try Heavy Rain. ok its a old one, but nice.

We're talking about Games here.
lol

just played its predecessor Fahrenheit and that was more like a series of "playable" cutscenes with one of the shittiest endings in game history.
(never understood why heavy rain wasn't also released for pc which represents a lot of mature audience)
gamedesign wise i loved the new approach though and it starts pushing industry towards more believable characterdesign and better storytelling overall.

i'm curious how that stuff will evolve with oculus rift.
fully interactive movies someday in the future...i can't wait  Smiley

One indie that I'll never forget is Bastion.
Brilliant game, love everything in it.

loved that one,too.

just came to my mind...
i wonder when steam accepts direct payment via btc?

in case anyone also missed it, just found this service (at least it was new to me Tongue, so hard to not miss out on so much innovation going on):

...as long as they lay off the plastic surgery.

don't want to spoil your fantasies, but did you know that easily more than 90% of southkorean models had plastic surgery?
(highest per capita rate of plastic surgery in the world!)

eyelid and nose correction for a more western look is very common for girls in korea before they turn full age.
(it's even an unsaid standard there for woman applying for jobs in most of the companies)

look at these years candidates for miss southkorea. That lack of individual facial features is really scary. (or i'm just a racist european that can't see the difference  Tongue)

I sell discounted Papers Please steam codes for btc, you can PM me if you want to buy some. I haven't tried the game yet but I will have to soon! I've heard a lot of good things about the game.

damn that came one day too late  Tongue, but anyway thanks for your offer. unfortunately i don't know anyone in my circle of friends that has passion for indiegaming and bitcoins at hand.

papers please is really an interesting approach. socialcritical and politically controverse undertones in games are still quite rare.
I'm not sure though if and how a story evolves, will check that out at the weekend.

@hylnur: Hotline Miami is great fun, and the other two I've been planning on getting for a long time! Great game picks Smiley

just bought papers please yesterday (after playing the beta some months ago), unfortunately there was no payment in btc possible
(i thought humble store already accepts btc, perhaps it was just the bundles).

i love indiegames, they are like artsy shortfilms compared to blockbusters.
love to details, innovative gameplay ideas and great stories intelligently squeezed into a small amount of time for a playthrough...and all that entertainment for a low price.

the only triple A games i got completely hooked over the last decades were Fallout Series, Mass Effect Series, GTA series, Deus EX and Skyrim. (besides some oldschool gems from LucasArts, Grim Fandango being my favourite)
everytime it was mostly the story and the details that made me play them through.
(skyrim was time-wise the biggest beast i had to wrestle with and at some point a lot of these games start to feel like sitting at a slot machine when story is getting weaker)

well, yea that's kinda cool,
but there's place for improvement  Cheesy

edit:
Where did you buy the e-cig? I thought about buying one at vaporstation, but the extra warranty stuff got me thinking

uh that was fast, nice list and thanks for your efforts.
hopefully it becomes a sticky. i mean we even have posting guidelines on speculation board.
it's logical and overdue that we have the same for auctions.

837  Other / Meta / Rules Thread (sticky) for Auctions Board on: September 03, 2013, 06:08:35 AM
hey there, from time to time i read through latest auctions on this forum,
and there are quite often some arguments about imprecise descriptions, vague ending times for auctions and a lot of other stuff besides the scamming
(prices named in $ instead of BTC, I even saw someone offering payment via paypal Huh).

So what do you think about a sticky thread that roughly explains how users should perform the whole process of an auction in a professional way?
This should by no means escalate to strict rules with instant scammer-tags at nonobservance,
but is meant more like a guideline or checklist for users for successful and smooth auctioning.

Please tell me if this is over the top and too much nitpicking, i just thought it could help newbies aswell as some seniors who constantly have to complement inaccurate auctions.
with such a thread you could easily quote a rule if somethings wrong and it helps to prevent scams.

some rough ideas for the beginning:

-auction ending time (determined as timespan in days, hours and minutes) beginning with time thread was posted. (
-prices presented only in bitcoins ($ are a rough estimate anyway with the ongoing value changes), whole payment process in btc
-no paypal!!!
-precise describtion of offered goods

share auctions:
-message signed with dividend address as proof of ownership
-no auction without possiblity of escrow (and statement who pays the fee)
-seller has to guarantee certain date until share transfers are finished. (perhaps a week?...to avoid arguments on dividends)
-seller has to update auctions within certain timespan (e.g. 24h or 48h). (i saw sellers not responding to auctions for more than 48 hours after ending time)

I'll soon post a final concept in this thread and then ask some moderator if it could become a sticky.

Any feedback, ideas and suggestions are welcome...

everytime i see auctions like this it becomes more and more obvious that we need a sticky thread on auctions board with some rules roughly handling the process of an auction.

840  Economy / Auctions / Re: iPhone 5 16gb at&t white 450$ on: September 03, 2013, 12:41:52 AM

this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=285961.0

There's a easy solution then. You can solely accept Bitcoin, with ESCROW If you wish to accept paypal too, you could use a site like ebay.
& this

besides, you have two iphones (16GB at&t and 32GB sweden telenor locked) and sell them for same price?
dude seriously, use ebay to get a better price, and after that buy btc with that money  Smiley

at least name your price in BTC and not $.
