201  Other / Meta / Re: New sub-board idea on: September 18, 2021, 08:27:12 AM
We already have a board for tokens. Having it filled with garbage is hardly a reason to create a new board that will be inevitably filled with garbage. If the altcoin section could clean itself up (and judging by all these suggestions popping up you'd think there should be enough people to care about it and report garbage to mods) then you wouldn't need a new board. Regular altcoin boards could easily accommodate fad du jour.
Exactly, NFT means Non-Fungible Tokens so it belongs in the Altcoin Discussion. I'm a bit curious though, what does fad du jour means?
202  Other / Meta / Re: Why people plagiarize on: September 18, 2021, 07:29:18 AM
Because they have a hard time coming up with words, ideas and structure and it's much easier to plagiarize someone's work rather than just making your own stuff.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: vitalik's contribution is also great on: September 18, 2021, 05:48:55 AM
In the first place though, who says that it's not? I mean he is the creator of Ethereum so it's not like he's just a nobody, and we are on a bitcoin forum so it's not every day we talk about other coin and their founders.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Book/Website Suggestions ? on: September 17, 2021, 05:24:15 PM
Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions by Ben Mezrich is a good one, it's the book that the movie 21 was based upon. That can help you probably since it's a book about counting cards
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arizona has legalized fantasy sports betting! on: September 17, 2021, 04:02:39 PM
This is great news. In my opinion, betting in fantasy sports is more attractive for players because it minimizes the possibility of various kinds of manipulation in the sport of fake matches, etc. I believe that over time, this area of gambling will become more widespread.
That's for you though, I don't think not a lot of people knows about fantasy sports right now and from what I can see in some of them, I feel like it's not really fun to have bet on this sports since it can be easily rigged by a code.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think I have a gambling problem on: September 17, 2021, 02:21:38 PM
It's a good thing you noticed on time you can avoid getting addicted and at the age of 18, you should avoid gambling until you are matured enough to control emotions that are associated with gambling.
You can try withdrawing slowly
18 is mature enough, I think OP needs to go for a therapy because it's hard to control your urges, it's unlikely that OP can control himself, you're saying he's young so that means that emotions are running high.
207  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about youtube/twitch marketing? Is it ethical? on: September 17, 2021, 01:39:12 PM
Yes it's ethical, I don't think that the companies sponsor streamers/content creators that they know have a higher demographic for kids, I mean have you looked at some YouTube channel that's mainly kids?  They don't have any kind of gambling sponsor and I think for now, it's ethical and the gambling companies really don't want the backlash.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to play online slots on: September 17, 2021, 01:04:29 PM
Of course if there's a promo or a new game, I mean we might spend a lot for today but the expenses will be worth it especially if everyone who joins the promo is going to get something.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: September 17, 2021, 09:59:03 AM
I hope yes because I already have accumulated enough bitcoin in my portfolio, so I don't mind when it gets to an all time high again but if it's not going to be my price, I will probably just save more bitcoin along the way until I am satisfied with the price of the incoming all time high.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin market just gifted the El Salvadorians 15% discount on: September 17, 2021, 08:49:37 AM
That is if the people buy bitcoin right now given how there's a lot of resistance to adopt bitcoin in the public there, I don't think that it's not good news but to the people that's using those, they're probably happy right now since the prices are OP has said, discounted.
For starters we don't need quantity in this context, just some people that can buy a lot of bitcoins would be enough. They will eventually get familiar with bitcoin and resist less when the time comes. It's just that the people that's going to make a lot of money in the future are the people who bought when bitcoin is at that price.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: The indices that makes bitcoin price on: September 17, 2021, 06:48:03 AM
Some people are responsible for that crash, but I will not think much about them and consider that is a normal correction and still waiting for the next rising. If bitcoin can get down to the lowest price like what we see, the chance to increase higher in the future will be bigger because the investor will not let this chance and will want to buy as many as they can. I am sure many of us are still waiting for the bullish trends coming for bitcoin, and many of us already bought many.
