381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [SELL] Bitcoin- and Blockchain-related books on: September 06, 2017, 12:31:29 AM
You sell only PDF or printed books too?

Hi Flodner, just PDF - no printed books.
So you're selling pirated books, right? Scammer.

I don't get you. Am I a scammer because I am selling books in PDF that you wrongly assumed I pirated? If you mean with pirated that I downloaded them in a shady way, you are on the wrong path. I paid for them. Nobody asks you to buy these books from me. Just go to Amazon or whatever and buy them here if you want to read them.

Scammer is who tries to get your money deceivingly. I am giving books for one tenth the price. You don't want them? Cool, just don't come here and call me scammer because I sell books when out there there are people stealing MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

I will give you a 1% discount if you want. Peace.
You bought 1 copy and now you're trying to sell copies of the file as if you wrote those books. You're scamming the authors by taking money that should go to them. That's also pirating since your copying and distributing the book in a way not permitted. That is unless, of course, you own the copyrights to the books or have permission to resell the books (which I'm sure you don't).

If you do own the rights to the books (and can prove it) than I do owe you an apology, but I have a striking suspicion that you're pirating the books.

383  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Safe way to sell Bitcoin and transfer funds back to a UK account on: September 05, 2017, 04:13:09 PM
I've been using Coinbase to buy Bitcoin and Bittrex to trade, but now would like to sell some and transfer to a UK bank account. I've looked into various options such as Uphold, LocalBitcoins, CoinsBank, and others, but when I look at reviews for these websites they are not good and don't appear to be 100% safe. Does anyone know a safe way to sell and transfer the funds back to a UK bank account?
If it's anything like the US, just use Coinbase (don't worry, it's safe) to sell your BTC for USD/EURO and then transfer it to your bank account. Just remember to claim any gains when filing your taxes.
384  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $500 btc for sale on: September 05, 2017, 04:11:16 PM
$500 btc for sale

My rate : 1:1

I need paypal, You can send me as g/s
Seriously? In order to get people to trade with you since you have only 24 posts and red trust you'd need to first prove that you have the BTC and then use an escrow. Otherwise just forget it.
385  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: MY cash $$$ to yours BTC in NY on: September 05, 2017, 04:07:18 PM
Hi bros)

ONLY for NY citizens.

So, I have some cash about 3-10k per day, I need BTC.
for example,
my 10300 $ to yours 10000$ in BTC by rate bitfinex or poloniex ect.
if somebody want to make deal - PM me plz.
I take it you're in NYC and not Western New York. If you were nearby me I'd almost be tempted to meet you in person and exchange like Local Bitcoins.
Anyway, how exactly were you planning on paying?
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 05, 2017, 03:06:29 PM
Bitcoin really fails as safe haven.
How can we call it safe when it isn't that private.
In 5 to 10 years from now, I believe Monero will be the safest haven and will be treated like gold in the old days.  Cool
Quote

No cryptocurrency will work as a safe haven against war/disaster, none of them will work if we lose power and internet. Otherwise Bitcoin would work just as well as Monero, it would just be more traceable.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: September 05, 2017, 01:19:39 PM
It’s nice to see an update and that the developers are back at it, this should quit down a few of the nay-sayers for now. Perhaps after the entire market goes from red to green we’ll see a nice little boost.

sorry, still not excited over "testing" and hearing for the 50th time that open source is coming. i'll move on now since everyone has tunnel vision.
What part of that post made you think I was talking about open sourcing? I was talking about people who though the developers were inactive.

I didn't even mention software licensing at all in that post...
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 05, 2017, 01:10:28 PM
ETH is fucked with the ICO ban, the market will get interesting for the rest of the week I am sure. some big big winners and some massive losers.
Wait, what? I guess I'm not in the know this time, mind explaining the ICO ban to me?
389  Economy / Services / Re: Snapup - Signature and Avatar Campaign - Members to Legendaries on: September 05, 2017, 12:54:46 PM
This campaign has ended.Participants may remove their signatures now
Okay, I'm removing my signature now, although I'm yet to receive my last payment. For reference this post is #525 of mine.

