any issues with them, and if so, how easily were they resolved?
Should I bother with verifying my account or should I just leave it unverified?
Would there be any issues since I’m in the US and they’re in Panama?
Is there anything I should know before I make an account that I might not know?

Please excuse my paranoia  Wink, thanks.

*Edit:
Thanks to a few nice users I've found that since I am a US citizen I'm not allowed to register for a Perfect Money account, however I've been referred to SolidTrust Pay and Peyeer.
685  Other / Off-topic / Re: This scientist re-wires frogs to grow extra limbs. Could it work in humans? on: April 02, 2017, 07:11:56 PM
I can not imagine that this experiment will help to grow people's feet. Assume the possibility of this action is also not possible, because the time of development of the frog's organism is much less than that of a person.
It might, think of it like experimenting on rats; they may be very different than people, but it allows scientists to begin experimentation until it is somewhat safe before they try on people (or more person like animals like monkeys or pigs).
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sleeping giant is awakening?? LTC back to $50 now ?? on: April 02, 2017, 07:07:24 PM
iamnotback, so is it the good time to buy some LTC for holding? or can we expect a little correction now?
Yea, I’m kind of wondering the same thing. I have no idea if it will start going back down or continue going up; and I’m thinking I’ll either buy or dump soon. Any advice?
687  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's Job Approval Rating on: April 02, 2017, 07:05:06 PM
The Liberals are almost willing to let the country burn just to show that Trump is incompetent. The real blame should go to the DNC, They are the reason Trump won in the first place. But since most Americans are shallow minded they choose to disregard that and continue with their annoying demonstrations, They should face the facts they lost and they need some restructuring in their party.
I think that voting for Trump was a protest. Just before you teach the opponents of this old fool you have to learn to protest correctly. I hope that Americans will not tolerate Trump all 4 years and he will be suspended early.
Hey, I would just like to point out the fact that if Trump leaves early (whether he resigns, gets impeached, or dies), then Mike Pence would become president. If you hate Trump then I’m sure you’d hate Pence.
688  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Error when signing message on: April 02, 2017, 06:58:14 PM
I seem to be unable to sign a message with Electrum (Windows, Version 2.7.12). I go to the “Addresses” tab, right click on the address, choose “Sign/Verify Message” and enter the message, only to get “(False, 0)”. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a bug? I’m using an imported private key if that makes a difference.

# Release 2.7.13
* fix message signing with imported keys

Hopefully that will fix my problem, I will defiantly update Electrum soon. Thanks for the reply :P.

690  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Country In The World For Living And Working - India, Colombia etc. on: April 02, 2017, 12:58:12 AM
well you cant say that india is a bad country to live in .the media has always shown the down side of india but in my defence you r mind will totally change when you visit the new developed parts of bangalore ,gurgaon, kolkata. it is totally different and it is a well planned city to live in and this country has a lot of cultural heritage and beauty allover which you cant never get all over the globe.
That is a very good point. Look at the United States; by only looking the Chicago you could probably make the US look like a war torn country, but if you only look at the California hills the US looks like a country of millionaires.
691  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Please help me understand the no border ideology on: April 02, 2017, 12:55:15 AM
The Border isn't really about the mexicans out, Look it here if the mexicans are able to come into the USA with such ease, It will be only a matter of time when Terrorists and Islamic radicals who wants to harm the USA turn their eyes towards that place. Its only a miracle there has not been a mass exodus from these terrorists. Its unfortunate that it will be a detriment to hardworking mexicans who want to work and make a better living for themselves.
I completely agree with you. Probably there are no more hardworking people than the Mexicans. America will lose a lot because of bans for this people. Just need to distinguish and separate the working people from criminals.

And I really don't think that many criminals are itching at the bits to come over here as well, for the record. Why leave one of the most corrupt police systems in the world, and come to the US, to commit crimes? So much easier to be a criminal in a place where you speak the language, know the cops, and the cops are on the take. Over here, a Mexican criminal is likely to be stopped for,  well, being Mexican.
Most illegal immigrants didn't come to be criminals, but since you can't (legally) work as an illegal immigrant a lot to end up living a life of crime.

Quote
Over here, a Mexican criminal is likely to be stopped for,  well, being Mexican.
Also, here in the US you’re not going to be stopped for being of a certain nationality or skin color; you are only stopped if you have committed a crime (or if you’re suspected of committing a crime, also coming here illegally is a crime).
692  Other / Off-topic / Re: April Fools Badges on: April 01, 2017, 08:54:52 PM
These badges are you cool, let see what you've got.

P.S. Mine is the best  Cool
Ahhh, I was wondering what those icons under my name were and why I got them; I guess this explains that. Lets see here, I got a Tether badge, a LiteCoin badge, and a ViaCoin badge.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe we are under a big troll job by whales and miners on: April 01, 2017, 08:45:21 PM
There has always been price manipulation by traders (as far as I'm aware of it is mainly the Chinese). Price instability make traders money, but as bitcoin matures and becomes more stable and adopted it should be less open to price manipulation.