That's the right mindset, if you look at it you can make more profit if you just wait it out. As you've said, the prices are going up and down and it's all normal so as an investor, it's better if you watch out and don't make any rash decisions that will make things much worse.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do you watch crypto chart pattern on: September 17, 2021, 05:11:19 AM
It's simple, to try and predict what's going to come next because no matter how much we deny that there's no pattern, there's a certain movement that the market always follows.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = 100k by December on: September 17, 2021, 03:14:55 AM
~~~
I'm also pretty sure that a lot of people are targeting a price they think it's worth selling. because of this, there is always a correction when the bitcoin price reaches a new price as it is today. the price of bitcoin is still quite difficult to maintain the price of $50k, because there are still many people who take short-term profits like today. however, for this month, it looks like the bitcoin price could hit $55k, or possibly higher.
however, the potential to see a $100k price tag later this year is still huge. in fact, I feel that this month is the start of the crypto price hike, especially for top coins. I think one by one the news is starting to support the development of crypto which will push the price closer to $100k
With more people taking those short-term profits is going to only make things worse for the market because it will go down again but it can't break through the resistance since a loxt is selling to take profit but the good thing is that it's not showing any form of slowing down.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concern about the the problem of online underaged gamblers. on: September 16, 2021, 04:52:49 PM
~~~
If parents can supervise their kids when they are online with their gadgets, their kids will not try to visit unnecessary websites and focus on what they want to do. They will not try playing gambling because their parents have already told them that playing gambling can make them become addicted and can ruin their lives in the short term. The role key of the parents is not easy because they need to guard their children and make sure that they do not break the illegal thing that can drag them anytime.
Well, they choose to make an offspring meaning that they tacitly agreed to the responsibility that's going to come with raising a kid, I wouldn't say that it's the hardest job in the world, I mean a fireman, policeman, soldier and surgeons are much harder than being a parent to be honest.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 16, 2021, 03:29:02 PM
~~~
I kind of agree with you. For sure there must be a better way to spend those money than in casinos. There must also be a better way to spend one's leisure or free time than gambling or wasting money. But you cannot generalize all gamblers this way. You have to differentiate a gambler who has maintained a decent life, a happy family, a good job, etc from someone who ends up pawning and selling all properties, left by family, fired from a job, etc because of uncontrolled gambling.
Dude, the only gambler that has maintained a good life is none other than those who were born from a rich family and I don't think that not everyone can be that kind of people. Plus, it's rare to see a gambler that has maintained a good relation with their families.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of legends on: September 16, 2021, 02:42:30 PM
why do they call it game of legends?
couldnit be that these are sons of rich guys and doesn't have cash with them and just bet whatever is valuable they have that day? if they have their wives along, its possible that  theyd bet their wives for a night too as long as they agree.
Betting anything they have that night is possible but wives is just too extreme even to the taste of those people, I think only the uber rich will consider that since their wives is just a trophy that they flaunt in public.
217  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀📈 Satcrash.io - NO KYC - First 5 to deposit gets $10 each 🚀📈 on: September 16, 2021, 02:08:41 PM
By the way, there's a typo on the "WITHDRAWAL" (spelled as WITHDRAWL) when clicking on the Wallet. Might want to fix that.
Thank God that someone's pointed this out, I mean not a lot of people don't complain about this but sometimes it's the little things right? A lot of sites don't fix this kind of thing so there's that feeling of being incomplete in those sites.
218  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasinorank.com - Reviews and ranking of Crypto Casinos on: September 16, 2021, 01:30:01 PM
Article was well written, but did you find more information what betting websites are using Provably Fair algorithm system and what are the differences between them?
I saw you wrote that PrimeDice, BitDice, Bitsler, Bustabit and Stake are using it, but can this be applied for Sports betting, so we can confirm we placed a bet on some match?
You should add more reviews for casinos, I only see four now on your website.
I don't think that a betting platform has a need for a provably fair system, the site doesn't have a control over the matches so I don't think it's useless for them to implement the system, I think it's used in roulletes, blackjack and other probability games.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsteel keeps buying into BTC on: September 16, 2021, 09:30:44 AM
They have been a long time supporter of bitcoin so it's understandable why they keep on buying, they believe and are banking on the potential of bitcoin to go up exponentially in the future and they have the means to buy a lot of bitcoin so why pass up on the opportunity right?
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull market is back on: September 16, 2021, 07:39:55 AM
Good thing that it's finally back, and it's a good thing that I have bought when it was around 28k and I was happy that bitcoin is going up because I am already guaranteed a profit but I don't have any plans selling right now because I am sure that we haven't reached the peak yet.
