21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin and have been using Coinbase only. on: October 10, 2021, 08:32:43 AM
Better start learning how to use a hardware wallet because you're going to be needing that and at the same time you're going to be much safer when that happens, not to mention that you're using Coinbase which got recently attacked by hackers.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I predict stricter regulations for bitcoin and the cryptospace for 2021-2024 on: October 09, 2021, 06:12:52 AM
And Philippines is also starting to level up in their crypto regulations as well:
And for the worse, their doing something that's not going to benefit a lot of people in the crypto community, have you heard of the taxes that they're planning to put in action? Another one that's scarier is their even making the online payment app transactions taxable.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the money in the world entered the cryptocurrency market? on: October 09, 2021, 02:50:08 AM
If all of the base money in the world ($29 trillion) is replaced by Bitcoin, then a bitcoin will be worth about $1.4 million in today's dollars.
Is this for real? That's all the money that the world has right now? Is this the final number with the lost paper money and coins and the decommissioned currency? Also, how did you come up with the price that bitcoin has when all the money is invested in it?
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you explain the October pump? on: October 09, 2021, 01:10:01 AM
It's unusual, that's the only explanation there is, October is supposed to be a really bad month for crypto but it seems that people seems to be so positive about this month which could be a good indicator to be cautious in treading the market as it can be a trap.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Challenge with small investment in bitcoin on: October 09, 2021, 12:32:37 AM
You just set up a good future investment plan and strategy through Bitcoin which is a favourable idea that will end up paying bountifully. Very soon you will see a mega result.
Any small-dollar investment in Bitcoin today might turn out big tomorrow. So be calm and patient while you hodl
To set up an investment plan, you're going to probably need a lot of money to make sure that you're going to have a good investment plan, plus putting all your money in bitcoin isn't the optimal option to do since there's volatility in the market.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: October 09, 2021, 12:04:04 AM
One of the reasons which people may not see is that accepting Bitcoin exposes you to more customers. If I want to buy a product and I see two stores, I'd rather patronize the guy who accepts Bitcoin. Maybe because I don't have enough cash, maybe because I find it credible that he is promoting Bitcoin, but somehow, I patronize that store.
That is if there's more people there that uses bitcoin, what would happen if you're living in a poverty stricken area in your city? That's unlikely that people there are using crypto as a primary currency and they might not even know how it works.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin(Cryptocurrencies) is a social movement? on: October 08, 2021, 04:06:19 PM
I think this forum is enough as a form of organization, if we were to stray far from that, we will end up not following the essence of what bitcoin is, which is decentralization.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL to 100K movement on: October 08, 2021, 03:21:00 PM
I don't see the point in buying fiat with Bitcoin.

Paying for something, sure, but just converting Bitcoin to fiat to keep the fiat?, makes no sense to me.
Well, a man's got to eat and no matter how much you love bitcoin if you can't use it for daily transaction, it's going to be useless. Now if it was that way, then probably there's a chance that it's stupid to convert back to fiat but no, we aren't there yet so you don't get to say how people do things.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi about to show up? on: October 08, 2021, 02:48:20 PM
If Satoshi would show up, he should have done it before and not now where everything would be controversial. As for me, he's living a quiet and peaceful life and he could donate silently if he wants. Satoshi doesn't need to prove anything anymore because he has done a lot already.
Dude, don't be a douche and tell Satoshi what to do, you're saying that because you're envious of what Satoshi has so you want him to donate. Also, what's the point of showing up now and risk having the prices drop because you're not the person that they expect you to be behind the mask.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome to Uptoberfest on: October 08, 2021, 10:53:48 AM
~~~
No there isn't. In fact, October is usually a bad month for the stock market. See:
October: The Month of Market Crashes?
What he says has no scientific basis. When we talk about regularities in financial asset prices, we are on a slippery slope, because the supposed regularities we see in the past can always change in the future. They are not like the regularities of the orbits of the planets.
And even less can we draw conclusions about supposed regularities in the case of an asset that has as short a history as Bitcoin.
