701  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Country In The World For Living And Working - India, Colombia etc. on: March 30, 2017, 03:50:01 PM
There are many countries in the world, where it is very hard to live and work. Top 5 worst country for working and living - India, Colombia, Brazil, Albania, Russia. India is exceptionally bad country, even drinking water can be dangerous for health and also those stupid questions - how you like India everywhere with money asking all around from tourists.
While those places are probably very bad to live in, would think it would be worse to live in places like North Korea, or war torn countries in the Middle East/Africa. Of course I've never been to any of them, so I can't say for sure.
702  Other / Off-topic / Re: This scientist re-wires frogs to grow extra limbs. Could it work in humans? on: March 30, 2017, 03:32:07 PM
Could they? Probably, at least after some more research. Should they? NO. I think science goes to far once they start messing with genes and altering your body parts like that. At least that’s my opinion.
703  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Please help me understand the no border ideology on: March 30, 2017, 03:28:32 PM
This political ideology is gaining a lot of supporters. I need to understand the advantages and problems that such a world conception carry. I would like to know why some support and what would some gain of it and what would other lose. Thank you in advance, my aim is to have an open minded honnest discussion on the topic.

My current understanding, i hope that you wil be able to enlighten me on other perspectives and facts i don't see.

Positive i guess that the ideal of universal right to establish oneself where ever is interesting. Increase mobility opportunity, job seeking and competition opportunity, a more diverse cultural field and less restrictions.

Negative, i see that most breed like invasive species, slums and unsanitary living conditions expanding, security risks, the loss of cultural homogenity, most third world places got there because of their values what would prevent them to impose those everywhere they get dominance, the overcrowding of civilised places, lack of infrastructure and living spaces, the drop of job wages, the collapse of social and public services, the spread of roamers and bandits tribes.

Your turn...

Btw 5billions people have less average income than mexicans... it's a lot.
Generally, liberal politicians support it because first world countries will be swamped with immigrants that vote liberal, totally wiping out conservatives. Businesses support is because they can import/export more, having more work done overseas and avoid taxes. Everybody else who wants it usually either wants it because they feel bad for people in need, or they just want their liberal politicians to succeed even if it costs us jobs and security.
704  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's Job Approval Rating on: March 30, 2017, 03:20:28 PM
http://www.gallup.com/poll/201617/gallup-daily-trump-job-approval.aspx

35%... that's super low

How low?  Only 5 presidents have had a lower approval rating at *any point during their presidency* (Nixon, Carter, Truman, Bush Sr, Bush Jr)

1/4 of his own party doesn't approve of the job he has been doing

Vladimir Putin has an approval rating of 80%... Putin's *lowest* rating was 60% (nearly double Trump's current approval rating)
I would like to point out the fact that the people who are saying he has a 35% approval rating are the same people who hate his guts (mainly the liberal media). They did predict that he was going to lose by a lot, and look how much he won by, so I have difficulty trusting the same polls now. Not to mention the fact that those polls are biased as hell.

Also, I wouldn't trust the Russian media to much. I'm not sure Putin really has an 80% approval rating (then again I don't know much about Russian politics other that a relatively biased documentary or two that I've watched), as the Russian media might be either making him look good, artificially boosting his approval rating; or just flat out lying about it.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 30, 2017, 03:01:56 PM
What is your opinion guys, what are the odds of reaching ATH in terms of bitcoins? In fiat it is trivial assuming the price of Monero stays at current trading range but that is more thanks to the coming rise of bitcoin rather than the strength of Monero.
In my opinion, the odds are not that good but I am interested your opinions..
I feel like that at some point soon Monero will receive a sudden increase in value like DASH and Ethereum. I have no idea when or how much, and I could be completely wrong, but my gut feeling is that it'll start to rise soon.
706  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Is there a list of Irreversible bitcoin transaction methods? on: March 30, 2017, 02:54:35 PM
im talking about cash.  there are loopholes that people can exploit to get deposit back

not gonna elaborate publicly
In 5+ years, I haven't had one cash transaction go bad. If you get a cash transaction to the bank reversed, it's because you didn't ask the bitcoin buyer to send a receipt stating that it's in cash ..

but it may just be an American thing where the banks would reverse a cash deposit.
No, I’m pretty sure that American banks only reverse a Wire/Deposit after a court orders them to do so. I think @Boombastic77 is either referring to that or just plain screwing with us.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Places Where I can Direct Buy LTC for FIAT using a Credit Card or Bank Account on: March 30, 2017, 02:47:24 PM
I don’t get why you have to buy directly for litecoin, I mean even if the bitcoin is totally dead for you than just buy btc with your credit card and just exchange it to litecoin, you won’t hold any btc longer than 30 minutes I suppose, still the easiest and most trustworthy way of getting litecoin is through bitcoin if you ask me.
I believe @kiklo is sick of the slow transaction confirmations and high transaction fees. While this is very possible I think he posted this thread hoping there is a way he can avoid doing this.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash price prediction on: March 29, 2017, 08:01:01 PM
I feel like ZCash just continue to lose value until it crashes and burns. There were a lot of pissed off people after the huge dump; coupled with the fact that ZCash is closed source and you've got a coin that a lot of people hate and most others are not convinced it's worth investing in. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I just don't see it going anywhere.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Comeback 2017? on: March 29, 2017, 07:54:18 PM
I'd like to see LiteCoin do well and begin to rise like some of the other altcoins. I do wonder if lightcoin will get a boost with the congestion of Bitcoin's network. Perhaps it will also receive some adoption as Bitcoin begins to get it. Lets hope for the best and see where this goes.
710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convert cash to bitcoin anonymously? on: March 29, 2017, 07:37:09 PM
I understand that no method will ever be completely anonymous, but there seems to be a complete lack of even close to anonymous options to buy bitcoin. For example, stuff like OKpay or PerfectMoney need your personal details and verification.
Things like wire transfer and Paypal mean other people and companies get to know your name.