I do, however, think op is exaggerating and we are not being manipulated that much.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to buy about 20$ worth of Litecoin on: April 01, 2017, 08:28:40 PM
Hey, so I've just ended up buying Bitcoin on coinbase an I'll get my Litecoin via either Poloniex or btc-e. I am locking this thread now as I no longer need Litecoin exchanged.
695  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gold vs. Bitcoin investment on: March 31, 2017, 02:39:44 PM
what would you choose ?
I'd choose bitcoin as my investment and gold as a storage of value. Gold doesn’t fluctuate much, so it is kind of hard to make an investment with it. On the other hand bitcoin is to unstable to store savings in, but it makes a great investment/
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sleeping giant is awakening?? LTC back to $50 now ?? on: March 31, 2017, 02:33:42 PM
...
you know what if i really want "silver" i would use fucking DOGEcoin much better silver than LTC.
...

He he, that is funny. Oh wait you’re serious? I guess everybody’s entitled to their own opinion.

I’ll stick to LiteCoin as a backup coin. It’s really due for a pump.
697  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's Job Approval Rating on: March 31, 2017, 02:02:42 PM
It has been already established that the mainstream media is not capable of gauging the mood of the US voters, as proved by their disastrous opinion polls for the POTUS elections. So even if the media is showing 35% support for Trump, I believe that the real number is somewhere around 45%.

The approval ratings doesnt show the totality of the population it is just a mere random sampling from different sectors of the society. The survey could also be biased and was manipulated by the poll host who are being influenced also by the Clintons party. They are really doing their job to destroy the president of America, instead of criticizing him just help him to make good laws for the sake of America.

I would like to point out the fact that the people who are saying he has a 35% approval rating are the same people who hate his guts (mainly the liberal media). They did predict that he was going to lose by a lot, and look how much he won by, so I have difficulty trusting the same polls now. Not to mention the fact that those polls are biased as hell.

You poor fools have really fallen for Trump's, "Everything I don't like is fake news" claim

First, Gallop is a polling agency, not "mainstream media"

Gallop is the MOST TRUSTED POLLING AGENCY ON THE PLANET...

Gallop does not do "random sampling"... polling is extremely specific as to who gets polled... it must have exact percentages of each demographic

Gallop is not biased in favor of Republicans or Democrats... that's conspiracy theory nonsense (watch Alex Jones much?)

The only real way to manipulate a poll like this would be to phrase the question in a strange way... which was NOT done here

The actual number is 35% (+/- 3%, at 95% confidence)... that's how science works... that's how polling has always worked

If you don't know fuck-all about polling or science, keep your cum-dumpster shut
I have a feeling you're a Trump hater.

Anyway those polls that have a "+/- 3%, at 95% confidence" accuracy said Trump would lose very badly, and yet he won by a long shot. Now, why exactly should I believe those polls now?

Also I should clarify, not all media (or polling agencies) are liberal (not even in my book), but if you read CNN or MSN you can get a feel for how "Liberal" and dishonest some media is; even including blatantly lying about Trump. If you don't think that those places "hate his guts" or are "biased as hell" then perhaps you need to take a closer look.

Last, I don't blindly follow Trump. There were times (especially in the beginning of his campaign) when I was thinking he had no idea what he was doing; and he still doesn't have me sold that Obama was wiretapping him (there were other related issues with wiretapping that have been proven true, but there's no evidence Obama actually had anything to do with it).
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sleeping giant is awakening?? LTC back to $50 now ?? on: March 30, 2017, 07:00:38 PM
I dunno, LiteCoin is defiantly due for a pump, and I’d like to see it get a boost. If I had to take a guess, I’d guess it will get pumped to 80$ then fall back to 60$, although I have no reason other than a gut feeling. Lets see where this goes, and hope it goes “To the moon!”
699  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there anything I can do to locate traces of a hacker? on: March 30, 2017, 06:51:20 PM
My computer was hacked and I know the exact day it happened. I lost all of my data due to this and my coins  Cry

Is there a way to check for traces the hacker might have left on my system or any of the tracks he may have left behind?

My os is windows 7 64bit and I had no firewall or antivirus protection.

How would one go about this?
I think the closest you could get would be to try to find out what IP the hacker had (try contacting your ISP, they might be able to help), although he probably used a VPN and/or TOR. Otherwise, as far as I'm aware of, no you can't really track a hacker at all. Of course I could be wrong (and for your sake I hope I am wrong), good luck.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the next %1000'er? on: March 30, 2017, 04:10:00 PM
Forget %100, let's get rich.

What's the next %1000 increase coin?

We saw Bitcoin Plus go %3000, so what stops the whales megapumping another coin? If it was done once then it can be done again.

Will it be LTC? another one? let's find out.
Probably a tiny, very unstable scamcoin. Like @MirkoIta pointed out, you can’t really pump a reliable coin up thousands of times it’s original worth. Nevertheless, I do see LiteCoin and Monero getting their fair share of a pump soon.
