1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 03, 2016, 01:02:56 AM
That all problem is because of 6 pin, why didn't they simply put 8 pin and voila? RX 480 had to compete with gtx 1070, so if 1070 has 8 pin then why 480 doesn't?

Not really, with modern PSU's they use 6+2 pin connectors and the configuration in either is rated for 150 watts.  The +2 is for extra ground and really its pointless but they do it for safety incase of a extra discharge or something.

No the ground is important same as +12 line!
Also on 6pin one ground is used as sense so only two are operational, that why 8pin is a lot better!

Anyway on mu home wiring was bad and one ground was lose, whole bridge melted and it was all ground!
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: USB Risers problems on: July 02, 2016, 08:54:59 PM
None USB risers can hold more then 40W!!! (that I know) the problem is USB cable, sata power adapter, etc too match resistance!

Just buy quality 1x to 16x riser with molex connector!
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 02, 2016, 08:33:22 PM
They made a statement that they will "fix" 480 power issues via software (w/o details).

It can not be done by software at all, only was is to lower the clock and voltage, all the rest is lies from them, also to implement more robust and enforced TDP limits which also gona lower clock and voltage

wow. What a bold statement. Sounds like you think the way the driver controls the card is so dumb that they can't change anything but the settings users can change already.

Yes the drivers or even the bios can not fix VRM issue with one 6pin connector and bad ASIC and GPU which is not meant to work at the clock they released them!
Its simple as that, AMD can only lie, do a driver tweak to lower the performance/clock/voltage! or they can wait for better 14nm process so new 480 use less power
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 Specs leaked, release in 1 week? on: July 02, 2016, 05:58:41 PM
It will be only 192bit for memory so don`t expect match, also price will be huge with 480x debacle, 250-289$
I expect no more then 20Mh/s in ethereum

Its shame AMD can`t compete with NV so prices we see in future will stay high

it might do more than 20 due to high oc possibility, like 22MH at 80w

Sure its all on memory if it can be pushed more then 22-23Mhz will be doable

1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make a 100,000$ with an ICO on: July 02, 2016, 01:27:28 PM
To be honest I don`t know who to blame more ppl investing or people making ICO to get rich fast, the hype started most with ethereum so now many miners I know would invest in ICO because they think that is the one which can make them rich

They don`t care what it do or even does it do anything, the primary goal is to have profit as fast as possible, and we know that is not possible, someone has to lose for other to gain
And if you say something bad about project or try to reason, they will behave as kids who lost lollipop
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: USB Risers problems on: July 01, 2016, 11:58:37 PM
there are some bad risers at ebay and some good, shame you can not know till you receive it

also 7xx 2xx cards most draw little current from PCI-e slot (5-20w) but 3xx series some draw a lot more so bad riser will melt, even good riser I would not hold more of 60W a bad one might fall even on 30-40w or less
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question About GPU matching on: July 01, 2016, 10:12:36 PM
I have in my rig today 2 Sapphire HD 7950 OC 3gb and I want to add  another Graphics Card, However I was not avail to find the same 7950 in the market, Can my 3rd gpu be from another brand's 7950 with different vRam?  Also can I put a different card such as RX480?

You can mix as much as you like, only benefit of one brand is easy to set voltage and OC settings by afterburner or prefered tool, or use bios editor VBE7 then you have no problem setting any GPU as you like

atm my old rig has 3x 7950 asus and 1x Powercolor 280x (voltage is set by bios editor) and for 3x asus I use afterburner which linked all the same card (asus) if they are different you must set one by one
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on: July 01, 2016, 10:06:57 PM
Hi what are your oponions about Ethereum ?
Will price drops more or go up again ?

According to the comments from the miners, they are adding minining power actively, it indicates they think the price will rise.

So WRONG, mining power will never had anything with future price!!!
The price is on ppl investing, pump and dump scheme and stability of the coin (blockchain) etc...