On a side note I'm actually pretty interested in the Snapup business model, so if it goes well I'll might be a regular customer. It was a great opportunity to actually support something via a sig campaign that I'm actually excited to see launched.

THE "DEATH-KNELL" HAS (FINALLY) SOUNDED...

These trolls have gotten so lazy they can’t even put any effort into making it seem like they have an argument.   Roll Eyes
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: September 03, 2017, 09:16:38 PM
buy cloak before its goes to 60 usd
when will that happen any information or basis or its just your owned speculation, just wondering how long this project was and people keeps coming in
wondering when the coin will really move up and continue to make more progress to gain bigger support,.

Don't listen to him, he's our village idiot, provides the aggravation factor here. Would be nice though!  Grin
Not that I’m expecting it any time soon, but on a more long term scale 60 dollars a CLOAK would be plausible. Look at how fast Litecoin, Ethereum, Monero, and DASH gained value.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: From windfall to altcoin: Help me pick one altcoin each week on: September 02, 2017, 04:16:07 PM
The first thing I’d recommend is to not rely only on random people from the internet when it comes to making investments. Otherwise I’d recommend starting out with some “safe” investments like: LTC, ETH, DASH, XMR, or ETC.

Once you’ve diversified then with a few “safer” investments then I’d recommend:
CLOAK (due for a pump)
PosW (risky, but will probably either go very low or hit a big pump soon)
Golem & Waves (both seem to have a good looking future, but no guarantees)
PeerCoin (seems stable)

But remember, do your own research. Good Luck.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 02, 2017, 04:06:37 PM
I am a little bit disapointed. Finally nothing happens. Yet. Maybe later...
I don't know what to do...
Nothing happened? We just went from 50$ to 150$ in a week or so. If that’s “nothing” then I can’t imagine what “something” would be.
That is, not to even mention the upcoming hard fork.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: August 31, 2017, 04:52:55 PM
One month before somebody compare Cloak with Monero but Monero is after 1 month 3x up but Cloak 4x down  Huh What the hell...
Cloak up 10x since May, Monero only 3x
Monero is a much more "mature" coin, so it's really hard to compare CLOAKs growth with Monero. Either way, I'm glad to see their both on the upswing.

I’m also glad to hear the CLOAK developers are back.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 31, 2017, 04:47:15 PM
Speculation:  There will be XMR billionaires by the end of next year.  Wrap your hear around THAT one.
I wouldn’t go that far. I mean even if it quadrupled in price (hitting 600$) then in order for somebody to be a billionaire then they’d need to be holding 250 million dollars worth of Monero. Even if it went 1 thousand times you'd still need a million worth of XMR to become a billionaire.
397  Economy / Services / Re: Snapup - Signature and Avatar Campaign - Members to Legendaries on: August 30, 2017, 04:27:59 PM
Payment received, thanks!
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 30, 2017, 04:27:24 PM
So happy Monero finally is starting to show its real potential. Have been a HODLer since $4, unfortunately I bought only a few at the time. I think Monero belongs in the #3 market cap spot, wonder how long it will be before the market realizes that?
Well, I do think it has already jumped up a few slots in the past week or so, which must mean it’s already gotten some recognition. Now let’s hope it just keeps going up.

The current price is 128$.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What other anonymous coins there. As monero? on: August 30, 2017, 04:23:36 PM
Anybody noticing the pattern that the only people bashing Monero or recommending deeponion coin have a paid deepoinon coin signature? Just a thought.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain the value of DeepOnion coin? on: August 30, 2017, 04:17:54 PM
Although the price of that coin is very manipulated it seems like the people that want to purchase DeepOnion have a specific goal for their purchases. Then again it could be only the team purchasing the coins within those places that are listing the coin because they did get a bunch of money through their dontations.
I’m not going to get any DeepOnion coin right now because they price is just too high for a coin that just been released and the people that purchase the coin right now have a high chance of losing money if there was an error in their system.
I wasn’t saying people weren't buying Deeponion coin, as I’m sure most all of the purchases are done as an investment like most altcoins.

My point was just that because Deeponion coin doesn’t have anything to bring to the table it’ll probably lose it’s hype soon and then people will stop investing, causing a dump.
