921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anything particular causing these declines? on: June 24, 2021, 03:21:55 PM
I am a follower on his Twitter so I would know if he is the cause of this FUD and I think that a lot of users here will pick it up when it happens. I have read some that it's China that's causing the FUD but I don't exactly know what China did though.
922  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many more times should you fall for the same FUD before you learn? on: June 24, 2021, 02:35:06 PM
I don't think that people are going to learn anything about FUD, they will probably fall for it all the time since they have fallen for it many times already. There's still hope for some of them though as any kind of people, they will still be able to learn and understand information, it's just a matter of open mindedness.
923  Other / Archival / Re: Where is the bottom and what's next? on: June 24, 2021, 12:39:13 PM
I don't think we can accurately know what is the absolute bottom of bitcoin since there is a likely chance that it won't go any lower than the last time so we just can speculate what's going to happen next and in the end we just need to have bitcoin in our wallets no matter what happens in the market.
924  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHO THE FUCK IS SELLING!? on: June 24, 2021, 11:53:34 AM
OP is another guy who bought bitcoin on the top. He bought when Bitcoin reached ATH around $64000, then blame all people who sold their bitcoin and make bitcoin price falling. There is nothing wrong about selling, because almost all people are trader not investor. You can't blame them just because they selling their own coin
Agree, if you sold and you can make profit then you might as well sell it. I think that there's nothing wrong with that, especially if you are trying to cut losses then might as well cut it before getting a bigger losses.
925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible to lose all your money invested Bitcoin in 2021? on: June 24, 2021, 10:23:09 AM
If you were to sell it at a price were you are losing and you are constantly buying back at a really higher prices, I think that in theory you will lose all your money in your investment.
926  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 24, 2021, 07:47:29 AM
It sounds like an insider job. The excuse given by the promoters, that informing the authorities would slow down the recovery of the stolen funds sounds just ridiculous. This was just a delaying tactic, so that these criminals could move the funds to some off shore tax haven. Anyway, now the users can blame themselves. One of the golden rules of investing in cryptocurrency is "not your keys, not your coins". These people did the mistake by keeping their coins in an exchange wallet. Now all they can do is to regret.
It is an inside job, their disappearance isn't a mere coincidence, they could've disappeared any day but they disappear after the hacks. This is the reason why I worry a lot about exchanges, they have the ability to get out of the game without being traced back, this will cast doubt to many people who wil see new exchanges in the future.
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Inflation only happens when Central Banks print High Denominated Notes? on: June 24, 2021, 07:16:47 AM
If they print a lot of smaller denominations, I think it will still have the same effect as that. I think inflation could be prevented if the spending is being monitored and controlled and the wages are growing in parallel with inflation.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: June 24, 2021, 06:44:22 AM
This is just my opinion but I think the reason that they are afraid of cryptocurrency is that they might be redoing their system if they want to fully integrate it since there will be a lot of characters in an address and people can have a lot of addresses, imagine that many characters and millions of people using your bank, your system will have a hard time storing or in the least get a bit expensive.
929  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's up with the recent decline? on: June 23, 2021, 12:54:49 PM
The recent decline cause was China banning or shutting down mining facilities in their country. This should only affect the market in the short term while miners are looking to move towards other countries more welcoming of crypto and mining, and shouldn't affect the market in the long run. The Doge meme died already afaik, there wasn't much news about it so I guess that's what happened. This is actually an opportune moment to buy and hodl for a short term gain since the market would naturally bounce up after a few weeks after the China fud dies down.
The shut down this year is a bit different if you think about it because China seems to be much more serious than the last time that they did this ban since they are preparing for their digital currency, might as well remove the possible competition.
930  Economy / Economics / Re: FBI aims to keep valuables, $86M cash confiscated in safe deposit store raid on: June 23, 2021, 07:46:59 AM
I guess that's what you get when you do illegal stuff, you damage other people's property by being part of the seized products. I think that what the FBI did is fair, they were around the crime or have been involved in it so I think that the seizure is fair plus they will probably auction it off when the time comes. If this people could've invested in bitcoin, the amount of seizure would probably be smaller.
931  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: June 23, 2021, 07:08:01 AM
I am not comfortable with a coin with only one exchange Betfury is doing great and will continue to be great, but they need an additional exchange to boost their presence in the market and generate more supports Biswap is a great find but for a token to launch they need more options, I checked on Coingecko and Coinmarketcap until now they are not listed I know some projects who easily get into these two in just a matter of weeks.
Exactly, I wouldn't be trusting of that coin no matter how hyped it is because if they aren't listed, they can just vanish out of thin air if they want to do so no matter how reputable they are, remember those companies who run away with all the investors money when the market is in a stable volatility? That can happen to their coin too.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ⭐ on: June 23, 2021, 06:37:01 AM
I would love to see BTCGOSU's Mascot either in lenticular print or by having a small stuff toy that we can display on our working setup. I am sure BTCGOSU's T-shirt would also be something worth trying to sell as a merch.  Shocked

