Looks like I'm late with my hashrate and without pool. So I quit.

There was no getting in early with this. The difficulty started high. If there are 200 GPUs mining this then you should get 1 out of every 200 blocks. I hope for a pool soon. It would make this more fair.

The mining reward doesn't halve so this is still early. We need a pool ASAP though.

There is no pool soon...  Sad

No need for pool YET!

I have ~43 shft with just 5x GPU and i needed 10-15min to start it...

How to check balance?
web3.fromWei(web3.eth.getBalance(web3.eth.accounts[0]), "ether") <- do not work

i presume there is no blochchain explorer yet?

They sad they changed the RPC call... so only their miner will work
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHIFT] Based on ethereum. GUI wallet and server software is close to done. on: August 24, 2015, 09:32:54 PM
Ethereum is "soon" to go full POS, then becuse one entity or dev team hold 90% they will be in full control, even now they control what they release... Ethereum is no open community but closed group of ppl

Don`t forget ethereum premine was 97 million of eth and miners atm have less then 1% of that

there is chance for Shift to be full decentralized and fairly made so ppl hold it and not one entity
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHIFT] Based on ethereum. Pre launch (2 days) community involvement. on: August 24, 2015, 08:33:26 PM
full POW, no POS!

If some premine then all public and why and where it gone be invested, not like ethereum IPO "scam" 90+% premine etc...

Real decentralization not as fake ethereum which is more controled by dev!
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 16, 2015, 10:38:56 PM
Hi,

I wonder why the Ethereum devs went on a completely new protocol for mining and not support the industry standard stratum protocol for mining? And furthermore, are there any plans for adding the stratum protocol for pooled mining of Eths? This would definitely broaden the options for mining, more pools would be available, the mining itself would be more decentralized and new mining software could probably emerge on the basis of existing projects (from existing crypto coins). So why reinventing the wheel on a task as simple as mining is? Please share some information on this topic.

Kind regards,
kenshirothefist

I think they care for mining with zero respect, ethereum is soon to be POS only, it was the plan from start

@ocminer
Maybe there is something here:

1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 15, 2015, 10:32:14 PM
And what is next phase in ethereum, POW gona end WHEN??
Miner got <1% and that gona end up soon, so then primined ppl which almost got it for free will have even more... where is there a decentralization???

20-30 ppl holding >60M eth

It looks to me miners are just lured to ETH do trade dump/pump and give their hard earned BTC for some primined future

When does POW stop and POS start .......?
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 15, 2015, 10:24:07 PM
@Benjig
Can you give me one example which usable "thing" NOW @ethereum gona bring $$ to it?? just prove me what is backed by 100 million $ market cap!?

pls no some kid graphs, I wana real usage which someone gona pay with $$ now!

also pls don`t forget 99% is premined!
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 13, 2015, 09:30:52 PM
Point me to total "coin" count plz currently in existence.

As far we know there is ~70 million premined (contracts) which some of those are sold at 0.0005 - 0.001 per BTC

mining rate is not so high 15sec blok which is 5eth (~20eth per minut being mined)

So only retard would buy at this price!
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 12, 2015, 08:24:58 PM
Not true at all. If LTC is valued at what it is...and RIPPLE is valued at what it is. There is absolutely no reasons this cant go as high.
look at ripples market cap and its one of the only coins with a major company thats invested ...google

LTC = 0 USE CASE

DASH= 0 USE CASE

ETH = IBM and SAMSUNG backing + COUNTLESS OTHER AMAZING PROJECTS WITH TOP NOTCH DEVS  , DAPP COMPANIES IN SINGAPORE ARE IN TALKS WITH THE GOV.

This coin can be an easy 100 bucks. If LTC hit 50 dollars, there is no reason this cant hit that.

This coin has alot more going for it that LTC, therefore speculation wise it would only make sense to accumulate now.

and who owns 70M coins??? FFS just bullshit ass talk

sure I also wana belive eth have a future, but hoping for some unrealistic price now is just plain STUPID
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 09, 2015, 04:59:42 PM
Hello, does anybody know what does this mean?
Thank you.

