Is this topic of butt hurt ppl crying or we wana see better GPU support for XPM???
If anyone is unhappy PM mrlt and cry, we don`t care no one forced anyone to donate, even if it helped to start with GPU in any state is gr8!
I hope someone open a new topic and ppl could help, and not read garbage

@YipYip
Don`t forget HP10 is like 3x faster then HP5 at the time of mrlt started, also price dropped a lot
I presumed that might happen, but i hope GPU mining will save/help XPM! at the end

Just to confirm, I mined a block with the GPU miner last night. I'm running 2x 7950's with a quad core AMD. I'm very surprised to have found a block, as that setup does appear to be running slower than just the CPU on HP10.
tits or it did not happen!

I used sieva procentage 23 use_gpu_fermat_test false CPU 6 treads (i have i5 but this helped) and fermat test is done on CPU
+ 2x 7950

Is the consensus that the gpu miner is worse than hp10?
you can not compare, GPU miner is like in rude alpha state HP10 is like miles more optimized, + prime coin is hard nut to crack even for a CPU coding

PPS is not whats is counted for.... 7-8-9 chains are needed per hour I had ~110M (with seiva procentage of 24) with cpu+2x 7950 and that resulted in just few 7-chains and one 8-chains per hour, and that is bad My i5 is doing ~2600pps thats like 10M/h (solo hp10)

I would say no, mikaelh sad 5-chains are not all, what important is block i am now testing seieva percentage 23, with CPU fermat, CPU ~95% and 2x GPU at 96% 5-chains are more or less always same ~500-600, got one or two 7-8 chains but it might be just luck would be gr8 if someone post 7-8 chains find... atm i have ~25-30 6 chains and ~9 7-chains quit it for tonight, most i managed are few 7chains and ~one 8chain per hour and that is not good
I dont know i was testin fermat test on CPU and 2x7950, sieva 6 made it worst, but better if i put fermat on GPU... but still i think whats count is onlu 9-10 chains
hell know maybe this coin is not so suited for ATI GPU, maybe cuda can do better, also looks like fermat test is "slow" on GPU so better fermat test on CPU (~4core+) maybe could push few GPUs some NV 660GTX if ATI fail
also ppz should know mihaelh in a month gained like 300+% on CPU optimization + help from others and still i bet he don`t understand all.... and its CPU optimization which should be more easy then GPU coding

reaper.conf try: platform 0 <-- change to 1 if you have working integrated gpu device 0
start reaper with a bat file like reaper.exe pause
and look at platform info or anything else
you need > diff which is 9.8 so 0.98
you all should not forget to edit primecoin.conf located in app user folder from your qt wallet rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcallowip=* rpcport=9914 <-- or which is used at primecoin.conf in reaper folder should be the same testnet=0 daemon=1 server=1
the rest should work as default
also my stats are 425 5-chains 23 6-chains 3.2 7-chains
but running it for just over a hour, maybe some other ppl should post their results?
i5 - fermet test + 2x 7950 used by 50% so one 7950 + cpu would do the same
Nothing special here, all default! mikaelh wallet rpc ip alow, port, server=1 at appdata for wallet
also using use_gpu_fermat_test false so CPU do a fermat test a lot faster for me... but still GPU usage 7950 is just ~50% and CPU i5 is 80%
still no block and still don`t know how match is it faster then pure i5
also had intel GPU, reaper tried to use it as platform 0 so had to set platform 1 to use ATI GPU in reaper.conf
BTW: win8 x64, 13.8 catalist, AMD sdk 2.81

OK here i got 80M with 7950, so that would mean i should aks 2BTC! come on ppl be quick
true if you hit a low diff coin with fast block with huge power you get a LOT of orphans....
easy done, the miner will have online activation (hw dependent so no abusing), just put username and wait for activation code over PM
I offer him 1ltc for a used spot!