So HOW do you do it? (don't say prepaid cards since those aren;t available everywhere.
Buying/Cashing out anonymously, that's always a tricky thing to do. Your best would be to do a P2P trade; try friends, Local Bitcoins, or the currency conversion section of this forum. Good luck :]
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be bitcoin's final obituary? on: March 29, 2017, 02:26:33 PM
Mom often says that:Nothing is immortal, just live in the moment. If this is true, what would be bitcoin's final death?
(i don't wanna see it happen, but let's be honest, ever since bitcoin was born, it has been rumored to die.At least 100 times)
It's kind of hard for Bitcoin to totally die thanks to the blockchain being decentralized, however it could lose a lot of it's value. I guess we'll see where it goes, although I expect (and hope) it will do well.

Also, there will always be FUDs claiming it will die. Lets just hope they are wrong Smiley
712  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ignore list of mass paid signature advertisement users (4200+ users) on: March 29, 2017, 01:40:38 PM
Quote
I could go back and highlight every time I've mentioned this campaign is about "mass" signature advertising (it even says it in your quote [it even says it in the thread title]). So disagree without opposition; you are correct as my signature is an advertisement. If you disagree and believe that my signature is mass paid advertising... well... copy my list and add me to it then I guess.

And to your second point... I guess we'll just have to disagree. Maybe re-read the first FAQ question and answer.
I understand what you're saying, I was just pointing out the fact I disagree with this list. Obviously you can disagree with me, no hard feelings. See ya around.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Places Where I can Direct Buy LTC for FIAT using a Credit Card or Bank Account on: March 29, 2017, 01:26:21 AM
You could try Changelly (changelly.com), they allow the purchase of most Altcoins with a MasterCard/Visa. If you didn't want to do that you could probably buy Bitcoin on Coinbase (they don't charge a transaction fee) and then send the BTC immediately to an exchange (I'd recommend BTC-e.com) and convert it to LTC. Last, you could probably use the currency conversion section of this forum and pay with something like Paypal or Skrill.

I hope these helped.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Looking to buy about 20$ worth of Litecoin on: March 29, 2017, 01:15:07 AM
As the title says, I'm looking to buy about 20$ worth of Litcoin. I have Paypal, Skrill, and Goldmoney, although I'd prefer Paypal only because it's the only one of the three that I currently have a balance on (I can get money onto Skrill or Goldmoney, it would just add another step for me to take). I'm looking to pay about 22-24$ USD in exchange. Escrow is a must unless you're a very trusted member, we'll split any escrow fees.
715  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Is there a list of Irreversible bitcoin transaction methods? on: March 29, 2017, 01:03:35 AM
Wire transfers are very secure.  Can't think of an instance in which one of them have been reversed.
Here in the United States a Wire Transfer (or any other bank related exchange of cash) can be reversed by a court order (assuming the money ended up in a US account), however since it requires a court order it would probably be extremely hard for a Bitcoin exchange scammer to scam you of your money.

I'm not sure about it, but I'd guess that courts of other nations can probably do similar things.
716  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: March 29, 2017, 12:42:13 AM
so i wanna know do i realy have to pay taxes on bitcoins and does my gov recognize bitcoins as my property and do i have to care about any legal action by  gov on my bitcoin property ?
Here in the United States Bitcoin is classified as an “asset” meaning there are no taxes for receiving Bitcoin, however you are taxed when you exchange Bitcoin for USD.

Of course it varies from country to country, and OP didn’t state where he’s from.

718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DASH] Dash Price and Trade Discussion Thread on: March 28, 2017, 11:39:54 PM
How much do you get from one masternode a day?

USD
https://dash-news.de/dashtv/#curr=USD&value=1000

EURO
https://dash-news.de/dashtv/#curr=EUR&value=1000

curr=USD, EUR, CNY, GBP, CAD, RUB, HKD, JPY, AUD, CHF, PLN
value=customDashAmount (1000 for 1 masternode, 2000 for 2 masternodes etc)

Note : this does exclude server costs, a server cost about 10$ per month to rent. Also the masternode owner
will be required to maintain and update its rented server both with regards to an updated Dash version and to
possible security updates for its Linux OS.
That's a lot of money for a masternode, I can't imagine what the developers are making from their mastermodes......
719  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal to keep the forum clean of BU/SW/Fork/Split/... topics on: March 25, 2017, 01:21:11 AM
As much as they may clog up the forum, I don't like the idea of limiting the allowed topics. Once we ban one topic what's next?
720  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ignore list of mass paid signature advertisement users (4200+ users) on: March 25, 2017, 01:11:13 AM
Q: What about your signature, is that not an advertisement?
A: Yes my signature is an advertisement for my business. I am the only user on this forum with this signature, thus it is not mass paid signature advertising.

.............

I can't say for certain all these listed users have low quality posts and topics, but as a whole they're near worthless.

I guess this is where we disagree. First I see no difference between your signature and a signature campaign, both are advertisements that you stand to gain from. Second, I heavily disagree with the later statement. There are plenty of people who post very high quality posts who also get compensated from signature campaigns. At some point I'll probably join a signature campaign so I can get a few pennies to do something I'm doing for free now, and thus I'll probably be blocked soon enough. See you, well never 'cause I'm probably going to be blocked right after you read this post.