> web3.fromWei(eth.getBalance(eth.coinbase), "ether")
'140'

That you have 140eth
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 08, 2015, 08:51:45 PM
wow huge dump!  Shocked  0.01 was to much
When you compare ethereum with ltc market cap you realise ethereum is very cheap for what it can do compared with ltc

60M premined + we don`t know if its secure/realible at all, new coin, etc... price will prolly go up one day but not today or tomorow

GPU 0 cant brake 0.3-35 Kh.
GPU 1,2 working with 0.68-7kh.
verry slow desktop moving with 8GM memory DDR3 1600 A-data. not sure what to do..

GPU 0 is prolly being used by windows, try connecting your monitor to integerated GPU if you have one...
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Karpeles finally getting some Japanese style justice - hang 'em high on: August 01, 2015, 04:41:42 AM

Anyone ignorant enough to leave coins there after the June 2011 "Hack" deserves no sympathy.

~BCX~

Bullshit most ppl are not in BTC from that time!
And next time you trade on some market and that exchange fall I can say the same
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: July 26, 2015, 01:35:16 AM
For almost a week now there has been no pool that is working for more than 24 hours. every pool is having problems. Can someone fix this? No wonder there is no volume as there is so much trouble with mining. I have already lost some approx 3000 UTC due to failing pools & my withdrawal from tumblingblock pool. These people are worried about NF & inflation while they cant maintain working mining pools & block explorer. It was great while it lasted but I guess i have to move on to something else with mining. Sad

Mine XPM and buy UTC, thats what I do now....

there were reports of ddos some ppl prolly have some agenda to do it for some reason atm
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: July 25, 2015, 11:13:14 PM
Last we know they are testing the fork to NF15, new retarget algo to fix the orphan issue etc...

also I agree on NF15 even more when I sow the problem with YAC and botnet problem with them, being a suitible CPU coin is no good at all
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: July 17, 2015, 03:58:10 PM
Still Ultrader is just a troll who is trying to profit on his crap talk... sorry but the one who dumped +700K UTC in last week is not in short by any mean Smiley

I think anyone can be a part of team and help, and the ones that do NOTHING as me, have no right to bitch all the time, sure if coin goes downhill and no work is done that`s it, but I see UTC team being active all the time, more or less
1418  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: okcoin.com phishing? on: July 17, 2015, 04:04:55 AM
That's kinda strange.
I'm a user of okcoin and I never received such emails  Huh

okcoin.cn or okcoin.com ?

I reged both, so I am not sure from which it lekaed my email

Also I noticed under profile CN site has nick filed which by default was as my gmail... what nickname is used for and if its public I duno, but if its and its by default same as email (with no @gmail.com) its a security issue

I inspected the email a bit more, phising is genuine from google, but someone made gmail account and set as recovery options as my own email... duno what they are trying to do
1419  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: okcoin.com phishing? on: July 17, 2015, 03:41:17 AM
I created an account on okcoin.com. Almost immediately after I did this I started receiving several phishing attempts on the associated email address. They pretend to be gmail team. They say someone has accessed the account and tried to change password etc. This email address is not published anywhere and is only used with one other exchange.

Same happened to me, got email from google for some unknown gmail account... i presume its also phishing

1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why LTC isn't following BTC price? on: July 11, 2015, 03:30:41 PM
DOGE showed how insanely vulnerable/weak Litecoin was... So pathetically weak hashing power that just some stupid internet-meme could whip up more hashing power than Litecoin had almost overnight!

After seeing that, who wants to wait for the next meme to come along happening to say "lets trash all the scrypt coins, its easy to beat their pathetic hashing power, lets do it!"

-MarkM-

Or you just stupid and lie because of that or you are just one hater and retard?

Doge had never more hashing power then LTC, in a week i had a lot part of LTC mining power just due huge marketing and pump on doge which fall on his butt soon, doge is now merged mined to litecoin network because its only way for doge to survive!
