Are you gona activate segwit at litecoin and when?

If not why?

You know you are blocking LTC development?HuhHuhHuh

Some pools are not updated 100%, just mine at some which it is.........
Coinotron, etc

I like segwit, lost hope on LTC due chines greedy ASIC insane miners which will kill it

Have put 1Ghs at segwit pool mining pool hub!.... hope for the best!
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralize LTC mining, change algo to GPU POW on: March 23, 2017, 02:42:04 PM
They don`t rule GPU mining, I for sure know they don`t have more then ~20% power in total GPU mining!

The primary problem is not china miner, its their conflict of interests with bitcoin which their agenda to block segwit and keep bitcoin stuck in time and usage, yeah they ARE STUPID and only think day by day!
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralize LTC mining, change algo to GPU POW on: March 23, 2017, 03:30:57 AM

vote for GPU POW
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralize LTC mining, change algo to GPU POW on: March 22, 2017, 08:37:09 PM
Don`t forget asic miners are just few rich chines pools in full control (they are miners at same time), they blocked segwith what will they do next?

Is that how its should be few greedy asholes should be the ones to decide
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralize LTC mining, change algo to GPU POW on: March 22, 2017, 08:19:25 PM
There is also a option to softfork to dual algo mining, but I am not tech for it to know how that would go

But yeah sure hard fork to different algo would make new fork, but do we have option if asic miners decide to kill all LTC development and their only goal is to dump mined coins?
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralize LTC mining, change algo to GPU POW on: March 22, 2017, 07:26:14 PM
Good luck getting ASIC miners to support a fork which cuts them off completely.

They cutted litecoin development in full, they don`t listen to litecoin investors nor in the market nor in economy
Most litecoin pools are also a BTC pools that have agenda not to work in community interests (block segwit) and if them mean BLOCK litecoin development they will not think twice and kill it

So what is Litecoin ASIC china property or decentralized currency?

I only ask that
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Decentralize LTC mining, change algo to GPU POW on: March 22, 2017, 07:17:45 PM
I posted this first on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/60v2mr/decentralize_ltc_mining_switch_to_gpu_pow/

But would like to see what people think about it

We all know that in past years we only see asic miners dumping, while BTC is having problems with block overload. What did litecoin did? NOTHING at all?
Few Chinese pools decided to block any litecoin development and usability by blocking Segwit and in the process made litecoin weak and controlled by a few greedy people!
I propose that we soft fork to dual POW mining with GPU or even hard fork to some GPU heavy algo for which it is infeasible to create fast ASICs, or at least make it very expensive.
It could be equihash or some variant or lyra2 algo tuned for GPU
I am 100% sure 95% GPU miners would be open and eager to push segwit, that move would also make as on radar of huge number of people mining it
At same way we would decentralize mining all over a world!
In past I was never for hard fork or algorithm change, but if you as an investor and user of litecoin became hostage of 2-3 pools which have zero respect for the future and community, is it not right to do what majority wants?
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: March 22, 2017, 06:56:59 PM
Scrypt asic miners are blocking litecoin development, I hope they ASAP change their mind about litecoin future and not use it as genuine pig to promote BU in bitcoin and killing litecoin in the process

I hope wee gather support to fork LTC back to GPU miners if they continue to hamper LTC future:
https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/60v2mr/decentralize_ltc_mining_switch_to_gpu_pow/

and if you are asic owner switch to segwit pool, show support for LTC or mine doge next
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA CUDA miner [1.1.3a] on: March 20, 2017, 01:12:44 PM
@kalhohan
Its different kernel and miner...... they don`t use the memory with same utilization
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA CUDA miner [1.1.3a] on: March 19, 2017, 06:58:23 PM
you have two options:
afterburner freq/voltage graph edit (ctrl+f) + locking with "L" the desired freq/volt (I keep my MSI at 1980Mhz at 0.95v)

setting low TDP + huge OC like 100-200Mhz offset which at the end produce desired frequency at lower voltage, thise setting depend on card bios (gainward phoenic can do 80% TDP limit with +200Mhz and +800 on memory) which give you 1900Mhz on GPU at 0.91v and ~120w usage

654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA CUDA miner [1.1.3a] on: March 19, 2017, 06:43:05 PM
It depend how you limit freq, excaviator use less TDP so card will boost more in same TDP...
for me GTx1070 giv me same on pool with TDP od 120w some ~440sol/s per card (heavy undervolt +OC with TDP limit)
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA CUDA miner [1.1.3a] on: March 16, 2017, 10:07:31 PM
yeah new driver fixed the reading

also tested old driver DLL file (on 2nd rig) and now reading are fine too, maybe in next miner version use the driver system DLL?

also speed now match ewbf miner... if you deduct 2% from his fee
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: March 16, 2017, 09:08:56 PM
new updated
http://nicehash.com/tools/excavator_v1.1.3a_Win64.zip

is matching ewbf speed with 3x treads at same TDP, ewbf maybe is a bit faster if you don`t limit TDP

but if you deduct fee, no fee excavator will get you more on same TDP

ewbf need to work more to keep the 1st place now  Grin

ccminer cuda 7.5 alexis  -- 295Mh/s

well, at least you don`t have to pay to download it and you have a fee as a bonus, opensource dev should learn a lot from sp  Grin

zcoin mining calculator is just wrong, you just get 50% less, so its not profitable to mine, its being ruled by huge AWS farms still
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA CUDA miner [1.1.2a] on: March 13, 2017, 05:52:14 PM
@NiceHashSupport

In afterburner ctrl+F

move the desired dot to clock you wish, or better just move the core clock slider (which will move the whole graph up by freq) so desired frequency match voltage you wish, select the freq/volt dot and click "L" which lock like say 2000Mhz to 0.95v (I use that setting for LBC)

problem is you must do same for each GFX on the rig as it can be saved for all cards at once