We had few hack, failed softfork, unstable hyped community at reddit which know only to hype and moan, planed hard fork more due internal politics and less with the The DAO hack, you should be happy if price stay and not drop more

1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS 7950 DIRECT CUIV2 Low hashrate with Ethereum on: July 01, 2016, 07:17:23 PM
My hashrate slowly going down with my rigs with 7950, tried restart windows, miners - no solution. Was 19mhs, now 18.5, 18->17.5 and etc. anyone have same problem?

Everyone with 79x 2xx cards have that issue, as the DAG progress and get bigger hash speed drop, atm I have 7950 doing 19.3Mh (slit bios) and 280x doing ~19 (stock bios) at 1030Mhz

Only tonga 380x and 290x hashspeed do not drop with DAG increase, also so far NV is not effected
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 01, 2016, 07:13:15 PM
What AMD did???
They designed card for 100-120w max, then when NV relesed 1070/1080 they bumped TDP by bios edit, but they did not redesign power VRM!!!
Also I am not sure on the quality of 6pin connector I had problems with one 290x and 2x PCi-e 8pin one melted PSU cable from Seasonic, most connectors are not good quality even if the cable can push a LOT (one yellow wire might push as match as 10-20A), connector is crucial here and VRM design!
1173  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: July 01, 2016, 05:55:17 PM
Is that a problem for My choice provider or just Spectrocoin?
It is not a problem, just because of KYC requirements, client can only have one physical and one virtual card per currency per user, that is rule from My Choice.

I have 3 cards from mychoice but from three different providers, cryptopay, bitwala and spectro coin

would be nice to know of their rules, all are on same name/email, only problem was I can not register email to open them and must use card number to login to their sistem

I got reply from my choice:
Be assured you card willl be in active it will not be blocked from our end due to multiple account created with different biusiness partners.

Your card will be blocked only if you hold multiple account with one business partner.

Kindly get back us in of any further information required

Sincerely,

Cardholder Support

1174  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" prepaid card [Recharge it with bitcoin] [USD & EUR] on: July 01, 2016, 05:53:36 PM
People should know the banks are not safe at all, they just hide all the bad stuff under a rug, so far I see only Wavecrest and Mychoice as only providers most third parties use...

The charge back should be done by the ATM that was hacked to clone a card, but I guess it might be hard to prove what happened

Also as soon you plan to move BTC/$ there you must check all security options and only then chose if you like to use their service!

1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Ethereum will be finished after this attack on: July 01, 2016, 02:49:26 AM

If you've missed ETH ICO,  today is actually the best time to buy ETH for the moment they've fixed issues, you will once again missed the train.
I remember there was a thread about someone kicking himself all because he didn't invest to it back when its price were just cents.

"fix" what is there to fix?
The problem with ethereum is not bugs or the way it was planed to work, its more concept problem, being to open and confused to use with no clear guides or plan for what it gona be used
Also bigger problem the ppl behind it wants to have 100% control, and this is crucial flow
Also mayor mistake from beginning was promoting it as BTC 2.0, ethereum should never compete with BTC! his place is corporation use and not currency decentralized concept!
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting tomorrow onwards expect more Bitcoin users from China - UPDATED on: July 01, 2016, 02:41:04 AM
People are not so match afraid of regulations and control (most) but when they see fees going up, its just matter of days for them to go ape shit, bitcoin still need a lot to do with user friendly so a noob can be secure and safe not lose money, the rest will happen naturally

1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining these days? on: June 30, 2016, 03:40:51 PM
The diff is high. You'd better setup several rigs to mine on single wallet on the LAN.

Do you mean mining the Ethereum? I would rather wait and see the implementation of the soft and hard fork.

It is quite risky to invest in the Ethereum mining rigs now. The fate of the Ethereum is not determined after the hack.

So true, but hack was just first of problem, on top of that its 72M premine, smart contract as being perfect for ponzy the clear example is The DAO and way to lock 11+ millions of ethereum away of trading so price can be more easy manipulated