Here is an example of lenticular print.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQtFtdsFSTc
I think that every business should come to a point where they have to have a mascot to represent their business. A merch is a good one to support the business. Also you mentioned t-shirts, you are a really good graphics artist with a lot of contests done, you will definitely dominate the competition if BTCGOSU for t-shirt design.
933  Economy / Gambling / Re: (Rollbit.com) I withdrew LTC to BTC wallet and support won't help. on: June 23, 2021, 06:06:04 AM
If Rollbit is a "caring" casino, I believe this issue can be resolved as it's not like you mistakenly send LTC to a valid LTC address (that is not under your control). But yeah, it's a mistake and OP is at the mercy of the casino's willingness to do some additional work. Anyway, I believe your fund is still in the casino's hot wallet since LTC -> BTC address is an invalid transaction, but there is still possibility that your "3" address was converted to "M" address. As long as you have the private key of the "3" address, it's recoverable.

Check your transaction tab whether they sent your withdrawal to unknown "M" address.
If OP is at the mercy and Rollbit wants to keep their good reputation in the forum then they will act on it as soon as possible. And follow what @mu_enrico instructs you OP, it helps a lot.
934  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bets.io ✅ Bitcoin Casino ❓ 24/7 Customer Support 🎰 Instant Withdrawals on: June 23, 2021, 05:21:40 AM
I have registered and the site is not bad at all, I know that it is a nascent casino, the fact of having LN implemented is a great addition especially in these moments of the market where everything is an uncertainty with the price of BTC, if it goes up a lot the fees are very high, what I really think should be accepted is that KYC should be applied to everything, I imagine it is because of the type of license, on the one hand you can see that the site is really authentic but KYC take it as an infallible option to protect themselves against any eventual money laundering. I hope they get more acceptance from the forum players.

@DroomieChikito didn't see LN implemented in the website so I think that you have to double check what you've just seen. Good thing that you support businesses putting KYC because I do think the same too that they will probably be targeted for money laundering so they might as well play it that way to avoid big fuzz in the future.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 23, 2021, 03:42:43 AM
Why do you side with the enemy? Big companies look like they are the victim here but that "excessive tax" that you are talking about isn't going to be of any help to you, they will just have more money to line their pockets. What we should be reacting is that we should be happy about the taxes because they help for a bigger government fund.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 23, 2021, 03:04:49 AM
Exactly, they will care much more about profits than the wellbeing of their users because what's the point of curing your customers if them being sick is the way that you can make a lot of money. Also, regarding the economic cost, I think gamblong industry is a big contributor with taxes and tourism, just look at Las Vegas, Macau and Hongkong.
Yes, both of you are right as long as the casino can attract many gamblers and they can get more money from them. The casino will not care about the addicted gamblers, how they can solve the addiction, and how the gambler can avoid committing a crime. A gambling industry contributes a big income for the government in the country that allows gambling. The casino does not think much about the side effect of the player in the gambling games because they think that is the gambler's responsibility.
That's what a business should do, you don't blame the knife companies when there is a stabbing or you cut yourself while preparing your vegetables, that's the same for any business, they offer the product or service and it's your responsibility on what you are going to do with it.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 23, 2021, 02:33:20 AM
Other betting options are now out:

So we have to hone our predictions on which round this fight will end in favour of Lomachenko, round 9-12 are good.

Or better yet, if you feel that Nakatani can pull an upset here and shock the boxing world, then the odds are very juicy.
It's good measure to also put some money on Draw and Decision because you never know what's going to happen next so you might as well cover all your bases. I think that the decision odds is a good way to cover your base because given that they are good fighters, they might be able to end all the round standing.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: June 23, 2021, 01:38:03 AM
It will not unite the fans, and this might be the start of the PH vs PH in boxing as there's a lot of PH boxers that could win a championship, now, what would happen if Dasmarinas will also upset Inoue? And that fight will be scheduled today, so let's also watch it because there are still not betting odds yet.
I think that they are talking about a different type of unification and there's no such thing as united Filipino fans, everyone thinks they're better than the other. I think that having an all Filipino match up in the international stage is interesting because we will be able to settle the old questions as to who is going to be the strongest fighter of our country.

940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: June 22, 2021, 03:07:55 PM
To be honest, I see it as another marketing strategy where they could attract more players who are using cannabis. We can't do anything about it since cannabis is legal in their country. They focus on keeping their players by allowing even cannabis usage and other stuff like alcohol and cigarette but I hope that they wouldn't allow illegal drugs in the future.
It's not yet legal on a federal level, the legality of marijuana is still on a state to state basis although, I don't think there's nothing wrong with weed since it's a good money making industry if you ask me and we know that US government loves their taxes.
