my theory is that big players like amazon, apple, microsoft, google will integrate btc only indirectly in exchange for their own coinsystem to profit from higher dependance of customers. (imo amazoncoin and apple's patent for "imoney" are a first look-out towards that strategy) |

Man, I am so excited for this week. But nervous too, everyone is expecting big things but what if nothing happens? I would expect us to slowly move upwards during the day today on low volume, then sometime mid-day tomorrow a whale will take a bite and things will go crazy. That is, unless the Chinese really are leading this market, then I might be asleep for the start of it. I think you are correct. During this quiet time, people are poking about on the other exchanges. But when action time comes, they will go with the one they can still get answers from, not timeouts. As far as I can tell, Gox is the only one who is battle hardened in these conditions. And as far as stamp is concerned, I believe a lot of people use it as an entry to gox, buy cheaper there, sell on Gox... Wait till enough profit made.... go back to stamp to cash out. But I am not sure too many are cashing out. I think a lot are in it for the long run, and are happy to keep both dollars and bitcoins on the exchanges...considering it 'savings/investment' that is already committed for the long haul. nice analysis...describes exactly the position i'm in right now. Fiat at stamp, btc at gox...and just hoping for a dip before rally continues...  i'm sure a lot of new accounts were registered at stamp after all the positive news lately. (is there a source for this number? haven't found any info on that yet.) |

Absolutely. The Internet has been a peaceful revolution on centralized media so far, despite Hollywood and old media throwing a fit and trying some legal shenanigans. These decentralized, anti-fragile systems simply hollow the establishment structures out little by little, without much fanfare. Bitcoin will incite a much bigger reaction because banks are bigger than media, but there's not a lot that can really be done. (kinda fitting to the season atm ) |

Depends what kind of coke  What is this supposed to mean? That something of the likes of Coke Zero or Diet Coke is good for you? Diet coke and coke zero is worse off, they put some artificial sugar in it... i'm drunk and in babbly mood... have to add some background knowledge for artifical sugar: *snip* this theory is still very controversial, but bold part is fact. my conclusions: bitcoin will grow like a positive tumor in fiat system and i stay with my lovely sugar which has its place in human society for more than 10.000 years  So which Ozu films have you watched by now? oh no master has found me . i'll write pm would become too OT here |

Ganna order one of this now... buon appetito! had some yesterday, need to share my favourite recipe for the dough: coarsely ground fluor (2) normal ground fluor (1) dry barm (one package per 500gr fluor) 4 pinches salt mix everything up (add perhaps some olive oil for the taste), slowly fill lukewarm water to the mixture (work it until nothing sticks to the fingers) cover it up and put the bowl for 45min in your bed (personally my favourite place) roll it out with a hand full coarsely ground fluor and add some olive oil into the tomato sauce to get the dough more softer under the covering when it comes out of the stove. no baking tray needed, baking paper and grill is perfect. the only secret is the special fluor which adds this taste like it comes out of a stone oven. |