I knew it, there's definitely something wrong with that claim so I did ask the right questions after all. That's probably the reason why some analysts think that the 57k pump of bitcoin was a bull trap. Probably we can have some supporting evidence that October's definitely not the year.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome to Uptoberfest on: October 08, 2021, 10:19:45 AM
its been said on some threads that septermber is always the bear months even on stock market. october is also said to be the opposite of it.
hope to see this bulrun will continue til december after all the US regulation is already losen up and FED has no plans to ban.  and institutions are back in buying up.
Is there any supporting data that this month is the bull month for each year for both crypto and stock market? It seems to me impossible that there are days like this and to be honest, I think that it's all just a coincidence.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: The EU takes 9 more jurisdictions out of the Tax Heaven list on: October 08, 2021, 09:46:02 AM
You should be disappointed, the only problem is that the people that's involved in the Pandora Papers were all people that's in power and can influence the move, that's why we have a hard time stopping these tax havens, it's because they're protected by the people that they're protecting, it's a symbiotic relationship.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 08, 2021, 07:52:19 AM
As long as we buy our groceries with FIAT, it will never happen. FIAT is crap and evil but it is a necessary evil so far. What are going to trade your crypto against when FIAT fails anyway? Other crypto? Most of them are shit too. FIAT will become shittier and shittier but it will be around for a long time.
Why do you think that way? If it's evil then why are you still using it? Also, there's no such thing as necessary evil, it's all evil. Middling, lesser or necessary, they're all evil. You're one of the people that the Cracked video was parodying with their video about Cryptocurrency.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Karnataka Government Banned Online Gambling on: October 07, 2021, 05:53:44 PM
What country is this from? Not familiar with the name of the government so I can't gauge whether it's going to be an influential legislation. If I just assume, I am thinking that it's not going to have a big effect in gambling industry let alone the crypto gambling platform.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 07, 2021, 04:56:37 PM
We can't indicate what violation you have committed in specific, we described why (once again) in this post.
Just a reminder.
Sincerely,
1xBit team
Well, they won't describe the problem because they're only wasting their time doing so especially with how you poorly handle how you do your job and making it up to all the people that you're site has an issue with, and you won't resolve this problem because that person isn't your accomplice that can help you clear your name.
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 07, 2021, 04:00:46 PM
That's just wonderful, they're addicted now and they don't know where to go so they get to the one that's being compared to their trade which is gambling. It's a pretty wholesome thinking that this is their decision, to go to a gambling helpline.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: October 07, 2021, 02:50:57 PM
TI 10 just started boys.
As always "OG" make a nice move and play against "Alliance" anyone see the stream today? There has some moment, n0tail just started world war 3 on the game 2 with "question" mark on all chat ~XD Seem like OG still butthurt and mad because last match before TI ~XD.
Missed the livestream but I did watch and the "?" Is definitely did made things a bit spicy for the two teams. A little off topic though, there's a reward for people who will watch The International at Twitch and they can get some items in game.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero - December 5 on: October 07, 2021, 01:57:54 PM
I believe in upsets but with Gervonta and a fighter like Romero who has a very aggressive and open style  I don't think it's possible in this fight, Gervonta is on a trail to greatness have seen knocking out fighters with one punch compared to Romero who took a lot of punch before knocking out his opponents and Romero's style is very awkward has an amateur stance, he is in danger if he punches like he is casting caution to the wind.
Gervonta will probably have the greatest ability there is when it comes to this kind of fight, isn't his endurance a big asset? If so then probably he will probably add Romero to one of his wins. But we can't be too cocky, we might see an upset.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 07, 2021, 01:16:13 PM
Yes, I mean who doesn't want to? Having a legal status means that you're not to be worried about law because it's on your side and at the same time you're protected since they recognize bitcoin or better yet crypto as a legal thing.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments capitulate and finally recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: October 07, 2021, 03:37:09 AM
Superpower countries will be the hardest one to budge in, other countries wouldn't have that much problem so I am pretty sure that this is going to be a chain reaction that has the superpowers at the end of the domino line.
